Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this research is to produce natural science materials based on project based learning. The Research method is research development, the model is Dick and Carey with technique of analyze data used is descriptive percentage and calculate average.Data collection was done by questionnaires obtained with expert validation and questionnaires from teachers and learners. Data from questionnaires of expert validation is 79.17% and teachers is 97.22%, the average is 8.82 with good category. The questionnaire response from the teacher obtained 85.33% with good category. Positive responses from questionnaire learners obtained 82.65% with good category. The result of learners data test obtained 92,17% with good category. The result product is a manual.  Key words: Developing, , Project based learning model.

Abstract

Abstrsct This research is purpose to analyze how model cooperative type numbered head together with learning video influence the result of education citizenship at grade V Elementary School 33 Pontianak Utara. The method used is an experiment with quasi experimental design type  nonequivalent control group design. The population and sample of this research are  all students at grade V Elementary School 33 Pontianak Utara, consist of two classes with totaling 56 students. The result of analyze average posttest control class and experimental is 71,28 and 80,07. Obtained  tcount (4.484) and ttable (2,006), because of  tcount> ttable, so Ha was accepted. Based on calculation of effect size obtained Δ = 0.84, with the high criteria. In conclusion research is model cooperative type numbere head together with learning video give high impact on the result of education citizenship at grade V in Elementary School 33 Pontianak Utara.  Keywords: Numbered Head Together, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to analysis the effect of applying the model cooperative type course riview horay  in students’ social science learning achievement on year-4 of Elementary School 56 Pontianak Barat. The method this research is experiment with the research form of quasi experimental design, with nonequivalent control gruop design. The population of this research was all of Year-4 students of Elementary School 56 Pontianak Barat. The sampel of this research specified with technique purposive sampling consist of 33 students in class IV B as control class and 33 students in class IVC as experiment class. The researcher collected the data by  the measurement technique in using paper test have multiple choice form numbering 50 question. Based on count obtained an average of achievement post-test control class 61,18 and the average of achievement post-test  experimental class 71,00 thus obtained tcount  post-test data of  4,741 with ttable for α =5% and df = 64 that mean 1,998, there were tcount > ttable so Ha was accepted. The effect size was categorized as medium effect since the ES value was 0,62. In conclusions, the effect of applying the model cooperative type course riview horay model is significant and effective for students’ social science learning achievement on year-4 of Elementary School 56 Pontianak Barat. Key words: The effect, cooperative type course riview horay, achievement, social science.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of implementation predict observe explain technique on natural science learning to science process skills of 4th grade students of Pontianak Kota 66 Public Elemantary School. This research use experimental method, research form pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design type. The sampling technique use purposive sampling type totaling 30 students. Data collection techniques use direct observation and measurement techniques. The research instrument used was a objective test with multiple choice form. Based on data analysis result, average pre-test and post-test score were 67,83 and 74,57. Result of t-test obtained tcount = 5,18 and ttable =2,031 (α = 5%; db = 29). Because tcount (5,18) > ttable (2,031), its mean Ha accepted and H0 rejected. The effect size result is 0,72 with high criteria. The conclusion in this study is that there is the effect of implementation predict observe explain technique on natural science learning to science process skills of 4th grade students of Pontianak Kota 66 Public Elemantary School with high criteria. Keyword : The Effect, Predict Observe Explain Technique, Science Process Skills, Natural Science Learning

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of the study is describe the model of planting as well as obstacles in cultivating the value of politeness, honesty and responsibility using the model Tadzkirah. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Research subjects are SD Islam Terpadu Al Mumtaz dan SD Islam Al-Azhar 21 Pontianak. The data source in this research is 2 class teachers and 55 students of class III. Collection techniques used are: observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis is collecting data, reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. Triangulation used source triangulation and method triangulation. The results show that the cultivation of courtesy, honesty, and responsibility values used Tadzkirah model by give exemplary to the learners in all respects, guidance of behaving morally, motivating, getting to say hello and telling the truth, repeating prayers and good habits such as proper prayer time, organizing a sense of patience, and to touch the hearts of learners by providing genuine affection. Obstacles in the value of parental support to participate in habituating the sense of responsibility of learners need to be improved, given that most families of learners are upper economic. The conclusion of this research is that the cultivation of courtesy, honesty, and responsibility values in both schools is well-run and directed. Key words: decency, honesty, responsibility, Tadzkirah model.

Abstract

 AbstractThis research aimed to determine how far the influence of the use of problem based learning model on comprehending the Natural Science concept at fifth grade students. The method of this reserch was an experimental research. Nonequivalent Control Group was used on this research. Sample of this research were 76 students, consisted of 35 male students and 32 female students. Measurement technique was used in collecting the data. The tool of data collecting was in a written test form which consists of 40 questions. The data were colledted by calculating the average of the pretest and posttest result. Based on the result calculation, it was found out that the average score of the control class was  61.4 and the average score of experimental class was 68.46 which hypothesis test using showed the t-test was 3.80 and t-table (α = 5%) was 1.67, it meant that t­_test (3.80) > t_table (1.67). It indicated that the altirnative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted which showed the Effect Size (ES) of the treatment was 0.6. It was categorized as medium. The result finding showed the use of problem based- learning model gave moderate effect on comprehending the natural science concept at fifth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pontianak Selatan.Keywords: Influence, Problem Based Learning Model, Science Conceft

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of the using Project Based Learning models on the results of learning science class V students of State Elementary School 72 West Pontianak. The method used is the experimental method. This research, using Quasi Experimental design with form Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students in class V of State Elementary School 72 West Pontianak. The technique used in sample selection is simple random sampling, based on this the sample in this study is the class V B (experimental class) with the number of students namely 32 students. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques and measurement techniques. Data collection tools  used are observation sheets and test questions. Based on the data analysis, the result of average post-test of experimental class is 76,25 and post-test of control class is 68,13, tcount 2,752 and ttable(α = 5% and dk = 32 + 32 - 2 = 62) of 1,994, because tcount>ttable, then Ha accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is the effect of the using Project Based Learning models on the results of learning. The effect size calculation obtained ES = 0,72 which is classified as medium, that is 0,2 < ES < 0,8. It can be said that project based learning model gives a considerable influence on the results of learning Science students class V of State Elementary School 72 West Pontianak. Keywords: Project Based Learning, Student Learning Result, Natural Science.

Abstract

The goal of this research is learning about : 1) identify rubber farmers’ profile in Kecamatan Gunung Toar, 2) study about auction system of rubber marketing in Kecamatan Gunung Toar, 3) analyze cost, marketing margin and profif jn auction system of marketing in Kecamatan Gunung Toar. This research in Kecamatan Gunung Toar with 39 rubber farmers is using survey method. This analysis is using descriptive analysis. The result of this research shows that rubber farmers’ profile who use auction system of marketing are 79.90 % of men with productive age number that is 71.70%, average education of farmers is high school with 51.20%, number of family dependents are within 0 to 3 with 89.70%, the extensive land holdings of farmers is dominant in higher than 2 hectares with 56.40% and the status of own land is 100% and also experience period of  farmers’ farming is 16 to 20 years with 53.80%. The result in auction system of rubber is market that held in every Monday 10:00 to 20:00 o’clock, start with latex collecting until giving money to farmers. The result in cost, margin, and the profit in auction system of rubber marketing to farmers’ margin is 1.200 in average, farmers’ cost is 759,35 in average and wholesalersprofit is 400,00 in average, they are all in kilogram and month calculation.Keyword : auction marketing, rubber, farmer

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana peranan tokoh adat Kulisusu, dalam perkawinan pinang di Desa Waode Buri Kecamatan Kulisusu Utara Kabupaten Buton Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif yang hanya mengambarkan keadaan objek dengan analisis kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 orang , 2 orang tokoh adat, 2 orang tokoh agama dan 1 orang kepala kantor urusan agama yang berada dilokasi studi. Teknik pokok pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa peranan tokoh adat yang terdiri dari toko adat mediator, dinamisator dan stabilisator. Pada saat perkawinan pinang adat Kulisusu sangat menentukan keterlaksanaan kegiatan yang akan dilakukan dalam perkawinan, artinya peranan toko adat dalam perkawinan pinang akan menentukan kesuksesaan kegiatan Perkawinan pinang tersebut.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIPA adalah disiplin ilmu yang meneliti fenomena-fenomena alam yang terkadang kompleks sehingga pengajarannya harus dilakukan dengan alat yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa dalam memahami kekom-pleksan tersebut. Salah satu alat untuk memandu pengajaran IPA adalah Komponen Instrumen Terpadu (KIT). Penelitian ini menyelidiki keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan praktikum dengan menggunakan KIT IPA. Sampel adalah 30 orang guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Kota Pontianak. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan angket yang disusun berdasarkan berbagai aspek keterampilan dalam melaksanakan praktikum. Secara keseluruhan, keterampilan guru berdasarkan angket adalah 72% sehingga dikategorikan sebagai Baik, sedangkan hasil observasi langsung kegiatan praktikum menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan praktikum dengan menggunakan KIT IPA adalah 64% atau dikategorikan dalam kategori Cukup. Aspek yang memperoleh skor paling tinggi dari hasil angket maupun hasil observasi adalah aspek sikap. ABSTRACTScience is a body of knowledge that investigates natural phenomena which are sometimes complex, thus teaching science requires tools that can facilitate students in understanding that complexity. Tool to guide science teaching is science kit (KIT). This study investigated teachers’ skills in conducting laboratory works by using KIT. Samples were 30 elementary schools teachers in Pontianak. The instrument used was observation sheets and questionnaires in which it was composed based on various aspects in conducting laboratory works. Based on questionnaire, teachers’ overall skill in conducting laboratory works was 72% in which it was categorized as Good, whereas based on actual laboratory works observation, teachers’ overall skill in conducting laboratory works was 64%, in which it was categorized as Sufficient. Aspect receiving the highest score from questionnaire and observation was attitude.
