Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of students’ learning outcomes using experiment method in learning science.The method of this research is descriptive in form of classroom action research. The subject of this research is teacher and fourth grade students that is thirteen students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 10 Senangak Kabupaten Bengkayang.Technique of data collecting is direct observation and document analysis. Technique of data analysis is by calculating the mean and percentage. This research is done in three cycles with the result: (1) teacher’s ability on planning is 3.35 in the first cycle, 3.61 in the second cycle, and 3.84 in the third cycle; (2) teacher’s ability on implementing is 2.95 in the first cycle, 3.56 in the second cycle, and 3.82 in the third cycle; (3) the students’ learning outcomes is 48,46 with 38.46% students who passed the test in the first cycle, 57.69 with 61.54% students who passed the test in the second cycle, and 62.30 with 69.23% students who passed the test in third cycle. In conclusion, using experiment method in learning science  can improve students’ learning outcomes. Keywords: Experiment Method, Learning Outcomes, Science

Abstract

AbstrakThe research problem is to improve student learning outcomes in learning social sciences using scramble models of class IV elementary school state 06 samalantan bengkayang. Research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of scramble models. The method used in this study is a descriptive method in the form of Classroom Action Research, which is collaborative. Data collection techniques used are direct observation and measurement techniques by collecting data, namely Student Worksheets with the subject of Teacher / Researcher and fourth grade students totaling 20 students. The results of the III cycle obtained were: 1) The ability of the teacher to plan the learning model of scramble had an average increase of 0.42 with an average score of 3.43.2) The ability of the teacher to carry out the learning model of learning experienced an average increase of 0.50 with an average rating of 3.27. 3) The student learning outcomes of the student model experience an increase in the magnitude of 9.82 with an average value of 64.53.Conclusion: using a scramble model in learning science can improve student learning outcomes Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Scramble Model, Social Sciences.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is for increase ability student read. Poetry with use modeling on student in class III school basic contry 21 Rantau Sibaju district Bengkayang. This research use approach qualitative, method that used descriptive with form research action class (RAC) and is collaborative. The place research held in school basic contry 21 Rantau Sibaju City Singkawang class III that number22 student with subject research teacher and student class III. Teachnique data collector that used that is teachnique observation and teachnique scrutiny document with tool. Collector data that is instrument sheet assessment ability teacher plan learning, instrument sheet asessment ability teacher doing learning and document results learning student in the form of sheet asessment read poetry. The research do for 2 cycle with 2 meeting on every the cycle. Asessment resuts planning, implementation, learning from cycle i 3,00 and 3,08 increase as big as 0,08 and cycle II that is 3,50 and 3,80 increase as big as 0,3. Asessment results implementation learning from cycle I 3,00 and 3,18 increace as big as 0,18 and cycle II that is 3,45 and 3,72 increase as big as  0,27. Asessment results  read poetry from cycle I that is 62,63% only there is 10  person that complete while on cycle II 74,24% only stay 2 student that no complete. Based on  data that obtained could concluded happen enhancement on every cycle. With thereby,  research  use modelling with read poetry class III school basic country 21 Rantau Sibaju Kabupaten Bengkayang could increase skill student read poetry.   Keywords: Enhancement, Read Poetry , Learning Contexstual Component Modeling.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of implemantation inquiry model  on nature science learning outcomes of students in 5th grade of 36 Pontianak Kota public elementary school. The Method which used in this research is experiment with a quasi experimental form and nonequivalent control group design. The Population in this research  are all students in fifth grade of 36 Pontianak Kota public elementary school that totaling 49 students. The sampling technique in research using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling type. Data collection technique which used are direct observation and measurement  techniques. The research instrument used was a written test with multiple choice form. The result of the data analyze, obtained an average post-test in experimental class obtained at 64,886 while the control class is 56,190. The result of t test obtained tcount (2,132) > ttabel (2,020), its mean Ha accepted and H0 is rejecte. The effect size result is 0,470 with medium criteria.  The conclusion in this study is there is the effect of implementation inquiry model on natural science learning outcomes of 5th grade students of 36 Pontianak Kota public elementary school with medium criteria.. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to test the average of learning outcomes of students who are taught and without being taught by using guided discovery learning model, whether or not influence influence the use of guided discovery learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject of Natural Science in Class IV Primary School Negeri 26 Pontianak Tenggara. The research method used is experimental with the form of quantitative research. The sample of this research is the students of class IV A and IV B Primary School 26 Pontianak Southeast. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques and measurement techniques. Data collection tool used is the test of student learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice amounted to 40 questions. Based on the result of the research, the average of students' learning outcomes in the control class is 73,67. While the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class of 80.94. The result of hypothesis test (t-test) using t-test separated variance obtained tcount 4,6379 and ttable (α = 5% and dk = 47) equal to 1.67945 indicate that tcount is bigger than ttable then Ha is accepted. This means that there are differences in learning outcomes between students taught by using guided discovery learning models with students taught without using guided discovery learning models. From the calculation effect size (ES), obtained 0.93 (high criteria). The guided discovery learning model gives a high influence on the students' learning outcomes in the Natural Science lesson in the fourth grade of Public Primary School 26 Pontianak Tenggara. Keywords: Learning Guided Learning Model, student learning outcomes, natural science.

Abstract

AbstractAbstract: This study aimed to describe the learning outcome 'knowledge of natural sciences using sorrounding environment fourth grade students of SDN 01 Pontianak Selatan.Metode study is a descriptive form of classroom action research, and collaborative. Data collection techniques used are direct observation and measurement techniques and data collection tool using the observation sheet and booklet. Data analysis technique used is using the calculation formula - average. This research was conducted for 4 cycle.es, with the result of 1) the ability of teachers plan learning, which is as follows in the first cycle of 2.36, in the second cycle of 2.68,  in third cycle of 3.13 and the fourth cycle  of 3.63.  2) The ability of teachers to implement learning, which is as follows in the first cycle of 2.23, in the scond cycle 2.74, in the third 3.20 , and the fourth cycle of 3.55. 3) Results of learning, which is as follows, 52.4. in the first cycle, 80.86 in the second cycle, 87.5 in the third cycle and 90.96 in the fourth cycle. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the presence or absence of differences in the average student learning outcomes in learning mathematics by using learning theory Bruner and Van Hiele in class III Pontianak City Elementary School 03. The method used is an experimental method. In this study, using Quasi Experimental Design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design form. The population in this study were all third grade students of Public Elementary School 03 Pontianak City, while the sample was obtained through drawing in all class III. Based on the results of the draw, obtained a sample of research namely class III A (experimental class 1) and III B (experimental class 2) totaling 64 students. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and data collection tools are multiple choice written tests. Based on data analysis, the average post-test results of experimental class 1 were 75.71 and the average post-test experimental class 2 was 69.17. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained t count = 2.161 while for dk (31 + 33 - 2 = 62) with a significant level α = 5% obtained t table = 1.667, which means thitung> t table, then Ha is accepted, this prove there is a significant difference between student learning outcomes in learning mathematics by applying Bruner's learning theory and Van Hiele's in class III Pontianak City Elementary School 03.  Keywords: Comparation, Van Hiele's Learning Theory, Bruner's Learning Theory,                   Mathematics Learning, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to analysis the effect of problem solving method in students? social science learning achievement on year-4 of Elementary School 56 Pontianak Barat. The method this research is experiment with the research form of quasi experimental design, with nonequivalent control gruop design. The population of this research was all of Year-4 students of Elementary School 56 Pontianak Barat. The sampel of this research specified with technique purposive sampling consist of 32 students in class IVA as control class and 30 students in class IVC as experiment class. The researcher collected the data by  the measurement technique in using paper test have multiple choice form numbering 50 question. Based on count obtained an average of achievement post-test control class 59,69 and the average of achievement post-test  experimental class 68,50 thus obtained tcount  post-test data of 3.440 with ttable for ? =5% and df = 60 that mean 2,000, there were tcount > ttable so Ha was accepted. The effect size was categorized as medium effect since the ES value was 0,61. In conclusions, the effect of problem solving method is significant and effective for students? social science learning achievement on year-4 of Elementary School 56 Pontianak Barat. Key words: The effect, problem solving, achievement, social science.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja penyuluh pertanian PNS di Kota Dumai dan Kabupaten Siak.Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling). Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survey. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan metode sensus kepada seluruh populasi penyuluh pertanian PNS yang memiliki wilayah kerja berupa kelurahan atau kecamatan yang ada di Dinas Pertanian, perkebunan, dan kehutanan Kota Dumai dan Unit pelaksana teknis badan penyuluh pertanian Kabupaten Siak. Responden penelitian 56 orang. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan terdiri atas data primer dan sekunder, data kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa kuesioner yang berisi pertanyaan dan pernyataan yang terkait dengan variabel penelitian. Taraf signifikansi penelitian adalah 5% (α=0,05). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari variabel kompetensi yang mempunyai pengaruh sangat signifikan adalah kompetensi menyusun rencana kerja tahunan penyuluh pertanian, kompetensi melaksanakan desiminasi/ penyebaran materi penyuluhan. Variabel yang mempunyai pengaruh signifikan yaitu kompetensi merencanakan, menganalisis, dan melaksanakan metoda penyuluhan pertanian;  kompetensi melakukan evaluasi pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dampak penyuluhan pertanian, kompetensi menyusun laporan penyuluhan pertanian.

Abstract

Provinsi Riau merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang membuat program sentra produksi beras dalam menjaga ketersediaan pangan nasional, hal ini dilakukan karena dari tahun 2008-2012 mengalami defisit beras yang rata-rata hampir 248.315 ton setiap tahunnya. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan beras regional Provinsi Riau sangat bergantung pasokan beras dari luar daerah seperti Sumatera Barat dan Sumatera Utara. Pada tahun 2009 Pemerintah Provinsi Riau meluncurkan program yang disebut dengan Operasi Pangan Riau Makmur (OPRM) dengan target pengurangan defisit beras pada akhir tahun 2013 sebesar 11,83 persen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi profil petani padi peserta program OPRM, menganalisis faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi produksi padi di Kabupaten Siak, dan menganalisis tingkat efisiensi teknis, efisiensi alokatif, dan efisiensi ekonomi usaha tani padi di Kabupaten Siak. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis fungsi produksi Cobbdouglas untuk menjawab tujuan pertama, fungsi produksi frontier dan fungsi ganda biaya perbatasan dengan pendekatan DEAP untuk tujuan kedua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan luas lahan, pupuk urea, pupuk organik, pestisida, kesesuaian lahan, program dan pendidikan mempengaruhi produksi secara signifikan. Sebagian besar petani peserta program OPRM dan bukan peserta program OPRM telah efisien secara teknis namun belum efisien secara alokatif dan ekonomis.
