Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui penampilan karakter agronomi galur F7 hasil persilangan Pandan Ungu/Kambang pada lahan tadah hujan dan 2) mendapatkan galur-galur yang menunjukkan penampilan karakter agronomi yang diharapkan. Percobaan dilaksanakan dari bulan Mei sampai dengan September 2019 di lahan sawah tadah hujan, Desa Karang Tunggal, Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang, Kutai Kartanegara. Percobaan galur F7 hasil persilangan Pandan Ungu/Kambang disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan tiga ulangan menggunakan 10 galur F7 hasil persilangan Pandan Ungu/Kambang. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan total, jumlah anakan produktif, panjang malai, jumlah gabah per malai, jumlah gabah hampa, berat 1.000 butir, berat ubinan, dan potensi hasil. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam, dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil pada taraf 5%. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa penampilan karakter agronomi galur-galur F7 hasil persilangan Pandan Ungu/Kambang berbeda nyata terhadap semua variabel yang diamati. Penampilan karakter agronomi galur-galur F7 memiliki tinggi tanaman tergolong pendek sampai tinggi, jumlah anakan produktif tergolong sedikit sampai banyak, panjang malai tergolong sedang sampai panjang, dan berat 1.000 butir tergolong sedang sampai berat. Galur dengan berat ubinan dan potensi hasil tertinggi serta berbeda nyata dengan Ciherang (pembanding) adalah PUK 68, berturut-turut 3,90 kg dan 6.235,73 kg ha-1 . Didapatkan lima galur harapan F8, yaitu PUK 60, PUK 68, PUK 162, PUK 169, dan PUK 193

Abstract

The footbridge in Gang Gusti Galuh is a construction built for the needs of local pedestrian traffic, over time the footbridge collapsed. The collapse of the Concrete Footbridge Construction in Gang Gusti Galuh in early 2024 between January-February has added to the series of concrete construction failures in Indonesia, especially in South Kalimantan.The collapse of this bridge was due to inadequate foundation support and the influence of inhomogeneous soil. The purpose of this design is to determine the cause of the collapse and analyze what forces occur in the construction and its new design that is safe to use. The results of this evaluation indicate that the existing condition of the bridge with a wooden foundation is not safe to use and will be replaced with a new foundation using concrete piles to be more adequate and safe to use. Keywords: Construction, Footbridge, Redesign

Abstract

The bearing capacity of a foundation is influenced by the diameter and straightness of the pile because the bearing capacity is highly dependent on the resistance of the pile tip and the resistance of the pile cover and the shape of the pile affects the strength of the foundation. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the value of the bearing capacity of the pile foundation on the cross-sectional area and the effect of pile misalignment.The method used in this study is the descriptive analysis method. Data were collected from laboratory tests with a comparison of the field scale. The manufacture of pile test specimens with each variation was 10%, 25%, 50%, and 75%.From the test results, the variation in the cross-sectional area affected the bearing capacity value which increased as the variation in the cross-sectional area increased. As for the test results, the variation in the straightness of the pile affected the bearing capacity value which decreased as the variation in the pile misalignment increased.Keywords:bearing capacity, cross-sectional area, straightness, clay soil, laboratory tests, piles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial usaha ternak kambing di Kota Bontang, Kalimantan Timur. Usaha peternakan kambing memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat serta menyediakan sumber protein hewani. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menghitung biaya produksi, penerimaan, pendapatan bersih, serta indikator finansial seperti Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C), Payback Period (PP), dan Return on Investment (ROI). Hasil analisis menunjukkan total biaya produksi sebesar Rp1.058.374.000 dan total penerimaan sebesar Rp1.434.424.000 per tahun, menghasilkan pendapatan bersih sebesar Rp376.050.000. Nilai R/C sebesar 1,36 menunjukkan usaha ini layak secara finansial, dengan Payback Period selama 1,04 tahun dan ROI sebesar 0,97%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha peternakan kambing di Kota Bontang cukup menguntungkan dan memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan manajemen biaya yang efisien dan strategi diversifikasi produk

Abstract

One of the regional languages in Tana Luwu, especially in North Luwu Regency, is the Limola language. Limola language is a regional language used in communication by the people of Sassa Village. This research utilizes the Pinasco and Romanelli (PR) model to analyze the vitality of the Limola language. The language's sustainability is assessed through a questionnaire with vitality indicators based on UNESCO. Meanwhile, birth and death rates are derived from statistical data from North Luwu. This research found that the model used can explain the possibility of using the Limola language by taking into the carrying capacity and average birth and death rates of users of the Limola language. There are three conditions found. The third condition, despite the birth and death rates of Limola language users being higher than those of people using other languages, the usage of the Limola language still decreases. This is because the language used to communicate as a child as an indicator of the carrying capacity of the Limola language, is very small. In addition, five out of the nine vitality indicators formulated by UNESCO are endangered, posing a threat to the survival of the Limola language

Abstract

Community Information Group (KIM) or other similar groups are groups formed by, from, for the community independently and creatively whose activities are managing information and empowering the community in order to increase added value. This study aims to see how the Community Information Community (KIM) of Media Pahari Dipah, Mentaya Seberang Village, Seranau District, East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan, is able to play a role as a model of community participation in information disclosure for the community at the Seranau District level. So that the community plays an active role, cares, is sensitive and understands information, can choose and sort the information needed and two-way communication media between the community and the community and the community with the government, through print media, electronic media and social media. Then receive, filter and detect information circulating in the community, by utilizing the Community Information Community (KIM) of Mentaya Seberang Village, as a medium for information in digital information transactions. The approach in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This study shows that it has succeeded in finding 4 main stages of answers to the Community Information Community Strategy (KIM) of Pahari Dipah Media, Mentaya Seberang Village, Seranau District, namely for the KIM chairman and members to always be active and not passive in publishing the existence of KIM in the Seranau District area, to continue to coordinate with the Village, District and related Offices, in terms of minimal budget in KIM management, it can be done independently either with fellow KIM administrators, always trying to utilize digital services created by the Communication and Informatics Office of East Kotawaringin Regency in the form of an official address account kotimkab.go.id. As a means of disseminating information to the community in Seranau District.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dimana peneliti menelaah, menengevaluasi dan menguraikan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya yang relevan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan inovatif dapat menambah minat belajar siswa di bidang studi matematika dan keterampilan menghitung nya. Media pembelajaran video animasi dapat digunakan sebagai inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Salah satu aplikasi media pembelajaran animasi yang mudah digunakan.

Abstract

This research discusses the shift of the Tae' language through a case study of language attitudes and language usage in the city of Palopo, South Sulawesi. The Tae' language, as the identity of the Luwu people, in this case, the city of Palopo, is rarely used as the daily communication language of the people of Palopo. The use of the language in the family environment, which should be the closest domain to the regional language, has also been replaced. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. This study uses the instrument Cohn et al. (2013) in the form of scoring and social factors that can contribute to attitudes. Data analysis of language attitude employing the concepts of Garvin and Mathiot which encompass characteristics such as language loyalty, language pride, and awareness of linguistic norms. Based on the analysis of the data, the researcher found that the Tae' language as the regional language of the people of Palopo or Luwu has experienced a shift. The people in the city of Palopo have a positive attitude towards the Tae' language, but its usage is still minimal, even within the family domain. The Indonesian language dominates the language usage among the people. The positive language attitude does not align with the positive language usage, and it can even be negative in its usage.

Abstract

This study discusses the vitality of the Tae’ language in Palopo city, South Sulawesi. Vitality of Tae’ language can be seen both from its use as a language of daily communication, the number of speakers, documentation, government policies  related  to  the language, and the inclusion of the language in the school curriculum. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, in  which  interviews  and  observations  were employed. The subjects interviewed were government officials in Palopo city, as well as the people of Palopo. Findings reveal that the vitality of the Tae language in Palopo is vulnerable to extinction. This is characterized by two main indicators: i) very low use of Tae’ language even in the family domain which affects low language transmission as well ;) and the absence of  govermental  policies  in  preserving  and  maintaining  Tae’  language  as  the  identity  of  the Palopo people and the Indonesian.

Abstract

This study explores the inclusive teaching strategies employed at SLB Bandung and their impact on the communication abilities of children with Down syndrome. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative design, the research provides a detailed examination of the methods, challenges, and outcomes within the context of a special education school in Bandung, Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and document analysis to ensure a comprehensive understanding. The findings reveal that individualized instruction, visual aids, and frequent communication practice are pivotal strategies used by teachers to enhance the communication skills of children with Down syndrome. These methods align with best practices in special education and are positively received by both educators and parents. However, significant challenges remain, including limited resources, the need for specialized training, and notably, the absence of speech therapy services at the school. Classroom observations and document analysis highlight the dynamic and interactive nature of these inclusive strategies. The commitment and creativity of teachers in implementing these strategies, despite the challenges, are evident. The study concludes that while inclusive teaching strategies significantly contribute to the communication development of children with Down syndrome, addressing resource limitations and incorporating speech therapy services are essential for maximizing student outcomes. Recommendations include enhancing collaboration among educators, policymakers, and therapists to improve the quality of inclusive education and ensure equitable support for all students.
