Abstract

The current post-pandemic period has a significant impact on learning, particularly in Islamic religious education subjects. As a result, many students are less focused on attending lessons, their learning motivation and participation levels are decreasing, and their social intelligence is low because they are used to online learning, which has few face-to-face meetings. They are unable to adapt to the transition from previously online to hybrid learning methods. This study aimed to discover the Islamic religious education teachers' strategies for fostering and actualizing students' social intelligence in the post-pandemic period at MA AL-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The research method employed was qualitative field research. The data collection techniques employed were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Triangulation can be used to validate the data. The research findings revealed that in order to develop and actualize students' social intelligence, teachers employed cooperative and affective learning strategies that are implemented in four areas: methods, media, learning materials, and learning evaluation. Finally, fostering and actualizing students' social intelligence necessitates creative and innovative strategies to ensure proper development.

Abstract

Considering the increasing number of unemployed and the depletion of job vacancies, so many people are struggling with the economy. This flannel craft training aims to increase the interest in entrepreneurship of housewives in Purwosari hamlet. Flannel fabric is attracting attention and many fans among the public. This study uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This flannel craft training lasted for 1 day and was attended by 40 participants from housewives from the Purwosari hamlet. The products made are brooches and keychains made of flannel. Interest in entrepreneurship increased from 39.3% or in the category of less interest to 90.1% or in the category of very interest. With this training, it is hoped that it can be a solution to the difficulties of the family economy and can create jobs through entrepreneurship

Abstract

Long Distance Marriage (LDM) is increasingly common in the era of globalization but poses complex challenges for couples. This study explores women’s adaptive strategies, focusing on communication and parenting dynamics in the context of LDM families. Using a qualitative case study approach with seven families in Gunung Pelindung District, East Lampung, this study uncovers collaborative strategies for maintaining family harmony. The research findings show that women develop innovative approaches to maintaining emotional bonds with their spouse and children, including regular communication scheduling, flexible role allocation, self-care, community support, creatively educating children, and using technology to stay connected. It can be concluded that the success of long-distance marriages relies on effective communication, mutual support, and a shared adaptive strategy. Implications of the study include a deeper understanding of contemporary family dynamics in the context of global mobility.

Abstract

Moral education is a very important education so that moral and moral values become the basis for each individual to act wisely. The purpose of this study is to identify the value of moral education in the novel Angelique Bidadari Cinta Dua Kota Suci and to find out the implications of the value of moral education in the novel Angelique Bidadari Cinta Dua Kota Suci in learning in the modern era. The research method used in this research is classified into qualitative research, which is a type of research whose findings are not obtained through statistical procedures. This research uses library research, which is a method of collecting data by understanding and studying theories from various literatures related to the research. The approach used is hermeneutic, the primary data source used in this research is the novel angelique bidadari cinta dua kota suci secondary data taken from the Qur'an, Hadith and various other literature such as journals, articles etc. The data collection technique uses document analysis technique by collecting data from the novel Angelique Bidadari Cinta Dua Kota Suci. The data analysis technique is using content analysis, this analysis technique can help researchers understand the case under study. The results showed that there is a value of moral education in the novel Angelique Bidadari Cinta Dua Kota Suci, including: morals to God in the form of gratitude, prayer, effort, patience, tawakal, fear of God, Ikhlas. morals to others, namely, helping, forgiving each other, husnuzon, humility, alms. Morals to the universe and the implications of moral education values in the novel Angelique Bidadari Cinta Dua Kota Suci have the potential to be used as a source of reference and inspiration in learning, developed as teaching materials and as learning media, strengthening character values and increasing interest and learning outcomes by integrating moral education values from novels into learning. ABSTRAKPendidikan akhlak merupakan pendidikan yang sangat amat penting sehingga nilai moral dan akhlak menjadi dasar setiap individu bertindak secara bijaksana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam novel angelique bidadari cinta dua kota suci dan mengetahui implikasi nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam novel angelique bidadari cinta dua kota suci dalam pembelajaran PAI di era modern. Metode penelitian ini digolongkan kedalam penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi Pustaka (library research) yaitu metode pengumpulan datanya dengan memahami dan mempelajari teori-teori dari berbagai literatur yang berhubungan dengan penelitian. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu hermeneutic, sumber data primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah novel angelique bidadari cinta dua kota suci, data sekunder diambil dari Al-Qur’an, Hadist dan berbagai literatur lain seperti jurnal, artikel dll. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Teknik analisis dokumen dengan mengumpulkan data dari novel angelique bidadari cinta dua kota suci. Teknik analisis data yaitu menggunakan analisis isi, Teknik analisis ini dapat membantu peneliti memahami tentang kasus yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam novel angelique bidadari cinta dua kota suci, diantaranya: akhlak kepada Allah berupa, bersyukur, do’a, ikhtiar, sabar, tawakal, takut kepada Allah, Iklas. akhlak kepada sesama yaitu, tolong-menolong, saling memaafkan, husnuzon, rendah hati, sedekah. Akhlak kepada alam semesta dan implikasi nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam novel angelique bidadari cinta dua kota suci memiliki potensi untuk dijadikan sumber rujukan dan inspirasi dalam didalam pembelajaran, dikembangkan sebagai bahan ajar dan sebagai media pembelajaran, penguatan nilai-nilai karakter serta meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar dengan mengintregrasikan nilai pendidikan akhlak dari novel kedalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas peran buku ajar PAI-BP Kelas XI dalam membangun harmoni intern dan ekstern umat beragama di SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode studi pustaka dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar PAI-BP telah menekankan pentingnya hidup rukun berdampingan dengan pemeluk agama lain, tetapi efektivitasnya masih bergantung pada metode pengajaran yang digunakan guru. Implementasi pembelajaran PAI-BP di SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung juga mencakup berbagai strategi, seperti pendekatan interkatif, diskusi kelompok, menggunakan media social sebagai media dakwah serta sarana edukasi toleransi dan berbagai kegiatan yang mendukung keberagaman. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan seperti kurangya pemahaman sebagian siswa terhadap konsep moderasi beragama dan pengaruh eksternal yang dapat menimbulkan intoleransi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukannya penguatan dalam metode pembelajaran dan mengembangkan kurikulum agar nilai-nilai harmoni beragama dapat dipahami dan diterapkan dengan baik oleh peserta didik.

Abstract

The utilization of digital technology has significantly transformed the way Muslims study the Qur'an. Digital Qur'an applications, online platforms, and artificial intelligence (AI) provide easier and faster access to religious texts, including Qur'anic exegesis and studies. However, concerns arise regarding the potential impact of these technologies on the depth of religious understanding, especially in preserving the spiritual and traditional aspects of Qur'anic studies. This study aims to explore the optimal use of digital technology in Qur'anic studies and examine the opportunities and challenges with a focus on digital applications. A qualitative approach was employed using library research, drawing from literature sources such as books, academic journals, articles, and relevant research reports. Findings reveal that digital technology offers numerous conveniences, such as broad, interactive, and flexible access. However, challenges like potential misuse of shallow interpretations, dependence on algorithms, and declining quality of teacher-student interactions pose significant concerns. Thus, the application of digital technology in Qur'anic studies should adopt a wise approach, adhering to the principles of Islamic scholarship and spirituality. Additionally, digital literacy and collaboration between religious scholars and technology developers are essential to ensure that digital applications and platforms genuinely support a profound and contextual understanding of the Qur'an, assisting users in filtering information from credible sources while avoiding the spread of inappropriate content.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the optimization of digital literacy as an effort to build the character of the digital generation in line with values in Islamic education. The study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data were collected from various references related to the digital generation, digital literacy, character education, and Islamic education. The findings indicate that optimizing digital literacy integrated with Islamic character education values has significant potential in cultivating the character of the digital generation to be wise and ethical in utilizing technology and digital information. The implementation of digital literacy strategies in online learning, parental supervision, and social media campaigns is key to the success of character building for the digital generation in the current all-digital era. This research is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions to educators, parents, and policymakers in building the character of the Indonesian digital generation, aiming for them to grow into a resilient and morally upright golden generation in 2045.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) learning model on students' learning outcomes in a specific subject. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a posttest-only control group design. The sample consisted of two eighth-grade classes at SMP Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung, selected through simple random sampling. The experimental class received instruction using the POE model, while the control class was taught using conventional methods. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test designed to assess learning outcomes in the cognitive domains of C3 (application) and C6 (evaluation). The test consisted of 20 items, of which 14 were valid, and had a reliability coefficient of 0.733. Data analysis using an independent samples t-test showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) value in Levene’s Test was 0.001, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, the research hypothesis was accepted, demonstrating that the use of the POE model has a significant effect on improving students’ learning outcomes. These findings suggest that innovative learning models such as POE are more effective than conventional methods in enhancing students’ higher-order thinking skills.

Abstract

The writing on liberation theology, which originally developed in the Latin American Christian tradition, has found its resonance in contemporary Islamic thought. K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid is one of the Indonesian Muslim figures who made significant contributions to the development of this discourse. This research aims to analyze the manifestation of liberation theology in Gus Dur's thought as well as identify its distinctive characteristics through the study of the book “Islamku, Islam Anda, Islam Kita” with a qualitative approach and content analysis method. The main findings of the study reveal three distinctive characteristics of Gus Dur's liberation theology: an innovative synthesis of traditional fiqh with modern social justice principles, particularly in his advocacy of minority rights; the reinterpretation of religious texts to challenge authoritarian interpretations, reflected in his defense of religious freedom and democratic values; and the development of an Indonesian model of Islamic pluralism that emphasizes grassroots empowerment. The practical significance of the findings provides a theoretical foundation for interfaith dialogue, minority protection, and democratic reform in contemporary Indonesia. The unique contribution of this research lies in documenting how Gus Dur successfully bridged the gap between Islamic traditionalism and modern progressive thought, creating an Indonesian approach to liberation theology that remains relevant to address contemporary social challenges, and providing a foundation for understanding how religious thought can be mobilized for social transformation in pluralistic societies.
