Abstract

Technological advancements have significantly impacted various aspects of life, particularly education. The Covid-19 pandemic, which lasted for over two years, further disrupted the education sector, necessitating a shift in teaching and learning practices. New policies, often referred to as the "new normal," have brought changes that allow educational activities to resume as they were before the pandemic. This study explores learning solutions during the new normal and investigates future trends focusing on blended learning integrated with the flipped classroom method. The research was conducted at FTK Raden Intan Lampung using a case study methodology with a single-case design. Data were collected through observations, documentation, and interviews centered on the implementation of the blended learning model combined with the flipped classroom approach. The findings indicate that this model encourages students to engage in active, independent learning, enhances learning satisfaction, and holds potential as a future learning trend. In conclusion, the blended learning model utilizing the flipped classroom method emerges as an effective post-pandemic learning alternative. It offers convenience, fosters enthusiasm for learning, and enhances students' problem-solving abilities throughout the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop, determine the feasibility and attractiveness of learning in the form of learning media based on mobile learning on Bani Umayyah material as an alternative learning. The type of research used is research and development with the Borg and Gall model. Product feasibility is carried out by validating material experts and media experts. Then the researchers conducted a small group attractiveness test to 10 students and a field trial by 35 students to see the students' responses. This research produces a product in the form of an SKI learning application that contains material for the Bani Umayyah chapter 1. The results show that mobile learning-based learning media is feasible with a percentage achievement of 83.4% according to material experts and 85.2% according to media experts. The results of the trial on students showed a percentage of 85.6% with very interesting criteria. So it can be concluded that mobile learning-based learning media with decent quality and attractiveness can be effectively used as alternative learning media. Therefore, more rigorous studies on the development of mobile learning principles and frameworks in various contexts are necessary for future Islamic studies.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the optimization of digital literacy as an effort to build the character of the digital generation in line with values in Islamic education. The study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data were collected from various references related to the digital generation, digital literacy, character education, and Islamic education. The findings indicate that optimizing digital literacy integrated with Islamic character education values has significant potential in cultivating the character of the digital generation to be wise and ethical in utilizing technology and digital information. The implementation of digital literacy strategies in online learning, parental supervision, and social media campaigns is key to the success of character building for the digital generation in the current all-digital era. This research is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions to educators, parents, and policymakers in building the character of the Indonesian digital generation, aiming for them to grow into a resilient and morally upright golden generation in 2045.

Abstract

The rapid pace of globalization and digital technology, coupled with the inherent social diversity in Indonesia, increases the risk of social conflict and intolerance. In this context, conventional teaching methods in religious education often fail to deeply instill the values of religious moderation needed to navigate such a complex environment. This study will investigate and describe the development of the Think Pair Share (TPS) instructional model as a strategic tool for cultivating religious moderation values among students within the subject of Faith and Moral Education (Akidah Akhlak). A descriptive qualitative approach was employed at State Islamic High School (MAN) 1 Bandar Lampung. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with teachers of Faith and Moral studies and students, followed by thematic analysis to understand the implementation and impact of the learning model. The findings indicate that the implementation of the TPS model yields significant positive outcomes. The "Think" phase allows for individual reflection, the "Pair" phase fosters collaborative dialogue, and the "Share" phase encourages respect for diverse viewpoints. This process helps students not only understand theoretical ideas but also learn and practice the basic ideas of religious moderation, like tolerance (tasamuh), balance (tawazun), and non-violence. The model creates an interactive space where students refine their communication skills and develop an appreciation for differing perspectives. This study provides a paradigm for character building and active learning in Islamic education. It offers educators a reproducible technique to shift religious education from theoretical instruction to a transforming experience that fosters social harmony and moderate religious identification.

Abstract

The crisis of academic integrity in higher education has become a serious challenge in the digital era, marked by the rise of plagiarism, data fabrication, and publications in predatory journals. This study aims to describe the implementation of academic integrity values through the Scientific Literature Review (KALIL) program organized by the PKPT IPNU-IPPNU at UIN Raden Intan Lampung, as well as to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using the case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that PKPT IPNU-IPPNU plays a significant role in instilling values of honesty and academic responsibility through KALIL activities oriented toward scientific writing training, discussions on academic ethics, and the habituation of proper citation. This program also contributes to improving students' scientific literacy and fostering a culture of academic integrity. The main supporting factors for the program's success include the high demand among students for scientific writing training and active support from advisors, while the inhibitors include fluctuating participant attendance, limited facilities, and inconsistency in scheduling. This research reaffirms that collaboration between student organizations and advisors plays a crucial role in building an honest, ethical, and sustainable academic ecosystem within the university environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas X pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi experimental design) yang melibatkan dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket keaktifan belajar peserta didik yang mencakup indikator partisipasi dalam pembelajaran, keberanian bertanya, keberanian mengemukakan pendapat, perhatian dan konsentrasi selama proses pembelajaran, serta keterlibatan dalam tugas dan diskusi kelompok. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan inferensial yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, independent samples t-test, serta perhitungan effect size menggunakan Cohen’s d. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa data keaktifan belajar peserta didik berdistribusi normal dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05. Rata-rata keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (Sig. 0,000 < 0,05). Interpretasi uji-t mengacu pada baris equal variances not assumed karena asumsi homogenitas tidak terpenuhi. Nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 2,39 menunjukkan kategori very large effect size. Dengan demikian, penerapan PBL tidak hanya signifikan secara statistik, tetapi juga memiliki pengaruh yang sangat kuat secara praktis terhadap peningkatan keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PAI.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of religious moderation values and analyze how these values foster tolerance among students of different religions at SMKN 1 Bandar Lampung. This qualitative descriptive research employed observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving school leaders, Islamic Religious Education teachers, Civics teachers, Rohis instructors, Muslim students, non-Muslim students, and extracurricular participants. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman’s model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that religious moderation values are integrated into school programs and learning practices, such as inclusive religious activities, mutual respect habituation, positive interreligious interactions, and school policies that emphasize harmony in diversity. Teachers play an active role as moderate role models and facilitators of dialogue spaces that help students understand differences positively. These findings confirm that religious moderation supports the creation of a harmonious school culture and strengthens tolerance among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran sekolah dalam membina kepribadian siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pembentukan karakter siswa melalui peran kepala sekolah, guru, dan staf tata usaha dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah berperan dalam perumusan visi misi, pengelolaan program, sumber daya, dan hubungan masyarakat. Guru berperan dalam pembelajaran, bimbingan, evaluasi, dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Staf tata usaha mendukung melalui layanan administrasi, keteladanan, dan pembiasaan disiplin. Kesimpulannya, sinergi seluruh komponen sekolah sangat menentukan keberhasilan pembinaan kepribadian siswa secara holistik serta relevan dengan penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah di Indonesia saat ini berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Considering the increasing number of unemployed and the depletion of job vacancies, so many people are struggling with the economy. This flannel craft training aims to increase the interest in entrepreneurship of housewives in Purwosari hamlet. Flannel fabric is attracting attention and many fans among the public. This study uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This flannel craft training lasted for 1 day and was attended by 40 participants from housewives from the Purwosari hamlet. The products made are brooches and keychains made of flannel. Interest in entrepreneurship increased from 39.3% or in the category of less interest to 90.1% or in the category of very interest. With this training, it is hoped that it can be a solution to the difficulties of the family economy and can create jobs through entrepreneurship

Abstract

Strengthening religious moderation has become an urgent necessity to prevent conflicts arising from radicalism and intolerance, particularly in non-formal religious education institutions such as Qur’anic Education Centers (TPQ). This community service program aims to enhance the understanding of religious moderation among Qur’an teachers who are members of the Qur’anic Education Communication Forum (FKPQ) in Bandar Lampung City, Indonesia, as an effort to instill moderation values in students from an early age. The study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach using Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and questionnaires as the primary instruments. A total of 30 TPQ teachers participated in the program through three stages: preliminary assessment (pre-test), mentoring and training sessions covering religious moderation, radicalism, intolerance, and implementation strategies, followed by evaluation (post-test). The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding, with the average score increasing from 53 in the pre-test to 95 in the post-test. These findings indicate that the religious moderation assistance program effectively strengthened teachers’ understanding, which was subsequently transferred to students to support the development of a moderate Qur’anic learner generation. This program contributes by offering an applicable PAR-based model for strengthening religious moderation in non-formal Qur’anic education settings and may serve as a reference for policymakers and educational institutions in designing systematic and sustainable grassroots-level religious moderation programs.
