Abstract

One of the Bantara University facilities is Sahid Mosque. This mosque was built as a result of a design competition in 2020. The building area is 682 m2. Construction was carried out for 1 year with a total budget is Rp. 3,989,519,570.00. the building was operated in 2022. Many building components are imported from abroad. However, in this building the Life Cycle cost (LCC) calculation has never been done. Operation and maintenance need to be taken into account in every building construction. Building maintenance is a very important activity in maintaining the condition and value of property. This activity involves a series of actions to change, update and repair building components so that they continue to function properly according to established standards. The aim of this research is to identify the LCC of mosque buildings over their 25 years services life. The calculation is carried out by describing the LCC components, namely initial costs, operational costs, maintenance, replacement, and demolition. Initial costs are obtained from design and preparation costs. Operational costs are obtained from interviews with the parties concerned. Maintenance is obtained from looking at the age of the component lines and is calculated based on the Sukoharho Regency AHSP. The results of the LCC calculation 25 years in 2022 for the Sahid Univet Mosque showed a total cost of Rp. 8.786.694.099 that: initial cost worth Rp. 5.285.031.300 (60.15%); operational costs worth Rp.1.439.754.354 (16.39%); maintenance costs worth Rp. 1.523.813.081 (17.34%); and replacement costs amounting to Rp. 538.095.364 (6.12%).

Abstract

The south Pacitan district's coastal area in Indonesia has become a tourist place because of the more beach with captivating coral. However, that area's natural resources have not altered the function of construction material. Many research uses the coral reef to admixture concrete material in other countries that affect compressive strength. In this research, the coral reef from Pacitan modified the original dimension of fine aggregate for material substitute o to become the coral sand of fine aggregate with the different material characteristics from other coastal areas. The sample variation was created into four categories, and five samples in every category were concrete without coral sand or 0% coral sand content, 75% with coral sand, 85% with coral sand, and 90% with coral sand. All samples were tested when the concrete age was achieved 28 days after immersing for 14 days, so the concrete was in the maximum setting time condition. The result shows that the percentage effectiveness of coral sand content is 75% as fine aggregate substitution by increasing the compressive is 15.24%, however higher coral sand content causes the decrease until 27.12% to concrete without coral sand, this result can effect by the material characteristic of coral sand when changing the dimension

Abstract

Tectonic earthquakes are a type of earthquake that can cause significant damage compared to other earthquakes. These tectonic earthquakes often occur in Indonesia, considering that geographically Indonesia is located between active earth plates. So that in earthquake-prone areas it is necessary to plan earthquake-resistant building structures, this is done so that if an earthquake occurs the building does not suffer significant damage. The dynamic response spectrum analysis method produces the base shear and displacement of the structure. The response spectrum is a spectral plot presented as a plot or graph between periods of oscillation of a T-structure, as a function of the maximum response to a certain attenuation rate and seismic load. This study aims to determine a structural response with 3D modeling on a hospital structure in the city of Solo. The study was conducted to determine the effect of the earthquake on the performance of the structure which was analyzed with reference to the regulations of SNI 03-1726-2012 and SNI 03-1726-2019. The modeled building consists of floor slabs, beams and columns, each of which is structurally load refers to the regulations of SNI 1726-2012 and SNI 03-1726-2019 as a comparison which one is more effective. The results obtained from the use of SNI 03-1726-2012 on building structures have better safety performance when compared to analysis with SNI 03-1726-2019.

Abstract

Earthquake-resistant structures are vital to achieving sustainable buildings as they minimize damage during seismic events and allow for easier repairs. In contrast, non-engineered buildings (NEBs) often suffer severe damage, contributing to waste that burdens the environment. Many residential buildings in Indonesia fall into this NEB category, so evaluating the extent of damage during earthquakes is essential. This study analyzed the seismic response of NEB using Incremental Dynamic Analysis (IDA). The dynamic pushover curves derived from the IDA were further examined to identify the damage limit states pertinent to NEB, considering the randomness of the ground motions. The proposed damage limit states, categorized into various levels (DS1-DS4) and their corresponding uncertainties due to random ground motions, highlight the vulnerability of NEBs to seismic events. The high probability of damage to NEBs makes stakeholders aware of the need to take measures to improve the resilience and, ultimately, the sustainability of residential buildings.

Abstract

Abstract

Project risk is an uncertain situation in a project so that it can lead to consequences that can hinder the achievement of the main project objectives. Risks to the project need to be identified and analyzed in order for the project to run well. The Hidayatul Qur'an Lissa'adah Islamic Boarding School construction project is a self-managed construction project that experienced delays in its implementation time based on the results of observations and preliminary interviews with the development committee. With risk management aims to identify and reduce the risks that occur in the implementation of the Hidayatul Qur'an Lissa'adah Islamic Boarding School construction project so that the project can be completed immediately. Project delays cannot be separated from the existence of several risks that cannot be avoided, but can be minimized by risk management. In this study, identification with the Cochran q-test was carried out on the risks to determine the risks that greatly affect delays in the project, then carried out an analysis of the risks that occurred with the saverity index and then carried out appropriate mitigation actions against these risks, so that the project could be completed immediately. Based on tests and calculations using the Cochran q-test and saverity index. The results obtained through this study are that there are 4 dominant risks in the medium and high categories, namely the risk of incorrect or incomplete design (11.39%), the risk of cash flow congestion (11.39%), the risk of problematic service providers (20.25 %) and the risk of the covid pandemic outbreak (31.64%).

Abstract

Concrete is the main component of construction materials in Indonesia. Concrete composition materials consist of cement, sand, gravel, and water. Cement production in Indonesia in fact often causes polemic in the community. The community often complains of environmental pollution resulting in the cement production process. Shellfish from various mollusks like that are available abundantly along the coastal areas in Indonesia. Blood clam (Anadara granosa) is one of the many shells found in Indonesian waters and is consumed by many people because of its high protein content. Shells are part of the clam that cannot be consumed so they only accumulate into household waste. Seashell waste can be an environmental problem if not handled properly. The conch shell contains lime, silicate and alumina. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the Anadara granosa shell as a substitute for a portion of cement in the manufacture of normal concrete. Stages of research conducted in the form of making normal concrete without any added material, making concrete with Anadara granosa shell as a partial replacement for cement, and testing the compressive strength of normal concrete samples. The optimum level of Anadara granosa shell waste as a substitute material for a portion of normal mixed concrete cement is 3% of the weight of cement used. The optimum compressive strength of concrete with Blood Shells waste as a substitute for some cement is at 30.62 MPa. The effect of Anadara granosa shell as a partial cement substitute in making normal concrete can reduce the compressive strength along with the addition of Anadara granosa shell as a partial cement substitute. Keywords: blood shells, cement, compressive strength, concrete
