Abstract

This study aims to improve the  activity and student  learning outcomes in science lessons class V Sd Private Sabilina Tembung Scientific approach. This research is action research (PTK). The samples in this study were 40 third-grade students for every cycle I and II. The results of the data analysis proved that an increase in activity and student learning outcomes. An increase in activity and student learning outcomes very well. The percentage gain scores for student activities at the beginning of the test trials was 30.00%. later  in Cycle  I obtained  an average percentage score of 68.49%, for the  results obtained  in Cycle  I  study an average percentage of 82.50% completeness. later in Cycle II obtained an average percentage of 91.68% of student activity, and to learn the results obtained by an average of 92.65% completeness. Based on observations of the activities of teachers, students, teachers opinion, student responses and student learning outcomes that include classical mastery and purpose, then the Application of Scientific could be declared effective approach to teaching science.

Abstract

Karena adanya penyebaran Covid-19 terjadi perubahan mendasar dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran kimia. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang mulanya secara konvensional dan praktek di laboratorium beralih ke pembelajaran berbasis online. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran online yaitu Zoom Cloud. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi zoom pada pembelajaran kimia secara daring di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa pendidikan kimia dengan domisili wilayah aceh sebanyak 85 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data ialah dengan pengisian angket menggunakan google form. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Zoom pada pembelajaran kimia secara online di masa pandemi Covid-19 cukup efektif dengan persentase 74,66 % aspek kepuasan, 73,17% aspek komuniksi dan 70,66% aspek kepuasan dalam kategori baik. Secara umum efektifitas penggunaan aplikasi zoom pada pembelajaran kimia secara daring di masa pandemi Covid-19 sudah sangat baik, mahasiswa sering menggunakan aplikasi zoom, aplikasi Zoom sangat efektif dalam berkomunikasi dan aplikasi zoom cukup mudah digunakan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengembangan modul makromolekul berbasis proyek dengan pendekatan SETS dan mengetahui kelayakan modul makromolekul berbasis proyek dengan Pendekatan SETS. Modul ini menerapkan kurikulum 2013 revisi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) yang merujuk pada pengembangan ADDIE. Tahapan penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perancangan dan pengembangan. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan guru kimia di sekolah. Modul dirancang sesuai dengan silabus dan kurikulum yang diterapkan sekolah. Modul yang dikembangkan selanjutnya divalidasi oleh validator ahli dengan menggunakan angket sebagai instrumen untuk menentukan kelayakan modul. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul markromolekul berbasis proyek dengan pendekatan SETS memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 4.37 berada dalam kategori sangat layak atau sangat valid, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar perserta didik. Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of oil quality that is used repeatedly by frying chicken with the SNI. Bulk oil is used for frying the chicken with 11 frying repetitions. Repetition of oil before frying, repeat 1 time frying up to 10 frying times. Then the oil is tested for water content, Free Fatty Acid (FFA), peroxide value and iodine value. From this study, the quality of cooking oil was obtained for the range of: water content 0.03- 1.04%(w/w), Free Fatty Acids (FFA) 0.39-1.01%(w/w), peroxide value 5,99-18,465 mekO2/kg, iodine value 3.255-3.55 gI2/100g oil. Based on the various tests, the water content up to the oil from frying 3, Free Fatty Acid to oil from frying 3, the peroxide value to frying oil 4 still meets the SNI 01-3741-2013 oil quality standard. And in the iodine value test, all repeated frying results still meet the SNI 01-3741-2013 oil quality standard.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan pedoman dan kit praktikum kimia berbasis PBL dan efek penggunaan pedoman serta kit praktikum kimia terhadap hasil belajar kognitif, sikap, dan keterampilan siswa kelas X SMA/MA. Desain penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE dan implementasi menggunakan desain one shot case study.  Sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen berupa lembar uji kelayakan pedoman dan kit praktikum, tes, lembar observasi keterampilan dan sikap. Pedoman dan kit praktikum dinyatakan layak berdasarkan isi, bahasa, kegrafikan dan penyajian. Pedoman dan kit praktikum kimia kelas X semester genap efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif, sikap dan keterampilan siswa rata-rata masing-masing 81,82, 81,56 dan 81,59 lebih tinggi dari pada nilai KKM yaitu 75,00.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain chemistry-based teaching materials for scientific literacy on buffer solution materials that meet BSNP criteria, and to the extent able to improve the chemistry learning outcomes of high school students. This type of research is the development of ADDIE research model carried out in class XI MIA SMA Parulian 1 Medan. The instruments used were test and non-test instruments that had fulfilled validity. The study was conducted in 2 stages, namely the manufacturing phase of teaching materials based on scientific literacy and the limited trial phase. The results of the study are (1), it has been obtained teaching materials Buffer Solution based on science literacy that meet BSNP standards namely content eligibility = 3.51, presentation eligibility = 3.49, Language eligibility = 3.64, and feasibility of graphic = 3.69. (2), the results of limited trials in learning indicate that the average value of student learning outcomes in experimental class I was 83.10 higher than experimental class II of 75.24. (3), the results of limited trials in learning showed that the average student interest in the experimental class I was 79.33 higher than in the experimental class II which was 69.45.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know the feasibility and student learning outcomes of chemistry learning media based on android. This research is a type of research and development which is adapted from the ADDIE Analysis, Design, Development Implementation model. The media developed was tested on 30 students of class XI IPA RK Serdang Murni Lubuk Pakam Private High School. The data was collected through the expert validation sheet of student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of the research and the development concluded that: (1) Android-based chemistry learning media for class XI IPA students in this thermochemical material was developed with a 4D model and designed in the form of an application in the form of an android studio with the java programming language. (2) Android-based chemistry learning media for class XI Senior high school’s students have been declared eligible (valid) to be used in thermochemical learning. Eligibility (validity) of Android-based chemistry learning media for high school students of class XI, is found qualitatively based on the evaluation of material expert validators and media experts in terms of the feasibility of content, presentation, language and graphics according to BSNP with a mean of 4.04. (3) Based on the learning outcomes of students who are taught using Android-based chemistry learning media, it is not the same with the KKM value (75) based on the obtained mean of 90.17 with the highest value of 100 and the lowest score of 80.Thus, Android-based chemistry learning media in thermochemical  is suitable for school use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of Android-based chemistry learning media developed based on BSNP standards and to determine student responses to ChemsDroid media. The model used in this research is a 4-D development method from 3 stages, namely: (1) define; (2) design; and (3) development. ChemsDroid android-based media development received an assessment from 3 expert lecturers (material experts and media experts), two chemistry teachers and research samples. The research population was all students of class XII MIA SMA Negeri 1 Perbaungan. The research sample was 1 class XII MIA using total sampling technique. The instrument used was a media feasibility questionnaire non-test instrument based on BSNP standards. Based on the results of data analysis, the Android-based chemistry learning media developed have met the eligibility standards of the BSNP with an average feasibility of 3.61 with very valid criteria and do not need to be revised. The results of student responses to ChemsDroid media obtained a total percentage of 97.71%, which means that students receive and respond to the media very well.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether the learning outcomes of students who are taught with Android-based chemistry learning media are higher than the KKM scores, determine the feasibility of Android-based chemistry learning media developed based on BSNP standards and determine student responses to ChamRaAte media. The media feasibility data and student responses were analyzed descriptively, while the learning outcome data were statistically analyzed with the left side t test. Based on the results of data analysis, the Android-based chemistry learning media developed met the BSNP eligibility standards with an average feasibility of 3.8 with very valid criteria and did not need to be revised. The results of student responses to ChamRaAte media obtained a total percentage of 98%, which means that students received and responded to the media very well. The results of the t test using SPSS 25 obtained sig (2-tailed)> 0.05 (0.142> 0.05) and - t table <t count (-1.729 <1.531), which means that the learning outcomes of students who are taught with Android-based chemistry learning media are higher than KKM value.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a practicum guide for Integrated Natural Sciences in SMP integrated with guided inquiry approach. This research is a research and development research and experiment. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. The instrument used was a feasibility questionnaire based on the National Education Standards Agency, a feasibility questionnaire based on conformity with the guided inquiry learning model, cognitive test instruments, critical thinking skills test instruments, and skills observation sheets. The research data were analyzed using independent sample T-test and correlation test with SPSS 21 for windows at a significance of 0.05 with tcount> ttable and rcount> rtable. The results showed that: the Integrated Natural Science book in schools still has shortcomings so that it needs to be developed, the practicum manual that has been developed in Integrated Natural Science learning class VIII semester I is feasible based on the National Education Standards Agency and is in accordance with the model Guided inquiry learning, students' skills are more developed than students using Integrated Natural Science books in schools, student learning outcomes are better than student learning outcomes using Integrated Natural Science books in schools, thinking ability level The critical thinking ability of students is higher than the critical thinking skills of students using the Integrated Natural Science book in schools, there is a significant relationship between skills and the improvement of student learning outcomes and there is a significant relationship between the level of critical thinking skills of students with an increase in student learning outcomes.
