Abstract

Education is the main foundation in shaping the character and abilities of the younger generation. In Indonesia, the education curriculum continues to be adapted to current developments and local needs, including the introduction and preservation of local culture and wisdom through local content in elementary schools. Water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes), although often considered a weed, has great potential as an educational medium. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to explore the use of water hyacinth as an educational medium in local content learning at Krian 2 State Elementary School. Through data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation, this research reveals that the use of water hyacinth as a material teaching successfully increases student engagement, environmental understanding, as well as practical skills and creativity. Students are involved in the process of collecting, processing and utilizing water hyacinth to make various craft products, which not only provides practical experience but also increases their environmental awareness. The results of the research show that the use of water hyacinth in local content learning has a positive impact on students' understanding of local wisdom and environmental conservation. Students learn the values ​​of hard work, perseverance, responsibility, and cooperation through water hyacinth-based activities. This implementation is also relevant to the local content curriculum and can support community economic empowerment through the introduction of the concept of entrepreneurship. The conclusion of this research shows that water hyacinth has great potential as an educational medium, providing broad educational benefits, as well as forming students' characters who care about the environment and have an entrepreneurial spirit. Recommendations for further development include training and support for teachers, collaboration with local communities, and ongoing evaluation to ensure the success and sustainability of using water hyacinth as an educational medium.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intracurricular learning where content will be optimized so that learners have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. This study aims to ascertain and collect data related to the implementation of the independent curriculum in driving schools. This study is a systematic literature review, which aims to comprehensively review research related to the implementation of the independent curriculum in driving schools. The articles used were from 2022-2023. Principals and driving teachers have a major role in the implementation of the independent curriculum in driving schools. In its implementation, of course, obstacles are found. In addition, this study also describes activities in learning the independent curriculum. Abstract

Cultural learning in elementary schools (SD) has an important role in building national identity and instilling local wisdom values from an early age. However, students' low interest in cultural learning is a challenge for educators. The development of digital technology, especially Augmented Reality (AR), offers innovative solutions in enhancing a more interactive and engaging learning experience. This research aims to explore the role of local Indonesian indigenous culture-based AR media, particularly related to Javanese cultural elements, in improving the cultural understanding of elementary school students. A qualitative method was employed, involving semi-structured interviews with three elementary school teachers from Taman, Buduran, and Candi Districts in Sidoarjo Regency. The findings indicate that teachers are aware of the importance of cultural learning but face challenges in making the content appealing to students. AR is perceived as a promising tool to increase engagement by visualizing cultural objects such as traditional houses, clothing, and folklore through interactive media. However, barriers such as limited digital infrastructure, insufficient teacher training, and lack of localized AR content remain significant obstacles. In conclusion, while AR technology has strong potential to enhance cultural learning in Indonesian elementary schools, its success depends on cross-sectoral collaboration in content development, ongoing teacher professional development, and improved access to supporting technologies.

Abstract

Telah ada integrasi dari waktu yang sangat lama hingga saat ini. Kesinambungan dan perkembangan cepat sesuatu membuatnya sangat signifikan dan memberinya makna yang tidak hanya tak terlupakan tetapi juga memengaruhi orang lain. Mencari tahu apakah generasi bangsa masih memiliki rasa nasionalisme bawaan adalah tujuan dari penelitian ini. Memanfaatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, pendekatan penelitian kualitatif digunakan. Esai ini menyoroti pentingnya rasa nasionalisme bangsa pada generasi sekarang dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur, yang memerlukan pengumpulan informasi dari majalah terkait. Karena teknologi berkembang di mana-mana akhir-akhir ini, sangat penting bagi kita untuk saling mengingatkan untuk memiliki.

Abstract

Wawasan Nusantara merupakan konsep geopolitik di Indonesia yang menekankan akan pentingnya pemahaman dan pemanfaatan mengenai sumber daya alam, budaya, serta potensi yang ada di wilayah kepulauan. Dengan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan sebagai berikut: 1) mengetahui pemahaman tentang wawasan nusantara di kalangan mahasiswa, 2) mengetahui pemikiran mahasiswa terkait geopolitik pada era sekarang, 3) serta mengetahui perwujudan wawasan nusantara sebagai geopolitik di Indonesia. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dalam pengumpulan data ialah berupa observasi dan wawancara di salah satu mahasiswa. Data yang didapat dari hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) pemahaman wawasan nusantara sangat penting dan harus disadari bagi setiap orang, khususnya bagi generasi muda saat ini, 2) Masyarakat Indonesia seharusnya meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman tentang geopolitik melalui pendidikan dan informasi yang mudah diakses, 3) wawasan nusantara merupakan konsep geopolitik yang penting di Indonesia, wawasan nusantara mencerminkan pemahaman Indonesia tentang peran dan posisinya dalam geopolitik regional dan global.

Abstract

Untuk menjamin kelangsungan ekonomi nasional Indonesia dan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia sesuai dengan Pancasila dan Undang-Undang Dasar 1945, ketahanan nasional dapat memperkuat negara secara langsung dan tidak langsung dalam mengatasi berbagai masalah dan kegiatan yang membahayakan kedaulatan negara, baik di dalam maupun di luar. Fokus penelitian adalah mengatasi ancaman, tantangan, hambatan, dan gangguan (AGHT). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis Ketahanan Nasional Indonesia, jadi penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriftif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Menurut tujuan penelitian, metode kualitatif bertujuan untuk memahami, menampilkan, dan menafsirkan suatu peristiwa tentang bagaimana interaksi tingkah laku manusia terjadi dalam situasi tertentu dari sudut pandang peneliti. Setiap bagian dari negara atau masyarakat sipil bertanggung jawab atas pertahanan negara. Masyarakat sipil bertanggung jawab untuk menjaga dan melindungi kedaulatan negara, keutuhan wilayah, dan keselamatan negara dari ancaman, baik yang berasal dari sumber militer maupun non militer, serta dari sumber internal dan eksternal, seperti ideologi, ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. pentingnya prinsip multikulturalisme untuk membangun masyarakat yang inklusif, adil, dan harmonis. Struktur abstrak ini menekankan pentingnya memahami dan menghargai perbedaan budaya dan berusaha untuk mendorong hubungan yang saling menghormati antara kelompok budaya yang berbeda.

Abstract

Pentingnya kesenjangan dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang inklusif, adil, dan harmonis. Abstrak ini menekankan pentingnya menghargai dan memahami keragaman budaya, serta upaya untuk membangun interaksi yang saling menghormati di antara berbagai kelompok etnis. Abstrak ini menyelidiki unsur-unsur pendukung, strategi, dan implementasi yang dapat digunakan dalam pembangunan masyarakat multikultural. Variabel pendukung meliputi kepemimpinan inklusif, kesempatan pendidikan yang beragam, komunikasi antarkelompok terbuka, kebijakan publik inklusif, keterlibatan dalam masyarakat, dan pemahaman pribadi tentang cita-cita multikultural. Metode kualitatif meliputi percakapan antarkelompok, pertukaran budaya, pendidikan antarbudaya, dan promosi media dan ruang publik dari prinsip-prinsip multikultural. Penerapan judul ini membutuhkan kolaborasi dan kerja sama dari berbagai pemangku kepentingan masyarakat. Penghormatan terhadap hak asasi manusia, peningkatan toleransi dan pemahaman antarbudaya, peningkatan kekayaan budaya, kemajuan ekonomi, inklusi sosial, kerja sama internasional yang lebih baik, dan pembangunan identitas nasional yang lebih kuat adalah hasil yang baik dari upaya ini. Individu dan kelompok dapat meningkatkan komitmen mereka untuk menghormati keragaman budaya, menumbuhkan toleransi, dan mengembangkan masyarakat multikultural yang inklusif dan harmonis dengan merefleksikan istilah ini secara jujur dan kritis.

Abstract

This article analyzes and explains the implementation of Pancasila values in national and state life by fostering a sense of awareness through rights and obligations. Pancasila is not only the basis of the state but also a guideline for Indonesian citizens, because Pancasila is the identity of the nation and with its rights and obligations, people have a sense of belonging as citizens. There are several efforts that can be made to practice Pancasila and increase public awareness, namely 1) Education, 2) Starting from oneself, 3) Starting from small things, and the rest is the hope that society will truly have national and state awareness.

Abstract

Vegetables are a source of nutrients that are important for body health and have a vital role in fulfilling daily nutritional needs. Based on data from Basic Health Research in 2018, children with the age group ranging from 5-9 years old have a proportion that consumes less vegetables and fruit, as much of 96.9%. From this data, only 3.1% consume more than 5 portions of vegetables a week. In fact, the Indonesian population is categorized as consuming enough vegetables and fruit if they consume at least 5 portions a week. Many factors cause this condition, one of them is a lack of knowledge about vegetables. Education on vegetable cultivation is a solution to this problem. This research is a type of qualitative research. The result of this research shows that education and practice of vegetables cultivation have positive values and perceptions for students. This directly contributes on increasing students' learning interest and motivation in honing their self-reliance and life skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of local wisdom-based picture storybook models to improve the character of elementary school students. This research uses qualitative research methods. Researchers conducted observations, interviews, and documentation which were analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the observations obtained, students are very enthusiastic in learning, a sense of wanting to know more about local wisdom in their own area is very high and is able to influence the character of students in learning, namely discipline, responsibility, cooperation to achieve completeness in learning, while the results of interviews with students and teachers found that they were very interested in using learning media based on Gresik local wisdom-based picture storybooks because it brings children closer to the real world, meaning that students experience in their daily lives. In other words, the development of local wisdom-based storybooks can improve the character of elementary school students.
