Abstract

Background: Monosodium glutamate (MSG) consumption in excess can have an impact on a man's fertility and lead to infertility. MSG has the potential to produce free radicals, which can harm cells. Antioxidants can fight off free radicals. Exogenous antioxidants are required to maintain equilibrium since there will be an imbalance if the body produces more free radicals than endogenous antioxidants. Exogenous antioxidants flavonoids are present in the leaves of the Moringa plant (Moringa oleifera L). It is thought that flavonoids have 4-5 times more antioxidant potential than vitamins. Objectives: To evaluate how moringa leaf extract affects the histopathological profile of MSG-exposed mouse testes. Methods: Only the posttest was used as a control group in this study. 25 male mice were used as the sample, and they were split up into five groups. The treatment group 1 (P1) received 6 g/day of MSG exposure + 300 mg/kg BW/day of moringa leaf extract, the treatment group 2 (P2) received 6 g/day of MSG exposure + 600 mg/kg BW/day of moringa leaf extract, and the treatment group 3 (P3) received 6 g/day of MSG exposure + 1200 mg/kg BW/day of moringa leaf extract. The control group (K-) received only standard feed. The mice were put to death after 30 days. The testes were removed for histological examination using hematoxylin-eosin staining, and the Johnsen scoring criteria were applied to their evaluation. Results: The data were not significant according to the Shapiro-Wilk test in the P3 group (MSG 6 g/day + Moringa Extract 1200 mg/kg BW/day). The Kruskal-Wallis test revealed that there was no significant difference between the seminiferous tubules according to the treatment group (p = 0.117). Conclusion: Moringa oleifera leaf extract protects the histopathological picture of the testes of male mice compared to the group given monosodium glutamate.

Abstract

Terdapat banyak perusahaan digital payment yang popular di Indonesia seperti GoPay, M-Banking, OVO, DANA, ShopeePay, dan lain lain. Untuktuk dapat bertahan dalam ketat nya persaingan yang ada, perusahaan harus selalu melakukan inovasi yang focus terhadap konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kepuasan pengguna dan perilaku konsumen dengan loyalitas sebagai mediasi terhadap penggunaan pembayaran digital yang dilakukan oleh Generasi Z di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik kuesioner. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 orang yang menggunakan digital payment dalam sistem pembayaran mereka. Tiga hipotesis  diformulasikan dan diuji menggunakan Uji SEM. Hasil pengujian SEM menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan pengguna, perilaku konsumen, dan loyalitas berpengaruh pada penggunaan pembayarn digital yang dilakukan oleh generasi Z di Jakarta.

Abstract

Andrografolid merupakan senyawa golongan diterpenoid yang banyak ditemukan pada tanaman sambiloto. Tanaman ini banyak digunakan sebagai bahan utama sediaan obat tradisional di Indonesia, sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis kadar senyawa yang terkandung di dalamnya, terutama andrografolid. Analisis andrografolid dengan menggunakan Kromatografi Cair Kinerja Tinggi (KCKT) masih belum banyak dilakukan dan perlu pengembangan lebih lanjut. Penggunaan HPLC dengan detektor Photodiode Array (PDA) mampu menghasilkan analisis yang sensitive dan akurat untuk menganalisis kadar andrografolid dalam sediaan obat herbal. Kondisi optimum yang didapatkan untuk analisis andrografolid menggunakan KCKT detector PDA adalah fase gerak isokratik metanol air (55:45) dengan laju alir 1 ml/menit, panjang gelombang 226 nm dan volume injeksi 20 µL. Pada kondisi tersebut puncak andrografolid muncul pada menit ke 5. Hasil validasi metode analisis tersebut menunjukkan nilai presisi intraday %RSD 1,6 dan interday 0,02, nilai  rekoveri  95,03%; LOD dan LOQ 5,95 ppm dan 18,04 ppm.

Abstract

Vitamin B1 merupakan zat gizi yang banyak terdapat dalam biji-bijian. Salah satu makanan yang mengandung vitamin B1 dan banyak di konsumsi masyarakat adalah tempe. Kadar vitamin B1 perlu diperhatikan karena vitamin ini tidak dapat di sintesis oleh tubuh dan biasanya hilang ketika suatu makanan diolah. Metode analisis vitamin B1 perlu dikembangkan dan divalidasi untuk membuktikan bahwa metode analisis memenuhi persyaratan untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh matriks dan validasi metode analisis vitamin B1 pada tempe menggunakan Microplate Reader. Validasi metode analisis vitamin B1 pada tempe dilakukan dengan metode standar adisi menggunakan Microplate Reader dengan panjang gelombang 450 nm. Analisis data secara statistik menggunakan uji T. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa metode analisis yang dikembangkan telah presisi ((RSD < 2), r 0,9976), sensitif (LOD 3,596 µg/mL, LOQ 11,987 µg/mL), dan akurat (nilai recovery 92-96%) dan adanya matriks tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap metode analisis yang digunakan (t hitung < t tabel (2,27 < 2,57)) sehingga metode analisis memenuhi kriteria persyaratan yang diperbolehkan.

Abstract

Background: Efforts to reduce high-carbohydrate consumption from rice include the development of analog rice from alternative sources such as arrowroot tubers (Maranta arundinacea L.). Proper formulation is crucial for producing analog rice with optimal quality, taste, and characteristics resembling conventional rice, while maintaining functional properties to meet carbohydrate and nutritional needs. Hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.), which is rich in flavonoids, saponins, and anthocyanins, can enhance these formulations. Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the composition of a blend of arrowroot tubers (M. arundinacea L.) and hibiscus (H. rosa-sinensis L.) as a rice substitute. Methods: This study used 50 untrained panelists to conduct organoleptic tests on the shape, color, aroma, taste, and texture of rice and analog rice using five formulas (F1, F2, F3, F4, and F5). Furthermore, physical characteristics were tested, including the color index, 1000-grain weight, bulk density, and starch digestibility. Results: The characteristics test proved that all analog rice formulas had an average hedonic score in the range of 3.73-3.90; lower bulk Density than rice with a bulk density of 0.83 ± 0.02 g/mL; starch digestibility in the range of 0.62-0.67 g/mL; and has a yellow-red color range. Conclusion: The best and most preferred rice analog is Formula 5 (F5), with a composition of arrowroot tubers 57.8%, hibiscus 5.1%, mocaf 12.6%, GMS 0.6%, and water 23.9%.

Abstract

Permasalahan keselamatan di kapal sangat penting untuk diperhatikan, pasalnya masih terdapat potensi kecelakaan yang terjadi di kapal MV. Red Rock seperti terpeleset, terbentur benda, dan lain-lain. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya pelaksanaan keselamatan terhadap penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) atau disebut juga dengan Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). PPE merupakan alat yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk melindungi seseorang dari potensi bahaya yang mengancam keselamatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penggunaan Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) oleh awak kapal saat pelaksanaan pemeliharaan kapal di MV. Red Rock dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara mengoptimalkan penggunaan PPE tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif, dimana data yang telah dikumpulkan melalui metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, pelaksanaan penggunaan Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) oleh awak kapal saat pelaksanaan pemeliharaan kapal di MV. Red Rock masih belum optimal disebabkan masih adanya human error, seperti kurangnya pengetahuan dalam penggunaan PPE, tidak mentaati peraturan, dan kelalaian dari pekerja. Untuk mengatasi optimalisasi penggunaan PPE oleh awak kapal saat pelaksanaan pemeliharaan kapal di MV. Red Rock antara lain familiarisasi dan pelatihan kepada crew, memberikan teguran dan pengawasan kepada crew, saling mengawasi dan mengingatkan satu sama lain antar pekerja. Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan laporan hasil dari pengabdian kepada masayarakat mengenai arti pentingnya kepemilikan sertifikat tanah bagi masyarakat sekitar Kantor Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Tebo. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang kepemilikan sertifikat tanah. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian ini sangat direspon oleh masyarakat setempat. Dari hasil pengabdian ini, masyarakat memahami pentingnya kepemilikan sertifikat tanah, proses peralihan ha katas tanah serta tahapan pendaftaran tanah. Pengabdian seperti ini dapat dilakukan secara rutin, baik di lokasi yang sama maupun di lokasi yang berbeda dengan sasaran masyarakat yang membutuhkan informasi terkait pengurusan serta kepemilikan sertifikat tanah.

Abstract

Background: Moringa provides extra dietary benefits. The immune system is significantly influenced by the nine necessary amino acids, calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, zinc, and vitamins A, C, E, and B that are included in this food. Previous studies state that moringa causes liver and kidney damage. Another study found that moringa has an abortive effect.Objectives: This study aimed to determine how exposure to kelor (moringa oleifera) leaf extract affected the hepar and kidney in pregnant mice and found the secondary metabolite of the moringa leaves.Materials and Methods: An experimental laboratory design was conducted in 24 pregnant female Balb/c mice. They were randomized into four groups. Group K was not given anything. Group P1-P3 were given moringa leaf extract during pregnancy at days with a dose dose of 10, 20, and 30 mg in 10, 20, and 18 days, and termination was done to take the organs and make the tissue processing.Results: We found no dead mice and no aggression during the experiment. Significant statistics differed between the experimental group in the microscopic appearance of the kidney and hepar. This study found degeneration and inflammation in the hepar and kidney in the treatment group. Qualitative phytochemical tests on leaves contained alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolics, tannins, and steroids.Conclusion: The ethanol extract of Moringa leaf has shown a mild heparin and kidney effect compared to the control.

Abstract

Background: The condition of hyperglycemia in Diabetes mellitus (DM) causes a disruption of the function of phagocytes that can facilitate M. tuberculosis infection. Immunostimulant from natural ingredients can help improve the condition of hyperglycemia an immune function. Objective: To analyze the effect of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L. extract on fasting blood glucose level and the number of mast cell in TB-DM mouse model. Methods: This experimental study used 27 male Wistar rats, 8 weeks of age, 200-230 g weight, divided into 3 groups, K: Normal control group, P1: TB-positive mouse group P2: Group rat TB-DM + Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L extract dose 250 mg/kgBW and 3 time measurement of H + 7 DM, H + 14 DM and H + 21 DM. TB-DM model mice were prepared with the administration of nicotinamide (NA) 100 mg/kgBW and streptozotocin (STZ) 65 mg/Kg BW, TB agent 1.5 x 105 CFU. Fasting blood glucose levels were measured by GOD-PAP method and Pulmonary tissue is excised, made in paraffin blocks and stained with blue Toluidine to count the mast cells. Results: There was an improvement in the mean fasting blood glucose levels in the group treated with the Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L. extract of 250 mg/kgBW compared to the TB-DM group without extract therapy followed by decreased the number of mast cell. Conclusion: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L. extract. improves fasting blood glucose levels and decreases the number of mast cell of TB-DM rat model.

Abstract

The role of the river as a site for riverine activities has a huge impact on the economic sustainability of the community and the riverine ecosystem. The Silugonggo River is the only river in Pati Regency that is a very densely populated shipping route. This research was conducted along the Silugonggo River from the Juwana Bridge to the estuary. The purpose of this study was to determine ship activity in the Silugonggo River, determine the feasibility of facilities at Juwana Port and analyze environmental conditions along the Silugonggo River. The method used is a qualitative method with observation techniques and laboratory analysis, which is carried out by observing and recording conditions in the field systematically using primary data in the form of water conditions and secondary data in the form of ship activity and construction data. The results showed that the activities in the port of Juwana include mooring, loading and unloading of goods, ship repair and refuelling of ships. The level of water pollution in the Silugonggo River at 5 sampling points shows that the oil content in the water for points 1, 3, 4 and 5 is still considered safe because it is below the quality standard, but the oil content at point 2 has a very high value from the set quality standard which is 20 mg/L. The pollution that occurs is caused by shipping activities that dump waste into the water and fuel filling activities.Keywords:marine polutionportriverwater qualityoil spill
