Abstract

Social emotional problems in early childhood can hinder the learning process and social development. This study aims to analyze the approaches used by teachers in instilling and developing the social emotional aspects of early childhood in Pembina Sitiung State Kindergarten, and to find out the most effective approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers use play, role model, and habituation approaches in instilling social emotional values. The collaborative play approach and adult role models have proven to be the most effective in shaping positive social behavior in children. This study recommends the importance of ongoing teacher training related to approaches that are oriented towards strengthening children's social emotional values.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explores parents' and teachers' perceptions of curriculum modifications, the factors influencing their acceptance, and the challenges in implementation. This study employed a systematic literature review method adapted from PRISMA framework guidelines relying on literature sources from Scopus and the Watase Uake tool. Thematic analysis was utilized as the interpretive lens within an integrative review framework involving (1) systematic data extraction, (2) thematic coding, and (3) synthesis. The findings of this study indicate that parents focus more on the impact of modifications on their children's social and emotional development, while teachers emphasize academic effectiveness and technical challenges in implementation. Factors influencing their acceptance include school policy support, involvement in decision-making, and professional training for teachers. The main challenges in implementing an inclusive curriculum include ineffective communication between schools and parents, limited resources, and a lack of teacher training. This study recommends increasing parental involvement in curriculum development, strengthening teacher training, and formulating clearer policies. Closer collaboration between schools, teachers, and parents is key to ensuring the successful modification of the curriculum in inclusive schools. Further studies using an empirical approach are suggested to gain a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of curriculum modifications and their impact on students with special needs.

Abstract

Lanjut usia (lansia) adalah kelompok penduduk yang berumur 60 tahun atau lebih. Berdasarkan riset kesehatan dasar tahun 2013 penyakit terbanyak pada lanjut usia adalah hipertensi (57,6%), dengan bertambah usia, maka tekanan darah sistolik cenderung naik sehingga menyebabkan hipertensi. Maka perlunya diteliti faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan hipertensi pada lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara herediter dan perilaku dengan hipertensi pada lansia. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif rancangan “Cross Sectional”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh lansia yang ada di Puskesmas Mekarmukti Kabupaten Bekasi tahun 2018. Sample diambil dengan cara sampling incident sebanyak 85 orang sesuai kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Hasil menunjukan dari 85 lansia yang diteliti jumlah lansia yang memiliki hipertensi yaitu 56,5 %, hasil analisa bivariat menunjukan dari 3 variabel yang diteliti ada 2 variabel yang memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan hipertensi yaitu Herediter (p=0,001) dan kebiasaan merokok (p=0,006). Sedangkan yang tidak memiliki hubungan bermakna ada 1 variabel yaitu latihan fisik (p=0,986). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara herediter, kebiasaan merokok terhadap hipertensi pada lansia. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah petugas kesehatan mampu memberikan penyuluhan mengenai faktor resiko terjadinya hipertensi pada lansia, pola hidup yang sehat, seperti  menjauhi kebiasaan merokok dan melakukan latihan fisik yang teratur, Selain itu lansia harus melakukan cek kesehatan secara rutin setiap bulannya. Daftar bacaan                       : 16 Literatur (2008-2015)Kata kunci                              : Herediter, perilaku, lansia dan hipertensi

Abstract

This study aims: 1) to reconstruct the procession of the marriage ceremony "alek bajawek", 2) explain how the equipment used as a symbol is used in the marriage ceremony "alek bajawek", 3) analyze the meaning contained in the equipment used as a symbol used at the marriage ceremony "alek bajawek" in Seberang Piruko, Koto Baru District, Dharmasraya Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research. This study took 28 informants, the technique of selecting informants was done by using purposive sampling technique. This type of research is ethnographic research. The research data was collected by observation, interview and documentation study. The technique of guaranteeing the validity of the data is done by being directly involved in research, seriousness in observing and by triagulation techniques. Data analysis was performed using Spradley analysis steps and the meaning of the jawi symbol is the main requirement in conducting "alek gadang" as a food to welcome the group of bako farmers. This symbol has a meaning that contains a message, so that the community makes this a reference in behavior and can be said that the Seberang Piruko community is a civilized society.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low development of gross motor skills of early childhood, this is caused by the gross motor learning of children is still not so optimally implemented so that the gross motor skills of young children is still low, researchers overcome the problem by using relay games. This study aims to improve the gross motor development of early childhood through relay running games. This research uses the literature study method. The results showed that there was an influence on the application of relay games to the development of gross motor skills of early childhood. This is evidenced from the results of analyzing 12 article and 2 books, showing that the application of relay games can improve gross motor skills of young children. Correspondingly, the abilities of children have increased rapidly through the relay game, so that children feel happy and feel comfortable in doing the game. Children are also more eager to learn, and can increase children's confidence. So that through relay games the child becomes a more independent, strong and confident person to appear in public.
