Abstract

This study aims to determine the practicality of the PjBL E-STEM model in science learning to improve problem solving abilities faced by students at the junior high school level. The practicality level of the PjBL E-STEM model in science learning is measured through the results of observer tests that are included in the learning process in class. The criterion for the acceptance of the practicality level of the model developed according to the expert is that at least the practical level obtained is in the "quite practical" category. The data collection technique used the PjBL E-STEM model implementation questionnaire in science learning. Qualitative data analysis used content analysis techniques while quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the practicality of the PJBL E-STEM model in science learning resulted in an average score of 88.25 in the practical category

Abstract

Difteri merupakan penyakit infeksi akut yang terutama menyerang tonsil, faring, laring, hidung, dan adakalanya menyerang selaput lendir atau kulit serta kadang pula menyerang konjungtiva atau vagina Penyakit disebabkan oleh bakteri Corynebacterium diphtheriae. Bakteri tersebut merupakan salah satu jenis bakteri gram-positif yang tidak membentuk spora. Pada kedua ujungnya bakteri ini memiliki granula metakromatik yang memberi gambaran pada pewarnaan. diphtheriae berdiameter 0,5-1 µm dan panjangnya beberapa mikrometer, tidak berspora, tidak bergerak, dan termasuk pada organisme yang tidak tahan asam. Difteri dapat ditularkan melaui kontak dengan materi infektif dari penderita secara langsung atau melalui udara Timbulnya penyakit ini ditandai dengan adanya pertumbuhan membran (pseudomembran) berwarna putih keabu-abuan, yang lokasi utamanya di nasofaring atau daerah tenggorokan yang dapat menyumbat saluran pernafasan dalam hitungan beberapa jam sampai beberapa hari saja. Risiko penularan difteri meningkat pada orang-orang yang belum mendapatkan vaksinasi. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang penyebab, gejala dan penyebaran dari penyakit Difteri. Selain itu, dilakukan sosialisasi mengenai vaksin Difteri sebagai salah satu bentuk pencegahan ataupun pengobatan dari penyakit Difteri. Maka dari itu dengan adanya sosialisasi ini sangat diharapkan akan menghadirkan dampak yang baik, yaitu masyarakat akan tau cara pencegahan penyakit ini sehingga tidak terjangkit.

Abstract

This research was descriptive research using the survey method. This research was conducted at the Public Senior High School, Aceh Besar, Aceh in 2019. The research subjects were 135 students of class X SMAN in Aceh Besar. The sampling technique was the total sampling technique. Data collection was done through test techniques. The test technique was carried out to measure the achievement of conceptual abilities. The test instrument used was multiple choice taken from ecosystem material. The data analysis used was inferential analysis to determine the difference in the achievement of students' conceptual knowledge in schools with the accommodated variables, namely based on gender. The results obtained indicate that the results of the study obtained a value of p = 0.000 (p 0.05), so there is a significant difference between the gender of female and male students. The average value of the achievement of conceptual knowledge of students of class X IPA SMA Negeri in Aceh Besar where the female students were 8,96 and male students were 4.36. It can be concluded that the conceptual knowledge of female students is higher than male students.

Abstract

Students’ Misconception in Animalia Kingdom. This study aimed to identify the misconception of Grade X students on the concept of animalia kingdom dan to find out the percentage of the students who had misconceptions. This study is quantitative descriptive research. The research instruments used written tests in the form of open-ended multiple-choice tests using the CRI technique. The sample of this research was the students of Grade X IA1 and X IA5 SMA Abulyatama Aceh. The sample was 62 students. Based on the result, it was found that more students “Understand the Concept” than those who experience “Misconceptions,” the percentage of students who experience misconceptions about the concept of animal diversity is 27% and that is in the “moderate” category. The students experienced partial misconception which caused them unable to justify and express inappropriate arguments. This is reflected in several students’ answers who did not provide the reason for their answer choice and some students misinterpreted the reason. In this research, the students usually experience misconceptions caused by associative thinking. The students use false experiences as conceptions, and inaccurate reasons, and draw conclusions based on what they see

Abstract

The research aims to enhance the creativity of students by applying the TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) learning model at SMPN 2 Kuta Baro Aceh Besar. The sample in this study was a student of class VII C of 22 students. This research uses a pre-experimental research design. Creativity data is collected through the observation sheet with the Guttman scale. Analysis of data creativity is calculated using a percentage formula. The study results of the student's learning creativity at the initial observation were 54.5% being in the category quite creative and the final observation score was 82% with the category highly creative. It can be concluded that the application of the learning model of Two Stay Two Stray can enhance the creativity of students of grade VII C at SMPN 2 Kuta Baro on Earth and Solar System matter.

Abstract

Penerapan materi oleh guru melalui penyelesaian soal menjadi fokus dalam model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah ada perbedaan signifikan dalam hasil belajar antara penggunaan model CRH dengan model konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII di MTsN 2 Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dan data dikumpulkan melalui teka-teki silang serta essai. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji N-Gain, termasuk uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Berdasarkan uji skor N-Gain, prestasi belajar siswa mencapai 62,95%, yang termasuk dalam kategori “baik”. Normalitas data diuji dengan metode Shapiro-Wilk dan hasilnya menunjukkan distribusi data yang normal. Selain itu, uji homogenitas menggunakan Levene Statistics menunjukkan nilai Sig. 0,514 > 0,05, menunjukkan data tersebut homogen. Hasil uji t sampel independen menunjukkan bahwa t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, yaitu 22,809 > 0,000, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dari hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pada siswa yang menggunakan model CRH dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan dibandingkan siswa yang diajar dengan model konvensional pada materi fisika tentang pesawat sederhana di kelas VIII MTsN 2 Aceh Besar. Dengan model pembelajaran CRH, siswa menunjukkan hasil belajar yang lebih baik menunjukkan bahwa metode ini dapat dianggap lebih efektif dalam menyampaikan materi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a Physics textbook at the upper secondary level that reflects the values of Islamic education. The development of this physics book is also enrichment material using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) approach model. In developing the learning materials, 5 physics teachers were involved for five high schools in Aceh Besar, where 10 students were taken per school for a total of 50 students. At the analysis stage, researchers use self-evaluation to ensure the feasibility of the analysis. Apart from that, prototype II was also developed in the form of several chapters involving one religious lecturer. Furthermore, these chapters were tested directly on all students to see the students' cognitive and behavioral mastery over the centuries and whether their attitudes reflected correct Islamic values and were in accordance with the religious demands of being a Muslim. The results of the research show that: (1) the development of Islamic-based physics material can build students' cognitive and affective domains which are characterized by good behavior and mutual respect, (2) Physics books with an Islamic character curriculum make students appear polite and confident, (3) Teachers as curriculum developers and implementers feel responsible for taking anticipatory steps so that physics books in schools can truly reflect Islamic values as a whole, both in terms of validity and practicality.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy in physics are still lacking which is dominated by teachers and is always considered difficult by SMA Negeri 1 Blangkejeren students, The purpose of this study was to determine the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Quizizz learning models can improve students' problem solving skills on momentum and impulse material. The method used in this research is the Quasy experiment method with a quantitative approach and the research design is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was carried out by giving a pretest-posttest class. By cluster random sampling techniques, so the samples determined were class X. The number of samples per class is 27 students. The research measurement tools used in the study were RPP and LKPD that had been prepared containing several steps of the CTL learning model that were to be realized in the teaching and learning process as well as test questions to obtain data related to the results of students' problem-solving abilities. The tests that were prepared in the form of questions included 13 questions based on ability indicators based on Bloom's Taxonomy including C1 (understanding) to C5 (evaluating). The test data provided were the average pre-test and post-test scores CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning with Quizizz evaluation media provides better results than using conventional learning models, with game-shaped questions and scores making SMA Negeri 1 Blangkejeren students compete to get better scores.
