Abstract

This research is entitled The Effect of Infographic Utilisation Assisted by LMS SPADA DIKTI to Improve Understanding of the Concept of Light Reflection in Basic Physics Course for D3 Pharmacy Students of UMMAT in 2023. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of infographics assisted by LMS SPADA on improving understanding of the concept of light reflection in the Basic Physics Course for D3 Pharmacy students of UMMAT Odd Semester Academic Year 2023/2024.. The research location is D3 Pharmacy Study Programme, FIK, UMMAT Academic Year 2023/2024. The study population was all students of the D3 Pharmacy Study Programme, UMMAT. The sample in this study were 16 D3 Pharmacy students of class 2023 who were taking Basic Physics courses. The research method used is the Pre-experiment method. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection was carried out using test instruments. The instrument used in this research is in the form of a concept understanding test that measures the cognitive domain. The number of questions is 25 multiple choice questions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using infographics assisted by LMS SPADA to improve the understanding of the concept of light reflection material for D3 Pharmacy UMMAT students in the 2023/2024 Academic Year in the Basic Physics course. The N-gain value is 0.612 so that the increase in understanding of the concept of student light reflection in basic physics courses is in the medium category

Abstract

Abstrak Pelatihan Ecoprint di SDN 2 Danger, Lombok Timur, diselenggarakan sebagai bagian dari upaya penguatan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman praktis kepada siswa tentang konsep keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui teknik ecoprint, yaitu teknik pewarnaan kain yang ramah lingkungan menggunakan bahan-bahan alami. Kegiatan ini melibatkan kelas 6 yang terdiri dari 45 siswa gabungan kelas A dan B dalam proses kreatif pembuatan motif pada kain dengan memanfaatkan daun, bunga, dan tumbuhan lainnya, sehingga siswa dapat memahami pentingnya menjaga kelestarian alam serta menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap lingkungan. Hasil dari pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan siswa dan memperkuat nilai-nilai Pancasila, seperti gotong royong, kemandirian, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Pelatihan ecoprint tidak hanya memberikan keterampilan baru bagi siswa, tetapi juga menjadi sarana untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: ecoprint; P5; kurikulum merdeka AbstractThe Ecoprint Workshop at SDN 2 Danger, East Lombok, was held as part of efforts to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile Enhancement Project (P5) within the Merdeka Curriculum. The workshop aimed to provide practical understanding to students about the concept of environmental sustainability through the ecoprint technique, an eco-friendly fabric dyeing method using natural materials. The activity involved 45 sixth-grade students from classes A and B in a creative process of creating patterns on fabric using leaves, flowers, and other plants. This allowed students to understand the importance of preserving nature and foster a love for the environment. The outcomes of this workshop not only increased students' environmental awareness but also reinforced Pancasila values such as mutual cooperation, independence, and social responsibility. The ecoprint workshop not only equipped students with new skills but also served as a medium to integrate character values into the learning process. Keywords: ecoprint; P5; independent curriculum

Abstract

Suitable media in the learning process is required to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. Utilizing visual and audio media is precise in enhancing students' learning outcomes. This study aims to re-analyze previous studies on the accuracy levels of the effect of students' cognitive learning outcomes in using audio-visual media. The method used in this research is Meta-analysis. The data was acquired from indexing databases such as Google Scholar, Doaj, and Scopus. Afterward, the study conducted data filtration on the research result that contains Fisher test score (F), student test (t), correlation test (r), and the number of students (N). The result of data analysis using JASP software is that as many as 49 data significantly improve students' cognitive learning outcomes using audio-visual media. In data analysis at the elementary school level, the effect is 72%; at the junior high school level, the effect is 77%; and at the senior high school level, the effect is 92%. Then, in the classification of social and cultural subjects, the effect is 82%, while in science and mathematics subjects, the effect is 68%. From comparing the accuracy level of the impact, one can observe that using audio-visual media has an enormous influence at the high school level and on social and cultural subject classification.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh pemanfaatan LMS berbasis Moodle terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep pengukuran besaran listrik pada Mata Kuliah Alat Ukur Listrik bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika UMMAT Semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2022/2023. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 2 bulan yaitu Februari-Maret 2023. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, FKIP, UMMAT. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2022 sebanyak 13 orang yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah alat ukur listrik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pre-eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan intrumen tes. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berbentuk tes pemahaman konsep yang mengukur ranah kognitif. Jumlah soal sebanyak 25 soal. Adapun manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu membantu mahasiswa memahami konsep pengkukuran besaran-besaran Listrik sehingga memudahkan dalam mengukur besaran listrik di dalam laboratorium. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pemanfaatan LMS berbasis Moodle untuk menunjang pemahaman konsep mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika UMMAT Tahun Akademik 2022/2023 pada mata kuliah alat ukur listrik. Adapun nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,688 sehingga peningkatan pemahaman konsep berada mahasiswa pada alat ukur listrik berada pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

In Basic Physics instruction, particularly in laboratory experiments involving direct current (DC) circuits, the need for accurate, real-time, and efficient power measurement tools is critical. Traditional instruments often fall short in delivering such performance, leading to errors and delays in data analysis. To address this issue, this study developed and implemented an Internet of Things (IoT)-based power measurement tool utilizing Arduino NodeMCU, capable of real-time data transmission and processing through Wi-Fi connectivity. The integration of current and voltage sensors enables more accurate and accessible DC power measurements for educational purposes.This research employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design. A total of 12 students enrolled in the Basic Physics Laboratory course participated in the study. The effectiveness of the tool was evaluated through pretest and posttest assessments, student response questionnaires, and observational data. Normality testing (Shapiro-Wilk) showed that both pretest (p = 0.262) and posttest (p = 0.284) scores were normally distributed. A paired sample t-test revealed a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding (t = -8.20, p = 5.14 × 10⁻⁶). The average normalized gain (N-Gain) score was 0.565, indicating a medium level of improvement, with 75% of students falling in the medium category and 25% in the high category. Student feedback also reflected a positive perception of the tool, with an average response score of 84.5 out of 100. These results suggest that the IoT-based measurement tool not only enhances the accuracy and efficiency of data collection in Basic Physics experiments but also improves students’ conceptual understanding and engagement. The innovation aligns with modern educational goals by integrating digital technology into science instruction, preparing students for real-world scientific and technological challenges.

Abstract

AbstrakPelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah merupakan langkah penting dalam mendukung pengembangan profesionalisme guru, khususnya untuk memenuhi persyaratan kenaikan jabatan fungsional. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diselenggarakan di MTs Nurul Ishlah Gegelang dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah yang layak publikasi. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh para guru yang diharapkan dapat menghasilkan artikel yang sesuai dengan standar jurnal ilmiah dan memiliki kontribusi bagi bidang pendidikan. Metode pelatihan mencakup sesi teori tentang struktur artikel ilmiah, teknik penulisan yang efektif, serta proses publikasi. Selain itu, sesi praktik memberikan kesempatan bagi peserta untuk menulis dan mendapatkan umpan balik dari para fasilitator. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah, serta menumbuhkan motivasi untuk aktif berkontribusi dalam publikasi ilmiah. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, diharapkan para guru dapat lebih mudah mencapai persyaratan jabatan fungsional dan terus berperan dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan pendidikan. Kata kunci: pelatihan; artikel ilmiah; jabatan fungsional AbstractScientific Article Writing Training is an important step in supporting the professional development of teachers, particularly in meeting the requirements for functional position promotion. This training was held at MTs Nurul Ishlah Gegelang with the aim of enhancing teachers’ understanding and skills in writing publishable scientific articles. The training was attended by teachers who were expected to produce articles that meet scientific journal standards and contribute to the field of education. The training methods included theoretical sessions on the structure of scientific articles, effective writing techniques, and the publication process. In addition, practical sessions provided participants with the opportunity to write and receive feedback from facilitators. The results of the training showed an improvement in teachers’ understanding and ability to write scientific articles, as well as increased motivation to actively contribute to scientific publications. Through this training, it is hoped that teachers will be better able to meet the requirements for functional promotion and continue to play a role in the advancement of science and education. Keywords: trining; scientific article; academic rank

Abstract

Physics is an important part of the science curriculum at both the high school and college levels. Physics learning requires students to master abstract theoretical concepts, so it is not uncommon for these theoretical concepts to be difficult for learners to perceive. Abstract concepts in physics learning can be overcome through practical activities in concrete laboratories or virtual laboratories. This study aims to produce virtual laboratory media based on HTML 5 Canvas and Javascript programs packaged in Graphical User Interface (GUI) format in terms of experts, practicioners, and students. The research method used is research and development (R&D), using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The subjects were conducted in second-years physic students which consisted of 8 students (small group test) and in class XI high school students which consisted of 20 students (large group test). The instrument used were interview sheets, documentation, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that virtual laboratory media was valid with a CVI score of 0,87 and reliable with a Percentage of Agreement score of 85,95% based on experts and practitioners judgment. In addition, based on the results of the practicality test for students, the test results were in the very practical category with a practicality score of 86,4% and 88,6% respectively for small group test and large group test. So it can be concluded that virtual laboratory media can be used to support physic learning.

Abstract

Abstract:  This community service activity involved a partner, namely the Preparatory Village of Benue. The objectives of this program were: 1) to conduct a socialization session about the Community Service Program (KKN) carried out by Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram, with the aim of placing students in the Preparatory Village of Benue in the future; and 2) to assist in creating unique and attractive promotional videos and infographics related to the River Tubing tourist attraction at Kokok Babak, which could be distributed primarily through social media. The method used in this community service consisted of three stages: 1) preparation stage, 2) implementation stage, 3) implementation stage (note: this is repeated in the source), and 3) monitoring and evaluation. Based on the results of the socialization and implementation, it can be concluded that: 1) 90% of the staff in the Preparatory Village of Benue have understood the KKN program organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram, which opens the opportunity for future student placements; and 2) 90% of the river tubing tourist site has been recorded, and the promotional videos have been created in an engaging and creative manner and successfully disseminated through Facebook and YouTube.Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki mitra yaitu Desa Persiapan Benue. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu 1) memberikan sosialisasi terkait program KKN yang dilaksanakan oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram agar ke depan bisa menempatkan mahasiswa di Desa Persiapan Benu; 2) membantu membuatkan video promosi dan infografis yang unik dan menarik terkait objek wisata River Tuning Kokok Babak sehingga bisa disebar terutama melalui media sosial. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari 3 langkah yaitu 1) tahap persiapan, 2) tahap pelaksanaan, 3) tahap implementasi, dan 3) monitoring dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan implementasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat tersebut dapat disimpulkan yaitu 1) sebesar 90% staf di Desa Persiapan Benue sudah memahami terkait program KKN yang dilaksanakan oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram agar ke depan bisa menempatkan mahasiswa di Desa Persiapan Benue; 2) sebesar 90% lokasi wisata river tubing sudah direkam dan dibuatkan video promosinya secara menarik dan unik serta sudah disebar melalui facebook dan youtube.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajran PBL. Metode yang digunakan adalah Metode PTK yang terdiri dari 2 siklus pembelajaran. Subjjek penelitian terdiri dari 15 siswa. Hasil belajar tematik IPA peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Tegaljadi dengan model pembelajaran Problem Beased Learning pada tema 1 muatan IPA mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari pra siklus dengan nilai rata-rata 62,67% dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal meningkat menjadi 70 pada siklus 1, dan pada siklus II rata-rata nilai peserta didik meningkat menjadi 81.3% dengan kategori tinggi dan berhasil mencapai indikator ketuntasan belajar sebesar 86.67 %. Kesimpulannya dengan model PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Efforts to Improve Thematic Science Learning Outcomes Through the Implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Model in Grade V Students of SDN 1 Tegaljadi Academic Year 2022/2023AbstractThe aim of this research is to enhance students' learning outcomes in the subject of Science using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) instructional model. The research employed the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method, conducted in two learning cycles, with a total of 15 student participants. The thematic Science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tegaljadi, utilizing the Problem-Based Learning model in the first thematic topic of Science, demonstrated improvement. The pre-cycle average score was 62.67%, and the classical mastery learning increased to 70 in the first cycle. In the second cycle, the average student scores further improved to 81.3%, falling under the high category, and successfully achieving a mastery learning indicator of 86.67%. In conclusion, the implementation of the PBL model contributed to the enhancement of students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

AbstrakKurangnya pengetahuan guru tentang instrumen tes sesuai dengan tingkatan taksonomi Bloom membuat para guru dalam membuat instrumen tes tidak mudah, selain harus menyesuaikan ada 6 tingkatan kata operasiaonal untuk memenuhi standar instrumen yang baik. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberi kemudahan bagi guru dalam menyusun instrumen tes dengan berbantuan aplikasi Chat GPT. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan dengan tahapan pengenalan aplikasi, praktik penggunaan aplikasi Chat GPT, evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Setelah melakukan pelatihan diperoleh bahwa 100% guru dapat dengan mudah membuat instrumen tes dengan berbagai kata operasional sesuai Taksonomi Bloom. Kata kunci: chat GPT; instrumen tes. AbstractTeachers' lack of knowledge about test instruments according to Bloom's taxonomy levels makes it challenging for them to create test instruments. They must not only adjust to the six levels of operational words to meet the standards of a good instrument but also navigate the complexities involved. The aim of this service is to provide teachers with ease in developing test instruments using the Chat GPT application. The method implemented includes training sessions with steps of application introduction, practical use of the Chat GPT application, and evaluation of the training results. After the training, it was found that 100% of the teachers could easily create test instruments with various operational words in accordance with Bloom's Taxonomy. Keywords: chat GPT; instrument test.
