Abstract

Abstract: Islamic Religious Education aims to shape students' character, including fostering environmental care attitudes, yet traditional methods are often less effective for students with special needs (ABK) who require tailored approaches. This study evaluates the implementation of motion-based flashcards in Islamic Religious Education to enhance the affective abilities of ABK students concerning environmental care. Employing a literature review method, data were systematically collected from books, journals, and scholarly articles, focusing on Krathwohl’s affective domain theory, Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences theory, characteristics of ABK, and the effectiveness of flashcard media. Data collection utilized a literature review checklist to record key information and a data categorization matrix to organize findings, with inclusion criteria encompassing relevance, recency (published within the last 10 years, except for classical theories), and source credibility, while excluding irrelevant or less credible literature. Data were analyzed using a qualitative-descriptive approach. Findings indicate that motion-based flashcards enhance motivation and internalization of environmental care values among ABK students, despite challenges such as varying motor skills and limited facilities. With adaptations, motion-based flashcards hold potential as an effective inclusive strategy in Islamic Religious Education.Abstrak: Pendidikan Agama Islam bertujuan membentuk karakter siswa, termasuk sikap peduli lingkungan, namun metode tradisional kurang efektif bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) yang memerlukan pendekatan khusus. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi implementasi flashcard motion-based dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk meningkatkan kemampuan afektif siswa ABK terkait peduli lingkungan. Menggunakan metode studi pustaka, data dikumpulkan dari buku, jurnal, dan artikel, dengan fokus pada teori ranah afektif Krathwohl, teori Multiple Intelligences Gardner, karakteristik ABK, dan efektivitas flashcard. Pengumpulan data dilakukan sistematis menggunakan lembar telaah pustaka dan matriks pencatatan, dengan kriteria inklusi berupa relevansi, aktualitas (10 tahun terakhir, kecuali teori klasik), dan kredibilitas sumber, serta eksklusi untuk literatur tidak relevan. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif-deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan flashcard motion-based meningkatkan motivasi dan internalisasi nilai peduli lingkungan, meskipun tantangan seperti variasi kemampuan motorik dan keterbatasan fasilitas menghambat. Dengan adaptasi, flashcard motion-based berpotensi menjadi strategi inklusif efektif dalam PAI.

Abstract

Generation Z students show challenges in emotional and psychomotor engagement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning due to high digital distractions and low reflection of spiritual values. Mindful learning, which emphasizes full awareness in the learning process, is offered as a pedagogical strategy to overcome these problems. This study aims to analyze the application of mindful learning in increasing the emotional and psychomotor engagement of Gen Z in PAI learning. The method used is a literature study based on descriptive qualitative analysis of the theory and practice of mindful learning in the context of PAI material. The results of the study show that in the material on Etiquette in Using Social Media, mindful learning is effective in fostering ethical awareness through reflection of students' digital experiences. Meanwhile, in the material on Marriage in Islam, simulation activities and creative projects are able to generate meaningful psychomotor engagement. In conclusion, mindful learning is able to unite the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions in an integrated manner in PAI learning. The implications of this study lead to the need for teacher training in mindfulness strategies, development of reflection-based curriculum, and creation of learning spaces that support psychological safety and contextual spiritual practices. This approach opens up opportunities for a more relevant and in-depth transformation of religious education for today's digital generation.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze human resources based on interests and talents in cassava processing innovation through the 3P Program (Production, Packaging, Marketing) in Minggir Village, highlighting its role in local economic development. Method: Using the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach, data were collected through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation to assess community involvement. Practical Application: The 3P Program encourages local women and cadres to engage in cassava product innovation, offering a replicable model for rural entrepreneurship and community empowerment. Conclusion: The research shows strong human resource potential in Minggir Village, evidenced by the active participation of PKK women and cadres in the 3P Program, contributing to sustainable local innovation and economic growth.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan spiritualitas peserta didik, namun tantangan berupa rendahnya motivasi dan partisipasi aktif siswa masih menjadi kendala dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis nilai-nilai Islam melalui model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning/PjBL) guna meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, melibatkan analisis literatur dari berbagai sumber akademik yang relevan. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema utama terkait integrasi nilai Islam dalam bahan ajar berbasis proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, motivasi belajar, serta internalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman pada peserta didik. Selain itu, bahan ajar digital interaktif yang terintegrasi dengan PjBL terbukti efektif dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kehidupan siswa. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan integrasi nilai Islam tidak hanya meningkatkan capaian akademik tetapi juga membentuk karakter religius siswa, sehingga layak diterapkan secara lebih luas dalam pendidikan agama untuk menghadapi tantangan pendidikan modern.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the senior high school level continues to face challenges in enhancing student motivation and engagement, primarily due to monotonous and minimally interactive instructional methods. To address this issue, the present study aims to develop a learning medium in the form of a Snakes and Ladders game based on a joyful learning approach, integrated with question and challenge cards, and to assess its feasibility through expert validation and limited trials. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) framework, this study adopts the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The learning medium is designed based on the thematic content of Q.S. al-Māidah / 5:48, which emphasizes competing in goodness, and Q.S. at-Taubah / 9:10, which highlights the Islamic work ethic. Validation by media experts yielded an average score of 3.85, while material experts assigned a score of 3.71, both categorized as “highly feasible.” Implementation in Grade X of senior high school demonstrated that the media enhanced students’ conceptual understanding, encouraged healthy social interactions, and nurtured their learning spirit. Despite certain limitations, such as time constraints and the dominance of the game-related elements, the media effectively supported an active and enjoyable learning process. Therefore, the snakes and ladders-based learning medium presents a promising pedagogical innovation for contextualizing Islamic Religious Education and reinforcing character development among high school students.   Keywords: Learning Media, Snakes and Ladders, Joyful Learning, Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

As a result of the influence of modernism, there is a shift in emphasis in the learning of yellow books (kitab kuning) in Islamic educational institutions, both in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas. Therefore, it is important for teachers of yellow book reading in madrasas to design learning development in order to meet learning objectives so as to create meaningful learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the Dick and Carey model in the development of Yellow Book Reading Guidance learning at MTs Tarbiyatut Tholabah Lamongan. A qualitative case study approach was used in this study, with the data sources used consisting of primary data sources extracted from the process of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study state that the development of learning carried out by teachers of reading yellow books at MTs Tarbiyatut Tholabah class VII F is the development of teaching modules that use the steps of implementing the Dick and Carey model, namely: 1) Identifying general learning objectives, 2) Analyzing instruction, 3) Identifying initial abilities and characteristics of students, 4) Formulating specific learning objectives, 5) Developing assessment instruments, 6) Developing teaching strategies, 7) Developing and selecting teaching materials, 8) Formative evaluation, 9) Revising learning, 10) Summative evaluation.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental need for humans, because with education humans can develop physical and intellectual potential. Moreover, Islamic education, which is a guideline for Muslims in forming an obedient attitude and in accordance with religious law. Monotonous learning, namely using traditional learning methods, reduces the quality of education because it does not keep up with progress. However, the challenges in learning at UBQ Nurul Islam Mojokerto Middle School, the lack of asking students and outdated learning methods, make it necessary to innovate in learning, one of which is mind mapping. This research uses a quantitative approach to explain the application of mind mapping in PAI learning. The results show that this mindmapping method is quite well implemented by educators. Because by using the mind mapping method students become more active and make it easier for them to understand the learning.

Abstract

Education plays a vital role in shaping human character and morality in accordance with Islamic values and national education goals. To achieve these objectives, appropriate learning strategies are essential. SD Islam Darul Falah Tambak Banyumas implements the outing class strategy (learning outside the classroom) as an innovative approach in teaching Aqidah and Adab. This study aims to examine the implementation, impact, and the supporting and inhibiting factors of this strategy for third-grade students. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of outing class is aligned with relevant lesson themes and is often integrated with other subjects. The strategy positively influences students’ motivation and comprehension, although challenges such as teacher readiness and logistical constraints remain. In conclusion, outing class is an effective method for teaching Aqidah and Adab when supported by thorough planning.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran sangatlah diperlukan oleh guru dalam menunjang dan mendukung suatu pengajaran dalam pendidikan. Media merupakan alat bantu yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar, selain menggunakan buku atau metode ceramah. Guru dapat memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi salah satunya ialah aplikasi Canva. Canva merupakan aplikasi berbasis online dengan menyediakan desain menarik berupa template, fitu-fitur, dan kategorikategori yang diberikan di dalamnya. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan aplikasi Canva sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam. Tempat penelitian ini di SD An-Najiyah Surabaya Kelas VI B Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Di Kelas VI B SD An-Najiyah Surabaya, dengan menggunakan Canva sebagai media pembelajaran terlihat jelas semangat belajar anak menjadi meningkat, anak bisa lebih fokus terhadap materi ajar sehingga hasil belajar menjadi meningkat hal ini terlihat dari nilai capaian siswa saat melakukan evaluasi akhir pembelajaran ternyata diatas rata-rata Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) yang telah diterapkan sebelumnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan aplikasi Canva dapat meningkatkan hasil prestasi siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SD An-Najiyah Surabaya. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari Hasil tes menunjukkan adanya persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar, yaitu pada Siklus I 62,5% dan meningkat pada siklus II 87,5%. Dengan memanfaatkan Canva sebagai media pembelajaran siswa menjadi aktif, kreatif dan belajar menjadi menyenangkan, Ketrampilan menggunakan komputer dan teknologi informasi menjadi kebutuhan dalam mengembangkan diri guru dan pembelajarannya, pemanfaatan Canva meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak dan membangkitkan rasa ingin tahu tentang banyak hal, memberikan apresiasi dan inspirasi untuk dapat berkreasi sendiri bagi guru dan siswa.

Abstract

The study is aimed at investigating 1) The order of managerial roles performed by the madrasah's principals in doing the managerial process at the madrasahs in the district of Sidoarjo. 2) The influence between the difference of role and the job satisfaction of the teachers at those madrasahs. 3) The influence of the difference in role towards the reputation of madrasahs among the society in the district of Sidoarjo. The result of the study illustrates that the managerial role in madrasahs are: 1) as figure, 2) as leader, 3) as allocator of resources, 4) as problem solver, 5) as speaker, 6) as entrepreneur, 7) as information disseminator, 8) as negotiator, 9) as communicator/link, and 10) as monitor. From the test it was found that  there is difference in roles played by the principals yet it does not affect the job satisfaction of the teachers and not the reputation of madrasahs among the society as well. Based on the result of the study the researcher suggests that those roles are depicted in more practical and doable forms. Secondly, it is important to advance the madrasahs principals'competence in decisional and informational skills. This is important to help the principals progress quickly.
