Abstract

Abstract: Character education is an effort to form a good personality in students, in supporting the implementation of strengthening good school cultural character education is the most important thing in shaping children's character. This study aims to describe in detail the application of management to strengthen character education through school culture at SD Plus Rahmat Kota Kediri. The method used in this research is to use a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The key informants in this study were the principal and supported by additional informants, namely the deputy principal, research and development foundations, field coordinators, and level coordinators. The data were then analyzed through the process of data collection, reduction, presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the management of strengthening character education through school culture had a significant impact in the form of increasing the character and academic and non-academic achievements of children at school. Abstrak: Pendidikan karakter merupakan suatu upaya untuk membentuk kepribadian yang baik pada peserta didik, dalam menunjang pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter budaya sekolah yang baik merupakan hal terpenting dalam pembentukan karakter anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara rinci penerapan manajemen penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SD Plus Rahmat Kota Kediri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Key informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah dan didukung informan tambahan yaitu wakil kepala sekolah, litbang yayasan, koordinator bidang, dan koordinator jenjang. Data kemudian dianalisis melalui proses pengumpulan data, reduksi, presentasi dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah memberikan dampak signifikan berupa peningkatan karakter dan prestasi akademik dan non akademik anak di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the results of the implementation of clinical supervision in improving the quality of teaching teachers to students. This research was conducted by identifying problems and obstacles faced by teachers during teaching and learning activities, then the principal provided assistance to teachers with a clinical supervision approach. This research was conducted using a literature study method. The problem of teacher professionalism in teaching can be carried out by coaching with the clinical supervision method by the supervisor. Clinical supervision is carried out by observing the learning process by the teacher directly and then discussing the resolution of teaching problems. This study uses a literature study method which then obtains literacy data in the form of factors that affect teacher performance and the clinical supervision process. By reviewing several studies on clinical supervision, it can be seen that the provision of clinical supervision to overcome the obstacles and problems of teachers in teaching is carried out through 3 stages, namely the meeting stage, the observation stage and the feedback stage. By providing feedback by the principal to the teacher in the form of directions and possible solutions, the quality of teacher teaching can increase.Keywords: clinicalisupervision, teacher quality, elementary schoolAbstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui hasil pelaksanaan supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan kualitas mengajar guru terhadap peserta didik. penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi masalah dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru selama kegiatan belajar mengajar, kemudian kepala sekolah memberikan bantuan kepada guru dengan pendekatan supervisi klinis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur. permasalahan profesionalisme guru dalam mengajar dapat dilakukan pembinaan dengan metode supervisi klinis oleh supervisor. Supervisi klinis dilakukan dengan mengobservasi proses pembelajaran oleh guru secara langsung kemudian mendiskusikan penyelesaian masalah pengajarannya. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur yang selanjutnya didapat data literasi berupa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru serta proses supervisi klinis. dengan mengkaji beberapa penelitian mengenai Supervisi klinis, dapat diketahui bahwa pemberian supervisi klinis untuk mengatasi kendala dan masalah guru dalam mengajar dilakukan melalui 3 tahapan yakni tahap pertemuan, tahap observasi dan tahap balikan. Dengan memberikan umpan balik oleh kepala sekolah kepada guru berupa arahan dan solusi yang mungkin dapat ditempuh, maka kualitas mengajar guru dapat meningkat.Kata kunci: supervisi klinis, kualitas guru, sekolah dasar

Abstract

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum, as the latest innovation in the world of Indonesian education, raises a number of problems in the process of implementing it in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, especially for teachers. This article analyzes the problems that arise, especially related to curriculum planning and organization. The method used is a descriptive survey, data were collected from teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Trenggalek. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a lack of understanding of the independent curriculum, difficulties in preparing documents and learning tools for the independent curriculum, inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Lack of participation in intensive training and technical guidance results in a lack of understanding of the substance of the curriculum being the main factor behind this problem. In the face of these challenges, a number of alternative solutions were proposed, including intensive training, comparative studies, teacher working groups, and improved technological facilities and infrastructure

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of elementary school management programs using the Countenance Stake model. Quantitative approach is used in this research. The population of this study was the principals of district/city public elementary schools in East Java Province, totaling 1,323 people. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling and simple random sampling, with a total of 290 people or 22 percent of the population. Data collection was carried out using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis using path coefficient testing. The results showed that the strategic planning and financing management variables had a greater direct influence than the indirect influence through school culture and principal performance on school quality. Meanwhile, the variables of organizing, curriculum management, student management, education staff management, facility and infrastructure management, financing management, and community participation management have a greater indirect effect than the indirect effect through school culture and school principals' performance on school quality. Preparation (antecedents) as in the Countenance Stake model, has a direct influence on transactions and outcomes. Keywords: Program Evaluation, Elementary School Management, Countenance Stake Model. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui evaluasi program manajemen sekolah dasar menggunakan model Countenance Stake. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah dasar negeri kabupaten/kota Provinsi Jawa Timur yang berjumlah 1.323 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu cluster random sampling dan simple random sampling, dengan jumlah 290 orang atau 22 persen dari populasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berbentuk angket. Analisis data menggunakan pengujian koefisien jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel strategi perencanaan dan manajemen pembiayaan memberikan pengaruh langsung lebih besar dibandingkan pengaruh tidak langsung melalui budaya sekolah dan kinerja kepala sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah. Sementara itu, variabel pengorganisasian, manajemen kurikulum, manajemen siswa, manajemen tenaga pendidikan, manajemen sarana dan prasarana, manajemen pembiayaan, dan manajemen partisipasi masyarakat memberikan pengaruh tidak langsung lebih besar dibandingkan pengaruh tidak langsung melalui budaya sekolah dan kinerja kepala sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah. Persiapan (antecedents) seperti dalam model Countenance Stake, memberikan pengaruh secara langsung terhadap transaksi dan hasil (outcome). Kata kunci: Evaluasi Program, Manajemen Sekolah Dasar, Model Countenance Stake.

Abstract

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik kepemimpinankepala sekolah dasar dalam latar budaya masyarakat Pendalungan, (2) mendeskripsikannilainilaiyang diterapkan oleh sekolah dalam budaya masyarakat Pendalungan, (3) menemukenalimodel peningkatan profesionalisme guru yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dasar dalam latarbudaya masyarakat Pendalungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif denganjenis penelitian fenomenologis sosiologis.Sumber data terdiri dari dua macam, yaitu insani(kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa) dan non insani (literatur dan bahan cetakan yang relevan).Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Analisisdata dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian adalah (1)Kepemimpinankepala sekolah bersifat terbuka, bijaksana dan berwibawa terutama dalam pengambilankeputusan dengan kebijakan yang dibuat dengan melibatkan seluruh guru, (2) nilai-nilai yangditerapkan oleh sekolah berdasarkan nilai budaya masyarakat Pendalungan dan nilai-nilaiIslam, dan (3) pengembangan profesionalisme guru dalam rangka peningkatan kemampuanpersonel sekolah melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya dilakukan dalam berbagai teknik.Kata kunci: kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, profesionalisme guru, budaya PendalunganAbtract: This study aims to (1) describe the characteristics of the leadership of schoolprincipals in the background of Pendalungan culture, (2) describe the values applied by thePendalungan culture, (3) identify the model of improving the professionalism of elementaryschool teacher conducted by principal in the background of Pendalungan culture. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher professionalism, the influence between instructional supervision on teacher professionalism and the simultaneous influence of principal leadership and instructional supervision on teacher professionalism. This research was carried out at the State High School (SMAN) and the State Vocational High School (SMKN) in Malang City as a research population, as sampling was carried out through purposive random sampling. The research method uses a quantitative approach, namely to see the partial influence between existing variable variables. This study uses a regression analysis that aims to determine the influence between independent variables on dependent variables. The independent variables in this study are principal leadership (X1) and principal supervision (X2), while the dependent variables are teacher professional competence (Y). The result of this study is that there is a simultaneous relationship between the leadership of the principal and the supervision of learning to the professionalism of teachers at State High School and the State Vocational High School in Malang City. The degree of influence can be categorized at a strong level, this is known from the magnitude of the correlation coefficient value of 0.862 which means it has a strong category. Meanwhile, the variable influence of principal leadership and instructional supervision had an influence of 74.3% on teacher professionalism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the strategies of modeling, monitoring, professional dialogue, and the effectiveness of the principal’s learning leadership to teachers during the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. A quantitative approach was used in this research. The population of this research is the principals of public elementary schools in Malang City, Malang Regency, and Batu City, East Java Province, Indonesia, amounting to 1,323. The sample selection used was random sampling, with a total of 290 people or 22 percent of the population. Data analysis used path coefficient analysis. The results showed that strategies of modeling, monitoring, and professional dialogue affected the effectiveness of learning leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This literature review research aims to synthesize the global competencies and outcomes of world-class universities in Indonesia. In conducting the literature review on global competence and world-class university outcomes in Indonesia, the researcher used a careful approach that included several steps. First, a precise research problem was formulated, sharpening the intersection between global competencies and the performance of world-class universities in Indonesia. After the collection of relevant literature, the researcher critically evaluated the collected data in terms of its contribution to the overarching research question. Through careful analysis and interpretation, the researcher synthesized the findings, identifying patterns, differences, and areas that warrant further investigation.  The data collected was based on searches in Publish or Perish - Harzing in 2024 according to search engine guidelines from library professionals and a trial of words and combinations for different possibilities and percentages of relevant research articles on selected criteria. The results show that achieving world-class university status in Indonesia is strongly related to the development and improvement of global competencies in higher education institutions. Transformation driven by globalization requires students, lecturers and administrators to be equipped with the skills to thrive in a global academic environment.
