Abstract

Composite Stock Price Index (IDX) shows the movement of stock prices used by investors to determine their investment strategy. IDX movement is influenced by macroeconomic factors such as money supply and inflation, so regression analysis is used to determine the relationship between the variables. Based on the scatterplot, money supply is known as a parametric predictor variable as it has a linier line patterned scatterplot and inflation is a nonparametric predictor variable as it has a random patterned scatterplot, so semiparametric regression modelling is used for the analysis. Kernel regression was chosen to analyze the nonparametric component based on the random patterned scatterplot of inflation. This study aims to obtain the results of semiparametric kernel regression modelling analysis and to create a GUI to be applied to the analysis as a development of previous similar studies that still done based on CLI. This study uses monthly data from January 2013 to December 2020 with the proportion of in sample and out sample data distribution 87,5%:12,5%. Based on the smallest MSE value as the best model criteria, semiparametric regression model with triangle kernel function is the best model obtained with optimal bandwidth=3.24,  which means the model is strong and  which means that the forecasting results are very accurate. GUI has been created according to the needs of the modelling analysis implementation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon dosen dan kaprodi terhadap pembukaan prodi PBA di UT dengan sistem pendidikan jarak jauh, mendeskripiskan tren mahasiswa untuk memilih prodi PBA, dan menjelaskan sistem pembelajaran PBA di beberapa universitas di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1). dosen dan kaprodi dari universitas lain sangat mendukung UT untuk membuka prodi PBA dengan sistem PJJ; 2). Tren minat mahasiswa untuk memilih prodi PBA meningkat: 3). saat ini sistem pembelajaran di universitas lain menggunakan online dan offline dengan tujuan memiliki lulusan pendidik bahasa arab dan profesi lainnya yang relevan dengan keterampilan yang diajarkan pada prodi masing-masing.

Abstract

The quality of learning strongly influences the success of education. Pancasila education is a crucial lesson taught in elementary schools because it directs the behavior and character of students so that it conforms to the norms, customs, and rules that apply. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the material of cooperation lifestyle by applying the Quiz Team learning method at Elementary School. This research uses classroom action research or PTK by applying the research design from Kemmis & Taggart covering four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Godog 01, totaling 17 students. Data collection techniques through learning achievement tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was descriptive qualitative, and quantitative. The indicator of success is ?75% of the number of students who have exceeded the specified KKM. The results showed that the application of the Quiz team learning method to the Pancasila Education subject was able to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Godog 01. Before being given action, the acquisition of student learning outcomes that exceeded the KKM was only 12 students or equivalent to 70.5%. In the action activities of the first cycle, students who exceeded the KKM were still the same as before, but there was an increase in the average class value of 78 to 82. In cycle II, as many as 15 (88.2%) exceeded the completeness score. The class average cycle I and II scores rose from 82 to 85. In conclusion, the quiz team method was effectively used to improve learning outcomes in the material of the cooperation lifestyle of elementary school students. Overall, this research contributes to improving learning outcomes that end at students' academic level.

Abstract

The Independent Learning and Independent Campus (MBKM) curriculum for vocational education provided learning experiences for students. However, the reading material conducted had not reached the curriculum target. Thus, this study aimed to develop critical reading material and worksheets based on the MBKM curriculum. The development procedure was designed in three stages: defining, designing, and developing for 3-D aids. The research resources employed were validation sheets for critical reading aids and semi-observation sheets to provide student activity during PjBL field trial. The results of this study were project-based learning (PjBL) used to construct English language learning aids for the syllabus and coursework units, including worksheets for critical reading. Hence, this learning aid could slightly enhance students' reading competence, which could lead them to have soft and hard skills as well as meet the MBKM curriculum target.

proses sains yang baik akan mampu menguasai materi pelajaran dan memiliki pola pikir yang ilmiah dan sistematis, baik saat proses pembelajaran maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Walaupun penting bagi siswa namun beberapa fakta menunjukkan siswa masih memiliki kesulitan dalam melakukan proses sains. Dalam melaksanakan proses sains, siswa masih kesulitan dalam merumuskan hipotesis, mengidentifikasi variabel, dan merancang penyelidikan. Untuk itu dicobakan pembelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan model inkuiri untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa di sekolah dasar. Pembelajaran dilakukan selama tiga kali pertemuan pada tiga sekolah yang berbeda. Tahapan pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai dari pemberian pre-test. Selanjutnya guru melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan model inkuiri dan diakhir dengan memberikan soal post-test untuk mengukur ketercapaian keterampilan proses sains siswa. Proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan sintaks pembelajaran model inkuiri. Pada setiap pembelajaran, siswa melakukan penyelidikan ilmiah pada materi pelajaran sifat-sifat wujud benda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan. Siswa mampu memberikan gagasan berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan penyelidikan ilmiah. Siswa mampu membuat hipotesis dan melakukan pembuktian dengan melakukan penyelidikan ilmiah dan mempresentasikan pengetahuan sains.

Abstract

Sebagai bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan, pendidik profesional menjadi kebutuhan esensial di institusi pendidikan. Guru, memiliki peran kunci dalam proses pembelajaran, baik itu dalam konteks pendidikan formal maupun nonformal. Oleh karena itu, guru diharapkan terus meningkatkan kualitas kerjanya agar mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis eksplanatif untuk menjelaskan pengaruh budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMP di Kabupaten Magetan. Di dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan dua jenis variabel, yaitu variabel independen berupa budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja. Variabel dependennya adalah kinerja guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru SMP di Kabupaten Magetan sebanyak 39 SMP Negeri dengan jumlah guru seribu enam orang. Dalam penelitian ini, sampel terdiri dari Guru SMPN Kabupaten Magetan. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua jenis teknik pengambilan sampel, yaitu probability sampling dan non-probability sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner atau angket dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linier berganda yang dilakukan ada pengaruh antara budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Service Excellent and Service with Care on Service Quality at RSI Garam Kalianget. In addition, this study also aims to examine the effect of Service Excellent and Service with Care on Community Culture at RSI Garam Kalianget. This study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 120 respondents from urban, rural and island areas. The results of the study show that Service Excellent and Service with Care have a positive and significant impact on Service Quality. In addition, Service Excellent also has a positive and significant impact on Community Culture, as well as Service with Care. These results indicate that the implementation of superior service and attention to customer care simultaneously contribute to improving service quality in this hospital, and Community Culture acts as a mediating variable that influences the relationship between service and service quality. This research contributes by expanding understanding of the factors that play a role in improving service quality and the role of community culture as an important mediator in this relationship.

Abstract

The learning process of writing fiction stories can be developed through storyboard learning media so that students' writing skills can improve. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and practicality of the developed storyboards and their effectiveness in improving the ability to write fiction stories. The method used is a combined method and this type of research is development (RnD) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 21 students of class VI A MI Masjid Al Akbar Surabaya. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, pre-test and post-test sheets, student response sheets and filling out validation instrument sheets. The results showed that the storyboards developed proved to be valid, practical, and effective for improving fiction writing skills in grade VI MI students. The data obtained was also reinforced in the analysis of the SPSS application which obtained significant values of .000 < 0.05 which means there is a difference in pre-test and post-test results.

Abstract

The economic development of a country can be seen based on the capital market that was growing and developing. One of the most popular capital market instruments is stocks. Stocks based on market capitalization groups include longitudinal data. One of the statistical methods for longitudinal data modelling is nonparametric regression which has no modelling assumptions requirement. This research models monthly stock prices using a nonparametric local polynomial method with the selection of the best model which has minimum value of Mean Square Error (MSE). The data was divided into 2 parts, namely in sample data from November, 2018 to June, 2021 to form a model and out sample data from July, 2021 to February, 2022 used for evaluation of model performance by Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) values. The best model is the local polynomial model with Biweight kernel function of degree 5, local point of 4, bandwidth of 37, and MSE value of 0.03481085. MAPE out sample of data value is 31.13%, which indicating that the model has sufficient forecasting. In this research arrange Graphical User Interface (GUI) by using R software with shiny package is built to make display output data analyzing more easy and more interactive.

Abstract

Transportation is important things to support mobility. The high level of mobility is in line with the growth of vehicles which has increased causing congestion on roads. Highways are one of the government’s efforts to reduce congestion. Gayamsari Toll Gate is one of the toll gates in Semarang City that experiencing the phenomenon of queuing when paying tolls. This study aims to determine the operation of the service system by obtaining a queuing model and system performance measures from the distribution of arrivals and services. Bayesian method is used to determine the distribution of arrivals and services by finding the posterior distribution. The combination of the sample likelihood function and the prior distribution is known as Bayesian method. The prior distribution used is the previous research data which produces a negative binomial distribution. The likelihood function of the arrival sample in this study is discrete uniform and the likelihood function of the service sample produces a negative binomial distribution. The results are the queuing system model is (Beta/Beta/5): (GD/∞/∞). Based on the results of the queue simulation, we can assume that the service system is optimal.
