Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive for science subjects related to the Circulatory System Material for Grade V of State Elementary School 30 Pontianak Selatan. This research and development used the 4D model (Four-D) consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Quantitative data results from the lift filled in by experts and students. Qualitative data were obtained from suggestions and notes by experts and students. The instruments used were interview guidelines, questionnaires, and documentation. The feasibility level of interactive teaching materials was based on the results of assessments by material experts, design experts, and language experts, while the practicality level of teaching materials was based on the results of student assessments. The feasibility of the material in the aspect of material obtained an average value of 80% and was considered "feasible". The feasibility of the materials in the design aspects obtained an average value of 85% and was considered "feasible". The feasibility of the materials in the language aspects obtained an average value of 100% and was considered "very feasible". The practicality of teaching materials obtained an average value of 85% and was considered "Practical".

Abstract

The success of Indonesia's education digitization program is highly dependent on the readiness of three aspects that can at least be said to be good enough in responding to digital-based education namely, regulators, teachers or teachers, and students. With the government assistance program in the form of ICT equipment for elementary schools in the form of chromebooks, it is hoped that digitalization-based learning can be realized. Sungai Kakap 18 Public Elementary School is a driving school that has received chromebook assistance from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of learning by utilizing chromebooks in class IV SD Negeri 18 Sungai Kakap. This type of research used qualitative research. The data source for this research is a person, namely the homeroom teacher. The data collection technique used is technical triangulation, with data collection tools used interviews and observation sheets. Qualitative data analysis is inductive in nature including data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification). Based on the results of the studies that have been carried out, it can be interpreted that 1) the teacher has utilized most of the existing applications in the cromebook cromebook in science learning in grade 4; 2) The interaction between students and teachers has a high intensity when compared to the learning process which is carried out without using chromebook media; 3) The use of digital cromebook media in social studies learning shows that it is quite adequate in most of the applications commonly used in learning activities; 4) Student responses to the features of the Chromebook used during science teaching and learning activities in class; for them it is very pleasant, the more excited; learning using chromebooks makes it easier for them to understand learning and easily find learning material or resources; and 5) Students don't feel the need to carry a lot of books every day to attend lessons at school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using powerpoint learning media in thematic learning on cognitive learning outcomes of fifth grade students of State Elementary School 06 South Pontianak. The research method used is an experiment with a form of quasi-experimental design, experimental design nonequivalent control group design. uth Pontianak. The sample was determined by probability sampling saturated sampling type, the experimental class and control class were randomly selected by drawing, namely class VA totaling 27 students as the control class and VB totaling 27 students as the experimental class. Data collection techniques using measurement techniques. The instrument used was a multiple choice learning outcome test totaling 40 questions. Based on the calculation of hypothesis testing using SPSS, the tcount is 3.741 with the ttable for the significance level (α = 5% and dk = 27+27-2 = 52) of 1.674689, because the tcount> ttable, Ha is accepted. This proves that there is an effect of using powerpoint learning media in thematic learning on cognitive learning outcomes of fifth grade students of State Elementary School 06 South Pontianak. The results of the calculation of effect size (ES) obtained amounted to 1,03 including high criteria, so it can be concluded that powerpoint learning media in thematic learning has a high influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of grade V students of State Elementary School 06 South Pontianak.

Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials for folklore based on local wisdom of West Kalimantan in thematic learning for fourth graders of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Pontianak Tenggara. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model with analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation steps. Quantitative data sources in this study were the results of material expert validation, the results of media expert validation, and the results of filling out the practicality questionnaire of teaching materials by students and teachers. Qualitative data were obtained from notes, suggestions and comments from validators, teachers and students. Research instruments in the form of interview guidelines, questionnaires and documentation. The feasibility level of teaching materials validated to media experts obtained an average of 4.4 in the "Very Valid" category with the eligibility level of teaching materials validated to material experts obtaining an average of 4.3 in the "Very Valid" category. From the data validation results by two validators, an average recapitulation result of 4.3 can be obtained with the category "Very Valid" so that the teaching material is feasible to be tested. The practicality level of small-scale trial teaching materials obtained an average of 4.2 in the "Practical" category and the practicality level of large-scale trial teaching materials obtained an average of 4.4 in the "Very Practical" category. The results of research on the practicality of teaching materials by teachers obtained an average of 4.3 in the "Very Practical" category.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are conditions under which students cannot learn as they should. By understanding the learning difficulties experienced by students, teachers can provide reasonable learning efforts according to the situation of students in class. This study aims to determine student learning difficulties in thematic learning, which then determines the causal factors and efforts to overcome student learning difficulties in Class V at SD Negeri 36 Pontianak Kota. The research method used was qualitative descriptive research. The data collection methods used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The research steps used in the data analysis were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.Based on the results of the study, it was found that the learning difficulties experienced by the students were dyslexia (reading difficulties), dysgraphia (writing difficulties), dyscalculia (numeracy difficulties), underachievers (underachievement), and slow learners (slow learning). Internal and external factors influence students’ learning difficulties. Internal factors include psychological factors such as intelligence, learning attitudes, and learning motivation. External factors that come from outside the student's self, include learning methods and the family environment. The efforts made by the teacher to overcome student learning difficulties are to provide repeated exercises, use visual aids, and remedial material on material that has not been mastered.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of basic questioning skills and advanced questioning skills of third grade teachers of SD Negeri 13 West Pontianak. The sub-problems in this study are how is the teacher's ability to apply basic questioning skills in thematic learning? How is the teacher's ability to apply advanced questioning skills in thematic learning? And what is the impact of the application of teacher questioning skills on student learning outcomes in thematic learning. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data sources of this research were teachers and students of class III B of SD Negeri 13 West Pontianak. Data collection instruments in this study were researchers, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used an interactive model with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research on the application of basic questioning skills of class III B teachers of SD Negeri 13 West Pontianak, namely from 6 components of basic questioning skills, only 5 components are well implemented, there is 1 component whose indicators have not been implemented, namely the question redirection component. While the application of advanced questioning skills of class III B teachers of SD Negeri 13 West Pontianak from 4 components of advanced questioning skills has been well implemented, but there is 1 component that has not been mastered, namely the tracer question component.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing a multi-split model based on a hands on-mind on approach in elementary schools. The research method used is a mixed method, combining quantitative and qualitative methods in a series of studies. This research also uses RD (Research and Development), the Four-D development or 4-D models. The data source in this study was obtained from the results of the validation of the feasibility of developing a multi-split model based on a hands on-mind on approach which two experts in their fields validated. Product development in the form of a learning model, "Multi Split Model Based on Hands On-Mind On Approach" is valid or feasible. Validation was conducted to see the content validity, construct validity, and revision of the learning model. The results of the validation analysis of the feasibility of the development carried out show that the average content validity value of 4.06 is in the valid category, and the construct validity of 4.20 is in the "valid" category with a statement that it can be used with minor revisions. At the same time, the revision of the learning model is based on the value of content and construct validity and suggestions from validators. Based on the validation results, the feasibility level of developing a multi-split model based on a hands on-mind on approach is very good and suitable for use.

Abstract

Studi pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk membuat produk berupa media video pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran tematik untuk siswa kelas IV dengan menggunakan software Powerpoint dan Filmora. Penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) sebagaimana diadaptasi oleh Borg dan Gall adalah metodologi yang digunakan. Penelitian ini mengandalkan wawancara, validasi ahli, tanggapan siswa, dan data observasi yang dikumpulkan melalui penerapan media video pembelajaran berbasis PowerPoint dan Filmora sebagai sumber data. Wawancara, kuesioner, dan catatan tertulis semuanya digunakan untuk mengumpulkan informasi untuk pengembangan dan penyempurnaan studi ini. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, tujuh tahapan (studi pendahuluan dan pengumpulan informasi; perencanaan; pengembangan produk awal; uji coba produk awal; revisi produk awal; uji coba produk lapangan; revisi akhir) dilibatkan dalam proses pembuatan media video pembelajaran menggunakan PowerPoint dan Filmora. Tingkat kelayakan media video pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint dan filmora “Sangat Baik” dilihat dari aspek desain dengan skor rata-rata 3,64, aspek materi dengan skor rata-rata 3,85, dan aspek bahasa dengan skor rata-rata 3,8 serta hasil uji coba produk “Sangat Baik” dengan nilai rata-rata 3,51.

Abstract

The demands of changing times encourage changes in various fields including the field of Education, Education policies in order to improve the quality and quality of Education in Indonesia by improving and updating the curriculum used. The change in the 2013 curriculum to an independent curriculum has had an impact on various components of education including teachers in the implementation of an independent curriculum facing several obstacles. The purpose of this study was to describe the teacher's constraints in implementing the independent curriculum at SDN 74 West Pontianak. This type of research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. The results of the study showed that in implementing the independent curriculum at SDN 74 West Pontianak the teacher experienced obstacles: lack of training related to the independent curriculum, limited learning facilities and infrastructure, limited learning resources for students' textbooks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of problem-based learning model assisted by kahoot digital media on mathematical concept understanding of fifth grade students of SD Mujahidin Pontianak. The method used was an experiment with the form of Quasi-Esperimental Design with the type of non-equivalent control group design. The population was all fifth grade students consisting of 5 classes. The samples of this study were VB class students totaling 29 students and VD class students totaling 27 students. The data collection technique used is the measurement technique and the data collection tool is a written test in the form of multiple choice. Based on data analysis, the average results of the final test of the experimental class were 75.82 and the average final test of the control class was 65.94. the results of hypothesis testing using t-test (separated variance) obtained tcount = 3.337, while for dk (27+28-2 = 54) with a significant level α = 5% obtained ttable = 1.673565 which means tcount > ttable, then accepted, this proves that there is an effect of the problem-based learning model assisted by kahoot digital media on understanding mathematical concepts. Based on the results of the calculation of effect size (ES), ES = 0.81 is obtained which is included in the high criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model assisted by kahoot digital media has a positive influence on the understanding of mathematical concepts of fifth grade students of SD Mujahidin Pontianak.
