Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji validitas, kepraktisan, efikasi, dan motivasi model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada salah SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian dan pengembangan digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Model pengembangan bersifat empat dimensi. Siswa Kelas VIII Connection berpartisipasi. Metodologi pembelajaran berbasis masalah menghasilkan produk perangkat pembelajaran dari penyelidikan ini. Setelah pemeriksaan, modifikasi, dan validasi oleh para profesional dan praktisi, produk ini cocok untuk siswa kelas VIII SPLDV. Penggunaan praktis teknologi pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penerapan keterampilan pemecahan masalah pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar siswa memenuhi persyaratan praktis. Gadget pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang meningkatkan pemecahan masalah matematika dan motivasi siswa memenuhi persyaratan berhasil. Nilai rata-rata N-gain yang sederhana pada uji coba I dan uji coba II sebesar 0,40 dan 0,587 menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis masalah meningkatkan pemecahan masalah matematika. Setelah menggunakan paradigma Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah berbasis indikator, motivasi siswa meningkat pada uji coba I dan I.

Abstract

The study aims to identify differences between improved mathematical reasoning skills of students taught with inquiry approaches and mathematics problem solving education approaches; to determine differences in improved self-confidence of teaching students with inquisition approaches, and in mathematically solving educational approaches. This research is categorized into quasy experimental research. This research is being carried out at one of the Higher Secondary Schools in Labuhan Batu regency in the academic year 2023/2024, with the timetable for the conduct of research coordinated according to the school's activities. The subject of this study is a total of 72 high school X-grade students. The results of this survey show that; there is a difference between improved mathematical reasoning skills of students with inquiry approaches and problem solving approaches; there are differences in improved self-confidence students with Inquiry and Problem Solving Approaches; There is a distinction between inquery and problem-solving mathematics education approaches to enhanced mathematic reasoning ability and self confidence

Abstract

Dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa, penelitian ini berupaya untuk memastikan keabsahan, keberhasilan, dan kegunaan produk LKPD berbasis PBL yang dibuat untuk proses pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024–2025 di SMP N 35 Medan. Pendekatan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE merupakan metodologi penelitian yang digunakan. Siswa kelas VIII-1 menjadi subjek penelitian, dan LKPD berbasis PBL menjadi topik penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, produk LKPD berbasis PBL dinilai praktis dengan persentase angket respon guru sebesar 93,42% dan persentase angket respon siswa sebesar 82,60%, keduanya termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis; juga dinilai valid dengan rata-rata 86,80% untuk ahli media dan 84,71% untuk ahli materi, sehingga layak untuk diimplementasikan; dan meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa berdasarkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,69 dengan kategori peningkatan sedang. LKPD berbasis PBL yang dihasilkan layak, efektif, dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika serta dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa, berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji efektivitas, dan uji praktikalitas.

Abstract

Guru sering kali memaksakan cara mengajar tanpa mempertimbangkan kebutuhan, minat, dan bakat anak yang relevan. Mereka hanya menggunakan metode tradisional, karena dianggap lebih praktis dibandingkan dengan metode lainnya. Salah satu cara yang dapat melibatkan siswa adalah model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Model CTL merupakan pendekatan belajar yang membantu guru mengaitkan materi pengajaran dengan situasi nyata yang dialami siswa, serta mendorong siswa untuk menghubungkan pengetahuan yang dimiliki dengan penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode analisis meta. Pencarian jurnal dilakukan melalui program Google Cendekia dan Google Scholar dengan kata kunci yang berkaitan dengan model CTL. Dari analisis berbagai jurnal penelitian, ditemukan bahwa model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning sangat cocok diterapkan dalam proses belajar di sekolah, baik di tingkat dasar maupun menengah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kenyataan bahwa penerapan model CTL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa. Model pembelajaran CTL memiliki keuntungan berupa proses belajar yang lebih produktif dan kemampuan memperkuat pemahaman siswa, karena dalam model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), siswa diharapkan untuk menemukan pengetahuan mereka sendiri.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and map the results of previous research on factors that can increase scientific literacy for prospective elementary school or Madrasah Ibtidaiah (MI) teacher students using a meta-analysis study. Journals were obtained using AI elicitation and consensus. Scientific literacy must be instilled in prospective teacher students, because scientific literacy is a 21st century requirement that must be possessed by students, especially elementary school students. Previous research results showed that the scientific literacy of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Teacher Education students was still low. The integration of instilling scientific literacy values ​​in science learning in elementary schools is expected to increase the scientific literacy of students in Indonesia. These factors can be improved in various ways, such as using scientific learning models, learning media, ethnoscience-based learning, and improving science concepts in science learning at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui keabsahan dan kepraktisan modul matematika berbasis model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa; mengetahui kepraktisan modul; dan mengetahui model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa salah satu SMP Negeri di Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul matematika berbasis pembelajaran berbasis masalah valid dan  praktis.  Modul matematika berbasis pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa SMP kelas VIII. Hasil N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa modul matematika berbasis masalah berbasis PBL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas VIII dari uji coba I sampai uji coba II

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to solve problems and think critically through problem-based learning. The problem-based learning framework supports talent abilities by shaping students' thinking. This study involved students of class VIII-A SMP PGRI 4 Medan. The research approach used descriptive qualitative. SMP PGRI 4 Medan became the locus of the 2024/2025 research. This study used interviews and assessments of problem solving and critical thinking. The results showed that students' mathematical problem solving abilities averaged 65, which was moderate. Students' critical thinking averaged 66.9, which was moderate. The difficulties faced by students by comparing the results of the interview can be seen that students have difficulties in the four indicators of problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Where students ignore or do not recheck or draw conclusions and only concentrate on the solution procedure. This study shows that students have moderate problem solving and critical thinking skills when dealing with a system of linear equations of two variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the use of deductive reasoning and mathematical problem solving skills based on Adversity Quotient (AQ). The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The instruments in this study were deductive reasoning and problem solving ability test questions, and AQ questionnaires. The number of respondents in the study was 20 students. Respondents were divided into three types, namely Quitter, Camper, and Climber. The results showed that students with the Quitter type were only able to make calculations based on rules/formulas, but had not been able to draw conclusions and compile direct proof steps so that the problem solving indicators had not been achieved optimally. Students with the Camper type were able to make calculations based on rules or formulas, and were able to plan and implement plans in the problem solving aspect. Students with the Climber type were able to meet all indicators of deductive reasoning and problem solving in understanding problems, planning, implementing plans, and re-checking
