Abstract

School principals have a strategic role in introducing entrepreneurship to teachers. This research aims to discover the program, strategies, and supporting factors and obstacles for school principals in introducing entrepreneurship in kindergarten at the Kuta Alam District Activity Center (PKG) in Banda Aceh. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The research results showed that the program to introduce entrepreneurship had been prepared at the beginning of the semester, involving the principal, senior teachers, and supervisors. Still, they were not complete and not well-detailed. The principal's strategy for introducing entrepreneurship is to involve all school personnel. This activity is part of the implementation of P5 in the independent curriculum, such as implementing market day. This study contributes by providing insight into the importance of careful planning and structural support to strengthen the implementation of entrepreneurship programs in early childhood education. The implication is the need for policies that encourage ongoing training for teachers and adequate funding for the program's success to build an entrepreneurial culture from an early age in the educational environment.

Abstract

Pekerja migran purna merupakan komunitas yang belum banyak tersentuh wawasan kewirausahaan dan ketrampilan berbisnis. Namun banyak diantara mereka yang bergelut di bidang kewirausahaan. Faktor yang menodrong keputusan mereka menjadi wirausahawan adalah memiliki kebebasan dalam bekerja, tidak dibatasi oleh waktu dan optimis untuk keberhasilan dirinya. Kondisi di lapangan ditemukan kendala yang dihadapi yaitu minimnya pengetahuan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk bisnis, terutama kendala pemasaran pasca produksi. Transformasi perilaku ke produktif dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital merupakan rumusan masalah bagi tim pengabdian untuk mengadakan kegiatan pelatihan wirausaha bagi para pekerja migran purna. Teknologi digital saat ini telah menjadi bagian integral bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat, terutama bagi pekerja migran purna. Program pemberdayaan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan ketrampilan dan sukses menciptakan usaha-usaha baru agar mereka lebih mandiri di negeri sendiri, sebagai upaya resiliensi sosial dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri atas perencanaan, pada tahap ini dilakukan koordinasi tim dengan mitra perihal pelaksanaan kegiatan. Berikutnya tahap pelaksanaan, yang dilakukan melalui pelatihan untuk menguatkan motivasi dan semangat berwirausaha agar mampu menguasai teknik pemasaran secara digital sehingga mampu bersaing di pasar Nasional bahkan Internasional. Terakhir adalah tahap pendampingan dan evaluasi. Dari 25 pekerja migran purna didapatkan hasil sebesar 16% atau sebanyak 4 orang yang membutuhkan dukungan psikologis lebih lanjut. Sebagai tindak lanjut tim pengabdian memfasilitasi layanan konseling yang dipandu langsung oleh psikolog sekaligus membidangi masalah digital marketing.

Abstract

Batu Napar Village is in the Jerowaru District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Tempe is a typical Indonesian food made from soybeans. Tempe is a healthy food because it contains various nutrients needed by the body. Tempe has many ingredients such as phosphorus, iron, vitamins B, C, and also anti-oxidants. In Batu Napar Village there are children with cases of stunting and malnutrition. Therefore, the Unram KKNT together with the Batu Napar Village PKK and Posyandu cadres made an innovation in the form of processing tempeh into tempeh brownies as an effort to fulfill nutrition for children and pregnant women through making healthy food. This healthy food counseling and demonstration activity received a very positive response from the community. Many people feel helped by this activity.

Abstract

Introduction: Food taboos during pregnancy are common cultural practices in many developing countries. While intended to protect maternal and fetal health, these taboos often contradict recommended nutritional guidelines and may contribute to maternal undernutrition. Objective: This study aims to analyze global research trends on food taboos among pregnant women using a bibliometric approach to identify knowledge gaps and emerging themes. Method: A bibliometric analysis was conducted using data retrieved from the Scopus database covering publications from 2000 to 2024. The data were analyzed using VOSviewer software to map publication patterns, keyword co-occurrence, and thematic clusters. Results: A total of 55 relevant articles were identified. The number of publications began to increase significantly in 2013, peaking in 2019. Most research originated from developing countries, notably Ethiopia and Nigeria, with a disciplinary focus on medicine, agricultural and biological sciences, nursing, and social sciences. The bibliometric mapping identified three main thematic clusters: (1) food taboos and dietary preferences, (2) health knowledge and attitudes, and (3) maternal nutritional status linked to socioeconomic factors. Emerging keywords included nutrition, anemia, diet, and undernutrition. However, key issues such as socioeconomic dimensions and dietary diversity remain underexplored. Conclusion: Research on food taboos in pregnancy is growing but remains geographically and thematically concentrated. Future studies should adopt interdisciplinary and culturally sensitive approaches to address the nutritional implications of food taboos during pregnancy. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and researchers in designing effective maternal health interventions.

Abstract

This research was aimed to reveal the meaning of managing fishermen income based on the philosophical values of lopi sandeq. Phenomenology was the method used, with Mandar fishermen as informants. The results showed that the philosophical values of lopi sandeq also influenced the informants in managing their income. The spiritual values in the philosophy of lopi sandeq were reflected on informants’ qana'ah attitude and their standpoint that the uncertain income and the conditions of famine experienced were interpreted as sustenance and the will of Allah SWT. The value of togetherness in the philosophy of lopi sandeq was manifested in the form of cooperation and mutual trust between the informants and their wives in managing the income and financial transparency through verbal communication. The management of fishermen income was interpreted as a separation between meeting daily needs and personal finances through savings and investment activities. This separation was realized by budgeting expenses and avoiding debt. This management income reflected the value of simplicity in the lopi sandeq philosophy.

Abstract

 21st-century education demands the development of student character that is not only academically intelligent but also possesses a visionary leadership spirit and the ability to compete globally. This article aims to explore strategies and approaches for cultivating student leadership from an early age, with a focus on integrating leadership values, strengthening character, and leveraging global technology. This approach includes curriculum development, extracurricular activities, leadership training, and international collaboration. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation related to student development activities. The findings indicate that student leadership is strengthened through the integration of character-based curricula, leadership training, international collaboration, and the use of technology and digitalization. The study concludes that visionary leadership can be instilled through a holistic, contextual, and globally competitive education process. Vocational education plays a crucial role in preparing young generations who are not only technically skilled but also possess strong leadership character and the ability to compete on a global scale

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using interactive learning media Canva in improving the learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Cijantung 01 on the topic of two-dimensional shapes. Method: The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Data were collected through observation, learning achievement tests, and student response questionnaires. Result: The results showed that Canva media increased student engagement, clarified the material, and made the learning process more enjoyable. The average student score increased from 66 before the cycles to 81 at the end of the second cycle. Novelty: This proves that Canva interactive media is effective for teaching mathematics in elementary schools, offering a modern, student-centered approach that enhances both understanding and enthusiasm in mathematical learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of a character-based early childhood education (ECE) curriculum in fostering prayer habits among young children at TK ABA Kartini, Binjai City Branch. Employing a qualitative ethnographic approach, the research involved 25 kindergarten B students, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. Findings indicate that the cultivation of religious character—particularly discipline in worship—is facilitated by systematic habituation and consistent teacher role-modeling during daily routines, such as ablution and congregational duha prayers. Teachers serve as exemplars in project-based learning, integrating religious values into thematic activities. The adoption of deep learning strategies enables students to move beyond imitation, promoting reflective understanding and internalization of positive behaviors. Notable behavioral changes include increased independence, responsibility, and regularity in performing prayers, both at school and at home. These results underscore the pivotal function of teachers as role models in nurturing religious character from early childhood through holistic and contextual educational practices.

Abstract

Kecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan situasi gawat darurat yang membutuhkan pertolongan pertama secara cepat dan tepat, sehingga edukasi simulasi pertolongan pertama perlu dilakukan kepada anggota PMR. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh simulasi pertolongan pertama kecelakaan lalu lintas terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap anggota PMR di SMA Negeri 1 Dolopo.  Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Pre-Experimental dengan model desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa anggota PMR SMAN 1 Dolopo sebanyak 28 orang dengan teknik purposive sampling sesuai kriteria inklusi.  Hasil uji statistik isimpulkan terdapat pengaruh simulasi pertolongan pertama kecelakaan lalu lintas terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap anggota PMR di SMAN 1 Dolopo. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu simulasi pertolongan pertama kecelakaan lalu lintas memiliki pengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap anggota PMR SMAN 1 Dolopo. Diharapkan pengetahuan dan sikap tersebut dapat diterapkan di lingkungan sosialnya

Abstract

Background: Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang serius di Indonesia dan erat kaitannya dengan kondisi kesehatan ibu selama kehamilan, termasuk kebugaran fisik. Rendahnya kapasitas VO₂Max pada ibu hamil dapat menghambat distribusi oksigen dan nutrisi ke janin, yang berpotensi memicu gangguan pertumbuhan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan pekerjaan rumah tangga sebagai bentuk aktivitas fisik yang aman bagi ibu hamil guna meningkatkan kebugaran dan mencegah stunting Metode: Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendidikan masyarakat, pelatihan, konsultasi, advokasi, dan difusi ipteks. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner Skala Borg dan  pengukuran  VO₂Max  serta  SpO₂  sebelum  dan  sesudah intervensi. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata VO₂Max dari 31,18 menjadi 34,28 ml/kg/menit, penurunan Skala Borg dari 15–18 menjadi 6–8, serta peningkatan saturasi oksigen. Kesimpulan: Optimalisasi pekerjaan rumah tangga terbukti efektif meningkatkan kebugaran ibu hamil yang berdampak positif pada upaya pencegahan stunting.
