Abstract

One approach taken to reduce the prevalence of stunting is by providing additional recovery food to malnourished toddlers. The Rumah Pelita supplementary food program has been running in Kedung Banteng District since 2020. In the implementation of the Rumah Pelita Program, there are still existing cases of stunting and the nutritional status of targets and there has never been an evaluation of the Rumah Pelita program. The aim of the research is to determine the evaluation of the supplementary feeding program made from local food in Kedungbanteng District, Tegal Regency in terms of input, process and output aspects. This research method is qualitative research which is descriptive and evaluative in nature. The research period is January-March 2023. The research was conducted in 5 villages in the Kedungbanteng Community Health Center area. The main informants were 1 nutrition officer and 5 village midwives, and triangulation informants were 5 Rumah Pelita cadres and 5 mothers of toddlers. Data collection used in-depth interviews, while the source triangulation method was used to validate the data. Research data analysis is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the number of cadres is still insufficient, and there are still villages that have not budgeted for equipment rental and transportation for cadres, there are deficiencies in reporting and recording and there are still toddlers who experience stunting. There needs to be integration of central and regional government policies regarding handling stunting in toddlers, so that there is a division of the budget for handling stunting. and it is recommended that health workers provide health education about stunting prevention and routinely monitor the development of toddlers. Abstract

Efforts to increase breast milk production can be done by carrying out early and routine breast care, improving breastfeeding techniques, or by consuming foods that can affect breast milk production. Indonesia is a country that is rich in various types of plants which are useful as medicinal plants. Some of them are efficacious as lactagogums such as katuk plants, lampes, sweet fennel, thorn spinach, bidara upas, blustru, chicken dadap, bitter black cumin, moringa, jackfruit, patikan kebo, pulai, curcuma, turi, and young papaya. Black cumin is one of them. spices containing lactagogum. This spice is in the form of black seed grains which have been known for thousands of years and are widely used by the people of India, Pakistan and the Middle East to treat various diseases. This type of plant has been referred to as a medicinal plant in the early development of Islam (Trubus, 2012). Lactagogum is a drug that can increase or facilitate milk production. Synthetic lactagogum is little known and relatively expensive. This causes the need to look for alternative lactagogum drugs.

Abstract

Statistics learning at the junior high school level still faces challenges in developing students’ creative thinking skills. Students often struggle to understand fundamental statistical concepts due to conventional instructional practices that provide limited opportunities for in-depth data exploration. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning model on the Creative Self-Efficacy of eighth-grade students at SMPN 11 Jambi City in the topic of statistics. Employing a quantitative approach, this research utilized a true experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. This design was selected to avoid testing effects and to focus on the final learning outcomes. The study involved two sample classes: an experimental class that applied Project-Based Learning and a control class that received Direct Instruction. Research instruments included an observation sheet to measure the implementation of the learning model and a Likert-scale Creative Self-Efficacy questionnaire to assess the dependent variable. Data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, Levene’s homogeneity test, and an independent sample t-test. The results revealed a significant effect of Project-Based Learning on students’ Creative Self-Efficacy, with a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05. Furthermore, the experimental class achieved a higher mean posttest score (81.03) compared to the control class (75.17). These findings contribute to the development of instructional strategies that foster students’ creative self-confidence through authentic and meaningful project-based learning experiences.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of tax knowledge, tax socialization, and tax reform on the tax compliance of Generation Z individual taxpayers in the Jabodetabek region, with taxpayer awareness serving as a moderating variable. The study employs a quantitative approach with a sample of 175 individual taxpayers selected through stratified random sampling, and the data are analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that tax knowledge, tax socialization, and tax reform have a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance, while taxpayer awareness is not proven to significantly moderate the relationship between the independent variables and taxpayer compliance. These findings suggest that Generation Z’s tax compliance is more strongly influenced by cognitive and systemic factors, such as tax understanding and system modernization, rather than by internal awareness as a reinforcing factor. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of digitally based tax education strategies and adaptive tax reform initiatives that align with the characteristics of Generation Z.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health problem globally, with West Java reporting the highest number of TB cases among all provinces in Indonesia in 2023. This study aims to identify key factors influencing TB incidence across districts and cities in West Java in 2024. The analysis focuses on healthy living behaviors, proper sanitation, HIV cases, and AIDS cases using a Negative Binomial Regression approach to address overdispersion in count data. The results show that proper sanitation has a significant negative association with TB incidence, while HIV and AIDS cases exhibit significant positive associations. The best-performing model includes these three variables, yielding a residual deviance of 27.615. These findings highlight the importance of integrated public health interventions that simultaneously improve sanitation and strengthen HIV/AIDS control programs to effectively reduce TB incidence in high-burden regions.
