Abstract

PISA 2022 data shows that Indonesian students’ critical thinking skills and scientific literacy are still low. This situation is worsened by science learning having not integrated the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) approach. This community service program held by the UNS SESD RG aims to empower science teachers at the MGMP (Subject Teachers’ Working Group) for Science in Surakarta City in developing ESD-based learning instruments. The methods used include needs analysis, workshops, assignments, and evaluation. Problems encountered by teachers include poor awareness of ESD, limited publications of research result, and no implementation of project-based learning. Solutions provided include training, mentoring, and the use of educational technology. The results of activity indicate an increase in teacher capacity in developing contextual and innovative ESD-based learning instrument. This program also supports the achievement of SDGs, particularly in aspects of quality education and climate action.

Abstract

Di era yang semakin canggih dan berkembang, teknologi memiliki dampak besar pada kehidupan manusia, menjadikan alat komunikasi sebagai kebutuhan primer. Permintaan akan perangkat komunikasi meningkat setiap tahun, terutama untuk smartphone berbasis Android dari merek tertentu, karena tingginya kebutuhan akan komunikasi, akses informasi, dan hiburan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner online kepada 100 responden yang telah membeli dan menggunakan smartphone Android di Kota Bekasi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling, yang berarti responden dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 20 dengan berbagai teknik uji, termasuk uji validitas untuk memastikan pertanyaan dalam kuesioner mengukur apa yang seharusnya diukur, uji reliabilitas untuk mengecek konsistensi hasil, uji normalitas untuk melihat distribusi data, uji multikolinearitas untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel bebas, uji heteroskedastisitas untuk menguji ketidakseragaman varians, serta analisis regresi linear berganda untuk memahami hubungan antara variabel independen dan dependen. Uji T dan uji F digunakan untuk melihat signifikan tidaknya variabel independen secara parsial dan simultan, sementara koefisien determinasi (R2) digunakan untuk melihat seberapa besar variabel independen dapat menjelaskan variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Harga, Fitur, dan Garansi memiliki pengaruh signifikan baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian smartphone Android di Kota Bekasi, dengan variabel Garansi menjadi faktor paling dominan yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the picture of ethical commitment of advertising, advertisers, consumer buying attitudes and purchase intentions and the influence of academic service quality variables between advertising ethical commitments, advertisers partially and simultaneously on consumer buying attitudes and consumer buying interests. The population in this study was Management students of Majapahit Islamic University totaling 200 students and a sample of 6.8 students using proportional random sampling techniques. The scale used is the Likert scale. The type of measurement scale in this study is an ordinal scale that is converted into interval scale data through MSI (Method of Successive Interval). The results showed that the variables (1) Ethical commitment, (2) Advertising actors (endorsers), (3) Consumer buying attitudes, (4) Purchase intentions in good condition results. The calculation of the t test is known that: (1) there is a positive and significant influence between ethical commitment and consumer purchasing attitude, (2) there is a positive and insignificant influence between the role of advertising and consumer purchasing attitude, (3) there is a negative and insignificant influence between ethical commitment to consumer buying interest, (4) there is a negative and insignificant influence between advertisers on buying interest , (5) there is a positive and insignificant influence between consumer buying attitudes and buying interest.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the Integrated Science question item. This is quantitative descriptive research. The research subjects were 90 students of class VIII Junior High School in the high, medium, and low categories in Surakarta City. The characteristics of the items were analyzed using the Winstep program with the Rasch Model. Based on data analysis, the results obtained are: 1) the validity of conformity level of the items is valid; 2) the reliability value of the students was 0,79 which was sufficient, the reliability of the items was 0,93 which was very good, and the reliability between the students and the items (Alpha Cronbach) was 0,81 which was very good; 3) the value of separation item > value separation of students; 4) the distribution of the difficulty level of the questions is generally in the medium category; and 5) the difference power of the questions in the very good category is 35%, 25% in the good, 30% in the moderate, and 10% in the unable to distinguish category. Thus, it can be concluded that the analysis of the characteristics of the Integrated Science question items using the Rasch Model is considered good.

Abstract

The results of the OECD in 2019 showed that in 2012-2018, the acquisition of scientific literacy in Indonesia was still relatively low compared to other countries. The pretest results also showed that the average value of students' scientific literacy was 65 out of 100. Learning based on empowering thinking skills and using the context frequently encountered by students can help students relate scientific knowledge to everyday life, particularly in the aspect of interpreting data and evidence scientifically. From these problems, the study aims to (1) reveal the effect of ethno-STEM-based science teaching based on drums on vibration and wave material on the scientific literacy of junior high school students, and (2) identify the scientific literacy profile of junior high school students in Surakarta based on measurements using scientific literacy question instruments on vibration and wave material. This study was quasi-experimental. The population was all eighth-grade students from three junior high schools in Surakarta, totaling 864 students. The sample consisted of two classes from each school, selected as experimental classes and six control classes, determined using a cluster random sampling method. Data was collected using a science literacy test. The results showed: (1) there was an effect of the ethno-STEM approach with the PJBL learning model on students' scientific literacy in junior high school science learning on vibrations and waves, tested using the ANCVA test with a significance level of 0.047, and (2) in the experimental classes at junior high schools A, B, and C, there was an increase in all aspects of scientific literacy. In the control class, the highest increase was observed in the aspect of evaluating scientific investigations, while the lowest increase was noted in the aspect of explaining phenomena scientifically

Abstract

Orchids are a type of diverse and beautiful flower plant found throughout the world, including Indonesia. Orchids naturally thrive in forest environments or areas with abundant moisture and organic nutrients. Considering the decreasing area of forest, it is important to take immediate action to preserve and protect various orchid species that are threatened with extinction. The Ngoro Village PKK group together with Damar Farm held orchid planting training which highlighted the potential for cultivating quality orchid plants. The aim of this effort is to provide education to the local community and supervise orchid cultivation as a means of earning a living for the family. The approach taken is through practice and question and answer sessions. Participants included sub-district heads and women from the PKK group in Ngoro Village. This material provides an overview of orchids, including the characteristics, potential, and techniques for propagating and cultivating these plants. The results of these efforts resulted in a significant increase in participants' understanding of orchid plants. There are two types of orchids that are commonly used for training: pigeon orchids (Dendrobium crumenatum) and ground orchids (Spathoglottis plicata). This orchid is famous for its ease of reproduction by separating young plants. Coconut fiber is an orchid planting medium that is often found in this area.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education, attitude toward risk and digital literacy on entrepreneurial intention, especially for generation Z. The researcher conducted a structured study of the results of studies that have been conducted by previous researchers, the results of the study discuss the determinant factors of entrepreneurial intention. The results of the studies analyzed were in the form of articles published in scientific journals over the past five years. The independent variables in this study are entrepreneurship education, attitude toward risk and digital literacy. The vocal or dependent variable in the study is entrepreneurial intention. The results of the analysis show that entrepreneurship education, attitude toward risk and digital literacy have a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. The suggestion given is that the government should make policies related to education that support the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Indonesia. The suggestion for managers of educational institutions is to introduce positive things about entrepreneurship to generation Z students as early and as often as possible.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengalisis kinerja keuangan PT ABC tahun 2019 sampai dengan tahun 2023 yang diukur dengan metode Economic Value Added (EVA). Metode EVA digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat keberhasilan perusahaan dari sisi harapan dan kepentingan pemegang saham, metode. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan PT ABC periode tahun 2019-2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja PT ABC tahun 2019-2023 dengan metode EVA bernilai positif (EVA > 0) yang artinya perusahaan telah berhasil menciptakan nilai tambah ekonomis bagi perusahaan dan pemegang saham.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran PKn materi Memelihara Keutuhan NKRI bagi siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Pondok 02 Grogol Tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 melalui penggunaan model TAI dengan media audio-visual. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas VA SD Negeri Pondok 02 Grogol selama 5 (lima) bulan. Prosedur penelitian dalam penelitian tindakan ini pada intinya mengacu pada desain penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu: perencanaan; pelaksanaan; observasi; dan refleksi hasil tindakan.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Penggunaan model TAI dengan media audio-visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran PKn materi memahami sistem pemerintahan Republik Indonesia bagi siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Pondok 02 Grogol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus tindakan yang dilakukan, berupa meningkatnya nilai rata-rata hasil belajar dan tingkat ketuntasan belajar siswa. Nilai rata-rata hasil siswa  mengalami peningkatan dari sebesar 65.90 pada kondisi awal, meningkat menjadi 70.19 pada tindakan Siklus I, kemudian meningkat menjadi 75.62 pada akhir tindakan Siklus II. Ditinjau dari ketuntasan belajar, tingakt ketuntasan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari sebesar 52.38% pada kondisi awal, meningkat menjadi 71.43% pada akhir tindakan Siklus I, kemudian meningkat menjadi 95.24% pada akhir tindakan Siklus II.Kata-kata Kunci: Pembelajaran PKn, hasil belajar, TAI media audio-visual

Abstract

Through training, this community service project seeks to introduce and develop a hydroponic plant system in Ngoro Village. The potential of Ngoro Village, especially the enthusiasm of the PKK group for the initiative to empower hydroponic plants, is the motivation. The fact that every household has limited land makes hydroponic gardening very important. This exercise utilizes training and socialization techniques. The aim of the outreach is to provide information about hydroponics, and the aim of the training is to practice growing green lettuce and other hydroponic plants. The success of this activity is evaluated using previously established metrics. Generally, sixty percent of those who receive invitations come to this activity. From the beginning of the material to the practicum, participants showed high enthusiasm. Thanks to this training, the residents of Ngoro Village can immediately start growing hydroponically.
