Abstract

This research aims to describe the achievement of teacher performance, teaching facilities, and school principal supervision that can influence the quality of graduates and school accreditation. The research method used in this study is the inferential statistical analysis method using a quantitative approach, examined using the causal relationship method and the data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Smart PLS application to obtain significant interrelated results. The results of this study indicate that the variables of Teacher Performance Achievement and Teaching Facilities have a significant effect on Graduate Quality, while School Principal Supervision does not have a significant effect on Graduate Quality. Teacher Performance Achievement, Teaching Facilities, and School Principal Supervision do not have a significant effect on School Accreditation, while Graduate Quality has a significant effect on School Accreditation. Teacher Performance Achievement, Teaching Facilities, and School Principal Supervision simultaneously do not have a significant effect on Graduate Quality, and Teacher Performance Achievement, Teaching Facilities, School Principal Supervision, and Graduate Quality simultaneously do not have a significant effect on School Accreditation. This research is expected to have an impact on the development of teacher performance carried out consistently as well as the maintenance of teaching facilities in the school environment.

Abstract

Pendidikan berkualitas merupakan salah satu komponen krusial dalam membentuk generasi yang unggul dan berkarakter. Dalam konteks ini, SMPIT Ibnu Khaldun berperan sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan umum dan pendidikan agama, sehingga menghadapi tantangan dan peluang yang signifikan dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tengah persaingan yang semakin ketat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dinamika persaingan di pasar pendidikan dengan menggunakan model analisis Porter's Five Forces serta analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa SMPIT Ibnu Khaldun memiliki potensi besar untuk berkembang, berkat kekuatan yang dimilikinya, seperti komitmen yang tinggi terhadap pendidikan agama dan dukungan kuat dari orang tua siswa. Dukungan ini sangat penting, mengingat peran orang tua dalam proses pendidikan anak sangat mempengaruhi motivasi dan keberhasilan siswa. Namun, lembaga ini juga dihadapkan pada beberapa tantangan, termasuk kekurangan fasilitas yang memadai dan kurangnya sertifikasi guru yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pengajaran. Kualitas pengajaran yang baik sangat bergantung pada kompetensi guru, sehingga isu ini perlu menjadi perhatian serius. Selain itu, perubahan nilai budaya di masyarakat dan ancaman dari persaingan dengan sekolah-sekolah lain menjadi tantangan yang harus diatasi. Dalam menghadapi tantangan ini, strategi yang diusulkan mencakup peningkatan fasilitas pendidikan, pengembangan kompetensi guru melalui program pelatihan yang berkelanjutan, serta inovasi kurikulum yang lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan dan perkembangan siswa. Dengan menerapkan strategi-strategi ini, diharapkan SMPIT Ibnu Khaldun dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang ditawarkan dan memperkuat posisinya sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang unggul dan berpengaruh di masyarakat. Hal ini akan memungkinkan lembaga ini untuk mencetak generasi yang tidak hanya cerdas secara akademis, tetapi juga memiliki karakter yang baik, siap menghadapi tantangan global di masa depan.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of training programs focused on converting fuel-powered motorcycles to electric motorcycles in Indonesia as part of the sustainable energy transition. Using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data were collected from 31 alumni of the 2022 training cohort, while qualitative insights were gathered through interviews with select participants. Quantitative result reveal that facilities have a positive and significant effect on individual impact, as does training material. However, no significant effect is observed between training syllabus and individual impact. Qualitative results reveal that while the training content is generally effective, regulatory issues, unclear conversion standards, and limited workshop certifications hinder the implementation of learned skills. Participants also noted the need for additional training on electric motorcycle servicing and battery maintenance. The study emphasizes the importance of stronger collaboration between training providers, government agencies, and industries to address these challenges. By improving training curricula, reducing financial barriers, and aligning policies with field needs, this program can further contribute to Indonesia’s renewable energy goals and the development of a skilled workforce in the electric vehicle industry.

Abstract

Research on the rate of return on the learning process in distance higher education aims to measure the level of learning investment in post graduate program distance education. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research instruments distributed were to alumni of the Terbuka University Postgraduate Program spread across various cities, including the cities of Bandar Lampung, Bandung, Batam, Bogor, Jakarta, Jember, Malang, Medan, Padang, Palembang, Samarinda, Semarang, Serang, Sorong, Surabaya, and Surakarta. As many as 116 respondents from the total population of 395 alumni (using stratified random sampling technique) made up the study sample of 116 respondents. The results of the study show that investment in education using the payback period method is feasible.

Abstract

This bibliometric study explores the trends and focus of research in the field of service management in inclusive education. By analyzing publication patterns, key themes, collaboration networks and geographical distribution, this study provides a comprehensive picture of the state and development of research in this field. The study used data from Scopus and Web of Science databases in the period 1999-2024, analyzing 1,247 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The methodology included keyword co-occurrence analysis, co-citation analysis, and network visualization using VOSviewer software. The findings indicate significant and growing interest, with a notable increase in publications over the past decade, reflecting the global prioritization of inclusive education. Key themes such as inclusive education, disability, curriculum and teacher training emerged as central to the discourse, highlighting the multidisciplinary and practical nature of the research. The research also revealed substantial international collaboration, identifying influential researchers and institutions driving the field. The United States, United Kingdom and Australia emerged as key research centers, with strong networks of collaboration across the globe. Despite the progress, there are still gaps in areas such as the role of technology, its impact on students without disabilities, and evaluation of program effectiveness, indicating directions for future research. Insights from this research can inform policy makers, practitioners and researchers, contributing to the advancement of inclusive education practices and ensuring equitable and high-quality education for all students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepuasan kerja dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di sekolah swasta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran sekuensial (Explanatory Sequential Mixed Methods), yang terdiri dari dua fase. Pada fase kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang diadaptasi dari Job Description Index (JDI) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengetahui distribusi tingkat kepuasan pegawai terhadap sistem pengelolaan institusi. Pada fase kualitatif, digunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan triangulasi data untuk memperdalam pemahaman tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden merasa puas dengan kondisi pekerjaan umum (93,9%) dan rekan kerja (95,8%). Namun, terdapat ketidakpuasan yang signifikan pada faktor pendapatan dan kompensasi (46,2% kurang puas) serta peluang naik jabatan (28,6% kurang puas). Tingkat kepuasan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di sekolah swasta ini adalah 63,9%, yang termasuk dalam kategori memuaskan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar sekolah memperbaiki transparansi sistem promosi dan peningkatan kompensasi untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dan kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze quadrant mapping of the Gross Enrollment Rate (GER) and Net Enrollment Rate (NER) towards measuring education participation in Aceh Province from 2020 to 2024. Descriptive quantitative approaches were applied throughout this research, where secondary data were obtained from education statistics by government agencies and national surveys. It applies the quadrant technique with four categories of education participation rates based on the national average net and gross enrollment rates. The results demonstrate that primary and junior secondary education belong to Quadrant I (ideal) since there is a consistently higher net and gross enrollment rate than the national average. In contrast, senior secondary education is situated on Quadrant II (non-ideal) with a high gross enrollment rate but a low net enrollment rate, indicating problems such as late enrollment or high dropout rates. The findings of this research confirm the imperative need for data-informed and context-specific education policies for autonomous regions such as Aceh to reduce the GER-NER differential. The strategy is vital for promoting inclusive, equitable, and sustainable education development aligned with national targets and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

This study examines the critical role of principal leadership in fostering an effective school culture at SMA Negeri X in South Jakarta. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, participant observations, and document analysis. The findings highlight the principal's adoption of a democratic and transformative leadership style, focusing on collaboration among stakeholders, establishing a clear vision, and promoting teacher and student development. Key strategies include fostering harmonious relationships, ensuring a safe and conducive school environment, implementing discipline, and nurturing a competitive and religious culture. The principal's leadership practices have significantly contributed to a positive school climate, characterized by improved student academic performance, strong teacher engagement, and active community involvement. These findings emphasize the pivotal role of visionary and participative leadership in building a robust educational culture. While the study is limited to one institution, it provides a foundation for further research into the relationship between leadership styles and school culture across diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh distributed leadership dan manajemen mutu sekolah terhadap etos kerja guru pada Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama (SPK) (dulu dikenal sebagai Sekolah Internasional) di Indonesia yang berkurikulum International Baccalaureate (IB). Secara khusus penelitian ini menguji hubungan parsial maupun simultan antarvariabel, serta menelaah akar masalah dan prioritas strategis peningkatan etos kerja melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis kualitatif melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD), Fishbone Analysis, dan Importance-Performance Mapping Analysis (IPMA). Populasi penelitian adalah guru SPK IB di Indonesia dengan sampel ditentukan menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling. Instrumen berupa kuesioner skala Likert diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis AMOS. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa distributed leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap etos kerja guru, manajemen mutu sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap etos kerja, serta interaksi keduanya memberikan kontribusi simultan yang lebih kuat terhadap peningkatan komitmen, dedikasi, dan profesionalisme guru. Temuan kualitatif memperkuat hasil tersebut. Melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) teridentifikasi bahwa pemberdayaan guru dalam pengambilan keputusan, kolaborasi lintas budaya, serta transparansi manajerial menjadi faktor pendorong utama peningkatan etos kerja. Analisis Fishbone mengungkap beberapa akar masalah yang menghambat etos kerja, yaitu: keterbatasan pelatihan profesional, komunikasi hierarkis yang kaku, distribusi tanggung jawab yang tidak merata, serta ketidakseimbangan ekspektasi antara guru lokal dan asing. Sementara itu, hasil Importance-Performance Mapping Analysis (IPMA) menempatkan dimensi kolaborasi, komitmen terhadap pembelajaran siswa, dan budaya komunikasi terbuka sebagai faktor prioritas tinggi yang perlu segera diperkuat dalam kebijakan pengelolaan mutu SPK. Novelty penelitian ini adalah pengembangan model peningkatan etos kerja berbasis distributed leadership dan manajemen mutu sekolah yang tidak hanya mengandalkan analisis kuantitatif berbasis SEM AMOS, tetapi juga diperkaya dengan temuan kualitatif (FGD, Fishbone, IPMA), sehingga menghasilkan model yang komprehensif, kontekstual, dan aplikatif bagi Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama di Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstractOne of the problems is the low quality of education due to the lack of maximum education institutions in managing the risks that occur in the process of implementing education. The purpose of this study is to find out and obtain data on risk management analysis and what risks faced by Development Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Elementary School) Pembangunan (MIP) in the implementation of the 2011-2012 Renstra. Through interviews and observations that are known the main subject is a person or group of people who can provide information, they consist of management managers, management leaders to the strategic management staff. This study uses Descriptive Qualitative Analysis Method, to collect data, direct observation at the relevant institution (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta). The results of this study explain that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan (MIP) belongs to the risk averter, term namely the people who are reluctant to risk. The risk management stages carried out are risk identification (internal analysis, external and SWOT analysis), risk measurement (cross-linking SWOT, ST, WT, SO, and WO analysis), risk control (risk mitigation, risk retention, risk advoidance and risk risk transfer) and risk evaluation (consortium meetings, education unit meetings, leadership meetings and management review meetings).AbstrakSalah satu masalah rendahnya kualitas pendidikan karena kurangnya lembaga pendidikan yang maksimal dalam mengelola risiko yang terjadi dalam proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memperoleh data tentang analisis manajemen risiko dan risiko apa yang dihadapi oleh Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan (MIP) dalam pelaksanaan Renstra 2011-2012. Melalui wawancara dan observasi yang diketahui subjek utama adalah orang atau sekelompok orang yang dapat memberikan informasi, mereka terdiri dari manajer manajemen, pimpinan manajemen hingga staf manajemen strategis. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Analisis Kualitatif Deskriptif, untuk mengumpulkan data, observasi langsung di instansi terkait (Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta). Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa MIP memiliki risk averter, yaitu istilah orang yang enggan mengambil risiko. Tahapan manajemen risiko yang dilakukan adalah identifikasi risiko (analisis internal, analisis eksternal dan SWOT), pengukuran risiko (analisis SWOT, ST, WT, SO, dan WO), pengendalian risiko (risk mitigation, risk retention, risk advoidance and risk risk transfer) dan evaluasi risiko (pertemuan konsorsium, pertemuan unit pendidikan, rapat pimpinan dan rapat tinjauan manajemen).How to Cite : Asy'ari, H., Munawwaroh, Z., Salwa.
