Abstract

Hasil penelitan menunjukan bahwa: (1) pengaruh langsung fasilitas kerja terhadap kinerja mempunyai pengaruh signifkan; (2) pengaruh langsung fasilitas kerja terhadap penghargaan mempunyai pengaruh signifikan; (3) pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan; (4) pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja terhadap penghargaan tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan; (5) pengaruh langsung penghargaan terhadap kinerja mempunyai pengaruh signifikan; (6) pengaruh tidak langsung fasilitas kerja melalui penghargaan terhadap kinerja mempunyai pengaruh signifikan (7) pengaruh tidak langsung motivasi kerja melalui penghargaan terhadap kinerja tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the level of return on education investment and the results of human resource analysis using the Payback Period, Net Benefit or Cost Ratio, and Net Present Value methods for graduates in the English Education Department of Higher Education at West Java and Banten Province. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. Samples taken in this study were 60 graduates in the English Education Department of Higher Education at West Java and Banten Province. Based on the results of the research, obtained 3 domiciles from all respondents, namely Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java provinces. The results showed that there was a high income gap be- tween graduates in each domicile. Using the Payback Period method, for graduates who are domiciled in Banten and West Java province, showed that investment is feasible but for graduates who are domiciled in the DKI Jakarta province, showed that unfeasible. Using the Net Benefit or Cost Ratio (BCR) method, for graduates domiciled in Banten and West Java province indicate that the investment is feasible, that the BCR value is more than 1. However, for graduates who are domiciled at the DKI Jakarta province, that the investment is unfeasible, that the BCR value is less than 1, that is 0.30. Using the Net Present Value (NPV) method, for graduates who are domiciled at Banten and West Java province showed that the in- vestment is feasible, that a positive NPV value. However, for graduates who are domiciled in DKI Jakarta province, showed that the investment is unfeasible, that the NPV value is negative.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the labor needs of Light Vehicle Engineering Vocational High School graduates at Karawang Regency in 2020-2024. The method used in this research is qualitative method. This research was conducted using a manpower planning approach, which is used based on commonly used theories and compared with those used in the industry that is the benchmark. Participants in this research were all State Vocational Schools in Karawang Regency which had light vehicle engineering expertise programs. The results of the research found four main points, namely the first, the automotive industry in Karawang Regency experienced a significant growth acceleration in the last five years in the 2015-2019 period. Second, to encourage the acceleration of the automotive industry in Karawang Regency which is growing in the future. Based on the results of calculations using the manpower planning approach in the next five years, it takes at least 164 technicians in the field of plant productivity accompanied by competency specifications of expertise that require mastering the field of industrial automation. Third, the need for technicians in the field of plant productivity in 2024, which is as many as 164 technicians, can be met through only 6 of Vocational High School. Fourth, the need for labor in the middle quality category is oversupply, one of the factors for the oversupply is because the absorption of graduates does not focus on industry in Karawang Regency.

Abstract

AbstrakRencana strategik (renstra) merupakan salah satu alat yang dibutuhkan oleh perguruan tinggi untuk menghadapi setiap tantangan yang datang dari lingkungan yang selalu berubah-ubah. Salah satu komponen yang terpenting dari renstra adalah implementasi. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi renstra, diantaranya adalah intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi. Intellectual capital merupakan sumberdaya intangible berupa pengetahuan, informasi, pengalaman, dan komitmen untuk memanfaatkannya. Sedangkan komunikasi organisasi merupakan proses penyampaian dan penerimaan pesan dalam suatu organisasi yang berkenaan dengan tugas. Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi terhadap efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang di dukung dengan wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dekan, ketua departemen dan ketua prodi dengan jumlah total 89 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran umum efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI, intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi berada pada kategori tinggi. Secara parsial, intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI. Selanjutnya secara simultan, juga memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI..      Kata kunci: implementasi renstra, intellectual capital, komunikasi organisasi AbstractStrategic palan is one of the tools needed by universities to face any challenge that comes from an environment that is always changing. One of the most important components of the strategic plan is the implementation. Factors affecting the implementation of the strategic plan, i.e. intellectual capital and organizational communication. Intellectual capital is an intangible resource such as knowledge, information, experience and commitment to exploit it. While organizational communication is delivering process and receiving messages within an organization which related with the task. This research purpose is describing and analyzing the affect of intellectual capital and organizational communication toward implementation effectiveness of strategic plan in UPI. This research used survey method with quantitative approach. Data collecting technique used was a questionnaire. Subjects consisted of Dean, Department Chairman, and study Program Chairman with a total 89 people. The result showed that the general description of implementation effectiveness of strategic plan in UPI. Intellectual capital and organizational communication at the high category. Partially, intellectual capital and organizational communication have a significant influence on the implementation effectiveness of strategic plan in UPI. Furthermore, simultaneously it also has a significant influence on the implementation effectiveness of strategic plan in UPI. Key word: implementation of strategic planning, intellectual capital, and organizational communication

Abstract

AbstrakSekolah merupakan tempat berlangsungnya proses belajar mengajar dalam rangka mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Namun, tidak semua sekolah memiliki mutu yang tinggi untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesenjangan antara fenomena empiris dengan teori yang berlaku. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh dari kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah dan kinerja mengajar guru terhadap mutu sekolah dasar negeri di Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data dengan kuisioner. Objek penelitian adalah guru dan kepala sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 397 guru dan 33 kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, secara parsial maupun bersama-sama keduanya memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini yaitu para kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kinerja manajerialnya, khususnya dalam kemampuan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat, dan para guru bisa memperbaiki kinerja mengajarnya dengan menambah pengetahuan, wawasan, dan keilmuannya, khususnya dalam pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar guna mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Kata kunci: Kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah, Kinerja mengajar guru, Mutu Sekolah AbstractSchool is the place for the learning process in order to achieve national education goals. However, not all schools have high quality for achieving these objectives. This research is motivated by the gap between empirical phenomena with the prevailing theory. The study aims to describe and analyze the influence of managerial performance of school principals and teachers teaching performance to the quality of public elementary school in Bandung. The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach and data collection by questionnaire. The research objects were teachers and principals of elementary schools in the city of Bandung which amounted to 397 teachers and 33 principals. The results showed, partially or together they have a significant influence on the quality of schools. Recommendations from this research that the principals can improve managerial performance, especially in the ability of making the right decisions, and teachers can improve their teaching performance by increasing knowledge, insight, and scientific, especially in the implementation of the learning process in order to create effective learning. Keywords : managerial performance of principals, teachers teaching performance , quality of schools.

Abstract

Information disclosure in a go-public company is very important as transparency for stakeholders. This research discusses about trends of disclosure of media company which will go public. It is also carried out by using documentation study on the media company prospectus occurred in 2016-2021. Population is the prospectus of 18 media companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data was then assessed by 10 students from department of financial management and 10 students from department of accounting, 10 company leaders and 10 investor practitioners. The data was processed by using Weighted Means Score (WMS). The result showed that the aspect of disclosure, cash flow, type of product/program, investment result, risk and business activity are in open category. The disclosure on assets is in the very open category; while the disclosure on important events is in the fairly open category. A media company that will go public, viewed from the ethical prospect (disclosure trend) towards company’s information is in open category which means it has already been open towards information owned by the company.

Abstract

The airports in the Sorong area are institutions under the Ministry of Transportation, Directorate General of Civil Aviation. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior with the mediating variables of organizational climate and job satisfaction among airports employees in the Sorong area. This research adopted a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire with a Likert scale to collect data. Purposive sampling was utilized to obtain 126 respondents. Furthermore, the data obtained was analyzed using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results concluded that transformational leadership has a positively significant influence on organizational climate and job satisfaction. Organizational climate also had a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior. However, transformational leadership and job satisfaction had insignificant impact on organizational citizenship behavior. Transformational leadership had a significant indirect impact on organizational citizenship behavior through organizational climate, while job satisfaction did not mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. This research examined the influence of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior among airports employees in the Sorong area which are mediated by organizational climate and job satisfaction. Proposed research model was unique in order for gaining a better understanding of organizational citizenship behavior. Research results would help airport leaders in the Sorong area in developing strategies to increase employees organizational citizenship behavior through transformational leadership, organizational climate and job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze tourism education activities, especially regarding the management of practical learning at vocational tertiary institutions in the field of tourism. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study type approach, mixed methods sequential exploratory design. Resource persons or research informants consist of. Directors, Heads of Study Programs, Lecturers, Practical Instructors, Heads of Internal Quality Assurance, and students at the two institutions that are the locus of research. The results of the study show that practical learning activities at vocational tourism colleges have not been managed optimally. Furthermore, this study offers a competency-based practical learning quality management hypothetical model that is integrated with industry as an alternative solution in managing practical learning activities to improve the quality of learning outcomes and produce graduates who have skills and competencies that meet industry standards and needs. This model carries university collaboration. tourism with the hospitality industry in organizing practical learning activities. This form of collaboration is realized by involving industrial practitioners in a number of learning activities, including 1) Curriculum development and alignment; 2) Formation of a Steering Committee; 3) Teaching practitioner program; 4) Implementation of fieldwork practice programs; 5) Sending students to work part-time (daily workers); and 6) Guest lectures from industry practitioners. Recommendations and implications of this research are the need to build good collaboration between universities and industry in managing practical learning activities that link and match.

Abstract

This research is based on the Merdeka Belajar policy regarding the Sekolah penggerak Program. This study aims to analyze the implementation of this policy in Junior High Schools through Edward III's theory of public policy implementation, which consists of four aspects, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structures that play a role in the implementation of the policy. The research method used in this research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach and uses data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation studies. Researchers use software to help facilitate data and information processing, thus helping facilitate data and information management. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the Sekolah Penggerak program policy at Junior High Schools has met the aspects of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure well, even though in the first year the Sekolah penggerak Program experienced many obstacles in its implementation. In the second and third years, The implementation of the three Sekolah Penggerak programs is running more smoothly. The aspect that needs to be improved is the resource aspect, especially budget resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Balanced Scorecard (BSC) pada organisasi sektor publik. BSC digunakan untuk memberikan pandangan yang komprehensif tentang kinerja organisasi melalui empat perspektif utama: stakeholder, customer, internal business process, dan learning and growth.Metodologi penelitian menggunakan studi kasus melalui pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengukur sejauh mana penerapan BSC dapat meningkatkan kinerja organisasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan BSC di Kanwil DJP Kepulauan Riau telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja organisasi. Perspektif stakeholder menunjukkan peningkatan dari tahun 2022 ke tahun 2023 yaitu indeks capaian 107,79 > 95,16%. Perspektif customer menunjukkan peningkatan dari 2022 ke 2023 indeks capaian 110,15% > 103,80%. Perspektif internal business process memperlihatkan adanya perbaikan dalam efektivitas dan efisiensi proses kerja dari 2022 ke 2023 indeks capaian sebesar 112,76% > 112,57%. Demikian juga pada perspektif learning and growth menunjukkan peningkatan dari 2022 ke 2023 indeks capaian kinerja sebesar 109,32% > 108,10%. Secara umum nilai kinerja organisasi mengalamai kenaikan dari 2022 ke 2023 109,89% > 106%.Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa Balanced Scorecard adalah alat yang efektif untuk pengukuran kinerja organisasi sektor publik, namun memerlukan penyesuaian dalam penerapannya.
