Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat: (1) Peningkatan literasi sains peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 1 Sumarorong setelah penerapan pendekatan Culturally responsive Teacihing (CRT). (2) Perbedaan yang signifikan literasi sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan pendekatan Culturally responsive Teacihing (CRT). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan yang digunakan adalah One Grup pretest-posttest Design. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 1 Sumarorong yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dengan jumlah keseluruhan 116 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling yang dilakukan secara acak tanpa stratifikasi yang ada dalam populasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes literasi sains merupakan soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Rata-rata N-Gain hasil belajar peserta didik setelah penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) sebesar 0,34 dengan kategori sedang. (2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 1 Sumarorong sebelum dan setelah penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT).

Abstract

Adjusting to developments in learning, educators are required to be creative and the quality of human resources must be improved through educational channels using science teaching aids. The research results obtained were that the response from alumni of the program study Science Education UNM before the workshop on making science props was 100% very interested in taking part in the workshop on making props and the response from alumni of program study Science Education UNM after the workshop on making science props was 76.5% of participants after it was held There will be a continuation of the workshop on making science teaching aids to develop teaching aids in science learning in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Therefore, training or workshops on making science teaching aids were held for alumni of the program study Science Education UNM.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills are one of the 21st-century skills that are important to improve, especially in the field of science. However, some studies show that students' problem-solving skills are still low. This study aims to determine the effect of the ICT-assisted Reading, Connecting, Observing, Discussing, Evaluating (ReCODE) learning model on students' problem-solving skills. This research is a quasi-experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The study population was all students of class VIII SMPN 18 Makassar. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique which consisted of experimental class and control class. The instrument used was an essay test instrument with data collection methods using pre-test and post-test results. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the analysis were obtained tcount = 2.4 > ttable = 1.67 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the ReCODE Learning model assisted by ICT affects the problem-solving skills of class VIII students of SMPN 18 Makassar.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan menuntut guru untuk mampu memanfaatkan teknologi secara pedagogis dalam merancang pembelajaran yang interaktif dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Namun, pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran oleh guru IPA di MGMP SMP Kabupaten Maros masih terbatas pada penggunaan media presentasi sederhana dan bahan ajar statis. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam merancang bahan ajar digital yang lebih inovatif dan interaktif. Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mendesain micromodul berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Program dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui metode learning by doing, kolaborasi antarguru, serta pendampingan implementatif. Kegiatan melibatkan 15 guru MGMP IPA SMP Kabupaten Maros dan dilaksanakan melalui lima tahapan, yaitu perencanaan dan sosialisasi, pelatihan inti micromodul, pengembangan dan kurasi produk, pendampingan implementatif, serta evaluasi dan keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam merancang micromodul berbasis multimedia interaktif yang ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan skor rata-rata pretest sebesar 19,33 menjadi 55,27 pada posttest dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,79 yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan pemanfaatan berbagai platform digital dalam pembelajaran serta respon positif peserta terhadap pelaksanaan program dengan rata-rata penilaian sebesar 4,66 (93,20%). Program ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru serta mendorong terciptanya inovasi pembelajaran IPA berbasis teknologi melalui pengembangan micromodul multimedia interaktif di lingkungan MGMP.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan bagi calon guru IPA dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 15 alumni pendidikan IPA yang tergabung dalam IKA Pendidikan IPA FMIPA UNM. Kegiatan terdiri atas tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, diskusi dan evaluasi reflektif. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket dan lembar observasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peserta mampu memahami prinsip-prinsip PjBL dan mampu merancang pembelajaran berbasis proyek ditunjukkan dari produk modul ajar, LKPD, instrumen dan perangkat pendukung lainnya. Selain itu peserta pelatihan memberikan respons positif terhadap pelatihan. Secara umum, skor masing-masing aspek menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi, dengan rata-rata skor berkisar antara 4,0 hingga 4,8 dari skala maksimum 5. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam mempersiapkan calon guru IPA yang kompeten dan inovatif dalam menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran abad ke-21

Abstract

This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed at improving the learning motivation of eighth-grade students at SMP YP PGRI Disamakan Makassar on the topic of earthquakes through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by interactive PowerPoint media. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The research instrument used was a learning motivation observation sheet covering aspects of attention, activeness in asking questions, participation in discussions, and students’ learning enthusiasm. The results showed that students’ learning motivation increased gradually from 58.5% in the pre-action stage to 67.4% in Cycle I and increased to 75.5% in Cycle II. In Cycle I, students’ learning motivation began to show positive development; however, some students were still less active and lacked confidence in expressing their opinions. After improvements were made in Cycle II through enhanced media interactivity and more intensive guidance, students became more active in asking questions, participating in discussions, and confidently expressing their opinions in front of the class. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by interactive PowerPoint media was effective in improving students’ learning motivation on earthquake material.
