Abstract

This study aims to create an application that can help provide recommendations for contraceptives that can be used based on the selected criteria and to apply the Simple Additive Weighting Method in the recommendation for contraceptives (BKKBN case study). This contraceptive recommendation application is made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language, where the application has implemented one of the Decision Support System Methods, namely Simple Additive Weighting. Contraceptives is a method used to prevent pregnancy. There are different types of contraception that can be used and each has its advantages and disadvantages. This application can help provide recommendations to users of contraceptives to choose a suitable tool for use with considerations, namely age, breastfeeding, number of children, blood pressure, body mass index. Based on the results of black box testing, the functionality of the application has been running properly and is able to display the results of contraceptive recommendations based on the SAW method process

Abstract

The Use of Organic Waste in Bokashi Fertilizer Production at Farmers' Group Association of Rinjani in Singaran Pati District, Bengkulu City The continuous use of inorganic fertilizers by farmers results in disturbed soil fertility and nutrient deficiencies. So far, farmers' group association of Rinjani has also used inorganic fertilizers, which are quite expensive. Therefore, the purpose of this community service was to educate farmers on the farmers' group association of Rinjani on how to utilize organic waste from the surrounding environment to be processed into bokashi fertilizer. The ingredients used were leftover vegetables, fruits and dried leave. The Effective Microorganism 4 (EM4) was used as decomposer to speed up the composting process. The process of making bokashi fertilizer from vegetable and fruit waste was running smoothly. The bokashi obtained was very good. This was indicated by the characteristic of blackish brown color, crumb texture and has an odor like the smell of earth in general.

Abstract

Information and communication technology is progressing faster and faster, and human activities can complete tasks more quickly and efficiently. Information technology makes it easier for people to communicate, interact and act in various ways. The technology that can use to meet face-to-face needs in large quantities is Zoom Cloud Meeting, Google Meet, and Cisco Webex, and there are several other applications for similar purposes but are less desirable. During a pandemic such as Covid 19 and its various derivatives, since it was known until now, it is a scary thing for the community because the impact arising from contracting this virus can result in death. So from 2020 until early 2022, school learning activities were closed due to the PSBB policy from the government. It will be very detrimental to society, especially for school-age children who still need guidance from teachers in understanding lessons. So we need another policy in its implementation, namely the implementation of online or online learning. The utilization of information technology such as Zoom, Google Meet or Cisco Webex as a face-to-face tool between teachers and students through internet media is essential. This situation also does not escape the State 3 Seluma Senior High School, which also carries out online teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Desa Talang Jambu dan Desa Pasar Bembah Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara merupakan desa yang terletak di dekat perkebunan perusahaan pengolahan kelapa sawit sehingga berpotensi besar menghasilkan jamur sawit. Tetapi minat konsumsi masyarakat pada umumnya masih rendah karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan informasi kandungan gizi jamur sawit. Padahal jamur sawit memiliki kandungan nutrisi yang tinggi protein 34,24%, serat 39,83%, dan karbohidrat 5,47% serta rendah lemak yaitu 1,95%. Kualitas jamur sawit juga masih sangat rendah karena cepat membusuk. Persoalan inilah yang dihadapi oleh mitra dalam upaya peningkatkan konsumsi jamur sekaligus sebagai bahan pangan yang dapat dikomersilkan, selain minimnya pengetahuan (soft skill) dan keterampilan. Oleh karena itu Tim Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) memberikan pelatihan kepada mitra. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan dalam empat tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan (survey kondisi awal dan kunjungan ke wilayah mitra untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra), tahap penyuluhan (memberikan informasi kepada mitra berupa kandungan gizi jamur sawit, teknologi pengolahan jamur sawit menjadi makanan beku (frozen food), diversifikasi produk berbahan baku jamur sawit menjadi bakso, nugget dan dimsum, cara pengemasan), tahap peragaan (pelaksanaan atau praktek hasil penyuluhan bersama mitra, uji penerimaan dan pendugaan umur simpan produk jamur sawit), tahap pengembangan sistem pemasaran (perancangan design kemasan dan penjualan di media online). Kata Kunci : jamur sawit, pengolahan, makanan beku, Desa Talang Jambu dan Desa Pasar Bembah.

Abstract

The calculation of parking retribution income which has been managed by PT. Bumi Daya Plaza Bengkulu City used Microsoft Excel application. Data processing is only limited to revenue recapitulation. Then a forecasting application will be made that will be used to forecast future income, for the benefit of the company by using Trend Method Non-Linear Quadratic Model. Trend Method NonLinear Quadratic Model is a trend in which the value of the dependent variable increases or decreases linearly or a parabola occurs when the data is made a scatter plot (the relationship between the dependent and independent variables is quadratic) tend to be in one direction (up or down), such trends generally include movements lasting about 10 periods or more. This motion reflects the nature of continuity or a continuous state from time to time over a certain period of time, because of the nature of this continuity, the trend is considered a stable motion so that in interpreting it a mathematical model can be used, according to the circumstances and the time series data itself. Trend can be a straight line (regression/linear trend) or non-straight (regression/non-linear trend). The results obtained are derived from the processing of income for the last 12 months using Trend Method Non-Linear Quadratic Model. With data that has been processed from January 2020 to December 2020, it produces income forecasting at the T001 parking point of Rp. 467,272 and at the T002 parking point of Rp. 15,814,697 in January 2021. By using Trend Method Non-Linear Quadratic Model can determine forecasting/ prediction of parking retribution income in the future using preexisting data.

Abstract

Security issues are one of the most important aspects in the world of information technology, such as document security. Most of the documents are created through the Microsoft Office application package, because it is easy to use. There are several applications available in Microsoft Office, namely Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Powerpoint, and others that are used to process words and numbers according to user needs. Comparative analysis of the Blowfish algorithm and the DES algorithm in the encryption process is carried out based on 3 comparison aspects, namely processing time, file size and memory used. Comparisons were made with 40 test data in the form of document files, each consisting of 10 test data with extension formats *.docx, *.xlsx, *.pdf, and *.pptx, where these formats are familiar in data processing using Microsoft Office. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that in the encryption process, the DES Algorithm has a faster time than the Blowfish Algorithm with a percentage of the DES Algorithm's encryption processing time of 3.7975%. In the decryption process, the DES Algorithm has a faster time compared to the Blowfish Algorithm with a percentage of the DES Algorithm's encryption processing time of 3.595%. In the encryption process, the file size in the DES Algorithm increases bytes less than the file size in the Blowfish Algorithm. In the decryption process, the file size in the DES Algorithm and the Blowfish Algorithm does not change, because the file size returns to the original file size. In the encryption process, the DES Algorithm uses less memory compared to the Blowfish Algorithm with the percentage of memory used by the DES Algorithm being 49.655%. In the decryption process, the Blowfish Algorithm uses less memory compared to the DES Algorithm with the percentage of memory used by the Blowfish Algorithm 49.5925%

Abstract

Sukamerindu Health Center is one of the health centers in the city of Bengkulu. Drug management at the puskesmas has utilized an office application package, namely excel, but this utilization has not been fully implemented, because there is still a manual process where drug data collection is filled in through the books that have been provided, then only recapitulated at the end of the month. This sometimes makes it difficult for the puskesmas to manage the availability of drugs at the puskesmas. The application for forecasting the amount of drug supply at the UPTD Sukamerindu Health Center in Bengkulu City was made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language by applying the Multiple Linear Regression Method for the forecasting process. In determining the results of the forecast for the following month and year, there are 3 supporting variables used, namely demand, use, and supply of drugs in the previous month and year. Based on data on the 500 mg Amoxicillin Capsule, where there were 36 data analyzed from January 2019 to December 2021, the prediction results for the number of drug supplies in January 2022 using the Multiple Linear Regression Method were 13066, with a prediction error rate of 7.10%. . Based on testing the application for forecasting the amount of drug inventory at the UPTD Puskesmas Sukamerindu, Bengkulu City, it was found that the functionality of the application ran according to expectations .

Abstract

One of the network monitoring applications is using Icinga with the Linux Ubuntu server operating system. Icinga is a Linux application or tool that can be used to monitor computer networks. Monitoring computer networks using Icinga can monitor data traffic, network traffic and errors that occur on the network. Monitoring traffic and traffic on the network is displayed in graphical form, making it easier to do the analysis. Meanwhile, in monitoring the errors that occur on the network, they are grouped based on the client and service, so it is easy to see which error occurred from the client and what service was used. In operating the network monitoring system with Icinga using the Linux Ubuntu server operating system, the use of computer resources is very small, which is less than 20%.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat berupa sosialisasi tentang Pemanfaatan Cloud Computing Untuk Pengamanan Data Bagi Dunia Pendidikan dengan tujuan untuk membantu para siswa SMA Negeri 3 Bengkulu Utara untuk dapat mengikuti perkembangan teknologi secara global saat ini mulai muncul berbagai terobosan. Subjek pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 3 Bengkulu Utara. Proses sosialisasi ini dilakukan dengan memberikan informasi tentang Cloud Computing adalah suatu teknologi komputasi yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan kemampuan internet dalam melakukan tugas komputer pada umumnya. Cloud Computing juga memiliki peranan yang besar dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang modern, namun tetap efektif dan efisien baik dalam pendanaan, infrastruktur, dan juga hal hal lain yang berhubungan di dalamnya.

Abstract

Clustering merupakan salah satu metode machine learning dan termasuk dalam unsupervised learning. Tujuan dari clustering yaitu mencari pola data yang mirip sehingga memiliki kemungkinan dalam mengelompokan data data yang mirip. Banyak Algoritma yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan proses clustering data. Algoritma C-Means dan algoritma Mixture merupakan bentuk algoritma yang dapat digunakan dalam melakukan proses clustering data.. Algoritma C-Means adalah suatu tehnik pengklusteran data yang mana keberadaan tiap – tiap titik data dalam suatu cluster ditentukan oleh derajat keanggotaan. Sedangkan Algoritma Mixture merupakan salah satu jenis data clustering dimana dalam permodelannya, data dalam satu kelompok diasumsikan terdistribusi sesuai dengan salah satu jenis distribusi statistik yang ada. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan perbandingan antara Algoritma C-Means dan Algoritma Mixture dalam hal klasterisasi data mahasiswa drop out, dengan melihat hasil performance vector yang di hasilkan pada metode c-means yaitu avg.within centroid distance pada setiap cluster , Sedangkan pada algoritma mixture melihat hasil performance vector dan jumlah number of clusters.
