Abstract

Teacher well-being is often discussed in Indonesia in terms of the salaries and incentives they receive. However, there is another aspect of well-being that is rarely discussed, especially in the context of teachers in Indonesia, known as teacher well-being. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and job stress on teacher well-being in honorary teachers. The subjects in this study consisted of 32 honorary teachers. The data analysis method in this study applied multiple regression analysis with the support of JASP 0.19.1.0 software for Windows. The findings of this study indicate that principals' transformational leadership and job stress jointly influence teachers' welfare in honorary teaching staff with a value of r=0.787 and p<0.001, where the effective contribution reaches 78.8%, while the other 21.3% is influenced by other variables not analyzed in this study. The impact of this study can be a guideline for schools in formulating leadership strategies and building a more supportive work atmosphere for teacher welfare to improve the quality of education and reduce the stress experienced by honorary teachers.Kesejahteraan guru yang sering dibahas di Indonesia adalah dari segi gaji serta insentif yang mereka terima. Namun, ada aspek kesejahteraan lain yang masih jarang dibahas, terutama dalam konteks guru di Indonesia, yang dikenal dengan istilah teacher well-being. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan stres kerja terhadap kesejahteraan guru pada pengajar honorer. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 32 guru honorer. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menerapkan analisis regresi berganda dengan dukungan perangkat lunak JASP 0.19.1.0 untuk Windows. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah serta stres kerja berpengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap kesejahteraan guru pada tenaga pengajar honorer dengan nilai r=0.787 dan p<0.001, di mana kontribusi efektifnya mencapai 78.8%, sedangkan 21.3% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dianalisis dalam studi ini. Dampak dari penelitian ini bisa menjadi pedoman bagi sekolah dalam merumuskan strategi kepemimpinan dan membangun suasana kerja yang lebih mendukung kesejahteraan guru untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan mengurangi stres yang dialami oleh guru honorer.

Abstract

Financial management of the families of Indonesian migrant workers is very important because it can affect the financial welfare of the family. This community service activity aims to provide assistance regarding the financial management system for Indonesian families and workers in Malaysia, as well as providing recommendations to improve their welfare and protection. This community service activity uses ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) with stages of preparation, implementation, evaluation and follow-up. The results of community service activities show positive results.  This shows that there was an increase in the average written test score of 27 points from before starting community service. This shows that community service participants have increased knowledge and skills regarding an effective and efficient family financial management system. They are able to answer questions related to the material presented in community service correctly and quickly.  In conclusion, community service regarding an effective and efficient family financial management system was successfully implemented by 35 Indonesian workers working in Malaysia. Community service participants have increased knowledge, skills, attitudes and motivation towards the family financial management system. Community service participants are able to prepare and implement family budget and savings plans according to their income and needs.

Abstract

The issue of food security is now an increasingly pressing global concern, particularly amidst the climate crisis, geopolitical instability, and the threat of a global economic slowdown. Countries unable to meet their food needs independently are more vulnerable to dependency and at risk of external pressure. Therefore, this study aims to examine the new direction of food security policy under President Prabowo Subianto's administration as part of a strategy towards national independence, also linked to an Islamic perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach with an exploratory, descriptive-analytical approach. Data collection was conducted through literature review and document analysis. Data were analyzed inductively by classifying and categorizing the information obtained to identify relevant patterns. The analytical technique used was content analysis. The results show that President Prabowo Subianto's leadership offers a new direction in national food security policy through efforts to achieve food self-sufficiency, develop Food Estates, utilize modern agricultural technology, and strengthen cross-sectoral governance. The transformational leadership approach implemented aims to build a long-term vision, strengthen the role of local actors, and improve bureaucratic efficiency. In the context of maqāṣid al-syariah, this policy emphasizes hifz al-nafs and hifz al-mal, so that food security must be based on the principles of justice, sustainability, and public benefit.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the paradigm of public communication, particularly in the public relations practices of public organisations. The main challenge for public relations in the digital era is how to build and maintain an institution's reputation amid the rapid, dynamic flow of information. This study aims to analyse the forms of digital public relations innovation that utilise social media as a strategic space for building public reputation. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, employing library-based research techniques to analyse literature, scientific journals, and digital documents related to public communication and reputation management. The results show that public relations innovation in the digital era encompasses three main aspects: transforming public relations from a communicator to a digital reputation manager, optimising social media for public dialogue, and using data analysis and information transparency to strengthen public trust. These innovations significantly enhance the legitimacy, credibility, and positive image of public institutions. Thus, digital public relations functions not only as a disseminator of information, but also as a participatory and strategic relationship manager in building organisational reputation in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the design of a Public Relations and public service program aimed at improving institutional image and public satisfaction. Identified problems include a lack of communication integration, public services that are not fully responsive to public needs, and limited transparency and accountability, all of which contribute to low levels of public trust and participation. The purpose of this study is to analyze Public Relations program design strategies, identify community-oriented communication mechanisms and innovations in public services, and assess the role of transparency, accountability, and performance evaluation in strengthening institutional image. The method used is library research with a descriptive-qualitative approach, namely the collection and analysis of literature, journals, books, and documents related to Public Relations, public services, public communication, and institutional management. The results indicate that thorough strategic planning, appropriate communication implementation, responsive public service innovation, and systematic performance evaluation can increase public satisfaction and strengthen institutional image. This research's contribution lies in developing a Public Relations program model integrated with public service systems —both conventional and digital —to increase public trust and strengthen relationships between institutions and the community.

Abstract

This study examines the role of communication and stakeholder engagement in enhancing public services in Islamic education institutions. The purpose of this research is to analyze how integrating communication strategies and stakeholder participation can strengthen the management and effectiveness of public Islamic education services. A qualitative, descriptive-analytical approach was employed, drawing on secondary sources and conceptual studies of organizational communication, stakeholder management, and Islamic education governance principles. The analysis involved inductively interpreting data to identify patterns of interaction between communication, stakeholder involvement, and service quality improvement. The results indicate that effective communication and active stakeholder involvement are crucial for enhancing public services in Islamic education. Open, honest, and two-way communication fosters a harmonious work environment, builds trust among institutional members, and accelerates problem-solving. Stakeholder participation, both internal and external, provides moral, social, and oversight support, increasing accountability and legitimacy in the eyes of the community. The integration of communication and stakeholder engagement creates a transparent, adaptive, and sustainable governance system that embodies Islamic values such as shura, amanah, tabligh, and ta'awun in educational management practice.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) di SDN 14 Teluk Pandan, Kabupaten Pesawaran, dalam rangka mendukung pendidikan inklusif bagi siswa dari keluarga kurang mampu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teori implementasi kebijakan George C. Edward III, yang terdiri dari empat indikator: komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, dan struktur birokrasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PIP di SDN 14 Teluk Pandan di Desa Sukajaya Lempasing belum optimal yang ditandai dengan empat permasalahan utama. Pertama, dari aspek komunikasi: komunikasi masih bersifat informal melalui WhatsApp dan telepon, serta kurangnya pemahaman wali murid terhadap mekanisme dan tujuan program. Kedua, dari aspek sumber daya: keterbatasan pelatihan teknis yang berkelanjutan bagi pelaksana, belum adanya pendataan siswa berkebutuhan khusus (ABK), dan ketergantungan pada inisiatif individu seperti operator sekolah. Ketiga, dari aspek disposisi: sikap pasif pelaksana dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengajukan siswa dari kelompok rentan, lemahnya inisiatif proaktif untuk menjangkau calon penerima yang memenuhi kriteria, serta belum terinternalisasinya nilai-nilai inklusif dalam praktik pelaksanaan. Keempat, dari aspek struktur birokrasi: keterlambatan pencairan dana yang sering kali terjadi setelah siswa lulus, prosedur birokrasi yang panjang dan tidak efisien, serta lemahnya mekanisme pengawasan dan pertanggungjawaban program. Dibutuhkan perbaikan menyeluruh dalam koordinasi lintas pihak, peningkatan kapasitas SDM, penyusunan SOP formal, serta pendekatan yang lebih sistematis agar program berjalan efektif dan mendukung prinsip pendidikan inklusif secara merata.

Abstract

IntroductionIslamic religious counselors have traditionally focused on spiritual guidance, yet evolving socio-economic demands have expanded their role into community economic empowerment. Mosques and religious institutions now serve as hubs for entrepreneurship development, sharia-based financial literacy, halal certification assistance, and digital outreach. However, empirical studies examining how this role transformation unfolds at the local level, particularly in Indonesia, remain limited.ObjectivesThis study analyzes the transformation of Islamic religious counselors in Pesawaran Regency into agents of community economic empowerment. It identifies the strategies they employ, the enabling and constraining factors that shape their work, and the wider implications for community welfare, institutional development, and faith-based economic initiatives.MethodUsing a qualitative descriptive design, the study collected data through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis. Informants included counselors, local religious leaders, microenterprise actors, and community members selected purposively to ensure relevance and depth. Data were analyzed using thematic techniques to capture patterns of practice, challenges, and perceived outcomes.ResultsFindings indicate that counselors have integrated da‘wah with economic facilitation through mosque-based mentoring, financial literacy education, halal certification support, and digital tools. These efforts strengthened business skills, increased market access, and enhanced economic confidence among microenterprises. Structural constraints—such as limited counselor capacity, weak interagency coordination, and insufficient evaluation mechanisms—restricted program scalability, yet community trust and cross-sector partnerships enhanced effectiveness.ImplicationsThe study highlights the potential of counselor-led, mosque-centered empowerment as a culturally grounded model for community development. Strengthening governance, digital capacity, and evaluation systems is essential for sustaining impact and expanding inclusion.Originality/NoveltyThis research provides one of the most detailed qualitative accounts of counselor-led economic empowerment in an Indonesian locality, offering conceptual, practical, and policy insights into the alignment of da‘wah, Islamic economic principles, and community development.

Abstract

Digital transformation has brought fundamental changes to public relations practices in Indonesia. The role of public relations is no longer merely as a conveyor of information, but has evolved into a reputation manager and guardian of public trust in the dynamic era of digital communication. This study aims to analyze the transformation of public relations strategies in facing the challenges and opportunities of digital communication, as well as how these innovations contribute to the formation of a credible and adaptive institutional image. This study uses a literature review method, examining various research results and scientific publications from 2019 to 2024 that are relevant to the themes of digital public relations strategies, public communication, and reputation management. The results of the study show that the transformation of public relations strategies includes changes in the aspects of role, technology, and ethical orientation. Public relations practitioners are required to master digital literacy, public data analysis, and the ability to manage issues and crises in the online space. In addition, the use of artificial intelligence (AI), chatbots, and social listened strengthens the effectiveness of communication, although it needs to be balanced with the principles of transparency and social responsibility. The conclusion of this study confirms that the success of public relations in the digital era depends on the ability to integrate technology, creativity, and human values to build a sustainable institutional reputation.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to examine the role of e-government based public relations management in improving the quality of public services in Islamic educational institutions. The focus of the study is directed toward understanding the concept, strategic role, and implementation challenges of e-government based public relations management within the context of public services in Islamic education. The research method employed is a library research approach by reviewing various literature sources, including scholarly books, national and international journal articles, and policy documents relevant to public relations management, e-government, and public services in Islamic education. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques through a descriptive analytical approach to identify patterns, concepts, and key findings from the reviewed literature. The results of the study indicate that e-government based public relations management plays an important role in enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness of public services in Islamic education through the utilization of digital technology. The implementation of e-government is able to strengthen two way communication between Islamic educational institutions and the community, increase public trust, and build a professional and accountable institutional image.
