Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which a child have a growth disorder, resulting from a lack of nutritional intake for a long time. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors associated with the occurrence of stunting. This type of research is quantitative analytic research with a case-control design. Data collection methods through interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study note that factors related to stunting at undergraduate in Semarang City in 2018 are mother's education level (OR = 2.97), mother's occupation (OR = 6.58), number of children (OR = 4.15), order of children (OR = 4.15), body length at birth (OR = 5.77), caregiver of children (OR = 9.99), exclusive breastfeeding status (OR = 3.47), income category (OR = 7.37), conditions home (OR = 3.78), and nutritional intake (OR = 8.79). Stunting handling policies that have been carried out in the City of Semarang related to the budget have been allocated to provinces and districts / cities, the Central Java Governor Regulation No. 85 of 2016 concerning the Action Plan for the Food and Nutrition Region of Central Java Province in 2015-2019. Suggestions that can be given to the department of religion in order to further enhance cooperation with the health center related to the maturity of marriage, knowledge about nutrition, including the importance of nutrition in the First 1000 Days of Life (1000 HPK); The Semarang city government should be able to include action plans for handling stunting, including improving the residential environment and increasing community capacity in the RPJMD.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, especially related to the use of the internet, having a positive and negative impact. The negative impact of the use of technological developments and the spread of negative content encourages a non-criminal criminal policy through techno prevention. The use of various internet programs and applications that have been created by Kemenkominfo become one form of non-criminal policy through efforts to use techno prevention in overcoming the spread of negative content. Techno prevention forms include Internet Sehat dan Aman (INSAN), Internet Cerdas Kreatif dan Produktif (INCAKAP), software Whitelist Nusantara, Family Link application, YouTube Kids, Dinner Time, MamaBear, Bandwidth throttling, and a number of say no to hoax fanpage and discussion groups, Trend Micro Online Guardian, YouDiligence, Avira Social Network Protection and STOPit.  Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi khususnya terkait dengan penggunaan internet selain memberikan dampak positif juga memberi dampak negatif. Dampak negatif dari penggunaan perkembangan teknologi dan adanya penyebaran konten negatif mendorong suatu kebijakan kriminal non penal melalui techno prevention. Penggunaan berbagai program dan aplikasi internet yang telah diciptakan oleh Kemenkominfo menjadi salah satu bentuk kebijakan kriminal non penal melalui upaya penggunaan techno prevention dalam penanggulangan penyebaran konten negatif. Bentuk techno prevention diantaranya, program Internet Sehat dan Aman (INSAN), Internet Cerdas Kreatif dan Produktif (INCAKAP), software Whitelist Nusantara, aplikasi Family Link, YouTube Kids, Dinner Time, MamaBear, Bandwidth throttling, dan sejumlah fanpage dan grup diskusi anti hoax, Trend Micro Online Guardian, YouDiligence, Avira Social Network Protection dan STOPit.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Berta, Kecamatan Susukan, Kabupaten Banjarnegara merupakan masyarakat yang berada dibawah garis kemiskinan. Tingginya angka kemiskinan di desa tersebut mengakibatkan mayoritas anak-anak hanya mampu menamatkan Sekolah Dasar. Kesadaran orang tua akan pentingnya pendidikan sangatlah rendah padahal anak-anak memiliki antusias yang tinggi akan pendidikan dan ilmu pengetahuan. Tingginya minat baca dan antusias yang baik akan ilmu pengetahuan tidak dapat terfasilitasi dengan baik, sebab disekitar Desa Berta tidak tersedia taman baca ataupun perpustakaan sebagai alat untuk mendapatkan informasi dan mengakses ilmu pengetahuan. Berdasar hal tersebut maka pada dasarnya masyarakat dan anak-anak memiliki potensi terhadap keterbukaan ilmu pengetahuan, akan tetapi belum dapat diwadahi dengan baik dan hak pendidikan anak-anak pada khususnya belum dapat diwujudkan, dari hal tersebut tim pengabdi merasa perlu untuk mendirikan taman baca dan melakukan pemberdayaan secara berkala dan berkelanjutan sebagai wujud pemenuhan hak pendidikan bagi anak-anak. luaran yang diharapkan dari pengabdian ini adalah terciptanya masyarakat yakni orang tua yang memiliki kesadaran tinggi akan pentingnya pemenuhan hak pendidikan bagi anak serta kemudahan akses akan hak pendidikan bagi anak. Target luaran jangka panjangnya adalah perbaikankualitas pendidikan masyarakat dan berkurangnya angka kemiskinan

Abstract

Masalah sampah kini tetap jadi problema yang sukar diselesaikan, disebabkan karena rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat perlunya jaga  kebersihan lingkungan, dengan tak buang sampah selain ke dalam tong sampah. Penyelesaian hukum untuk warga sembarangan buang sampah di jalan tak sama di tiap wilayah. Peraturan ini menyiratkan kewenangan kepada pemerintah setempat guna menentukan hukuman unutk orang yang buang sampah sembarangan. Untuk  kasus membuang sampah sembarangan, tampaknya lebih cenderung menggunakan teori relatif, yang mana hukuman digunakan untuk mengoreksi pelaku sehingga pelaku tidak mengulangi perbuatannya di masa depan. Kini sistem hukum pidana  Indonesia  cenderung mengikuti pandangan  teori  relatif. Tapi pada praktiknya bermunculan masalah serta   perdebatan, sehingga  telah waktunya dilakukannya refleksi  guna menemukan ide baru berkaitan dengan  teori hukum pidana Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulties in learning mathematical fraction calculations in Grade 5 at SD Poris Gaga 8. The research method employed is qualitative, specifically a case study involving students and teachers of Grade 5 at SD. Data collection is carried out through observation techniques and face-to-face interviews. The study's results on factors contributing to students' difficulties in learning material about fractions include both students' cognitive aspects and physical aspects related to fractions. The challenges in learning, considering the students' cognitive conditions, are influenced by their concentration levels during math lessons. This is often attributed to students' disinterest in studying mathematics, their tendency to become easily bored at school, and an unfavorable learning environment. Regarding the material aspects of learning fractional calculations, students face difficulties due to their lack of familiarity with common denominators, general understanding of denominators, and the fundamental concepts of multiplying and dividing fractions. Furthermore, when solving problems involving fraction division, students struggle to effectively model these problems using appropriate mathematical approaches.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Hipertensi merupakan kejadian peningkatan tekanan darah sistolik lebih dari 140 mmHg dan diastolik lebih dari 90 mmHg yang melebih batas normal. Faktor risiko utama yang berpengaruh menyebabkan hipertensi yaitu umur, jenis kelamin, suku, faktor genetik, faktor lingkungan seperti obesitas, stress, konsumsi garam, merokok, dan konsumsi alkohol. Tujuan: untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang hipertensikelompok usia produktif. Metode: Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan intervensi ini yaitu dengan metode ceramah dan pemberian media cetak berupa poster. Kegiatan penyuluhan diawali dengan pre-test menggunakan software Quizziz dan dievaluasi menggunakan post-test. Kegiatan penyuluhan diakhiri dengan pemeriksaan tekanan darah. Hasil: Hasil pre-test pengetahuan peserta mengenai hipertensi yang termasuk dalam kategori kurang sebesar 19,2%, pengetahuan cukup sebesar 38,5%, dan pengetahuan baik mengenai hipertensi sebesar 42,3%. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan hipertensi dilakukan post-test yang menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki pengetahuan cukup mengenai hipertensi sebesar 34,6% dan mempunyai pengetahuan baik mengenai hipertensi sebesar 65,4%. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test diketahui terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan setelah dilakukan penyuluhan. Kesimpulan: Penyuluhan kesehatan yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta terkait hipertensi. Kata kunci: hipertensi, penyuluhan, tekanan darah ________________________________________________________________________________ Abstract Background: Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure more 140 mmHg and diastolic more 90 mmHg which exceeds normal limits. The main risk factors that influence hypertension are age, sex, ethnicity, genetic factors, and environmental factors such as obesity, stress, salt consumption, smoking, and alcohol consumption. Objective: to increase knowledge about hypertension in the productive age group. Method: The method carried out in this intervention activity is by lecture method and giving print media in the form of posters. Counseling activities begin with a pre-test using quizziz software and are evaluated using a post-test. The counseling activity ended with a blood pressure check. Result: Pre-test results of participants' knowledge about hypertension which is included in the category of less than 19.2%, sufficient knowledge of 38.5%, and good knowledge about hypertension of 42.3%. After being given hypertension counseling, a post-test was carried out which showed that participants had sufficient knowledge about hypertension by 34.6% and had good knowledge about hypertension by 65.4%. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, it is known that there is an increase in knowledge after counseling. Conclusion: Health counseling conducted can increase participants' knowledge related to hypertension. Keywords: blood pressure, counseling, hypertension

Abstract

The problem in this study is that Indonesian students in the second grade at SDN Pondok Jagung Timur have poor reading skills and poor learning outcomes. This is because teachers haven't used fun learning models, students are passive learners when teacher-centered learning is used, and students don't understand what they are learning because they don't have enough reading skills or don't want to learn to read. The Papan cerita Media, Scramble, and Picture and Picture learning models are utilized in the effort. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of teacher and student activities in order to improve student learning outcomes in beginning reading skills. By describing school data in sentences, this study employs a qualitative research methodology. According to the study, using the Picture, Scramble, and Papan cerita Media learning models can help students in class II increase both their activity and their learning outcomes.

Abstract

The consequences of the Kanjuruhan incident during Indonesian football matches prompted the implementation of punitive measures, aiming to ensure the protection of fundamental rights. The incident, which resulted in dissatisfaction among fans, particularly the Aremania supporters, was triggered by their team's defeat. The conclusion of the match saw a surge of discontent, leading fans to descend onto the field to express their disappointment. In conducting this research, a doctrinal legal approach, specifically of the normative type, was employed. The methodology involved a literature study, encompassing legal principles, rules, regulations, doctrines, theories, and legal dictionaries that contribute to legal literacy. The research aimed to gain insights into the necessity, harmony, and intentionality of legal measures, employing a scientific approach through doctrinal laws. The normative legal methods used positive law, context, and literature as their specifications. The research approach incorporated positive law and a case study method, focusing on the Kanjuruhan commotions. The findings and discussions unveiled the court's decision in accordance with Decision 13/Pid.B/2023/PN Sby, which acquitted the defendant. Legal efforts were subsequently initiated by the public prosecutor (JPU) in case 922/K/Pid/2023 to overturn the previous decision. The Supreme Judge determined a violation of Article 359 in conjunction with Article 360 of Law Number 1/1946 concerning Criminal Law Regulations, citing negligence leading to death. The causal link in this case was established when security forces (police) deployed tear gas into the spectator stands in response to the anarchic behavior of the Aremania supporters who had descended onto the field.

Abstract

Basic Education as a leading pioneer in Strengthening Muslim Character has a relationship with character education. The implementation of Strengthening Character Education is carried out with the principle of school-based management which is the responsibility of school principals and teachers, as the fulfillment of the workload of teachers and school principals (Article 6 paragraph 3,4,5 PP 87/2017). According to President Joko Widodo's directive, character education at the basic education level gets a larger portion than education that teaches knowledge, for Elementary Schools by 70% while for Junior High Schools by 60%. The point of this research is management of strengthening characters education in elementary schools are includes planning, implementation and evaluation. The research method is descriptive qualitative through observation, documentation and interview.The result of this research obtained depiction that the first,the reinforcement of character education students have been implemented well through the preparation of goals, strategy and policy mapping and procedure mapping and program improvement using RPP and syllabus design; second, the implementation of character education runs well through activities of religious activities, nationalism cultivation, social care and environmental awareness; third, evaluation of the strengthening of character education management students through supervision activities on the implementation of activities by carrying out reflections, analysis and follow-up plans.

Abstract

This paper critically examines stolen assets recovery in Indonesia, employing Gustav Radbruch's legal philosophy, which asserts that justice is the purpose of law and any rule failing to promote justice is invalid, along with Lawrence Friedman’s sociological theory. The aim is to illuminate Indonesia's challenges and opportunities in recovering ill-gotten assets, an issue intertwined with corruption, transnational crime, and international cooperation. Radbruch’s formula serves as the moral and ethical basis for evaluating asset recovery. It prioritizes justice in legal systems, insisting that just laws are the only legitimate ones. This paper applies Radbruch’s formula to assess Indonesia's legal frameworks and processes for asset recovery, emphasizing principles like fairness, equity, and legitimacy within this context. Furthermore, this study incorporates Friedman’s sociological theory, which examines how law evolves in response to social norms and values. It explores how sociocultural factors in Indonesia influence the development of legal mechanisms, public attitudes, and enforcement strategies regarding asset recovery. These perspectives offer valuable insights into Indonesia’s asset recovery challenges. They underscore the need for a holistic approach that integrates ethics, law, and sociology to enhance fairness and effectiveness. International collaboration is also emphasized due to the transnational nature of illicit financial flows. This paper contributes to a nuanced examination of Indonesia’s stolen assets recovery. By bridging legal philosophy and sociological theory, it provides a comprehensive framework for policymakers, legal professionals, and scholars engaged in pursuing justice and asset recovery in Indonesia and beyond.
