Abstract

The country's savings growth rate is important to be improved so as to encourage economic growth of a nation. For this reason, supports from various parties are needed to improve people's behavior in saving. This study aims to analyze and identify the saving behavior of students of State Vocational Schools in Tegal Regency. Financial literacy, family environment, attitude to behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and behavioral intentions are used to measure students' saving behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of the study is 1,520 students and the sample is 317 students. The number of samples is determined using the Slovin formula, while the sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The technique of collecting data uses questionnaires. While the data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of path analysis show financial literacy and family environment directly influence attitude behavior, subjective norms, behavioral control, and behavioral intention. However, the family environment does not directly affect the behavioral intention. financial literacy and family environment have an Indirect influence on saving behavior through subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and behavioral intention.

Abstract

Semakin banyaknya mobil-mobil berharga murah maka semakin banyak orang yang memiliki mobil, sehingga jasa perawatan mobil pun semakin banyak dibutuhkan. Pada mobil, proses perawatan ini melingkupi bagian eksterior, bagian interior hingga ke celah-celah tersempit, hingga ke bagian mesin. Karena prosesnya yang detail dan rumit serta untuk memuaskan konsumen, maka sebaiknya digunakan sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan untuk membantu memprediksi minat konsumen. Sistem pendukung keputusan dibangun untuk mendukung solusi atas suatu masalah atau untuk mengevaluasi suatu peluang. Sistem pendukung keputusan seperti itu disebut aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan. Sistem pendukung keputusan dapat diterapkan dengan metode Weigthted Product. Metode Weigthted Product hasil pengujian fungsionalitas memiliki kinerja sistem yang dapat berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan fungsional dan hasil pengujian validitas berdasarkan perbandingan perhitungan manual perusahaan dengan perhitungan aplikasi web. Sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan metode Weigthted Product dapat membantu para pengambil keputusan dalam prediksi minat konsumen pada Singgalang Motor. Serta deengan menerapkan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan didukung dengan database MySQL pada perancangan sistem pendukung keputusan maka akan dengan mudah, cepat dan lebih efisien dalam menentukan keputusan dan dapat memudahkan Singgalang Motor dalam prediksi minat konsumen dan lebih tepat sasaran

Abstract

This study aims to analyze taxpayers? perception in Kudus Regency on tax amnesty policy based on Technology Acceptance Model as main theory and Theory of Planned Behavioral, Theory of Reason Action and perception theory as the supporting theory. There are 63.735 individual taxpayers who are registered in KPP Pratama Kudus as research population. By purposive sampling method, 100 individual taxpayers are obtained as research sample. In addition, this study is examined using path analysis in AMOS 19. Results show that awareness of paying tax has positive and direct effect on intention to utilize tax amnesty, knowledge and understanding of tax amnesty positively affects intention to utilize tax amnesty through awareness of paying tax, and tax sanction has negative impact on intention to utilize tax amnesty through awareness of paying tax. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that taxpayers in Kudus Regency have not acknowledged tax sanction which unable to driven them of having intention to utilize tax amnesty. Thus, future research is recommended to conduct interview towards respondents to gain a more detailed data.

Abstract

Student satisfaction is an important indicator of the quality of higher education and is a measure of the service quality of its customers. Student satisfaction with their educational institutions also depends on the situation of the campus environment created for the convenience of the students. The main objective of this study is to obtain empirical evidence regarding the impact of service quality, campus ecology, and self-efficacy on the satisfaction level of the students of ANAA Specialist Education Program, Diponegoro University (PPSA UNDIP) Semarang. The population of this study was 125 specialist students of UNDIP and the students were chosen to be selected as samples using random sampling techniques. Data was drawn using a questionnaire; the data were analyzed using the SPSS and the Lisrel 8.54 program. The results of the study show that (1) service quality significantly affected self-efficacy and student satisfaction; (2) campus ecology has a significant effect on self-efficacy of 75.69% and on student satisfaction by 43.56%; (3) service quality and campus ecology together have a significant effect on student self-efficacy; (4) service quality, campus ecology, and self-efficacy together also have a significant effect on the satisfaction of the students of PPDSA UNDIP Semarang. Service quality and campus ecology are antecedent variables of self-efficacy and the three variables are determinants of the satisfaction of the students at the institution.

Abstract

Consumer behavior in general is a study of how someone decides to buy or consume a product. The influence of peer groups towards student’s consumption behavior can be seen through their daily lives. Among them are by having the same brand of goods such as cellphones, shoes, watches, accessories; watching the same movies that they consider to be good; idolizing the same actors and actresses; and consuming the same foods and drinks. Those behaviour indicate the influence of peer groups on student’s consumption behavior. It becomes problematic because the consumption behavior done by most of these students often cause economic problems for their families, their first environment before entering school. This phenomenon of student’s consumption behavior becomes more interesting considering into what extent economics knowledge they get in school being implemented in their daily decision makings. Factors influencing the consumption behavior of high school students in Pemalang Regency were suspected to be family, school and peer groups. The method of analysis used in this study was path analysis using Amoss software. The calculation results showed that students’ engagement had a significant influence on student’s consumption behavior with a CR value of 2.647, peer groups had a significant influence on student’s consumption behavior with a CR value of 5.446, family environment had no significant influence on student’s consumption behavior with a CR value of 1.322 (smaller than 1.96), the school environment had a significant influence on student’s consumption behavior with a CR value of 3.276. This study used data from Dapodik Academic Year 2018/2019 of Social Science students of Public Senior High Schools in Pemalang Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of financial compensation, job stress, and job promotion through job satisfaction at PT. MNC Vision in Central Java. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using path analysis. The total population in this study is 198 employees at PT. MNC Vision in Central Java which is located in 12 branch offices spreaded in Central Java. The results obtained in this study are financial compensation has a significant effect on employee performance, job promotion has a significance effect on job satisfaction, and job promotion has a significance effect on financial compensation. In addition, from this study also obtained results that job satisfaction and promotion do not have a significance effect on employee performance, while financial compensation and job stress also do not have a significance effect on job satisfaction. Besides, the result shows us that financial compensation and promotion do not have a significance effect on job stress.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to find out and analyze the relationship between the agricultural sector, the mining sector, the manufacturing sector, the construction and transportation sectors with the environmental quality index in Indonesia.This study used a quantitative method derived from secondary data in the form of publication data of the GRDP sectors on constant prices and environmental quality indices in 33 provinces on an annual basis in 2012-2017. The population in this study are the GRDP in Indonesia and statistics on environmental quality indexes in Indonesia. Data analysis used panel data regression analysis with fixed effect regression models used eviews 9 tools. The results shows partially agriculture and transportation sector variables have a positive and significant relationship with the environmental quality index (EQI), while the mining and construction sector variables have a negative and significant relationship, while manufacturing industries variables have a negative and insignificant relationship. Variables in the agriculture sector, the mining sector, the manufacturing sector, the construction sector, and the transportation sector together have a positive and significant relationship with the environmental quality index (EQI).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Electronic Library or often called E-Library growth rapidly and many of libraries in Indonesia applied this concept. Library of Diponegoro University has been operating E-library since 2005, and have made many changes, in term of its appearance, or information shown in the web. This E-Library is used by the university to contribute the implementation of e-learning and e-research at Diponegoro University. This research is aimed at knowing the students perception of UNDIP’s E-Library’s service. The methods used in this research descripve quantitative-qualitative types, using questionaire dan interview data collection. The benefit of this research can hopefully improve Diponegoro University Library services, especially at E-Library service. The results of this study are most of the students feel satisfy with the services given by the librarian concerning the convenience of web accessibility, the rapidity web access, contents of the web, types and kinds of information provided by the Diponegoro University’s website. Meanwhile for frequency of web visitation most of the respondents are rare visiting the we. They said that it is caused by the collections are not up to date and the appearances are not interesting. For the librarians they said most of them are not friendly and hospitable. The student hope library should improve their service to meet their users needs. Abstract

Entrepreneurial interest does not grow by itself but can influence by several factors. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between determinants in entrepreneurial interests, namely personality, adversity intelligence, creativity and student involvement. This research uses a quantitative approach and path analysis. From the sample of 168 students, it found that the personality, adversity intelligence and creativity of each affected the involvement of students. Then the personality, involvement of students and creativity each affect the entrepreneurial interest. All variables in this study are in the high criteria in descriptive analysis. The results of the research may be to consider in conducting policies by related parties.

Abstract

This aims of the study are determining, testing and analyzing the influence of school principal leadership and work environment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) teachers by using organizational culture as an intervening variable in SMP / MTS Boarding School teachers which spreading across in Banyumas Residency . The respondents of this study were 170 SMP / MTS Boarding School teachers which spreading across in Banyumas Residency. The way to take the sample are using proportional random sampling and analysis techniques using path on analysis ( path analysis ) . The results showed that: 1) There is an influence of the principal's leadership on organizational culture. 2) There is an influence of the work environment on organizational culture. 3) There is an influence of the principal's leadership on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) . 4) There is an influence of the work environment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) . 5) There is an influence of culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) . 6) There is an influence of the principal's leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) through organizational culture. 7) There is an influence of the work environment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) through organizational culture. Based on these findings, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) can be improved through the improvement in leadership of the school principal, work environment and organizational culture.
