Abstract

CV. XYZ is a company that operates in the interior sector, especially natural stone design and installation services. In the development of production activities there are shortages or excess stocks of supporting materials. The aim of this research is to help CV. XYZ identifies the causes of uncontrolled stock of supporting materials and prevents potential losses due to shortages or excess stock of materials. To determine this potential, the FSN method is used to classify supporting materials. then proceed with calculating using the EOQ method to find out the company's optimal order quantity. Then use Monte Carlo simulation to forecast needs for the following year. Where the results of these calculations will be used as suggestions for improvements to reduce the potential for excess and shortage of stock in the coming year. From the results of the analysis, potential shortages and excess stock arise due to the absence of special calculations and classifications which cause inventory to be ineffective

Abstract

This study analyzed the linkage of risk factors in the return process of fast-moving consumer good (FMCG) logistics systems. The risk of returning products due to expired, near expiration, order errors and bad stock (damaged) haunts sustainable supply chains in the industry. In four business processes, warehousing, transport/distribution, product­ion/supply and order processing identified twenty-two risk factors that cause the return process. The decision-making and trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method helps decision-makers simplify causal relationships between twenty-two complex risk factors. Through the depiction of the matrix and the network relationship map, twelve risk factors entered the dispatcher group, namely risk factors that can affect other risk factors that impact the return process on the FMCG logistics system. The result becomes a reference for decision makers to prioritize risk factors management that have a relationship with other risk factors, because the impact obtained will be maximal.

Abstract

The wheat flour processing industry is a food industry in the form of production of wheat flour needs which has the main raw material in the form of wheat. The increasing demand and increasing competition in the wheat flour industry require the company to maintain its effectiveness level, one of which is machine effectiveness. One example of a machine at a wheat flour processing industry is the BG-04 packer machine. This study aims to analyze the causes of the non-achievement of the effectiveness of the BG-04 Packer machine which is indicated by the Overall Equipment Effectiveness value standard of 85% and the calculation of its constituent elements, namely Availability, Performance, and Quality. The results showed that the Overall Equipment Effectiveness value of the BG-04 Packer Machine was 60%, meaning that it is still far from effective. From the results of the analysis of six big losses and pareto diagrams show the cause of the low ineffectiveness iddling and minor stopages losses caused by machine stops in a short duration but often occurs. Therefore, it is necessary to make improvements through the results of the 5W+1H analysis, namely conducting training on understanding the machine and how to fix it, making the ergonomic chair of the packer operator, making a rubber backer replacement schedule outside production hours, making and applying SOP, processing distribution scheduling with the most optimal method of cleaning the machine before use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor risiko yang memengaruhi kinerja operasional manufaktur kertas dengan pendekatan ISM (Interpretive Structural Modeling) dan MICMAC. Sepuluh faktor utama teridentifikasi melalui wawancara dan observasi, termasuk produk gagal, produk ditolak bagian quality control (QC), produk dikembalikan konsumen, masalah mesin, serta keterampilan pekerja. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan produk dikembalikan konsumen dan keluhan pelanggan memiliki skor tertinggi (mean 4,0), diikuti kesalahan manusia (mean 3,7) dan produk ditolak QC (mean 3,3). Analisis ISM menempatkan faktor produk gagal (RF1), produk ditolak QC (RF2), dan produk dikembalikan (RF3) pada level tertinggi dengan driving power = 10, sehingga menjadi prioritas strategis. MICMAC mengklasifikasikan seluruh faktor dalam cluster linkage, menandakan tingkat keterkaitan yang tinggi antar risiko. Hasil ini mengimplikasikan bahwa optimasi pengendalian kualitas harus difokuskan pada reduksi defect produk, penguatan inspeksi QC, serta peningkatan kecepatan respon terhadap keluhan konsumen. Selain itu, departemen QC perlu menetapkan standar evaluasi berbasis data numerik untuk menurunkan tingkat produk cacat, sementara departemen produksi harus memperketat jadwal perawatan mesin guna mencegah downtime. Dengan demikian, perusahaan dapat merancang strategi mitigasi risiko yang lebih efektif, menekan biaya akibat retur konsumen, serta meningkatkan daya saing di industri manufaktur kertas.

Abstract

The growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has driven an increase in demand for fast, reliable, and high-quality shipping services. One shipping service that has grown rapidly in the digital ecosystem is Shopee Express. As public expectations for the reliability of delivery services continue to rise, various customer complaints still indicate a gap between expectations and reality. The objective of this study is to analyze the quality of service and customer expectations toward Shopee Express using the SERVQUAL approach, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and Potential Gain in Customer Value (PGCV). The method used is a quantitative approach with a questionnaire distributed to 60 respondents. The analysis results show that 16 out of 18 service attributes have negative gap values, indicating that service performance has not met customer expectations. Five attributes identified in Quadrant I of IPA are prioritized for improvement. The packaging security attribute (SI2) is the primary focus due to its highest PGCV value. This study concludes that the combination of the three methods can systematically identify the weaknesses in the quality of Shopee Express delivery services. It is hoped that Shopee Express will pay more attention to the key indicators analyzed, thereby improving service quality and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Managing the production capability of a company is undoubtedly the main concentration in the manufacturing industry. Industries must consider the materials and resources supplied for making a master production schedule. The lack of material supply from a supplier results in the inefficiency of the production process. The supply disruption of raw materials results in problems for the rest of the stages in the production process. As a result, companies experience difficulties in meeting the predetermined target. This research used an integration of RCCP and CCR to solve the problem. Optimization of CCR implies the TOC (theory of constraint) principle by reducing the percentage of overload until reaching a balanced (optimal) condition. This research aims to balance and optimize the ongoing production process. It took place in a manufacturing company that produces building materials serving the market in Indonesia. The results show that during the observation period, the current production system has experienced system overload for about 70% of the production period. The results of the RCCP analysis provide recommendations for improving the master production schedule to increase the effectiveness of the production system.

Abstract

Transportasi memainkan peran krusial dalam menghubungkan pusat-pusat aktivitas dan pelayanan, serta memfasilitasi pertumbuhan ekonomi, sosial, dan mobilitas di suatu wilayah. Pemilihan moda transportasi yang tepat menjadi kunci untuk mengoptimalkan biaya dan meningkatkan efisiensi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Studi kasus ini mengambil contoh Sarah, seorang pekerja kantor di Surabaya, yang mencari cara untuk mengurangi biaya transportasi tanpa mengorbankan kenyamanan dan efisiensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi opsi transportasi yang tersedia menggunakan metode ROC (Rank Order Centroid) dan SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). Metode ROC digunakan untuk memberikan bobot pada kriteria berdasarkan prioritas relatif, sementara SAW digunakan untuk menghitung skor akhir setiap alternatif berdasarkan bobot yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sepeda motor adalah pilihan terbaik berdasarkan kedua metode, dengan keunggulan dalam biaya operasional harian. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan ROC dan SAW dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik dalam mendukung keputusan pemilihan transportasi yang efisien dan efektif.

Abstract

Sistem informasi mendukung proses bisnis, operasi, pengambilan keputusan dan penentuan strategi. PIECES merupakan singkatan dari P untuk performance, I adalah information, E adalah economics, C adalah control, E adalah efficiency dan S adalah service. IPA merupakan teknik dalam pengelolaan atribut dalam empat kuadran. Teknik pengumpulan data primer menggunakan wawancara karyawan Rumah Sakit IIK Bakti Wiyata Kediri. data sekunder menggunakan literatur buku dan jurnal penelitian tentang metode IPA dan PIECES, Kinerja tertinggi pada dimensi Performance dengan skor 4.00 dan kepentingan sebesar 3.72, dimensi Informasi dan Data dengan skor 3.87 dan kepentingan sebesar 3.85. Selanjutnya dimensi Economics dengan skor 3.90 dan kepentingan sebesar 3.77, Control dan Security dengan skor 3.82 dan kepentingan sebesar 3.80, Efficiency dengan skor 3.87 dan kepentingan sebesar 3.67, serta Service dengan skor 3.87 dan kepentingan sebesar 3.73. Prioritas utama dari hasil pengolahan data ini terdapat pada Kuadran I fokus pelatihan reguler dan pengembangan sistem untuk meningkatkan kinerja, pada Kuadran II dengan sistem mudah dipahami,. Prioritas rendah ada di Kuadran III dengan keputusan berdasarkan informasi sistem. prioritas berlebihan di Kuadran IV dengan sistem yang mempercepat pekerjaan. Usulan perbaikan integrasi PIECES-IPA (1) pengembangan sistem. (2) Validasi data. (3) Manajemen data. (4) Kebijakan keamanan data. (5) Integrasi sistem. (6) Desain aplikasi mudah digunakan.

Abstract

Indonesia is a high tourism sector country which provides opportunities for tour and travel service business. Thereby increasing the growth rate of accidents by 3.3%, one of which was caused by buses. Hafizh 58 Jaya, a company in the field of tourism services, had many complaints against drivers about the problem of muscle disorders due to the lack of ergonomic position of the driver or the seat used which was not suitable with the user or not ergonomic. To analyse this problem, IDEAS framework was applied. This method could describe overall minibus driver movement and produce designs that were appropriate with the level of risk on small musculoskeletal disorders. By normal driving activity, the second driver had the largest PEI parameter index value, 2,186. It was categorized as medium to low-risk musculoskeletal disorders. This meant that the actual chair with normal driving activity was not optimal and not ergonomic. The final design of the redesign chair has given optimal and ergonomic results shown by highest PEI index parameter value of 1,336. This PEI index parameter was categorized at the low risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

Abstract

Pengrajin Kampoeng Batik Jetis menangkal dampak pandemi Covid-19 dengan mengelola potensi kejadian risiko dengan menggunakan metode Supply Chain Risk Management. Metode ini mengembangkan kerangka kerja tiga fase yaitu: fase identifikasi risiko, penilaian risiko dan mitigasi risiko.  Potensi kejadian risiko diidentifikasi pada keseluruhan proses bisnis sesuai model SCOR 12.0.  Kemudian dengan penelusuran melalui risk effect dan risk cause melalui metode Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analisys dapat diketahui risk cause yang berada pada kategori: accept, tolerable atau unaccept.  Perancangan aksi mitigasi sebagai tujuan akhir penelitian dirancang dengan menggunakan metode House of Risk 2.  Hasil pengelolaan risiko pada kampoeng batik Jetis mengidentifikasi terdapat 23 potensi kejadian risiko yang terjadi pada keseluruhan proses plan, source, make, deliver, return dan enable.  Kemudian dengan metode Failure Mode Effect and Analisys dan Criticality Analisys diperoleh tujuh risk cause pada kategori unacceptable.  Perancangan aksi mitigasi dengan metode HOR 2 untuk mengantisipasi risk cause tersebut menghasilkan 12 aksi mitigasi, dengan pemberian reward dan motivasi kepada pekerja sebagai aksi mitigasi prioritas pertama.
