Abstract

This research is intended to evaluate the degree of sustainability of garlic development in East Lombok Regency as well as finding levers for its sustainability. Data collection used interview methods and online questionnaires for 45 farmer respondents spread across Sembalun District as the main garlic producer in West Nusa Tenggara. Sustainability evaluation analysis was carried out using farmers' subjective approaches to four dimensions, namely ecology, economics, social, and policy. The research results concluded that the majority of garlic farmers (78%) stated that garlic development had a low level of sustainability and only 22 percent stated that it was moderately sustainable. The three dimensions with a low sustainability category were the economic dimension (0.40), ecology (0.29), and policy (0.27). Meanwhile, the social dimension was in the medium category with a sustainability index (SI) of 0.55. However, overall, the sustainability index was in the low category (SI= 0.37).

Abstract

KWT Al-Ummahat merupakan salah satu kelompok wanita yang produktif di Desa Lendang Nangka Kecamatan Lombok Timur, salah satu produk andalan yang dihasilkan adalah minyak goreng kelapa. Melihat perkembangan produk tersebut maka dilakukan upaya diversifikasi produk KWT yaitu mengolah buah kelapa menjadi minyak kelapa murni atau Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan dengan menekankan pada kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Pengabdian dilakukan selama dua hari di Sekretariat KWT Al-Ummahat Desa Lendang Nangka sebanyak 20 peserta yang merupakan anggota KWT Al Ummahat. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini yaitu: 1) anggota KWT mengetahui manfaat dari minyak kelapa murni (VCO); 2) anggota KWT mengetahui cara dan proses pembuatan VCO; dan 3) anggota KWT memilki produk tambahan sebagai produk usaha bersama yaitu Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) LENKA.

Abstract

Kecamatan Sembalun sebagai salah satu sentra pengembangan bawang putih nasional menunjukkan produksi bawang putih yang meningkat. Hingga saat ini penjualan hasil tani bawang putih didominasi dalam bentuk segar kepada pengepul maupun penangkar lokal. Memegang status destinasi wisata berdampak pada munculnya pelaku usaha mikro kecil menengah di Kecamatan Sembalun sebagai penunjang pariwisata dalam memproduksi produk oleh-oleh khas daerah baik berupa produk kerajinan hingga olahan pangan dan hasil pertanian. Salah satunya yaitu bawang putih dan produk turunannya (black garlic). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan potret dan menganalisis kondisi internal dan eksternal pelaku usaha bawang putih dan produk turunannya di Kecamatan Sembalun. Metode pengolahan dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif, menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara mendalam kepada repsonden yaitu lima pelaku usaha bawang putih dan turunannya yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa selain usaha tani bawang putih terdapat pelaku usaha lainnya seperti penangkar benih bawang putih yaitu CV.Pusuk Pujata dan pelaku usaha olahan bawang putih yaitu KWT Putri Rinjani Sejahtera - UD. Malsye, KWT Segare Muncar, dan KUB Maju Bersama. Hasil analisis menggunakan matriks IE dan Grand Strategy menunjukkan posisi agresif (kuadran I) dan hold and mantain (kuadran V), artinya pelaku usaha bawang putih dan produk turunannya di Kecamatan Sembalun memiliki kondisi yang kuat pada pengembangannya. Oleh sebab itu, perumusan strategi dapat difokuskan pada beberapa aspek seperti 1) intensifikasi pemasaran, 2) pengembangan produk, dan 3) peningkatan kuantitas dan kualitas produk dan pelaku usaha melalui dukungan pemerintah daerah dan pusat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the sustainability category of garlic production in Sembalun District based on ecological, social and economic dimensions. The study was conducted in several villages in Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, involving 50 garlic farmers. Data were collected using interviews based on questionnaires that had been developed and analysed using multidimensional scaling techniques. The study results showed that the ecological and social dimensions were in the good category, while the economic dimension was in the sufficient category. The results of the leverage analysis showed that the level of crop failure and the type of irrigation system attributes were the most sensitive attributes in the ecological dimension. Meanwhile, the attributes that influenced the social dimension were the attributes of participation in health insurance and the availability of farm labour. The two most sensitive attributes in the economic dimension were product marketing and seed prices.

Abstract

Most Indonesian society relies on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as they are able to create and absorb up to 97% of the workforce. Some small businesses have not been able to grow significantly but still try to survive in the face of business competition. The Nine Seru Women Farmers Group (KWT) is one of the microbusiness groups that has survived COVID-19 until now. The unstable condition of KWT, both internally and externally, is an obstacle that is being faced. KWT needs a strategy relevant to its business's current condition. This research aims to formulate a business development strategy for KWT Nine Seru in Lantan Village. The methods used are BMC analysis to provide an overview of KWT Nine Seru's business model using nine key elements, SWOT analysis to formulate alternative business development strategies, and QSPM analysis to determine priority strategies. From the BMC analysis results, several business model improvements are offered to KWT Nine Seru, namely on key partnership elements, value proposition, channel, and cost structure. From the results of the SWOT analysis, eight combination strategies of SO, ST, WO, and WT were obtained. All alternative strategies were further analyzed using QSPM so that a priority strategy was obtained, namely keeping product prices competitive with market prices. The results of this study are important because they contribute to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the first and second SDGs, namely no poverty and zero hunger. Through the strategies produced in this research, the KWT Nine Seru microbusiness group can survive the competition and develop its business so that it can avoid poverty and hunger due to not having a source of income.

Abstract

Pengabdian awal mengenai pengolahan keripik jamur tiram telah dilakukan, namun komposisi bahan dalam membuat keripik jamur pada resep sebelumnya cukup sederhana dan hanya mengandalkan kombinasi dari beberapa tepung. Hal ini mendorong Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Keselet Karya merasa perlu melakukan peningkatan rasa dari keripik jamur tiram. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi KWT Keselet Karya dalam meningkatkan kualitas rasa keripik jamur tiram melalui penerapan resep alternatif keripik jamur tiram. Dalam pelaksanaannya, tim menggunakan metode partisipatif interaktif dan membagi kegiatan ke dalam tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung dengan baik dan selama pelaksanaannya tidak ditemukan kendala yang cukup berarti. Tim telah melaksanakan pendampingan kepada peserta sesuai dengan tahapan-tahapan yang telah direncanakan. Dalam rangka peningkatan rasa, KWT Keselet Karya telah diberikan resep baru yang fokus pada campuran bumbu halus dengan jamur tiram sebelum ditaburi tepung. Peserta didampingi oleh tim juga telah mendemonstrasikan langkah-langkah membuat keripik jamur dengan alternatif resep tersebut.

Abstract

Peningkatan Pendapatan Asli Desa (PADesa) merupakan salah satu isu yang menjadi perhatian karena lambatnya pergerakan perekonomian di pedesaan. Kendala yang dihadapi tidak lain adalah kurangnya kemampuan masyarakat dan pemerintah desa dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan potensi dan sumberdaya yang dimiliki. BUMDesa merupakan salah satu lembaga yang diharapkan dan diberikan wewenang dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan sumberdaya dan potensi yang dimiliki oleh desa dalam bentuk beberapa jenis usaha yang nantinya dapat meningkatkan PADesa. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mensosialisasikan peran dan fungsi BUMDesa dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan aset dan potensi desa dalam meningkatkan aktivitas perekonomian masyarakat desa khususnya Desa Wisata Tetebatu di Kecamatan Sikur, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Kegiatan dihadiri sebanyak 20 peserta yang terdiri dari perwakilan pelaku UMKM, kelompok sadar wisata, kelompok tani dan ternak, pengrajin (handcraft), anggota BUMDesa, dan pemerintah desa. Pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui beberapa kegiatan seperti observasi lokasi dan mitra, Focus Group Discussion, sosialisasi, dan evaluasi. Setelah dilaksanakannya sosialisasi, masyarakat desa memiliki kesadaran dan pemahaman akan pentingnya BUMDes dalam meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Selain itu, masyarakat desa juga menunjukkan antusias yang positif dan berinisiatif memulai kembali kegiatan perekonomian berbasis kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan dengan memanfaatkan sumberdaya dan potensi desa yang dimiliki. Socialization Of The Role And Function Of “Bumdes” In Efforts To Improve The Community's Economy Through The Potential Of The Tetebatu Tourism Village Increasing Village Original Income (PADesa) is one of the issues that is of concern because of the slow movement of the economy in rural areas. The obstacle faced is none other than the lack of ability of the community and village government to manage and utilize the potential and resources they have. BUMDesa is one of the institutions that is expected and given authority to manage and utilize the resources and potential possessed by the village in the form of several types of businesses which can later increase PADesa. The purpose of this service is to socialize the role and function of BUMDesa in managing and utilizing village assets and potential in increasing the economic activities of village communities, especially Tetebatu Tourism Village in Sikur District, West Lombok Regency. The activity was attended by twenty people consist of representatives of MSME actors, tourism awareness groups, farmer and livestock groups, craftsmen (handcraft), BUMDesa members, and village government. Community service is carried out through several activities such as location and partner observations, Focus Group Discussions, outreach and discussions. After the socialization was carried out, the village community had awareness and understanding of the importance of BUMDes in improving the economy and community welfare. Abstract

Wabot atau WhatsApp Chatbot merupakan salah satu fitur yang dikembangkan oleh aplikasi WhatsApp, khususnya WhatsApp Business. Munculnya aplikasi dan fitur-fitur tersebut disebabkan oleh perkembangan teknologi digital yang semakin massiv dan menyesuaikan kebutuhan pengguna. Pelaku usaha mikro kecil yang terletak di pelosok daerah membutuhkan bantuan untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi, salah satunya adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani Nine Seru yang ada di Desa Lantan Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Kelompok tersebut telah berdiri cukup lama, namun belum mampu memanfaatkan teknologi untuk menjawab kebutuhan konsumen secara online. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman KWT Nine Seru tentang Wabot dan cara untuk mengaktifkan, serta menggunakanya. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa tedapat peningkatan pemahaman peserta kegiatan tentang Wabot dan cara untuk mengaktifkannya. Hal ini dibuktikan dari jawaban 71% peserta kegiatan yang setuju bahwa Wabot bermanfaat untuk membangun kepercayaan konsumen melalui respon cepat dan otomatis. Sebagai luaran pengabdian, KWT Nine Seru telah memiliki aplikasi Whatsapp Business yang dapat digunakan untuk menjual dan mempromosikan produknya. Utilisation of the Wabot Feature As A Response To Consumer Needs Online At KWT Nine Seru In Lantan Village Wabot, or WhatsApp Chatbot, is one of the features developed by the WhatsApp application, especially WhatsApp Business. The emergence of these applications and features is due to the development of digital technology, which is increasingly massive and adapts to user needs. Micro and small businesses located in remote areas need help adapting to technology, one of which is the Nine Seru Women Farmers Group in Lantan Village, Central Lombok Regency. The group has been established for a long time, but has not been able to utilise technology to answer consumer needs online. Therefore, the purpose of this service activity is to increase KWT Nine Seru's understanding of Wabot and how to activate and use it. The service implementation method is divided into three stages, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in the participants' understanding of Wabot and how to activate it. This is evidenced by the answers of 71% of activity participants who agree that Wabot is useful for building consumer trust through fast and automatic responses. As an output of the service, KWT Nine Seru has a WhatsApp Business application that can be used to sell and promote its products.

Abstract

AbstrakDesa Kuta merupakan salah satu daerah yang diprioritaskan untuk pengembangan pariwisata di Pulau Lombok. Salah satu unit bisnis lokal adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Rasa Saling Sayang Kuta Mandalika yang memproduksi berbagai produk makanan olahan, termasuk keripik. KWT tersebut masih memproduksi keripik secara tradisional dan memiliki pemahaman terbatas terkait teknologi modern, sehingga mengakibatkan rendahnya kuantitas produksi dan tidak konsistennya kualitas produk. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam menggunakan teknologi vacuum frying dan spinner untuk produksi keripik di KWT Rasa Saling Sayang. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian terbagi menjadi tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan dan koordinasi awal, tahap pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta tahap evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Seluruh tahapan tersebut diikuti oleh 15 orang anggota KWT. Kegiatan pengabdian terlaksana dengan lancar dan hasil uji produksi mandiri menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam pembuatan keripik menggunakan teknologi vacuum frying dan spinner. Diharapkan setelah kegiatan ini, KWT dapat memanfaatkan teknologi vacuum frying dan spinner secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan kualitas keripiknya. Kata kunci: keripik; kuta mandalika; vacuum frying AbstractKuta Village is one of the key areas prioritized for tourism development on Lombok Island. One of the local business units is the Rasa Saling Sayang Women Farmers Group (WFG), which produces a variety of processed food products, including chips. Currently, the WFG produces chips using traditional method because of their limited understanding of modern technology, resulting in low production quantities and inconsistent product quality. The goal of this community service activity is to provide training and assistance in using spinner and vacuum frying technology for chips production at the Rasa Saling Sayang WFG. The implementation method is divided into three stages, namely the preparation and initial coordination stage, the training and mentoring stage, and the evaluation and follow-up stage. All stages were attended by 15 WFG’s members. The activities were carried out smoothly and the results of the independent production test showed an improvement in the knowledge and skills of the participants in making chips using spinner and vacuum frying technology. It is hoped that following this training, the WFG will be able to utilize vacuum frying and spinner technology independently and sustainably, thereby increasing their production capacity and chips quality. Keywords: chips; kuta mandalika; vacuum frying

Abstract

Food insecurity remains a significant challenge in many rural areas, including in Segala Anyar Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok. This village is characterized by dryland farming systems that heavily rely on the rainy season, causing agricultural activities to halt during the dry season. This condition directly affects food availability and household income. Meanwhile, Segala Anyar Village has considerable yard space (home gardens) that has yet to be optimally utilized. This community engagement program aimed to optimize yard utilization through a microfarming approach as a strategy to achieve community-based food self-sufficiency. The activity was carried out from April to June 2025 using participatory and applicative methods. The participatory method was applied in identifying land potential and planning the program with local residents, while the applicative method involved hands-on training in organic home garden cultivation and growing media preparation. The results of the program indicated an increase in community knowledge and skills in managing yard space, along with the formation of a microfarming working group to support program sustainability. The microfarming approach proved to be a strategic solution for addressing food access disparities in dryland farming areas and promoting sustainable food self-sufficiency at the household and community levels
