Abstract

The aim of implementing this service program is to help solve the problems faced by MSMES in Batam City, especially in digital marketing. The MSMEs targeted are Harum Bakery which focuses on the bread sector. Previously, Harum Bakery's sales system was still based on a consignment system in minimarkets, markets and supermarkets. Since the beginning, Harum Bakery has only used traditional marketing methods, namely word of mouth. Therefore, in this activity the author will help design and implement digital marketing at Harum Bakery. The method used in this activity is observation and interviews with MSMEs owners. The results of this activity prove that the application of digital marketing can provide many benefits for Harum Bakery, such as increasing revenue or product sales, reaching a wider range of consumers, increasing brand awareness, and being able to compete with other competitors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and show the influence of risk factors on the trust of the Batam city community which affects online shopping intentions. This research is quantitative in nature. The population of this research is consumers buying goods through online stores. The sample size of this study was 209 respondents. This research data processing uses the SmartPLS application. The data for this study were obtained from primary and secondary sources, primary data were obtained through questionnaires while secondary data were obtained from sources already available from journals, bulletins, and data from the internet. In analyzing the data, researchers used descriptive analysis methods to analyze respondent demographics and quantitative analysis to test variables and relationships between variables using SPSS. The result of this study is that there is a significant positive influence between financial risk, product risk, social risk, security risk and time risk with trust on Online Purchase Intention in Batam. Trust affects online purchase Intention, when trust can be an intermediary that causes consumers' desire to shop in e-commerce, when the higher the level of store trust can affect consumer confidence as well as the resulting online purchase intention. Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi niat pembelian Korean skincare pada masyarakat Kota Batam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kausalitas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada responden. Hasil dari penyebaran kuesioner selanjutnya dianalisa dengan menggunakan SEM PLS (Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Brand Association, Brand Awareness, Brand Loyalty dan Perceived quality berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Niat beli Korean Skincare .

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect customer loyalty to coffee shops in Batam City. Data were collected by distributing Google Form questionnaires to customers who had bought and visited coffee shops in Batam City. Therefore, the sample size obtained in this study was 328 respondents using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques. The result of this study indicates that service quality has an insignificant impact on customer satisfaction. However, price, brand image, store atmosphere, and product quality have a significant positive impact towards customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction have a significant positive impact towards customer loyalty. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi loyalitas pelanggan terhadap coffee shop di Kota Batam. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner Google Form kepada pelanggan yang pernah membeli dan mengunjungi coffee shop di Kota Batam. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 328 responden dengan menerapkan purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan teknik Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil pada penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kualitas layanan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Namun harga, citra merek, suasana toko, dan kualitas produk berdampak signifikan positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, kepuasan pelanggan berdampak signifikan positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

Croffle Eat SME is a snack type business, namely croffle, which is located in Bengkong Laut. This business has been established since 2021, but it seems that there are still many people who don't know the Croffle Eat brand. Therefore, this research was conducted to help partners develop their business through the use of digital marketing such as building brand profiles on social media and advertising to increase consumer interest. As for the things that are done to increase sales turnover at Croffle Eat, namely by implementing the promotion mix strategy. Based on the results of an analysis of the obstacles experienced by partners, it was found that there were obstacles, namely the lack of promotion on social media which caused weak brand awareness in these MSMEs. Therefore, this research was conducted to integrate the implementation of the promotion mix marketing strategy by creating interesting content along with the right consumer targeting and in accordance with the results of a consumer survey to increase partner sales.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and balance of the national economy, therefore each SME is entitled to special rights and powers in conducting their business. One of those powers requires that every SME is able to adapt and follow the tren of economic movement that tends to utilize digital technology. This research aims to determine the impact of Digital Marketing Strategies Using Social Media and E-Commerce on the Development of Yasmin's Brownies SME Business. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative research design utilizing primary and secondary data sources obtained through observations conducted through interviews and surveys conducted by distributing questionnaires. This research resulted in the impact of digital marketing on Yasmin's Brownies SME by utilizing the digital media platform Instagram as a marketing media and expanding the marketing and sales reach of the SME using the e-commerce platform Tokopedia. The impact of this research aims to provide solutions to marketing problems faced by SMEs that are starting to venture into digital media in the process of marketing their products to consumers in a wider reach.

Abstract

Purpose– The study aims to determine the effect of online advertising on the intention to buy a smartphone during the Covid-19 pandemic in Batam. Methodology/approach– Research using a comparative causal method. The population in this study is the Batam people. The research sample is the people of Batam who have seen the smartphone online advertisements and have the intention to buy a smartphone. The samples collected in the study were 310 respondents. The data is processed using SmartPLS and SPSS software. Findings– The results showed Informativeness, Entertainment, Incentives, and Credibility had significant positive effect towards Advertising Value. Advertising Value had a significant positive effect on purchase intention. It was also found that Irritation had no significant effect on Advertising Value.Novelty/value– This study highlight the importance of Informativeness, Entertainment, Incentives, and Credibility to Advertising Value for designing appropriate advertisements in the future in order to increase purchase intention. Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to verify whether the variables in social media advertising affect the Purchase Intention of sportswear products mediated by the Attitudes toward Advertising variable. Methodology/ approach – This study uses a causal-comparative method. The population in this study is the people of Batam City who actively use social media. The research sample is Batam City people who have watched social media advertisements. The sample collected in this study numbered 305 respondents. The data is then processed using SmartPLS software. Findings – It is found that social media advertising variables, namely Entertainment, Informativeness, Emotional Appeal, and Creativity have a significant positive effect on Attitudes toward Advertising and indirectly influence Purchase Intention mediated by Attitudes toward Advertising. Novelty/value – This study differentiates itself from the previous research not discussing sportswear products during the Covid-19 pandemic in Batam City. Abstract

The presence of new variant of the covid 19 Omicron virus will certainly leads to the public alert. In order to prevent transmission, the government recommends that people should reduce direct interactions between individuals. This condition is an opportunity for companies providing Online Food Delivery Applications (OFDA) to take benefit from increased transactions which occur during COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, research on OFDA is still focused on OFDA consumers as a research’s Objects. On the other hand, the OFDA provider companies benefit from the profit sharing provided by food and beverage sellers who sell their products at APMSD. The results of this research are believed to be able to help APMSD companies in developing effective marketing strategies in order to attract sales partners to continue using OFDA. This research uses five independent variables, namely performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, trust and price value. Data processing using SPSS application involving sample size of 158 respondents. This study reveals that social influence, trust and price value have a positive significant effect on intention to use OFDA. While two other independent namely Performance expectancy, Effort expectancy does not have significant influence to the dependent variable.

Abstract

According to Market Study Report in 2020, global sportswear sales are expected to reach USD 308.3 billion at a CAGR of 4.6% in 2025. Indonesia is considered one of the potential markets for the sportswear industry due to its large population. This study examines the Purchase Intention of consumers for sportswear using Social Media Marketing, Brand Loyalty, and Brand Awareness. The findings of this study will assist sportswear retailers in developing sales-boosting Social Media Marketing strategies. Research data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 160 consumers who had purchased sportswear and had access to social media. The purposive sampling technique was used to identify the respondents. The smartPLS 3.0 was used to process the data application and the Structural Equation Model (SEM) Partial Least Square statistical method. The findings revealed that social media marketing positively and significantly influenced brand loyalty. Simultaneously, Brand Awareness and Purchase Intention mediated the relationship between Social Media Marketing and Brand Loyalty.
