Abstract

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world has resulted in changes in all aspects of life, including the education aspect. Initially, education was held face-to-face, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, face-to-face learning began to be limited. Face-to-face learning is replaced with online learning (e-learning) based on a learning management system (LMS) so that students are expected to still be able to learn even from home. The implementation of e-learning in the teaching and learning process in schools requires digital literacy competencies. Through e-learning students can access various information on the internet so that digital literacy skills are one solution in responding to the challenges of technological advances. This study aims to analyze the digital literacy skills of elementary school students through the application of LMS-based e-learning. This research is a descriptive analysis. The subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students who applied LMS-based e-learning as many as 25 students. While the data collection methods used are surveys and interviews. Data analysis methods used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and decision making. The results showed that there were three aspects, most of the students had sufficient digital literacy skills and there were four aspects where most of the students had good abilities. So it can be concluded that the students' digital literacy abilities are mostly in the sufficient and good category. Thus, e-learning can have an impact on students' digital literacy skills.

Abstract

Patchouli (Pogostemon Cablin Bent) has higher PA (Patchouli Alcohol) and oil production if grown in soil containing 75% organic matter. One way that can be used to detect the content of organic matter is to use soil images. The problem in the use of soil images is the color of the soil that is almost similar, namely the gradation between dark brown to black. Therefore, color features are not enough to be used as input in the recognition process. For this purposes, texture features are added in this study in addition to color features. The color features are extracted using color moment and the texture features are extracted using Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM). These feature was then chosen to get the best combination as input in the identification process using the Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN). The system identifies the quantity of soil organic matter into five classes, namely very low, low, medium, high, and very high. The highest accuracy result obtained was 73% and MSE value 0.5122 by using five GLCM features (Angular Second Moment, contrast, correlation, Inverse Difference Moment, and entropy). This result was obtained by using the BPNN parameter, namely learning rate values 0.5, maximum iteration values of 1000, number training data 210, and total test data 12.

Abstract

Contemporary contractual relations in Indonesia are marred by structural inequalities, where powerful entities exploit vulnerable parties (consumers, workers, MSMEs) through standard form contracts, undermining the Civil Code’s principle of freedom of contract. Despite legal protections (e.g., Consumer Protection Law, Labor Law), weak enforcement and low awareness perpetuate injustice. This study examines the urgency of legal protection for weak parties, evaluates existing frameworks, and proposes reforms grounded in dignity justice to align contract law with social equity. A qualitative, normative-juridical approach analyzes legislation, jurisprudence (e.g., Supreme Court rulings), and scholarly theories. Exploitative clauses persist due to imbalanced bargaining power, but progressive judicial interpretation (ex aequo et bono) and dignity justice can mitigate inequities. The study advocates for legislative reforms, technological solutions (e.g., AI-assisted aid), and enhanced judicial training to ensure substantive justice, offering a blueprint for equitable contract law in Indonesia’s digital economy.

Abstract

Abstract CCTV has been implemented to monitor various activities within Brawijaya University, including vehicle traffic at the campus gate. Surveillance at night in low light intensity conditions is a challenge in the use of CCTV. This is due to the low image quality that hampers the system's ability to detect and identify objects correctly. One of the problems that arise in the case of lack of lighting is the appearance of flares or glare caused by vehicle lights that point directly to the CCTV. Therefore, in this research, U-Net segmentation and inpaint restoration are used to preprocess data before object detection using the YOLOv5 framework. The results of object detection testing obtained precision values of 0.942, recall 0.873, and F1-Score 0.88 on models preprocessed using U-Net segmentation and inpaint restoration. These values are higher by 0.032 in precision, 0.018 in recall, and 0.3 in F1-Score when compared to the model without preprocessing.
