Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of rhythmic movement on the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. The research was an experimental study (one group pretest-posttest). The population consisted of 74 children, with a sample of 24 children from group B3, aged 5-6 years, at TK Negeri Pembina Ki Hajar Dewantoro. The data analysis technique was supported by statistical data processing. The research results showed an increase in the average pre-test score, with a mean of 12.95 and a standard deviation of 2.45. Meanwhile, the average post-test score was 25.87, with a standard deviation of 4.01. These results indicate a significant effect before and after the treatment. Based on the t-test, the calculated tcount= 13.44, while the table t-table at (a) = 0.05 was 2.064. Since tcount > ttable; 13.44>2.064, Ho is rejected, and Hi is confirmed. If tcount > ttable, it means there is an influence of rhythmic movement on the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina Ki Hajar Dewantoro, Kota Selatan District, Gorontalo City.

Supervisor 1: Icam Sutisna, S.Pd., M.Pd and Supervisor II: Sri Rawanti, S.Pd., M.Pd. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the Description of Children's Independence Reviewed from Parenting Patterns at Dewi Sartika Kindergarten, Sipatana District, Gorontalo City". This study aims to determine how the description of children's independence is reviewed from parenting patterns at Dewi Sartika Kindergarten, Sipatana District, Gorontalo City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out by observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data display and verification. Based on the results of the research and the discussion described, it can be concluded that democratic parenting supports children's independence, characterized by the child's ability to take the initiative, be confident, not depend on others, and be able to solve problems independently. In contrast, permissive and authoritarian parenting tend to inhibit these aspects. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of parents in providing the right space for children to learn independently according to their developmental stage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh finger painting terhadap kemampuan anak usia dini di Paud Pelangi Harapan Desa Kayubulan Kec. Batudaa Pantai. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metodeekperimenyangmenggunakan perlakuan untuk mempengaruhi sampel penelitian dengan anggapan akan terjadi suatu perubahan pada kemampuan motorik halus anak. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan metode ekperimen dalam kegiatan pembelajaran finger painting memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok A di Paud Pelangi Harapan Desa Kayubulan Kec. Batudaa Pantai. Rata-rata peningkatan nilai pre-test menuju post-test adalah 13,39 atau setara dengan 33,48%. Adapun hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan hipotesis (Hi) diterima dengan uji regresi linier nilai signifikan 0,000 dan lebih kecil dari 0,05. Jika nilai <0,05 maka Ho ditolak H1 di terima. Jika nilai signifikan >0.05 maka Ho di terima H1 di tolak. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh finger painting terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to socialize the importance of early childhood education in developing children's potential. In carrying out this community service activity, the lecture method is used, namely through the technique of presenting socialization material, which was followed by a question and answer discussion between the presenters/resources and the participants. The low level of public awareness in participating in early childhood education services is due to a lack of information and heavy economic conditions/burden which means that early education is not a top priority for the community compared to food and clothing needs. This socialization activity needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis by involving various related parties (stakeholders), including the village government, mothers and PKK cadres, parents of children, the private sector and campuses so that they receive financial support, personnel and human resources to support carrying out similar activities. in the future. The implementation of socialization activities began with the presentation of the first speaker, then continued with the presentation of the second speaker and ended with a question and answer session for participants and presenters. This activity produces additional information for participants in the form of knowledge and understanding about the importance of early childhood education in developing children's potential. With this additional information, it is hoped that public awareness will increase in involving their children in early childhood education services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar anak usia 5-6 tahun pasca pandemi covid-19 di TK Camar 1 desa Olimoo'o Kecamatan batudaa pantai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang membahas tentang peran orang tua dalam menumbuhkan minat anak, bagaimana menciptakan minat belajar anak dan memotivasi belajar anak. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 11 orang tua anak di TK Camar 1 desa Olimoo'o Kecamatan Batudaa pantai Kabupaten Gorontalo. Objek penelitian ini adalah orang tua, anak dan guru. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi, teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar anak terlihat baik dan secara umum peran orang tua dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar anak sudah dilakukan oleh orang tua anak, akan tetapi ada juga orang tua yang belum melakukan perannya .

Abstract

This research aims to determine how interactive PowerPoint affects early childhood symbolic thinking skills at Tribrata Kindergarten, Tupa Villiage. This quantitative research uses a pre-experimental design method with one group pre-test and post-test format. The research sample was comprised of 16 children, and a total sampling technique was used. The data collection technique was done using a performance test. The result showed a difference between the ability to think symbolically before and after using interactive PowerPoint. The average numbers before and after the use of interactive PowerPoint media are 11,875 and 19,75. This proved a significant difference before and after treatment. Based on the t-test using paired two samples for means, the tcount value = 10,47 while the ttable value at (α) = 0,05 or 2,131; therefore, tcount>ttable or 10,47>2,131. since tcount>ttable, the H0 is rejected and H1 is confirmed, which means there was an effect between the use of interactive PowerPoint on the symbolic thinking skills of early childhood at Tribrata Kindergarten, Tupa Village.

Abstract

In this study, the goal to be achieved was to determine differences in children's adjustment to learning at home during the Covid 19 pandemic in terms of parents' social encouragement and children's self-regulation in the city of Gorontalo. The approach used in this research is quantitative. The method used in this study is a survey method using data collection techniques through questionnaires. There are three questionnaires used, namely the child's self-adjustment questionnaire, the parent's social encouragement questionnaire, and the self-regulation questionnaire. The research subjects were 120 parents who had children aged 5-7 years who attended state kindergartens in the city of Gorontalo. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling, which means that the sampling takes into account the representation of all state kindergarten schools evenly in every sub-district throughout Gorontalo City. The data analysis technique used is a two-way ANOVA hypothesis test. Previously, the data had been tested for validity and reliability as well as assumption tests so that the data produced was completely unbiased and consistent. Hypothesis test results F = 0.683 with p = 0.508 (p <0.05) so there is no interaction between children's self-adjustment and learning at home during the Covid-19 pandemic in terms of parental social support and children's self-regulation. In addition, the results of hypothesis testing between children's adjustment to parental social support obtained F=0.095 with p=0.910 (p<0.05) meaning that there was no difference in child adjustment in terms of parental social support. Likewise, if the hypothesis test between the child's self-adjustment and the child's self-regulation yields F = 0.064 with p = 0.614 (p <0.05) it means that there is no difference in the child's adjustment in terms of the child's self-regulation. So it can be concluded that there is no difference in children's adjustment to learning at home during the Covid 19 pandemic in terms of social support and parental self-regulation both collectively and individually.

Abstract

Although various theories emphasize the importance of sensorimotor activities in child development, the application of concrete media, such as sensory boards, in Montessori learning remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to develop and explore the use of sensory board media to enhance the sensorimotor skills of children in Montessori kindergartens. This research follows a Research and Development (RD) approach involving ten stages of Borg Gall’s educational research and development that the results are summarized in three key results, namely need assessment, development stage, model feasibility and product trial. The instruments used in this study included questionnaires and expert validation sheets. The findings of this study indicate the urgency of developing media that support rhythm relay activities. The results uncovered that the developed sensory board media is highly suitable for use in Montessori learning. The media expert provided a score of 89%, and the content expert rated it at 89.6%. Meanwhile, small-group testing yielded a score of 87.5%, and large-group testing resulted in 88.5%. The study suggests that sensory boards can effectively support sensorimotor development in early childhood students, and further dissemination of sensory board media in rhythm relay activities can further stimulate sensorimotor skills in early childhood.

Abstract

The study problems are: "Is there a significant effect of puzzle games on reducing impulsive behavior in hyperactive children aged 5-6 years at TK Al-Khairat Kindergartens, Gorontalo City?" The study aims to determine the impact of puzzle games on reducing impulsive behavior in hyperactive children aged 5-6 years at TK Al-Khairat Kindergartens, Gorontalo City. The study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design, where tests were conducted before and after the treatment. The subjects were four hyperactive children aged 5-6 years in Group B at TK Al-Khairat Kindergarten, Gorontalo City. The study focused on reducing impulsive tendencies in hyperactive children through puzzle games. Data collection for the pre-test and post-test was conducted using research instruments and analyzed statistically. The results showed a significant difference in hyperactive children's average impulsive behavior scores before and after the intervention, with pre-test and post-test scores of 16.00 and 23.50, respectively. The findings confirm a significant effect of the intervention. The t-test results showed a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1. It can thus be concluded that there is a significant difference in impulsive behavior between the pre-test and post-test data, indicating that the X variable significantly affects the y variable.

Abstract

This activity aims to socialize the importance of school and family synergy in children's social and emotional development. This activity uses a lecture method, namely by presenting socialization material followed by questions and answers between the presenter and participants. During childhood, children's emotional development is not yet stable, so it becomes a problem for children in socializing. For example, temper tantrums, anxiety, phobias, and aggression. In Kindergarten in Popodu village, Bolaang Uki district, these problems arise more often because the social environment is wider and more diverse than the family. To overcome these problems, school and family synergy is needed. The implementation of socialization begins with the presentation of the first resource person, then continues with the second resource person and ends with a question and answer session for participants and resource persons. This activity produces additional information for participants in the form of understanding and knowledge about the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents in developing children's social emotions. Forms of collaboration that can be carried out include: dialogue and meetings between teachers and parents, involving parents and teachers in efforts to support children's development both in the family and at school as well as reciprocal visits between teachers and parents at home and at school.
