Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of financial socialization and social media influence on young consumers' behavioral patterns, focusing on age and gender differences. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the research examines how technological advancements and social factors shape financial literacy and spending habits among youth. Findings indicate that while age influences engagement with social media and influencers, fundamental financial behaviors like budgeting show minimal variation across age groups. Gender analysis reveals significant differences in price comparison behaviors, suggesting the need for targeted marketing strategies. The study emphasizes the importance of financial literacy education in a digital context and highlights opportunities for further research on cultural influences and evolving consumer behaviors. Overall, the insights gained underscore the critical role of social media and technology in shaping the financial practices of young consumers.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of social media on investment decision-making, focusing on various factors such as frequency of use, preferred platforms, and perceptions of reliability. Using ANOVA analysis, the research reveals that the frequency of social media use and the belief in its reliability significantly affect investors' behaviours. Participants who use social media more frequently and trust the information sourced from it are more likely to let it guide their investment choices. However, the specific platforms and the overall belief in social media’s positive influence do not significantly affect decision-making. These findings underscore the complex role of social media in shaping investment behaviours, highlighting both its potential benefits and risks, such as the spread of misinformation. Future research could explore the credibility of different content types and the evolving landscape of social media's impact on global investment practices.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of demographic factors-age, gender, and education level-on consumer preferences and behaviors in online shopping. Through a quantitative analysis using ANOVA, data from 119 participants highlight that age and education level significantly impact perceptions of platform selection, product security, and the importance of reviews, while gender differences are less pronounced. Key findings indicate that younger consumers value convenience and variety, while higher-educated users prioritize security and trust in reviews. These insights are critical for e-commerce platforms aiming to enhance user experience and drive engagement by aligning their strategies with demographic-specific needs. The study provides a foundation for further research on evolving consumer behaviors and offers global relevance as e-commerce continues its rapid expansion.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between cinema and consumer Behaviour, focusing on how age and gender influence purchasing decisions after viewing movies. A total of 105 respondents from Ahmedabad, India, were surveyed using a structured questionnaire that assessed movie-watching habits, preferred platforms, and the impact of films on purchasing Behaviour. The data was analyzed using **SPSS** with **ANOVA (Analysis of Variance)** to examine the differences in Behaviours across different age groups and genders. The results revealed that while age significantly influenced whether respondents made purchases after seeing products in films, gender did not have a substantial effect on viewing habits or purchase decisions. The findings highlight the increasing influence of cinema, particularly among younger audiences, in shaping consumer preferences for products and services. The study suggests that the entertainment industry and marketers can benefit from a deeper understanding of these trends to better target consumer segments. Future research could explore the impact of cultural factors and digital media on these Behaviours.

Abstract

The article compares general educational programmes and specialized programmes in the key advantages offered by each. Advocates for general educational programs opine that a broad-based education better equips students for success in a rapidly changing job market, while supporters of specialized programmes believe that a more targeted education is more efficient and effective. This article provides an overview of the main arguments on both sides and considers the evidence from empirical studies. The paper concludes that the optimal approach depends on the individual student and their future career aspirations.

Abstract

Emotion recognition is a vital component of human–computer interaction and intelligent systems, yet robust multimodal emotion recognition remains challenging due to high-dimensional input space, noisy features, and the complexity of integrating heterogeneous modalities. This study proposes a novel hybrid multimodal framework that enhances both accuracy and computational efficiency by combining the semantic representation capability of Large Language Models (LLMs) with the optimization strengths of metaheuristic algorithms. In the proposed approach, an LLM is utilized to extract high-level contextual features from text and audio streams, while the Binary Artificial Hummingbird Algorithm (BAHA) performs feature selection to remove redundant attributes. Subsequently, the Goose Algorithm (GA) optimizes classifier hyperparameters, and the Komodo Mlipir Algorithm (KMA) conducts late fusion of the final multimodal outputs. Experiments conducted on the Interactive Emotional Dyadic Motion Capture (IEMOCAP) dataset, evaluated on six emotion categories, demonstrate that this hybrid approach successfully captures subtle affective cues and surpasses state-of-the-art baselines, achieving an accuracy of 87.5%. Integrating LLMs with multiple specialized metaheuristics therefore yields a substantially more robust emotion recognition pipeline and represents a promising direction toward the development of more emotionally intelligent systems.

Abstract

Purpose: This study designs and implements a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) for classifying prosperous families in Dusun Cibanban, Desa Gerning, Tegineneng District, Pesawaran Regency, Indonesia, applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The work addresses the inefficiency and subjectivity of manual welfare assessment routines used by local administrators.Methodology: A design science research approach guided development, following the waterfall model through requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. AHP derived priority weights from pairwise comparisons among welfare criteria adapted from national family welfare standards, implemented using Personal Home Page (PHP) with CodeIgniter, JavaScript, and MySQL.Results: The system computed AHP priority weights for every household head across six welfare criteria and produced a ranked classification for 102 households. Black-box testing confirmed all primary modules operated without defects. The household head Marsidi obtained the highest composite score, 0.1736, with a criteria consistency ratio of 0.071, within Saaty's acceptable threshold. Conclusions: The system replaces a slow, subjective manual procedure with a faster, more transparent classification mechanism accessible through an ordinary browser.Limitations: The evaluation was confined to a single sub-village with 102 household heads, criteria weights rested on expert elicitation rather than empirical validation, and concurrency performance under production loads was not assessed. Contributions: The study offers a documented, replicable community-level AHP-DSS implementation that local administrators elsewhere in Indonesia can adapt for data-driven welfare targeting.

Abstract

The Indonesia-China High-Speed Rail Project is a strategic national infrastructure project operated by PT KCIC, a joint venture between a consortium of Indonesian state-owned enterprises (PSBI) and China Railway International. Although it promises modern connectivity with a travel time of 40 minutes, the project faces a major challenge in the form of cost overruns from the initial estimate to approximately US$7.27 billion (around Rp118.37 trillion). This study aims to evaluate the business viability of a post-operational project, focusing on financial aspects (profitability), economic aspects (social impact), and an analysis of investment risks resulting from construction delays and debt burdens.
