Abstract

This study aims to determine the best type of herbicide in controlling weeds on the railroad tracks. This research was carried out from June - September 2022 beside the railroad plot of the Pariaman Station - Naras Station, West Sumatra. This study was arranged according to a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 5 levels of herbicide treatment namely glyphosate 135 ml/15L, paraquat 67.5 ml/15L, sulfentrazone 67.5 ml/15L, glufosinate 135 ml/15L, and no treatment. From the research results, it was found that the best type of herbicide that can control weeds on the edges of the railway is glyphosate herbicide 135 ml/15L. This can be shown in the SDR value with the dominant weed population being small until the 49th day from both broadleaf weeds, grasses, and puzzles. Glyphosate herbicide was effective in controlling weeds up to 49 HSA and weeds grew back on 56 days HSA. Keywords: efficacy, weed, herbicide, identification. INTISARIPenelitin ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis herbisida terbaik dalam mengendalikan gulma pada pinggiran jalan kereta api.  Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan dari bulan Juni – September 2022 dipinggir jalan rel kereta api petak jalan Stasiun Pariaman – Stasiun Naras Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini disusun menurut Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan herbisida yaitu glifosat 135 ml/15L, parakuat 67,5 ml/15L, sulfentrazone 67,5 ml/15L, glufosinat 135 ml/15L, dan tanpa perlakuan. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan jenis herbisida terbaik yang dapat mengendalikan gulma pada pinggiran kereta api adalah herbisida glifosat 135 ml/15L. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan pada nilai SDR dengan populasi dominan gulma menjadi kecil hingga hari ke-49 baik dari gulma berdaun lebar, rerumputan, dan teki-tekian. Herbisida glifosat efektif mengendalikan gulma hingga 49 HSA dan gulma tumbuh kembali pada hari 56 HSA. Kata kunci : efikasi, gulma, herbisida, identifikasi.

Abstract

The village of Sungai Nanam, Lembah Gumanti, is an area in Solok Regency, West Sumatra, that produces significant organic waste from horticultural agriculture. If not managed properly, this waste can cause environmental and aesthetic issues. However, this waste can be converted into an eco-enzyme. An eco-enzyme is a liquid enzyme produced by fermenting organic waste. Eco-enzyme has many benefits, including being used as a liquid organic fertilizer, cleaner, and pest repellent. This community service aims to educate and train the community, especially the women farmers group, named Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Rimbo Data Sejahtera, on converting organic waste into eco-enzymes. The program used three methods: socialization, demonstration, and mentoring. It has been proven to be an effective way to educate and train the community, particularly KWT Rimbo Data Sejahtera, on proper waste management. This program is a perfect fit for their needs and is very useful in reducing the impact of pollution.

Abstract

Konversi terhadap lahan-lahan bervegatasi menjadi lahan-lahan terbangun akibat perkembangan kota dan arus urbanisasi dapat memicu terjadinya fenomena urban heat island di beberapa kota di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan ekspansi ruang terbangun yang tidak terkendali di Kota Kendari, ada dugaan bahwa telah terjadi fenomena urban heat island. Mengidentifikasi serta mengukur karakteristik spasial temporal urban heat island sejak dini akan sangat penting bagi pengambil keputusan untuk merumuskan kebijakan demi mencapai tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi fenomena urban heat island Kota Kendari perode tahun 2001 dan tahun 2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah brightness temperature dengan menggunakan logaritma yang diformulasikan pada alat pengolahan Citra Landsat 7 untuk data tahun 2001 dan Citra Landsat 8 OLI untuk data tahun 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ekstraksi land surface temperatur menggunakan citra Satelit Landsat-7 tahun 2001 menunjukkan nilai suhu minimum sebesar 19,099 oC dan suhu maksimum sebesar 34,459 oC.  Hasil perhitungan urban heat island treshold sebesar  25,95 0C. Sehingga dengan menentukkan urban heat island index disimpulkan bahwa pada tahun 2001 wilayah Kota Kendari telah mengalami fenomena Urban Heat Island dengan wilayah paparan sebesar 1,021% dari total luas wilayah. Sedangkan pada tahun 2019, ekstraksi land surface temperatur menggunakan citra Satelit Landsat-8 OLI, menunjukkan nilai suhu minimum sebesar 14,27 0C dan suhu udara maksimum sebesar 35, 426 0C. Hasil perhitungan urban heat island treshold sebesar 24,6 0C. Dengan menentukkan urban heat island index disimpulkan bahwa pada tahun 2019 telah terjadi peningkatan fenomena urban heat island dengan wilayah paparan yang lebih luas yakni 18,92% dari luas wilayah.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the supporting strategies implemented at the Keleyan Bangkalan State Special School in supporting the development of children with special needs and physical impairments. A qualitative approach was used in this research, with observation methods, in-depth interviews, and document study as data collection techniques. The research results show that supporting strategies include curriculum adjustments, development of physical and occupational therapy programs, and the use of special learning aids. Apart from that, the role of teachers and other supporting staff is very significant in providing motivation and emotional support to students. Collaboration with parents is also an important factor in ensuring continuity of support at home. This research concludes that a holistic approach involving academic, physical and emotional aspects is the key to facilitating optimal development of children with special needs and disabilities at the Keleyan Bangkalan State Special School. Recommendations are provided for further development of more comprehensive and sustainable support strategies.

Abstract

Stunting is problem of chronic malnutrition caused be a long-term deficiency in nutritional intake, characterized by a child’s height not matching that of children his age. One of the causes of stunting in Pattiro Sompe Village is the mother’s lack of knowledge about dealing with stunting. The aim of carrying out this service is to increase the knowledge of mother’s and the Pattiro Sompe Village community regarding stunting. The method used is lecture and question and answer. And using pre and post test counseling questionnairesto determine the increase in mother’s knowledge before and after the counseling was carried out. The result of community service activities in stunting education is that there is a significant increase in mother’s knowledge about stunting.

Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) is a natural nutrition for babies with the most appropriate nutritional content for optimal growth. Decreased breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers is one of the causes of the failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding for the first 0-6 months. Some mothers experience difficulties and failures in breastfeeding because breast milk has not come out, little breast milk or sore nipples. Lactation massage is one method of painless breast care that can stimulate the strength of the breast muscles to increase breast milk production. The purpose of this service is to provide education and skills to mothers about the benefits of lactation massage and how to do lactation massage to increase breast milk production. The service method used is a lecture on the benefits of lactation massage and practice on how to do lactation massage. The results of the evaluation of the implementation before the counseling were given, the knowledge category was sufficient (58.8%) and after the counseling was given it became (88.2%), meaning that the activities carried out could increase the knowledge and skills of mothers.

Abstract

Effective change management requires five main steps: assessing the situation, planning the change, putting the plan into practice, analyzing the results, and ensuring that the change is safe and effective in the organization. This research is in-depth about “Organizational Change Management: Effective Strategies in Facing Global Challenges.” Through the literature study method, this research examines more deeply how to implement an effective change management strategy to face an era of boundless global competition characterized by rapid changes in the business environment and advances in communication and information technology. In this effective strategy, it is necessary to involve employees and leaders who change the paradigm of thinking to face the rapid changes in the business environment in global competition for the success of the transformation.

Abstract

Andaliman adalah salah satu tumbuhan yang tumbuh di kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Masyarakat biasa mengolah rempah andaliman menjadi bumbu masakkan, selain itu, rempah andaliman juga dapat dijadikan penambah rasa dan pengawet makanan. Tujuan penelitian (1) Menstandarisasikan resep (2) mengetahui daya terima sumpia dan (3) mengetahui daya simpan sumpia abon ikan kembung dengan penambahan rempah andaliman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah uji pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh 6 orang narasumber dan uji penerimaan yang diuji kepada 30 orang panelis konsumen. Data uji pengamatan dianalisis dengan menentukan nilai rata-rata dari total yang diperoleh dari narasumber, uji penerimaan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis varian (anava) satu jalur. Berdasarkan pengamatan oleh narasumber diketahui bahwa sumpia abon ikan kembung dengan penambahan rempah andaliman yang disukai adalah perlakuan kedua (A02) dari segi warna 23.5, aroma 23.5, rasa 24 dan tekstur 23.5. Hasil analisi penerimaan konsumen menunjukan bahwa sumpia abon ikan kembung dengan penambahan rempah andaliman yang disukai adalah perlakuan kedua (A02) dengan nilai rata-rata warna 4.2, aroma 4.1, rasa 4.4 dan tekstur 4.7. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini (1) resep standar sumpia abon ikan kembung dengan penambahan rempah andaliman terdapat pada kode A02, (2) sumpia yang disukai narasumber dan konsumen adalah perlakuan kedua (A02) baik dari segi warna, aroma, rasa dan tekstur, (3) daya simpan sumpia abon ikan kembung yang terbaik terdapat pada sumpia dengan kode A03 yaitu selama 12 hari. Hasil uji hipotesis pada produk sumpia bahwa H1 diterima karena adanya terjadi pengaruh terhadap warna, aroma, rasa dan tekstur serta daya simpan setelah penambahan rempah andaliman berdasarkan hasil uji penerimaan dan pengamatan.Kata kunci : sumpia, abon, ikan kembung, rempah andaliman

Abstract

Aging or getting old is a natural thing, which cannot be avoided and rejected by every living creature, including things that will happen to every human being. One of the most common diseases found in the elderly is hypertension, because age is one of the risk factors for hypertension because the arteries or blood vessels in the elderly tend to harden and lose their elasticity. This community service aims to provide information about laughter therapy as one of the non-pharmacologic therapies to lower blood pressure. Method: The implementation of this laughter therapy begins with an explanation of laughter therapy and is continued with a demonstration by team members after which all participants participate in carrying out laughter therapy. When laughter therapy was given, there were changes in blood pressure, where 7 respondents (63.7%) of elderly people experienced a decrease in blood pressure, while 4 respondents (36.3%) of elderly people had stable blood pressure. The results of this community service can show that providing laughter therapy is effective in lowering blood pressure even though the implementation is short. The implementation of this therapy is easy to do by the elderly and is effective as a complementary therapy in treating hypertension.

Abstract

Cassava is a staple food source that is abundant in Indonesia. Cassava leaves have been known to our people for a long time as an alternative vegetable to replace most vegetables in general. For those who are used to it, cassava leaves are a unique vegetable, and can stimulate your appetite, but for those who have never tasted it, it may take time to get used to it. The texture of cassava leaves is rough, so they are only suitable for cooking in a few ways. The aim of this research is to find out the most preferred formula for making beef jerky from cassava leaves. This research is experimental research with the research design used, namely Pre-Experimental Design with a One-shot case study type of research. Based on the research that has been carried out, the conclusion in this study is that of the 4 treatments given, it is seen from the color aspect that the most preferred treatment is P12 (100%), the taste aspect of the treatment is P12 986.7), the aroma aspect is P11 (80%) and the P12 texture (83.3%). For further research, it is hoped that variables such as water content and HCN can be added to cassava leaves.
