Abstract

Digital transformation has introduced the TikTok addiction phenomenon into elementary schools, triggering behavioral and cognitive disruptions among students. The urgency of this study is based on findings of internal noise and intrusive behaviors that hinder the knowledge transfer process in the classroom. This study aims to analyze the manifestations of TikTok addiction and its impact on students' learning habits. This qualitative research employed a case study design. Data were collected through passive participant observation, in-depth interviews with 2 teachers and 5 students, and documentation studies. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings indicate that TikTok addiction manifests as: (1) Concentration disorders due to the dominance of viral content such as "Tabola Bale" songs and "velocity" movements in students' minds; (2) Physical fatigue and acute procrastination leading to the loss of study time at home; and (3) Early social imitation through symbols like "black bracelets" indicating age-inappropriate adult behavior. The root cause was identified as personal gadget access starting from preschool age (Kindergarten). TikTok addiction fundamentally undermines students' learning habituation. The implication is that a collaborative strategy between schools and parents is necessary to strengthen digital literacy from an early age to mitigate the negative impacts of technology.

Abstract

Macrozoobenthos are benthic animals commonly found in substrate-based ecosystems, such as mangrove forests. Their presence in mangrove ecosystems significantly influences the decomposition activities within the substrate or sediment layers. The aim of this study was to identify species composition, species density, community structure of macrozoobenthos, and their vertical distribution within sediments on mangrove ecosystem in Ternate City. The study was conducted from August to September 2021 using the line transect method, with macrozoobenthos samples collected through iron pipe corers. Data analysis included species density, species diversity, dominance index, evenness index, niche width, microhabitat niche overlap, and the relationship between macrozoobenthos density and depth. The results showed that the macrozoobenthos species composition consisted of two species (Uca spp. and Nereis spp.), with a total of 25 individuals. Species diversity within mangrove ecosystem was found to be low, with one dominant species and a relatively even distribution. The species with the broadest habitat niche was the worm (Nereis spp.), while significant microhabitat niche overlap occurred between the worm (Nereis spp.) and the crab (Uca spp.). Simple linear regression analysis indicated that substrate depth did not correlate with macrozoobenthos species density. Keywords:aquaticbenthoscoastalfaunaterrestrial

Abstract

Educational Personnel have an important role in supporting the success of education. Educational Personnel have a role in carrying out administration, management, development, supervision, and technical services to support the educational process in educational units. The declining performance of education personnel at the junior high school level in West Jakarta, particularly due to the ineffectiveness of the promotion system, demonstrates the need for an objective, data-driven assessment mechanism. Education personnel play a crucial role in the administration, management, and technical services of education, thus a transparent promotion system is essential. This study aims to develop a promotion recommendation model using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the accuracy, objectivity, and efficiency of the decision-making process. The study involved 112 civil servant education personnel respondents from 53 junior high schools in eight sub-districts in West Jakarta, selected through multistage random sampling. Analysis was conducted using five main criteria: educational background, performance, technical skills, length of service, and work motivation. AI was used to automate normalization, weighting, and pattern analysis. The results showed that TOPSIS was able to produce an objective candidate ranking, with respondent R099 having the highest Closeness Coefficient (≈0.7704), making him the most suitable for promotion. The integration of TOPSIS and AI has been proven to increase analysis speed, reduce human bias, and provide more consistent and accurate recommendations for education staff promotion.

Abstract

The main problem that arises on marginal land when it will be planted with green beans is the problem of soil fertility. This study aims to determine the response of growth and yield of green beans to the provision of water hyacinth bokashi and KCl fertilizer. The experiment with two factors was arranged with a completely randomized design. Bokashi fertilizer was tested in four dose levels, namely 1, 15, 30, and 45 tons ha-1. Each water hyacinth bokashi dose treatment was combined with four levels of KCl fertilizer, namely 0, 50, 100, and 150 kg ha-1. The results showed that there was an interaction between the water hyacinth bokashi dose treatment and the potassium fertilizer dose on the observation variables of plant height at 6 weeks after planting (cm), number of pods (pods), and number of full pods (pods). The best treatment was the 45 ton ha-1 dose treatment and a KCl fertillizer dose of 150 kg ha-1

Abstract

Improving the quality of madrasah education requires the integration of modern management approaches with Islamic ethical values. This study aims to develop the Islamic Management Quality Model (IM-QM) by synthesizing Total Quality Management (TQM), the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle, and core Islamic values, namely amanah, ihsan, itqan, and syura. Using a descriptive qualitative literature-review method, this study examined sources published between 2015 and 2025 from Scopus, SINTA, and Google Scholar, which were analyzed through content synthesis and triangulation. The findings indicate that TQM provides a strategic culture of continuous improvement and stakeholder orientation, PDCA offers an iterative operational mechanism for translating strategy into measurable practice, and Islamic values provide an ethical-philosophical foundation that legitimizes and humanizes quality improvement efforts. The integrated IM-QM model consists of three interdependent pillars: a philosophical pillar that embeds Islamic ethics into institutional purpose and decision-making, a managerial pillar that applies TQM principles for system-wide quality governance, and an operational pillar that uses PDCA cycles for planning, implementation, evaluation, and corrective action. The literature also identifies several implementation challenges, including partial adoption of TQM, limited translation of values into measurable indicators, resource and capacity constraints, and leadership gaps. These challenges underscore the need for participatory, value-driven leadership and measurable value-based quality indicators. This study concludes that IM-QM offers a holistic framework for strengthening academic and non-academic outcomes, stakeholder trust, institutional resilience, and religious identity in madrasah education. The study contributes to Islamic education management by proposing an integrated quality model and recommends further empirical validation through case studies, pilot implementation, and mixed-methods evaluation across diverse madrasah contexts.
