Abstract

Research has been conducted to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on the pictorial riddle type on the understanding of the physics concepts of eighth grade students of Palembang State Junior High School 7. Riddlel pictorial type inquiry is a learning model to develop student motivation and participation from small / large group discussions in the form of images that are used as a source of discussion so that they can find answers to a problem in question. The method used in this study is the method of Quasi Experiment, with the design of the matching only post-test control group design and cluster random sampling retrieval technique divided into two classes, namely class VIII.11 as the experimental class which received learning treatment using the pictorial type inquiry learning model riddle, and class VIII.9 students as control classes who were treated using inquiry learning models. The collection technique uses tests. The analysis technique used in this study is the t-test of the right side. The results of the calculation of data analysis obtained the average value of the experimental class 81 and the mean of the control class 75.16, with a significant level of α = 0.05 obtained ttable ie 1.67 based on the calculation results there is a significant influence of the pictorial riddle type learning model towards understanding the physics concept of eighth grade students of Palembang State Junior High School 7.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether or not there was a significant effect of the demonstration method by using teaching aids on the physics learning outcomes of Newton's second law material in class X at Pangkalan Lampam 1 State High School. The variables of the study are veriabel bound, namely student learning outcomes and the variables of the practice, the demonstration method using props. The population in this study were all students of class X Science at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lampam which amounted to 115 students. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling technique with the number of samples of 80 students divided into two classes namely class X IPA 1 as the experimental class who received learning treatment using demonstration method with the number of 40 students and students of class X IPA 2 as the control class treated a conventional approach with a total of 40 students. Techniques of collecting data using tests and documentation. The analytical technique used in this study is the right-t test. The result of calculation of data analysis obtained the average value of experiments 81,00 and the average value of control class 73,75, with significant level α = 0,05 in ttable that is equal to 1,68 and titung that is 2,71. Based on the results of data calculations, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of demonstration methods by using props to the results of physics study material law II Newton in class X in SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lampam

Abstract

This study aims to know the influence of interactive physics-based multimedia learning media using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software on the results of students' study of class X in SMA PGRI Pangkalan Kersik Tungkal Jaya. Variable of research is dependent variable that is result of student learning and independent variable that is learning media physics based on interactive multimedia using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA in SMA PGRI Pangkalan Kersik Tungkal Jaya which amounted to 104 students. The sample in this study was taken by random sampling technique with the number of samples of 70 students divided into two classes namely class X MIA 2 as an experimental class who received learning treatment using interactive multimedia with the number of 35 students and students of class X MIA 1 as a control class treated conventional approach with 35 students. Techniques of collecting data using tests and documentation. The analytical technique used in this study is the right-t test. The result of calculation of data analysis obtained the average value of experimental class 77,56 and the average value of control class 67,90, with significant level of α = 0,05 got ttable that is 1,697 and tcal is 4.59. Based on the results of data calculations, it can be concluded that there is the influence of interactive physics-based multimedia learning media using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software on the results of students' study of class X in SMA PGRI Pangkalan Kersik Tungkal Jaya..

This study aims to determine the effect of demonstration method by using boiler props (boiler) to understanding the concept of Law I Thermodynamics class XI in SMA Negeri 1 Ujanmas. The type of this research is quantitative description research. The population of this research is all grade XI IPA in SMA Negeri 1Ujanmas, with simple random sampling technique obtained class XI IPA 3 as control class and class XI IPA 4 as experiment class. The research instrument is a test question as much as 5 questions that are prepared based on conceptual understanding indicators. Data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. the result of the analysis was obtained, the mean value of the experimental class posttest was 78.2 and the control class 65.6. T-test of both samples for posttest with significant level α = 0.05 obtained ttable = 2.00 and tcount = 4.98 then thitung> ttable thus Ha accepted and Ho rejected.
