Abstract

This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review on the themes of equality and social justice for people with disabilities in Indonesia, with a specific focus on their intersection with community empowerment within the halal industry. Using empirical evidence and bibliometric analysis, the review applies the keywords "equality and social justice," "people with disabilities," and "sharia economic empowerment" to explore relevant literature. Data were collected through the Publish or Perish tool, identifying over 1,000 academic publications from 2014 to 2024, and visualized using VOSviewer. The findings highlight two key points: first, while various regulations, policies, and flagship programs have sought to promote equality and social justice for people with disabilities, their implementation remains suboptimal in ensuring the full realization of rights. Second, empowerment strategies rooted in sharia economic models emphasize the transformation of negative mindsets and the adoption of Islamic entrepreneurial approaches. Notably, there was a significant decline in research interest from 2014 to 2021, followed by a resurgence through 2023. These insights offer a valuable reference for policymakers and stakeholders to design more effective initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities through inclusive economic empowerment.======================================================================================================== ABSTRAK - Pemberdayaan Kelompok Marjinal melalui Industri Halal di Indonesia: Sebuah Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis.

Abstract

Magelaran Cilik Village, Serang City, Banten, boasts rich traditional culinary potential, with more than 20 types of specialty cakes managed by local MSMEs. However, most entrepreneurs, particularly female cake artisans, still face serious obstacles, such as limited product innovation, uncompetitive packaging design, low digital literacy, minimal business legality and halal certification, and weak implementation of digital marketing strategies. This Community Service Program (PkM) focuses on optimizing Digital Niche Marketing (DNM) to increase the competitiveness of traditional cake MSMEs while encouraging the establishment of women-based culinary tourism villages. Implementation methods include outreach, product and flavor development training, packaging and branding innovation, strengthening business management, implementing DNM strategies through social media and marketplaces, legality and halal certification assistance, and ongoing monitoring. This activity involves cake artisan associations, village cooperatives, KKM students, and e-commerce partners such as Tokopedia and Shopee. The results showed an 80% increase in production and entrepreneurial management skills, over 90% mastery of niche market-based digital marketing strategies, the fulfillment of halal legality and certification, and the creation of superior products with higher sales value. Furthermore, this program fostered the identity of Magelaran Cilik Village as a women-driven culinary tourism village that contributes to the achievement of the SDGs, particularly in the areas of poverty alleviation, gender equality, and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the impact of talent management practices on public service quality, with employee competence and discipline serving as intervening variables within Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in Cilegon City. The research is motivated by the fluctuating trend of the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) in Cilegon over the past five years. A quantitative explanatory method is applied using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The study population consists of 1,477 Civil Servants (ASN) across 23 OPDs, with the sample size determined using the Slovin formula. The findings reveal that talent management significantly influences competence and discipline, which subsequently enhance public service quality. Competence and discipline are confirmed to mediate the relationship between talent management and service quality. This research contributes to advancing bureaucratic reform and strengthening professionalism in public sector human resources.

Abstract

This research addresses the digital divide between urban and rural areas in Indonesia by examining the digital transformation of superior village products through branding and strengthening Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Kadumaneuh Village, Pandeglang. Despite existing legal frameworks, village-level digital implementation remains suboptimal, with only 30% of villages having adequate internet access and 40% of BUMDes using digital technology. The study aims to develop an integrated digital transformation model tailored to Indonesian villages' needs, focusing on product branding and BUMDes strengthening. Using a normative-empirical approach, the research combines literary and field studies with statutory and sociological approaches. Data collection involved literature review, interviews, and questionnaires. Results reveal a significant gap in understanding and implementing digital transformation and branding among micro-enterprises. The study proposes a holistic model integrating digital infrastructure development, product digitalization, branding, legal protection, literacy enhancement, economic empowerment, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The research concludes that optimizing BUMDes' role in digital transformation requires comprehensive strategies, including capacity building, policy development, and strategic partnerships. The proposed model offers a framework to address technological, legal, and economic challenges faced by village enterprises in the digital era.

The research results show that all hypotheses are accepted. Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on adversity resilience, job satisfaction and employee performance. Adversity resilience and job satisfaction also have a positive influence on employee performance. Apart from that, transformational leadership influences employee performance both directly and through the mediation of adversity resilience and job satisfaction.
