Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of education level, infrastructure, and population on inter-region development inequality. The research method used in this study is a quantitative approach. The data used in this study are panel data from the five largest regions in Indonesia; Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua from 2013 to 2022 which are collected through documentation techniques. The test results show that the variables of education level, road stability infrastructure, and infrastructure of households that have access to PLN electricity have a negative and significant effect on inter-region development inequality. Meanwhile, the total population variable has a significant positive effect on inter-region development inequality. Simultaneously, all research variables have a significant effect on inter-region development inequality. The coefficient of determination test in this study shows a 99% influence on development inequality and the remaining 1% is explained by other variables outside the study

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of government quality on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in ASEAN Plus Three. Recent empirical studies have shown that FDI is expected to be strongly associated with good governance conditions in the host country. The research method used in this study is a quantitative approach. To accomplish this study, we used a panel data set of 13 countries in ASEAN Plus Three regions from 1996 to 2022. This analysis was conducted using a random effects model (REM). Our findings can be summarized: Government Effectiveness and the Rule of Law positively impact FDI in the ASEAN Plus Three Countries. Moreover, Political Stability, Voice, and Accountability have a negative impact on FDI. However, Regulatory Quality and Control of Corruption could be more significant in attracting FDI inflows

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the influence of pressure, opportunity, rationalization, and capability on academic fraud of economic education students at State University Jakarta. The method used is quantitative with a causal approach. The sampling technique in this study was nonprobability sampling with accidental sampling type and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. Respondents in this study were Economics Education students at the State University of Jakarta, semester IV and semester VI, totaling 129 students. The results showed that pressure, rationalization, and capability positively and significantly affected academic fraud, while the opportunity factor had no positive or significant effect

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the number of industrial companies, investment and economic crisis on the realization of labor absorption in the large and medium-sized textile industry sector in East Java Province. This study uses a multiple linear regression method with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model. This study uses secondary data which includes employment, the number of industrial companies and investment, while the economic crisis is included in the category of dummy variables. The results of this study indicate that the number of industrial and investment companies has a positive and significant effect on employment. Meanwhile, the economic crisis has a negative and insignificant effect on the realization of employment in the mediumlarge textile industry sector in East Java Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, truthfulness, authenticity and reliability of the extent to which the minimum wage, education level, and gross regional domestic product labor absorption in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method using panel data analysis techniques that combine times series data with cross section data. The type of data used in this study is secondary data, obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and other government agencies. The results obtained in this study are that the minimum wage has a positive and insignificant effect on employment in Indonesia, while the level of education and regional domestic products has a positive and significant effect on employment in Indonesia. Simultaneously, the minimum wage, education level and gross regional domestic product have an effect on employment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of population dependence, technology, and education on human development. Human development in this Research is measured by adjusted per capita expenditure. The research method used in this study is in the form of panel data from 2019 – 2021 in 34 provinces in Indonesia with a descriptive quantitative model. Based on the partial analysis, the population dependency, technology variable has a positive and significant effect on human development by the probability value of smaller than alpha (0.05). While the education variable has a negative and significat effect on human development in Indonesia during the covid-19 period. Simultaneously, all variables have a significant effect on human development, that is shown through R2 of 99.83% and 0.17% and is explained by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

Advances in technology in the financial sector, namely fintech payments in the current digital era, can be a challenge to adapt in everyday life. And it is undeniable that the generation that grew up with technology has very different expectations and experiences in using digital media than previous generations. This study aims to determine the effect of digital economic literacy and financial inclusion on the ability to use fintech payments through financial inclusion for the MSMEs of the baby boomers generation based on valid data. Data collection was carried out in this study using quantitative techniques with data analysis techniques Path Analysis throughquestionnaires. The number of samples studied were 160 SMEs of the baby boomers generation in South Tangerang City in 2022. The research variable data was in the form of primary data consisting of the ability to use fintech payments (Y), digital economic literacy (X1) and financial inclusion (X2). The results of the study show that digital economic literacy has a positive effect on the ability to use fintech payments; financial inclusion has a positive effect on the ability to use fintech payments; digital economic literacy has an indirect effect on the ability to use fintech payments through financial inclusion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the Composite Stock Price Index during the covid 19 pandemic. Several factors were tested such as the influence of the BI Rate, Inflation, Exchange Rate. The Composite Stock Price Index is one of the stock market indexes used by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This index includes the price movements of all common shares and preferred shares listed on the IDX. the method used in this study is to use the multiple linear regression method). The data Iin the research is sourced from the world stock website, Bank Indonesia, the official website of the global stock exchange, and the official OJK website which is processed through the Eviews application. The results of this study indicate that The results of this study indicate that 32,43% of the JCI is influenced by the variables in this study. The BI rate has a negative effect of -5.819273 but has no significant effect on the JCI. inflation has a positive effect of 25633.30 and does not have a partial significant effect on the JCI. And the exchange rate has a significant effect partially on the JCI variable with a positive effect of 0.513

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic literacy, lifestyle, and self-control on the consumptive behavior of students at the Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The reachable population in this study were all undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University for the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 97 students. Sampling technique with simple random sampling, with data collection using questionnaires and tests. The analysis technique used in this research is path analysis. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Economic Literacy has a negative and significant effect of -62.7% on Consumptive Behavior, 2) Lifestyle has a positive and significant effect of 76.6% on Consumptive Behavior, 3) Self-control has a negative effect of - 43.5% on Consumptive Behavior, 4) Economic Literacy, Lifestyle and Selfcontrol together have a positive and significant effect of 79.3% and the rest are influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an important part of the economy of a country or a region, Indonesia is no exception. Business in the beverage sector does not always complement the food business. The place or location of this research is the contemporary beverage MSMEs in the South Jakarta area. The research was carried out for two months starting from February 2022 to March 2022 which was carried out in stages. In compiling the report, it was concluded that the financing of KUR funds from BRI for the contemporary beverage MSMEs in the South Jakarta area was indeed very effective. The current drink sellers admitted that after getting KUR funds from BRI, their business grew, starting from the turnover they got to the required infrastructure. This is because the financing of KUR funds from BRI does not only provide assistance in the form of funds but also monitors the development of each of these MSME businesses, so that MSME entrepreneurs feel very helped. The role of KUR financing in the development of contemporary beverage MSMEs in the South Jakarta area with this financing can increase business productivity, especially for MSME businesses in Tebet, South Jakarta. This shows that KUR funds provided by BRI can have a positive effect on the development of MSMEs, this can be seen from the initial profits and profits after receiving KUR funds always increase so that MSME entrepreneurs feel very helped.
