Abstract

This research aims to analyze the internal factors of banks that influence the distribution of MSME financing at Sharia Commercial Banks. The internal factors in question are seen in terms of Bank Assets, Profitability, and Liquidity. This point of view is measured by the independent variables, namely Third-Party Funds, Return on Assets, and Financing to Deposit Ratio. This research uses time series data sourced from the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan for the period January 2021 - December 2023. Multiple regression models are used for research that employs more than one independent variable. The parameters of multiple linear regression models were estimated using the ordinary least square (OLS) method. This research analyzed publication data from the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan, covering 13 Sharia Commercial Banks, and data from various relevant journals using Eviews 10. The results of the research and hypothesis testing conducted showed that: First, partially, the Third-Party Funds and Financing to Deposit Ratio variables have a significant positive effect on MSME Financing, while the Return on Assets variable has a nonsignificant negative effect on MSME Financing for Sharia Commercial Banks. Second, simultaneously, Third Party Funds, Return on Assets, and Financing to Deposit Ratio have a significant positive effect on MSME Financing at Sharia Commercial Banks. With these results, it is hoped that this research can contribute to policy or decision making for Sharia Commercial Banks to increase financing to the MSME sector, both working capital financing and investment financing for the MSME sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine religiosity, spirituality, and paternalistic leadership's direct influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) or through job satisfaction variables in the Creative Industry sector in Indonesia. This research can be categorized as explanatory research. This research was conducted in Indonesia's creative industry, divided into 16 business fields with a total sample of 406 employees. This study found that religiosity, spirituality, and paternalistic leadership positively and significantly affect OCB. However, suppose through the moderating variable of job satisfaction, the correlation coefficient is smaller than the direct correlation coefficient. In that case, it can be concluded that job satisfaction is not an appropriate moderating variable for the variable religiosity, spirituality, and paternalistic leadership towards OCB. From this study, we can conclude that religiosity, spirituality, paternalistic leadership, and job satisfaction in employees and organizational leaders need to be improved because they are proven to affect OCB directly. Thus, it will also affect individual and organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of digital financial literacy and e-commerce on doom spending behavior among Generation Z at Jakarta State University. The population in this study were students as a representation of Generation Z in the campus environment. The sample of this study were active students at Jakarta State University with the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The method used in this study was a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis. The results of the study found that the digital financial literacy variable was proven to have a positive and significant influence on doom spending behavior. This shows that respondents' understanding of digital financial instruments and the ease of online transactions does not necessarily make them wiser in refraining from impulsive shopping in stressful situations. On the contrary, mastery of financial technology actually becomes a means that makes it easier for respondents to make quick spending to relieve anxiety, so that the higher the digital financial literacy possessed, the tendency to doom spending also tends to increase. The e-commerce variable has a positive and significant influence as the main driving factor in doom spending behavior. The presence of online shopping platforms with various features of easy access, attractive promotions, and transaction speed has a very large impact in triggering unplanned spending. The practical nature of e-commerce has become a primary outlet for respondents to escape negative feelings or the stress of bad news through shopping, making it the most dominant factor in explaining why doom spending behavior occurs among the subjects of this study.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact that having a business plan and engaging in digital marketing have had on the resiliency of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in East Jakarta following the pandemic. The population that is the focus of this study is comprised of East Jakarta's 240,512 small and medium-sized businesses. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from these 140 participants to create the sample for this investigation. Processing of data utilizing the SEM (Structural Equation Model) approach with the Smart PLS (Partial Least Squares) tool version 4, which includes the Estimation Test, Evaluation Test, and Mediation Test of the SEM-PLS Model. In light of the results of the hypothesis test, one can reach the following conclusion: the Business Plan variable representing MSME resilience has an influence that is both positive and significant. The influence of digital marketing on the resilience of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises is positive but insignificant. Meanwhile, the impact of the business strategy on the resiliency of MSMEs is positive but not statistically significant when the intervening variable is digital marketing.

Abstract

This study investigates the strategic pathways through which product quality and service quality drive business performance in Jakarta's fried chicken micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with competitive advantage as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with structural equation modeling based on partial least squares (SEM-PLS) analysis of 101 MSME owners, the research empirically validates the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory in the emerging market context. Findings reveal that both product quality (path coefficient = 0.456 to competitive advantage) and service quality (path coefficient = 0.536 to competitive advantage) significantly enhance competitive advantage, which subsequently amplifies business performance. Service quality demonstrates the strongest direct effect on business performance (path coefficient = 0.425), while competitive advantage partially mediates the relationships between quality dimensions and performance. The exceptional explanatory power of the structural model (R² = 0.992 for business performance) confirms that quality-based competition strategies yield superior performance outcomes compared to price-based approaches in the post-pandemic culinary market. These findings demonstrate that resource-constrained MSMEs can achieve sustainable competitive advantages through strategically leveraging difficult-to-imitate quality capabilities and emotional service connections, extending RBV theory's applicability to emerging market MSME contexts and providing actionable implications for MSME strategic management and policymakers.
