Abstract

Beras hitam salah satu bahan pangan mengandung senyawa antosianin yang termasuk dalam jenis flavonoid dan senyawa fenolik. Flavonoid yang terkandung dalam beras hitam merupakan komponen fenolik yang bertindak sebagai pencegah radikal hidroksil dan superoksida dengan melindungi lipida membran terhadap reaksi oksidasi yang merusak dan senyawa fenol pula memiliki sifat bakteriosid, antimetik, antihelmintik, antiasmatik, analgetik, antiinflamasi, meningkatkan mortilitas usus, antimikroba, antikanker dan penyakit degeneratif lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar fenol total dan kadar flavonoid total dalam ekstrak etanol beras hitam. Penetapan kadar fenol total menggunakan metode metoda Folin-Ciocalteu dengan senyawa pembanding asam galat. Sedangkan pada penentuan kadar flavonoid total digunakan metode kolorimetri dengan pereaksi berupa AlCl3 10% dan asam asetat 5%.Jumlah sampel ada tujuh variasi beras hitam yang didapatkan  dari tujuh tempat berbeda di Kalimantan Selatan. Analisis kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa seluruh sampel positif mengandung flavonoid, alkaloid dan tanin. Hasil kadar total fenol dari tujuh sampel berturut-turut adalah 100,58±1,344; 91,14±1,699; 96,50±1,529; 77,64±0,462; 81,16±0,614; 112,47±1,040; 81,50±2,928  mgGAE/mg ekstrak dan hasil persen kadar rata-rata flavonoid total dari tujuh sampel berturut-turut adalah 8,53±0,208 %; 8,11±0,343%; 7,69±0,446%; 6,03±0,227%; 4,97±0,169%; 3,74±0,210%; 5,02±0,403%.

Abstract

Prescription service is one of the pharmaceutical at public health center. One of the minimum standards of pharmacy service at public health center is the waiting time. The prescription waiting time is the patient's waiting time for prescribing medicines that start from prescription received at TTK until the patient is finished receiving the medicines. A great service in waiting time can affect patient satisfaction, so the public health center should be able to control the service time to achieve patient satisfaction.The purpose of this research is to know the illustration of prescription waiting time and the levels of patient satisfaction, also correlation between prescription waiting time with patient satisfaction at public health center Kelayan Dalam.The type of research is descriptive analytic. The Sample is done by non probability sampling using purposive sampling method and statistical data analysis technique is done by using SPSS 17.0 that is Chis Square test. The research was conducted from May to June in 2018, with a total of 178 respondents. Data collection was done with observation sheet for prescription waiting time and questionnaire about patient satisfaction which has been done with valid and reliable test.The results showed that of 178 respondents in the illustration of the waiting time for non-concoction prescription is about 4,25 minutes and for the concoction prescription is about 7,71 minutes, the results are in compliance with the standards set by the head of the public health center, the results of research in satisfaction level with the percentage of 74, 85% are in the satisfied category. And statistic result show sig value 0,001 <0,05 that there is a significant correlation between prescription waiting time and patient satisfaction level so that if the prescription waiting time can be faster then the feeling of satisfaction in patient can be higher too.

Abstract

Alpinia purpurata (Vieill.) K.Schum contains flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and terpenoids which have bacterial inhibitory power. This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity test of ethanol extract 96% Alpinia purpurata (Vieill.) K.Schum on the growth inhibition power of Staphylococcus aureus. This research is an experimental research. Antibacterial activity test of extract ethanol 96% Alpinia purpurata (Vieill.) K.Schum using Cup Plate Technique with concentrations of 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% and 5%, Clindamycin concentration 50μg/ml as control (+) and 96% ethanol as control (-) in each treatment replication 4 times. The results diameter of the inhibitory zone formed was then analyzed by Statistical Producy Service Solution (SPSS) version 17. The results showed that extract ethanol 96% of Alpinia purpurata (Vieill.) K.Schum had inhibitory activity on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. The average diameter of the extract ethanol 96% inhibition zone of Alpinia purpurata (Vieill.) K.Schum with a concentration of 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% and 5%, positive control (clindamycin), and negative control (96% ethanol) respectively on Staphylococcus aureus bacteria is 28.06 mm; 25.17 mm; 23.15 mm; 20.38 mm; 18.34 mm; 30.13 mm; 0 mm. There are significant differences in diameter of inhibitory zones between concentrations of extract ethanol 96% of Alpinia purpurata (Vieill.) K.Schum on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with significance values 0,000.

Abstract

Papaya (Carica papaya L) is a plant that can live in various places in Indonesia and requires a relatively short time to grow. Papaya leaves contain karpain alkaloid, karikaksantin, violaksantin, papain, saponins, flavonoids, tannins, karposid and saponins. The compounds that have antibacterial properties are karpain alkaloids. Ointment is one of the pharmaceutical preparations that is suitable for wound healing drugs with papaya leaf extract. This ointment is able to treat infections caused by staphylococcus aureus with great effectiveness and small side effects when compared with the use of chemicals. This study aims to determine the most effective formulations of hydrocarbon base ointment with physical properties test. Papaya leaf extract was obtained by maceration method for five days with 96% ethanol. Macerate is then evaporated with water bath until it becomes a thick extract of papaya leaves. Papaya leaf extract is then formulated at formula 2 and then carried out an antibacterial test with extract concentrations of 5; 10; 20; 30 and 40%. This research is experimental research. The results showed that formula 2 was the most effective based on the physical properties test of the ointment. Antibacterial test results showed that the highest inhibition zone diameter was obtained in the ointment of papaya leaf extract concentration of 40% in the amount of 11.63 ± 0.671441 mm and the smallest in the concentration of 5% in the amount of 5.63 ± 0.550757.

Abstract

Terap leaf (Artocarpus odoratissimus Blanco) is a plant that contains flavonoids which are phenolic groups. These compounds are effectively used as natural antioxidants. Antioxidants function to reduce the speed of lipid peroxidation by giving electrons to free radicals, can make normal molecules. Phenol compounds also have bacteriosid, antihelmintic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anticancer and degenerative diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the total phenolic levels contained in the terap leaf plants. The terap leaves were obtained from Amuntai City, Hulu Sungai Tengah which were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Phenolic compounds in terap leaves were extracted using maceration method using 96% ethanol solvent. Qualitative testing of terap leaf was determined using FeCl3 reagent, determination of terap leaf compounds was expressed with gallic acid equivalence value. The method used is Visible Spectrophotometry with Folin ciocalteau reagents. The concentrations used in linear regression curves are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30µg / mL. Qualitative test results obtained the terap leaf extract positive containing phenolic compounds with marked changes in yellow to green. Based on quantitative test results obtained operating time at minute 1 and the maximum wavelength obtained is 762 nm. Linear regression obtained by y = 0.0213x + 0.117. The value of total phenolic content obtained in the terap leaf extract was 10.56% w / w.

Abstract

Daun bawang Dayak (Eleutherine palmifolia L. merr ) adalah salah satu tanaman yang digunakan sebagai ramuan obat. Ekstrak daun bawang dayak mengandung senyawa flavonoid yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang sangat kuat. Untuk mempermudah penggunaannya maka dibuatlah sediaan krim. Sediaan krim mempunyai beberapa keuntungan diantaranya lebih mudah diaplikasikan, lebih nyaman digunakan pada kulit, tidak lengket dan mudah dicuci dengan air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan sifat fisik antara tipe krim a/m dan m/a pada sediaan krim ekstrak daun bawang dayak dan untuk mengetahui formulasi yang paling disukai oleh responden pada sediaan krim. Daun bawang dayak diekstraksi dengan metode maserasi dan etanol 70% sebagai pelarutnya. Ekstrak daun bawang dayak kemudian diformulasikan dalam sediaan krim tipe a/m dan m/a. Hasil uji sifat fisik menunjukkan sediaan krim ekstrak daun bawang dayak tipe a/m dan m/a yang meliputi organoleptis, homogenitas dan uji pH, daya sebar, dan daya tercuci air memenuhi persyaratan krim yang baik. Berdasarkan dari hasil uji kesukaan formulasi sediaan krim ekstrak daun bawang dayak yang paling disukai responden adalah krim tipe m/a dimana ada 7 dari 8 parameter yang paling disukai oleh responden.

Abstract

Ultraviolet rays cause wrinkles and premature ageing. The bad effects of sun exposure can be avoided by using sunscreen. Artocarpus integer is empirically used as a black spot remover and cold powder. Total flavonoid content is an extract quality parameter that is related to the consistency of the pharmacological effects produced. The purpose of this study was to determine the total flavonoid content and the value of Sun Protection Factor (SPF) from the dried extract Artocarpus integer. The study began with a drying of fresh leaves using an oven, making simplicia powder, extraction process by maceration, and drying extracts using a drying cabinet. The dry extract was measured for total flavonoid content using a spectrophotometer UV-Vis with quercetin as a marker. The dry extract also determined the SPF value at concentrations of 200, 400, 600, 800, and 1000 ppm. The results showed that the total flavonoid content of the dry extract of cempedak leaves was 1,283 ± 0.032 %w/w equivalent to quercetin. The SPF value of dry extract of cempedak leaves at concentrations of 200, 400, 600, 800, and 1000 ppm respectively, namely 2,923 ± 0.009, 5.990 ± 0.002, 8.846 ± 0.001, 13,181 ± 0.008 and 15.856 ± 0.1533

Abstract

Storage drug system is safe, quality, useful and affordable health supplies for the community to ensure the implementation of health development in order to improve the health status as high as possible. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the storage of drugs at the UPT of the Pharmacy Installation of Banjarmasin City was in accordance with the standards of Pharmaceutical Management Training Materials at the Regency Pharmacy Installations, the Directorate of Public Drug Development and Health Supplies, the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Development, Ministry of Health RI in collaboration with (JICA) The year 2010. This type of research is non-experimental with prospective data collection. The time of this research was carried out in April-May 2019. The population in this study were all drug storage rooms at the UPT Pharmacy Installation of Banjarmasin City, recording and reporting in the April-May 2019 period. The sampling technique used was the saturated sampling technique. Collecting data using direct observation sheet method. The results show that the preparation of storage facilities is 90% appropriate, the spatial arrangement is 90% appropriate, the preparation of drug stock is 75% appropriate and the observation of drug quality is 66% according to standard.

Abstract

Daun jeruk purut (Citrus hystrix) diketahui mengandung senyawa flavonoid sehingga diduga mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan yang memiliki kemaampuan untuk menangkal radikal bebas sehingga berperan untuk mencegah terjadinya beberapa penyakit degeneratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan (IC50) ekstrak daun jeruk purut dengan metode DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl). Ekstrak daun jeruk purut yang didapatkan dengan cara maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 70%. Kemudian dilakukan uji fitokimia dan uji aktivitas antioksidan. Pengujian kualitatif ekstrak etanol daun jeruk purut didapatkan hasil positif mengandung fenol dengan ditandai warna hijau pekat kebiruan. Kemudian dilakukan uji aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol akan di evaluasi mengunakan metode DPPH dengan seri konsentrasi 150 ppm, 125 ppm,100 ppm dan 75 ppm dan 50 ppm. Pengukuran absorbansi untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol daun jeruk purut menggunakan alat Spektrofotometer UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang maksimum 521 nm dan menghitung nilai IC50 untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan. Didapatkan masing-masing persen aktivitas hambatan yaitu 150 ppm (42,33%), 125 ppm (21,29%), 100 ppm (5,45%) 75 ppm (2,33%) dan 50 ppm (1,03 %). Hasil menunjuukan bahwa nilai IC50 ekstrak daun jeruk purut yang didapat sebesar 187,36 ppm dan termasuk antioksidan sedang.

Abstract

Pengetahuan terkait obat merupakan salah satu yang wajib dimiliki oleh seorang apoteker dalam memberikan pelayanan kefarmasian secara optimal. Pengetahuan terkait antipsikotika menjadi penting karena dalam penggunaannya banyak ditemukan permasalahan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menilai pengetahuan apoteker di Kalimantan Selatan terkait antipsikotika. Penelitian menggunakan metode observasional deskriptif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan berupa teknik convenience sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah Apoteker di Kalimantan Selatan yang bersedia menjadi responden penelitian melalui persetujuan yang dilakukan pada lembar informed consent yang dikirim dalam bentuk google form dan mengembalikan lembar kuesioner yang telah diisi dengan lengkap. Jumlah responden sejumlah 110 orang. Pengambilan dan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk google form yang dibagikan melalui what’s app grup Apoteker Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 34% (n=37) apoteker berada pada tingkat pengetahuan baik dan 66% (n=73) pada tingkat pengetahuan kurang baik.
