Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is a continuation of previous research on the Utilization of Local Wisdom as a Learning Resource by Sociology Teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Tondano (Case Study on Sociology Learning Class X) in 2022, where in this study found some local wisdom of the Minahasa community that can be used in Sociology teaching materials in SMA class X are tailored to the basic competencies and core competencies as well as the objectives of learning sociology itself. The long-term goal of this research is to preserve and protect local cultures from being eroded by the currents of social change, with a specific target of innovation to produce a textbook based on local wisdom of the Minahasa Community through maesa-esaan. This study uses a development (R&D) method, namely developing a class X Sociology textbook based on local wisdom, which must have several components, namely the material feasibility component, the presentation feasibility component, the linguistic feasibility component, with the aim of producing a good textbook and provide a sociology teacher's perspective in providing a lesson. The development of textbooks uses a 4D model from Thiagarajan (1947) whose development model consists of four stages of development, namely define, design, develop, and dessiminate or be adapted into a 4-P model, namely Definition, Design, Development and Deployment. In this study, the development of textbooks was simplified only to the design stage, so that the material that had been developed was only used for Class X high school students at SMA N 01 Tondano, without being distributed to other schools. To achieve this goal, this research will be carried out in one year starting from a preliminary study and proceeding to the preparation of draft teaching materials. The product produced in this research is a draft of class X Sociology teaching materials based on local wisdom maesa-esaan. This research is expected to later be able to contribute to the quality of learning for Class X high school students in their daily lives which is also a place for enculturation and preservation of the culture of the Minahasa community itself. Based on the results of the analysis of the material, presentation and language, the objectives and teaching materials were formulated in the Class X Sociology subject. The teaching materials were designed and developed through local wisdom groups.

Abstract

This paper describes the socio-cultural changes that occur in the Lembang Sarambu community, Buntu Pepasan District, North Toraja, in the ma'pasilaga tedong tradition, along with the factors that influence the occurrence of these social changes. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results in this study are the values contained in the ma'pasilaga tedong tradition, namely 1) cultural values, ma'pasilaga tedong is a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation to perfect the implementation of the rambu solo ceremony; 2) the value of customs, the Toraja people believe that the buffalo is a sacred animal; 3) moral values, in the ma'pasilaga tedong tradition, the buffalo that will be competed are buffalo that have certain criteria, such as the buffalo that will be competed must be the buffalo that will be sacrificed for the corpse; 4) social values, namely the tradition of ma'pasilaga tedong cannot be carried out if there is no solo sign ceremony'. The values that have changed in the ma'pasilaga tedong tradition are: 1) moral values, where the ma'pasilaga tedong tradition which originally aimed to comfort the bereaved family and as a form of empathy for the bereaved family has now become a gambling arena for ma'pasilaga tedong ; 2) and the initial social value of ma'pasilaga tedong was only done in one day, namely when there was a rambu solo' ceremony, but now it has been carried out for days even though the rambu solo' ceremony is not held. With the factor of cultural changes that occur caused by internal factors; population and discoveries and external factors; war and other cultural influences.

Abstract

This research aims to develop sociology teaching materials in Senior High Schools about the basic competence of recognising and identifying the realities of individuals, groups, and social relations in society. This research was conducted in Minahasa Regency using a development (RD) method, namely developing a Sociology textbook Class X Semester 1 based on Minahasa local wisdom Maleo-leosan. Data were collected with a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth and structured interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results are the Minahasa community's local values in the form of local Maleo-leosan ideas. This can be elaborated in several sub-materials of sociology in Class X Semester 1, especially on the essential competencies of recognising and identifying the reality of individuals, groups, and social relations in society. Finally, of course, by developing to become a reference that teachers in schools can use as a reference book.

Abstract

The reclamation of the beach in Manado city developed as a functional area resulted in a change in the face of the city in coastal areas. As a large company and taking up public space, it must give social responsibility to the community who are deprived of their area of social activity. The purpose of this paper is to review whether CSR programs have been implemented by the developer to communities affected by coastal reclamation and whether socio-economic changes have occurred in the community after coastal reclamation. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interview, and documentation studies. The research found that CSR programs have not been implemented by developers, and there are significant socioeconomic changes among the fishing families after the reclamation taking place in the village of South Wenang. There is  a change in the source of livelihood from fishermen to the informal sector (among others food stalls, selling pulses, stalls, retail gasoline sales, parking lots, construction workers). But from the change of livelihood source to the informal sector, the life of the fishing family has not improved significantly.

Abstract

Rural Banks are banks that carry out business activities conventionally or based on sharia principles, which in their activities do not provide services in payment traffic. To convey information requires speed and accuracy to arrive at the user or recipient of information, speed and accuracy make information more valuable and reliable. The level of speed of information depends on the technology used. Lack of information and people still coming directly to the place resulted in the process of applying for a money loan which should only take a short time, but with an error in the form or file it makes the service take longer because of the file requirements from people who want to apply for a loan. the money is incomplete, so that people who want to apply for loans have to return home to complete the files that are still left behind or fill out the registration form where there is an input error in the form data. Based on the results of the Savings and Loans Information System for the South Tapin Rural Bank Mandiri Sejahtera, it can later be used at the office of the South Tapin Rural Bank Mandiri Sejahtera in order to provide the information contained therein so that the general public can view the information without having to go to the office directly. Keywords: Information Systems, Rural Banks, Submission of Loans AbstrakBank Perkreditan Rakyat adalah Bank yang melaksanakan kegiatan usaha secara konvensional atau berdasarkan prinsip syariah, yang dalam kegiatannya tidak memberikan jasa dalam lalu lintas pembayaran. Untuk menyampaikan sebuah informasi diperlukan kecepatan dan keakuratan untuk sampai kepada pengguna atau penerima informasi, kecepatan dan keakuratan menjadikan sebuah informasi menjadi lebih bernilai dan terpercaya tingkat kecepatan sebuah informasi bergantung kepada teknologi yang digunakan. Kurangnya informasi menyebabkan masyarakat datang langsung ke tempat mengakibatkan dalam proses pengajuan pinjaman uang yang seharusnya hanya memerlukan waktu yang sebentar, namun dengan adanya kesalahan formulir ataupun berkas tersebut membuat pelayanan menjadi lebih lama di karenakan berkas persyaratan dari masyarakat yang ingin mengajukan pinjaman uang kurang lengkap, sehingga membuat masyarakat yang ingin mengajukan pinjaman harus kembali pulang untuk melengkapi berkas yang masih tertinggal atau mengisi ulang formulir pendafataran yang terjadi kesalahan penginputan pada data formulir. Berdasarkan hasil Sistem Informasi Simpan Pinjam Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Tapin Selatan Mandiri Sejahtera nantinya dapat dipergunakan di kantor Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Tapin Selatan Mandiri Sejahtera agar dapat memberikan informasi yang terdapat di sehingga masyarakat umum dapat melihat informasi tersebut tanpa harus mendatangi kantor secara langsung.

Abstract

This study discusses the form of political participation of women in Tomohon City. The presence of women in the Indonesian political stage is an important discourse on the progress of democracy in Indonesia.  However, there are still many obstacles among women to appear in political contestation, especially in political contestation. This research shows that the trend of political participation among women in Tomohon City continues to increase. This can be seen from the presence of female mayoral candidates who ran in the contestation of the 2019 Tomohon City Elections, namely Jilly Gabriel Eman paired with Virgie Baker. In the executive area, there are at least 40% of women who position as members of the Tomohon City Parliament. Meanwhile, in the aspect of election organizers, there are women representatives in the KPU and BAWASLU of Tomohon City. This condition does not necessarily mean that the involvement of women in the world of politics goes smoothly, but there are still obstacles that must be faced by women in participating in the world of politics in Tomohon City This research also aims to always revive gender discussions in social life. Gender mainstreaming is one of the agendas that must continue to be implemented in various sectors and lines of social life, especially in the academic environment.

Abstract

The procedure for reporting damage to PT. PLN (Persero), namely customers are required to come to the PLN complaint service office or contact Call Center 123. However, many customers complain about the distance of the service office from their address and the call center number that is busy when called. Sometimes customers come to or call back the PLN complaint service to inquire about the implementation of repair work. In this study developed an application for complaints of damage to customers of PT. PLN (Persero) web-based. The fault disturbance complaint system is also equipped with information features related to the status of fault reporting from customers and the status of the repair process carried out by technicians as a medium of information to customers. Blackbox testing shows that the complaints application that is built functions properly. With this application, customers can easily make complaints about damage and find out the status of the report without the need to go to the PLN service office or call center 123.Keywords: PLN Service; Troubleshooting; Customer Damage Complaint Application AbstrakProsedur pelaporan gangguan kerusakan pada PT. PLN (Persero) yaitu pelanggan diwajibkan datang ke kantor layanan pengaduan PLN atau menghubungi Call Center 123. Namun banyak pelanggan yang mengeluhkan jarak kantor pelayanan dari alamat mereka dan nomor call center yang sibuk saat ditelepon. Terkadang pelanggan mendatangi atau menghubungi kembali pelayanan pengaduan PLN untuk menanyakan pelaksanaan pengerjaan perbaikan. Pada penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi pengaduan gangguan kerusakan pelanggan PT. PLN (Persero) berbasis web. Sistem pengaduan gangguan kerusakan juga dilengkapi dengan fitur informasi terkait status pelaporan gangguan dari pelanggan dan status proses perbaikan yang dilakukan teknisi sebagai media informasi kepada pelanggan. Pengujian blackbox menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pengaduan yang dibangun berfungsi dengan baik. Dengan aplikasi ini pelanggan dapat dengan mudah melakukan pengaduan gangguan kerusakan dan mengetahui status pelaporannya tanpa perlu untuk mendatangi kantor pelayanan PLN atau call center 123.

Abstract

Global skills are important in preparing students to face the demands of today's global society, which is a major concern in the educational context. This study investigates the implementation of social studies learning in Minahasa Regency, particularly in the theme of international cooperation for the development of students' global skills. Using mixed methods design with analysis techniques by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014) and quantitative data analysis including validation and reliability tests and analysis of student response questionnaires. The findings show that currently, the condition of the global skills of grade IX junior high school students in Minahasa through social studies learning on the theme of international cooperation is in the low 50.5%, medium 34.3% and high 15.2% categories. The actual performance gap in the implementation of social studies learning is still not optimal, and it tends to focus on the subject matter and ignore aspects of global skills development. Teachers are more inclined to the traditional knowledge-oriented approach rather than efforts to improve students' global skills. The implications of these findings include the need for a more holistic social studies curriculum reform, intensive teacher training in learning approaches that support the development of global skills, as well as the provision of additional resources such as case-based teaching materials for global studies.

Abstract

Pendidikan berkualitas yang ditanamkan kepada anak semenjak usia dini merupakan salah satu kunci untuk membentuk manusia yang berkualitas baik mental maupun intelektual yang salah satunya dapat diraih melalui pengembangan kreativitas dengan menggunakan permaian Playdoh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bagaimana permainan Playdoh dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak di TK GMIM Bethesda Sawangan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pelaksanaan dua siklus yang dilaksanakan di TK GMIM Bethesda Sawangan, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara yang beralamat di Desa Sawangan. Subjek pada penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah anak-anak di TK GMIM Bethesda Sawangan, Kelompok B Semester II tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang terdiri dari 24 anak (9 anak laki-laki dan 15 anak perempuan dengan usia 4-6 tahun). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bermain playdoh di TK GMIM Bethesda Sawangan tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil persentase kreativitas anak baik dalam siklus I maupun siklus II. Hasil tersebut dapat dilihat pada siklus I total rata-rata sebanyak 18,46 (75,58%) meningkat dan menjadi 20,6 (93,57%) pada siklus II. Secara umum, peningkatan kreativitas anak melalui permainan playdoh dapat terlaksanan dengan efektif dan menunjukkan peningkatan yang positif.

Abstract

Menanggapi era teknologi, pendidikan harus dapat menyesuaikan dengan berkembangnya teknologi yang semakin canggih dengan salah satu tujuannya yaitu untuk memudahkan pelaksanaan pendidikan, khususnya kegiatan tugas kelompok pada proses pembelajaran terutama dalam kondisi pandemic Covid 19 saat sekarang ini, teknologi sangatlah penting bagi kelancaran proses pendidikan yang berbasis daring . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi google docs sebagai media pembelajaran dalam pengerjaan tugas kelompok pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Sosiologi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Manado sebagai upaya menekan penyebaran covid-19 di Perguruan Tinggi. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Sosiologi. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara melalui cisco webex meetings, dengan menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif oleh Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) mahasiswa telah memiliki fasilitas-fasilitas dasar yang dibutuhkan untuk mengikuti pembelajaran daring; (2) pembelajaran daring memiliki fleksibilitas dalam pelaksanaannya dan mampu mendorong munculnya kemandirian belajar dan motivasi untuk lebih aktif dalam belajar; dan (3) pembelajaran jarak jauh mendorong munculnya perilaku social distancing dan meminimalisir munculnya keramaian mahasiswa sehingga dianggap dapat mengurangi potensi penyebaran Covid-19 di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Lemahnya pengawasan terhadap mahasiswa, kurang kuatnya sinyal di daerah pelosok, dan mahalnya biaya kuota adalah tantangan tersendiri dalam pembelajaran daring. Meningkatkan kemandirian belajar, disiplin, mempermudah koordinasi dan kolaborasi dalam pengerjaan tugas kelompok dan terarsipnya tugas-tugas ini dalam satu file adalah keutungan lain dari pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi  google docs.
