Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca dan menulis siswa Sekolah Dasar, khususnya di SD Negeri 08 Timonong, Kabupaten Bengkayang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV, dan siswa kelas IV yang terdiri dari lima siswa di atas KKM dan lima siswa di bawah KKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan GLS telah dilakukan melalui tahapan pembiasaan, pengembangan, dan pembelajaran, seperti kegiatan membaca 15 menit, penyediaan pojok baca, dan keterlibatan aktif guru. Meskipun program ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan literasi siswa, masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan ruang kelas, kurangnya variasi buku, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan perpustakaan. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran penting bagi sekolah dan guru dalam mengevaluasi efektivitas program literasi serta mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif untuk meningkatkan literasi membaca dan menulis di tingkat sekolah dasar

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika serta kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis kearifan lokal pada materi bangun datar yang sesuai untuk siswa kelas III SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Data diperoleh melalui validasi oleh ahli serta uji kepraktisan yang dilakukan oleh guru kelas. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor validitas rata-rata 119.0 dan penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru mencapai skor rata-rata 51, keduanya dalam kategori sangat tinggi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis dengan kategori sangat baik. E-modul juga mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, e-modul berbasis kearifan lokal layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar karena dapat mendukung pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan bermakna.

Abstract

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education is vital in preparing students to face future challenges by fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. However, in border areas such as Indonesia and Malaysia, the implementation of STEM education remains underexplored. This study uses a quantitative descriptive-comparative design to analyze school teachers' understanding of STEM implementation. It involves 44 teachers from the Indonesia-Malaysia border area in Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics and an independent t-test to assess and compare teachers' levels of understanding. The findings indicated moderate scores for STEM knowledge (3.84), implementation practices (3.71), and school support (3.66), while challenges scored low (2.98). In terms of teaching experience, there was no significant difference between teachers with less than 10 years and those with more than 10 years of experience concerning their understanding of STEM implementation in elementary schools. This is attributed to the limited availability of training programs that could enhance teachers' knowledge regarding STEM education.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah, terutama dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan minat siswa. Salah satu kendala utama adalah kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Geoboard merupakan alat bantu yang dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep geometri secara lebih konkret, sekaligus meningkatkan ketertarikan mereka terhadap matematika. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi dampak penggunaan geoboard terhadap pemahaman matematis dan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana penggunaan geoboard dapat meningkatkan pemahaman matematis serta minat siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kurt Lewin, yang mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 41 siswa kelas VA SDS AMKUR Bengkayang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam pemahaman matematis dan minat siswa setelah diterapkannya geoboard. Sebelum tindakan dilakukan (pra siklus), persentase ketuntasan pemahaman siswa hanya 24,3%. Setelah intervensi, terjadi peningkatan menjadi 58,59% pada siklus I, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 82,90% pada siklus II. Minat belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Sebelum penerapan geoboard, 98% siswa tidak setuju dan 2% sangat tidak setuju terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Pada siklus I, 93% siswa menyatakan setuju, sedangkan 7% masih tidak setuju. Pada siklus II, 27% siswa sangat setuju dan 73% siswa setuju, menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam minat belajar mereka. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi geoboard dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika secara signifikan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low curiosity of students in IPAS learning at elementary schools, especially at SDN 07 Sebalo. One alternative solution offered is the use of Google Sites-based e-learning media. The purpose of this research is to analyze students' curiosity after the implementation of Google Sites-based e- learning in IPAS learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the application of Google Sites can increase students' activeness and participation, as well as stimulate their curiosity towards the IPAS learning material. In conclusion, Google Sites-based e-learning is an effective medium in fostering students' curiosity at the elementary level. The implication of this research provides an overview that teachers can utilize digital media to support more engaging and interactive learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the "Merdeka Belajar, Kampus Merdeka" (MBKM) policy for students in border areas. The problems that exist in border areas are analyzed through descriptive qualitative case studies. The main data sources for this research were obtained through surveys and interviews. Questionnaires and instructions for surveys were given to respondents, namely students. Data were collected through interviews and documentation; triangulation to ensure data validity; and data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study revealed that the target of the MBKM policy for 36 students is the effectiveness of the MBKM policy in border areas is considered not entirely appropriate.  The results obtained are not the right policy, not the right implementation, not the right target, and not the right environment.  With the existence of the MBKM policy, students have not received and understood the benefits, namely the MBKM policy has been socialized but students have not understood it well, not yet appropriate implementation, that the government has established the MBKM policy, but it is not in accordance with the conditions of universities in border areas. Not yet on target, that education equity has not yet reached the target. Not yet appropriate environment, that the MBKM policy has not provided information related to educational development in border areas.

Abstract

The research that will be studied is to see the improvement of elementary school students' scientific literacy skills, the importance of scientific literacy and the challenges in its development at the elementary school level, various approaches and innovative learning models continue to be explored. One of the learning models that is considered potential to facilitate scientific literacy skills is Project Based Learning (PjBL). PJBL is a student-centered learning approach, where students work collaboratively on real projects that are relevant to their lives. Through PjBL, students have the opportunity to conduct in-depth investigations, design solutions, collect and analyze data, and communicate their formulations. This process directly trains various aspects of scientific literacy, from formulating scientific questions to evaluating information and drawing conclusions based on evidence. This study aims to analyze the scientific literacy skills of elementary school students by implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This study used research subjects were students of SDN 07 Sebalo, there were 20 students who took part in science learning, data was collected using a quantitative descriptive approach to the test instrument. The test instrument was used to measure the scientific literacy skills of elementary school students, the data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results of the study stated that students' scientific literacy skills increased by using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, with 2 cycle stages, from the collection of data analysis, the average student test score reached 73.5. The implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model has a very significant impact on the development of elementary school students' literacy skills. This Project Based Learning

Abstract

This study contains the effect of mathematical anxiety on the motivation to learn mathematics and the mathematical creative thinking abilities of junior high school students. Mathematics learning also needs to understand the psychological aspects of students, including about mathematical anxiety and motivation to learn mathematics. Mathematical anxiety and motivation to learn mathematics that are not immediately addressed properly and correctly will affect students' creative thinking skills in mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mathematical anxiety on learning motivation and mathematical creative thinking abilities of junior high school students. This study uses the literature review method with publication limitations of the last 5 years. Exploration of publication results using an open-access website taken from Google Scholar with research results published in Reputable National Journals at least Sinta 4 and Reputable International Journals at least Q3. Publication results are limited to searches using the keywords “Math Anxiety”, “Learning Motivation”, “Creative Thinking Skills”, “Junior High School Mathematics Learning”, “Math Anxiety”, “Learning Motivation”, “Creative Thinking Skills”, and “Mathematics Learning in Junior High School”. Exploration results of publications were analyzed using PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) syntax. The results showed that mathematical anxiety had an effect on motivation to learn mathematics and students' mathematical thinking abilities. Students who have excessive mathematical anxiety tend to have low motivation to learn mathematics. Low motivation to learn mathematics will affect the way students think, especially with regard to the ability to think creatively mathematically. Therefore, teachers must be alert and communicative in order to overcome these problems and students become more comfortable when learning mathematics.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to further examine the strategies used by primary schools in Bengkayang, a border area, in developing the concept of digital economy through the Pelajar Pancasila Profile in the dimension of critical reasoning. This research is an exploratory study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects consist of three primary schools in the border area with different accreditation levels: A, B, and C accreditation. Four teachers were selected from each school, making a total of 12 teacher respondents in this study. The data collection includes interviews, open questionnaires, observations, and literature review. The results of this study show that the concept of digital economy is still unstructured, which can be seen from the fact that the teaching materials used have not been constructed comprehensively. The limitations of understanding related to the concept of the digital economy in elementary schools have not been fully mastered by teachers, so it also has an impact on student understanding. Such conditions encourage the need for training, especially in designing teaching materials and assessments that can accommodate this need. In addition, schools also need to support the improvisation of teaching materials so that they do not depend on the textbooks.

Abstract

Teknologi berkembang pesat dan diantaranya diterapkan di bidang pendidikan. Namun, faktanya masih banyak guru yang belum mampu mengimplementasikan teknologi dan media pembelajaran digital dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Augmented reality menjadi salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemanfaatan augmented reality dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan penelitian scoping review dengan batasan pada hasil artikel yang dipublikasikan selama 3 tahun terakhir. Tahap scoping review menggunakan kerangka Aksey dan O'Malley. Artikel diambil dari hasil publikasi artikel pada Jurnal Terindeks SINTA dengan kata kunci “Augmented Reality” ATAU “Pembelajaran Matematika” ATAU “Sekolah Dasar”. Hasil eksplorasi dianalisis menggunakan kerangka Preferred for Reporting of Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa augmented reality dapat diimplementasikan untuk pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar mengacu pada karakteristik augmented reality yang diadaptasi pada gaya belajar siswa sekolah dasar, tantangan penerapan augmented reality, dan dampak belajar siswa. Technology is developing rapidly and some of it is being applied in the field of education. However, the fact is that there are still many teachers who are not able to implement digital learning technology and media in classroom learning. Augmented reality is then an alternative learning media that can be implemented in learning mathematics in elementary schools. This study aims to analyze the use of augmented reality in learning mathematics in elementary schools. The analysis was carried out using a scoping review research approach with limitations on the results of published articles for the last 3 years. The scoping review stage used Aksey and O'Malley's framework. The articles were taken from the results of article publication in the National Science and Technology Index Indexed Journal (SINTA) using the keywords "Augmented Reality" OR "Mathematics Learning" OR "Elementary School". The outcomes of this exploration were then analyzed using the Preferred for Reporting of Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) framework. The result of this study stated that augmented reality can be implemented for mathematics learning in elementary schools referring to the characteristics of adapted augmented reality on the learning styles of elementary school students, the challenges of implementing augmented reality, and the students' learning impacts.
