Abstract

Public service is one manifestation of the function of the state apparatus as a public servant, public service for the welfare of the community or citizens. Professional service means service that is characterized by public accountability and responsibility from public service providers. One of the functions that must be carried out by the government is the function of public services or the function of community services. To see it all can be packaged in the quality of service (real, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy). The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the effect of the dimensions of service quality (real, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy) simultaneously and partially on community satisfaction simultaneously at the Population and Civil Registration Service (DISPENDUKCAPIL) Banyuwangi City and see the most dominant variables. in service quality. The sample in this study was 138 respondents who used the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used multiple regression tests, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the research, it is explained that all service quality variables have a simultaneous effect on people's satisfaction while partially three variables influence them (tangibles, reliability, and responsiveness) and two other variables. (certainty and empathy) do not affect employee satisfaction. From the fifth variable, it turns out that tangible variables (Physical Evidence) have a dominant influence on people's satisfaction.. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the efficiency of production costs of PT.Perkebunan Nusantara XII Kebun Mumbul RSS (Ribbed Smoked Sheet) Factory after the implementation of Activity Based Management (ABM).This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted by identifying the activities that occur during the production process. Where the company data that has been collected will be compiled, processed, and analyzed to determine value-added and non-value added activities and impose costs into activities according to the amount of resources used or use direct loading to activities. Then compared with the theories that have existed so far. From the results of the comparison, a conclusion was drawn. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Activity Based Management(ABM)method at the RSS (Ribbed Smoked Sheet) factory can lead to production cost efficiency. This is because the amount of production costs in the ABM method results in lower production costs compared to the calculation of conventional methods.Keywords:efficiency, ABC, ABM

Abstract

For print media, maintaining and adding customers is very important in today's digital era. Including Jawa Pos Radar Jember. Companies must improve Service Quality (service quality), to create and maintain Customer Loyalty (loyal customers). This research is quantitative descriptive. This study was conducted on Jawa Pos Radar Jember customers in Jember Regency, precisely in Sumbersari, Patrang and Kaliwates Regencies. Data collection techniques by observation, questionnaire and direct interview. The number of samples was 125 out of a population of around 7,500 subscribers to the Jawa Pos Radar Jember newspaper. This study uses Service Quality independent variables (Tangibility, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy), Customer Satisfaction variablesand Customer Loyalty dependent variables. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with path analysis, classic assumption test (multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and normality test).The purpose of this study is 1) to testand analyze Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy effect on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty. 2) Test and analyze the moderation of Customer Satisfaction against Customer Loyalty.The results show that Tangibility, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy has no significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Only reliability has a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Conversely, Reliabilty, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy has a significant effect on Customer Loyalty. Only, Tangibility is not a significant effect on Customer Loyalty. AndCustomer Saticfaction does not become intervening between Service Quality and Customer Loyalty Keywords: Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction dan Customer Loyalty

Abstract

Entities both business and public, will improve the quality of service with dimensions that are well applied so that it becomes the key to success in the business and public sector. Good quality service will provide customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is the key to business success. Related research to discuss and analyze the effect of services quality based on Information Technology to customer satisfaction of the Regional Water Supply Company of Bondowoso Regency. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through questionnaires. The population of this study is active customers in the service area of ​​the Regional Water Supply Company of Bondowoso Regency with a total sample of 100 people and accidental sampling. For data analysis, the authors used multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be stated that simultaneously Information Technology (IT) based service quality variables consisting of Reliability, Tangible, Assurance, Empaty and Responsiveness affect customer satisfaction in the Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM) of Bondowoso Regency. Partially, the variable quality of service based on Information Technology (IT) consisting of Reliability, Tangible, Assurance, and Responsiveness affects customer satisfaction in the Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM) of Bondowoso Regency. Where as the variable quality of service based on Information Technology (IT) measured by Empathy partially did not affect customer satisfaction in the Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM) of Bondowoso Regency. Variables in service quality based on Information Technology (IT) as measured by reliability are the dominant variables in influencing the level of customer satisfaction in the Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM) of Bondowoso Regency. Abstract

This study attempts to analyze; 1) the effect of political product on the decision to choose the candidate of legislative member; 2) the effect of political product on the decision to choose political party; 3) the effect of the decision to choose the candidates of legislative members on the decision to choose political party; and 4) the role of mediating variable of the decision to choose the candidate of legislative member on the affect the decision to choose political party. The data were analyzed using inferential statistical analysis of Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GeSCA). It shows that 1) the political product has an effect on the decision to choose the candidate of legislative member; 2) the mediating variable of the decision to choose the candidate of legislative member plays a very important role for the constituents in taking the decision to choose political party. However, of the existing three indicators, only personal characteristic can explain the strength of the effect of political product on the selection of political party. Yet, the second hypothesis test result shows that the path coefficient is significant and provides evidence that the second hypothesis is accepted. The decision to choose political party is increa-singly stronger as a result of the decision to choose the candidate of legislative member which is in accordance with the expectations of voters. Acquisition of the party vote will increase after the constituents know the candidates proposed. The higher the popularity and quality of the candidate is, the greater the electoral gains of a party.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect persona, emotional ties and work program on the behavior of selecting candidates for village chief. The population in this study is that people who have a right to vote on the object of research, while the sample of 120 people. This research includes studies explanatoris (explanatoris research). The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression, t test and F test results of this study concluded that persona, emotional ties and work program affect voting behavior. The work program is the dominant variabel in the decision to choose. The results of this study indicate that there has been a shift in voting behavior, causing volatility in the selection of candidates to the village. Research results have broad implications for the winning strategy which must be formulated in accordance with the character of the voters.

Abstract

The objective of this researchwas to analyze the influence of Leadership Style, Work Atmosphere, and Career Development on Teacher Performance.The object of this research is teacher at SMAN I GambiranBanyuwangi. Type of this research was quantitative causality. Respondents who were samples in this research were 51 teachers consisting of 44 civil servant teachers and 7 non-civil servant teachers. Data analysis tool used in this research was doubled linear regression. Technically, SPSS software version 2.2 was used to analyze the data. Respondents were 51 teachers consisting of civil servant and non-civil servant teachers. The results showed that the leadership style, work atmosphere and teacher career development partially affect the improvement of teacher performance. From the analysis result, three variables simultaneously also affect the performance of teachers. While of the three independent variables studied, the dominant variablewhich affects teacher performance was the principal leadership style. The results of this researchreinforced previous studies which state that leadership style is a very important variable in improving performance. The implications of this research showed that to improve teacherperformance, the principal needed to have a leadership style which is appropriate to the character of the organization he leaded. A supportive working environment would help teachers feel comfortable and secure so that their performance improves. Similarly career development needed to be planned so that teachers had the motivation to improve performance in the long termand it would be the capital to fulfill the expectations in their career development. The advice was given to improve career development performance in SMAN 1 GAMBIRAN is by develop the principal leadership style by the improvement of task oriented stye to support the implementation of the curiculum instead.

Abstract

The purpose of this researchwasto identify and analyze the aspects of Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG, in Indonesian language is Penilaian Kinerja Guru) on teacher’s performance. The hypothesis of this researchreads the aspects of teacher performance assessment (PKG) partially significant effect on teacher’s performance. The population in this researcharecivil servant teachers of SMKN 2Jember. This research used a Simple Random Samplingtechniquesince the sampling was done randomly without regarding to strata contained in the population and the whole population are teachers of SMKN 2 Jember. The samples in this researchare71civil servant teachers in SMKN 2 Jember. Data collection methods used in this research are observation, interview, questionnaires and documentation. The implications of the findings of this study may contribute to the development of science and for practitioners. The result of this research was to improve the teacher’s performance, then the aspects of PKG should be improved. This was in accordance with the concept of human resources. Some suggestions can be given was the results of this study indicate that aspects of the Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG) gave significant effect on performance partially.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of leadership, discipline and motivation on the performance, as well as to find out which of the leadership, discipline and motivation are the dominant influence on performance. The subjects in this study are members of Lumajang Police Force Sabhara totaling 63 people.This research uses explanatory research. As independent variables, namely leadership, discipline and motivation, and the dependent variable is the performance. Analysis of the data used are validity and reliability, the classic assumption test, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.The results showed that the leadership has a significant effect on performance, discipline significant effect on performance, motivation significant effect on the performance and motivation of the dominant influence on performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) is equal to 0,795. This means that 79.50% of performance can be explained by the leadership, discipline and motivation. While the rest of 20,50% performance is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance, either partially or simultaneously. This research was conducted at Environment Agency of Bondowoso Regency with total sample of 100 employees. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression with t test analysis tools and F test. The analysis process using SPSS statistical software. Hypothesis test results show that compensation consisting of basic salary, commission, incentive, structural allowance, overtime pay, social security, recognition and responsibility both partially and simultaneously affect the performance of employees. The contribution of variable compensation to employee performance is very dominant as evidenced by the coefficient of determinant 0.98%.
