Abstract

The purpose of this researchwasto identify and analyze the aspects of Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG, in Indonesian language is Penilaian Kinerja Guru) on teacher’s performance. The hypothesis of this researchreads the aspects of teacher performance assessment (PKG) partially significant effect on teacher’s performance. The population in this researcharecivil servant teachers of SMKN 2Jember. This research used a Simple Random Samplingtechniquesince the sampling was done randomly without regarding to strata contained in the population and the whole population are teachers of SMKN 2 Jember. The samples in this researchare71civil servant teachers in SMKN 2 Jember. Data collection methods used in this research are observation, interview, questionnaires and documentation. The implications of the findings of this study may contribute to the development of science and for practitioners. The result of this research was to improve the teacher’s performance, then the aspects of PKG should be improved. This was in accordance with the concept of human resources. Some suggestions can be given was the results of this study indicate that aspects of the Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG) gave significant effect on performance partially.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of leadership, discipline and motivation on the performance, as well as to find out which of the leadership, discipline and motivation are the dominant influence on performance. The subjects in this study are members of Lumajang Police Force Sabhara totaling 63 people.This research uses explanatory research. As independent variables, namely leadership, discipline and motivation, and the dependent variable is the performance. Analysis of the data used are validity and reliability, the classic assumption test, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.The results showed that the leadership has a significant effect on performance, discipline significant effect on performance, motivation significant effect on the performance and motivation of the dominant influence on performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) is equal to 0,795. This means that 79.50% of performance can be explained by the leadership, discipline and motivation. While the rest of 20,50% performance is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance, either partially or simultaneously. This research was conducted at Environment Agency of Bondowoso Regency with total sample of 100 employees. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression with t test analysis tools and F test. The analysis process using SPSS statistical software. Hypothesis test results show that compensation consisting of basic salary, commission, incentive, structural allowance, overtime pay, social security, recognition and responsibility both partially and simultaneously affect the performance of employees. The contribution of variable compensation to employee performance is very dominant as evidenced by the coefficient of determinant 0.98%.

Abstract

This research is aimed at identifying and analyzing the roles of Quality Management System (QMS) towards the productive teachers’ performance of SMKN 2 Jember. The hypothesis of this research says Quality Management System (QMS) is partially significant effect on performance. The population of the research is productive teachers of SMKN 2 Jember. This research uses survey technique for sampling taken as a whole from the total population of productive teachers of SMKN 2 Jember. The samples of the population are 50 respondents of productive teachers of SMKN 2 Jember. The methods of data collection of this research are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The implications of research findings may contribute to the development of academic sciences and practitioners. The result of this research is to improve the productive teachers’ performance which is consistent with the concept of human resources and the aspects of the Quality Management System towards productive teachers’ performance which has partially significant effect on their performance.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of organizational structure, leadership style,management control systems, and organizational culture toward behaviour decision making.Data collection methods used in this research is a method of questionnaire. The results of thisstudy suggest that the organizational structure of partially against the influential behavioraldecision making, leadership styles partially against the influential behavioral decisionmaking, not management control systems influential partially against the behavior ofdecision-making, and organizational culture has no effect partially against the decisionmaking behavior. Research results also showed a simultaneous influence organizationalstructure, leadership style, management control systems, and organizational culture towardsdecision-making behavior and note that the value of the coefficient of determination60.3%, while the remaining 39.7% is explained by other factors that are not described in thismodel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and public relations on the satisfactionof motor vehicle taxpayers in Samsat Jember. The type of research used is Explanatory Researchusing survey methods. The population in this study is the people of Jember who have motorizedvehicle taxpayers. The sampling technique used was a non-probability sampling technique,namely the Accidental Sampling approach. The sample in this study were 100 respondents. Thedata analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicatethat the significant value of the service quality variable on the satisfaction of motorized vehicletaxpayers in Samsat Jember is 0.008 smaller than (0.05), this means that the service qualityvariable has a significant effect on community satisfaction at the Jember Samsat Joint Office.Then the significant value of the public relations variable on the satisfaction of motorized vehicletaxpayers in the Jember Samsat is 0.000 smaller than (0.05), this means that the public relationsvariable also has a significant effect on public satisfaction at the Jember Samsat Joint Office.Keywords: Service Quality, Public Relations, Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of services to community satisfaction for making EKTP in Sumbersuko District, Lumajang Regency. This research was conducted in SumbersukoDistrict, Lumajang Regency. The population in this study is the people in SumbersukoSubdistrict who already have E-KTP with totaling 27,306 people. The sampling method usessimple random sampling with questionnaire distribution techniques. The number of samples inthis study was 125 respondents spread in Sumbersuko District. The method of data analysis inthis study used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 20.0 software. Based onthe results of data analysis shows that the variable responsiveness, assurance, and empathy havea significant effect on community satisfaction with the value of the influence of respectively27.3%, 30.5%, and 14.3%. While the tangible and reliability variables did not significantlyinfluence community satisfaction in making E-KTP in Sumbersuko District, Lumajang Regency.This result also shows that the assurance variable is the most dominant variable influencingcommunity satisfaction in making E-KTP in Sumbersuko District, Lumajang Regency.Keyword: Service Quality, Community Satisfaction, E-KTP

Abstract

Human resources (HR) is one of the main driving forces that are important fororganizations/agencies because human resources are the implementers of every activity. For thisreason, a "fit" Human Resource Management (HRM) is needed in order to achieve highperformance. With a business strategy and appropriate HR practices (fit/match) it will result inorganizational performance that can achieve program realization targets. The purpose of thisstudy was to determine the direct or indirect effect of promotion and employee competence onemployee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable on the employees ofthe Bondowoso Regency Government. The total population of this study was 601 with a sampleof 120 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The analyticaltechnique used is path analysis using SPSS 22.0. The results of data analysis show that thevariable of job promotion has a significant effect on work motivation, employee competence hasa significant effect on work motivation, job promotion has a significant effect on employeeperformance, employee competence has a significant effect on employee performance, workmotivation has a significant effect on employee performance. Indirectly, promotion andemployee competence have a significant effect on employee performance through employeeperformance with the value of the indirect effect being greater than the direct effect. The resultsof this study can be used as an evaluation of the Regional Government of Bondowoso Regencyin terms of providing promotions to employees by considering their competence andperformance.

Abstract

This article aims to look at the effect of capabilities and resources of small and medium businesses on competitive advantage. The writing of this article is based on the phenomenon that most small and medium businesses still have limited ability to achieve competitive advantage. This is due to the capabilities and resources that are also still not fully met. The analysis used to discuss this conceptual article is descriptive qualitative analysis. Capabilities include product quality and reputation while resources include the reliability of human resources, the ability to produce quality products and good teamwork. Competitive advantage is reflected by the uniqueness, reliable strategy and corporate value. The results of the discussion in this article indicate that capabilities and resources that reflect resources based view will affect the achievement of competitive advantage in small and medium businesses.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the simultaneous effect of service quality on student satisfaction, test and analyze the partial effect of service quality on student satisfaction, test and analyze variables that have a dominant influence on student satisfaction. This research method uses multiple linear regression analysis which is used to determine how much influence the independent (independent) variables, namely Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy on the dependent variable is student satisfaction. Research site is at STES Ihya 'Ulumiddin Banyuwangi. The study took a sample of 39 people. While the results of this study can be drawn as follows, the variables Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Emphaty simultaneously affect student satisfaction. The partial test of the Reliability variable, Responsiveness, Assurance and Emphaty is positive, but the Tangible variable is negative. Reliability variables are variables that have a dominant and significant influence on student satisfaction.
