Abstract

The existence of pesantren in the midst of society has a very strategic meaning. Pesantren institutions that are rooted in the community, especially rural communities, are a separate force in arousing the enthusiasm and passion of the community for progress. One of the pesantren that has a long history of the Republic of Indonesia is pesantren Cijati Majalengka. Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School, Cijati. The Community Empowerment Program in Islamic Boarding Schools in terms of economic, social, psychological-counseling, religion, education and other aspects through community service cooperation between universities and partners is expected to provide optimal empowerment for the pesantren environment and the communities around the pesantren area. This service was carried out at the Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School which is located at Jl. K.H Mahfud No. 23 Kelurahan Cijati Kec / Kab. Majalengka with in-house training methods, in the form of socialization, training, and consultation. The conclusion of the community service carried out is the need for a holistic empowerment synergy to increase the potential of the pesantren.

Abstract

Village funds are funds sourced from the APBN which are intended for villages that are transferred through the district/city regional budget. These funds are used to finance the administration of government, implementation of development, community development and empowerment of rural communities. However, there are some governments who do not understand the distribution of village funds properly so that counseling is needed on village fund management. The method used in this activity is counseling. One of the objectives of counseling is to provide an understanding of village fund planning.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia required MSME entrepreneurs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) to find ideas to market their products. So with this problem, it can be concluded that digital technology during the pandemic is very much needed to encourage the promotion of MSME products. The implementation method used is in the form of counseling and training on technology to promote MSME products. The results of this activity show an increase in knowledge of their awareness of using digital technology, a total of 5 entrepreneurs who have been socialized all already understand the use of digital technology and even all of them have practiced it themselves. By making product posts, making posts related to merchandise, making income reports or expenditure. As well as buying through E-commerce that has been taught.

Abstract

Since its appearance in 2019, the Covid-19 virus has quickly spread to various countries in the world. Indonesia is one of the countries with a fairly high number of positive COVID-19 cases. The high number of positive COVID-19 cases has prompted the Indonesian government to implement various policies to prevent the spread and transmission of Covid-19, starting with the imposition of Large-Scale Social Restrictions, the 5M Health Protocol Policy to the Covid-19 Vaccination Program. The purpose of this Real Work Lecture activity is to help prevent the spread and transmission of Covid-19 in the Griya Alam Sentosa Housing Block P19 RT 01 neighborhood through online socialization. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there was an increase in the understanding and behavior of community prevention before and after the socialization. Other problems that have arisen due to the Covid-19 pandemic are the weakening of the economy, some people have difficulty in financial management because people have not planned well. The household financial management socialization and training program with the Money Lover application is carried out with the aim of helping the community in carrying out good financial management so that expenses are not greater than their income so as to avoid being dependent on debt with someone or a money lending institution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of company size, profitability, Islamic securities, liquidity and leverage on the disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2017-2019 period. The data used are the financial statements of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index during the 2017-2019 period. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The sample in this study were 17 companies that were consistently listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index for the 2017-2019 period. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. This study indicate that company size has a significant positive effect, profitability, Islamic securities liquidity and leverage have no significant positive effect on the disclosure of Islamic social reporting. Meanwhile, simultaneously company size, profitability, Islamic securities, liquidity and leverage have a significant positive effect on the disclosure of Islamic social reporting.

Abstract

The main activity of the bank is the provision of services. Banks as financial institutions engaged in services, must be able to provide the best service (Service Excellence) in order to win competition in increasingly competitive situations. Frontliners are officers who are in front of the banking hall that face directly to customers. This study aims to analyze how much influence the quality of service Frontliner (Customer Service, Teller, Security) on the growth of third party funds. In this study using primary and secondary data obtained from the official website of Bank Syariah Mandiri and questionnaires distributed to respondents. The method used is a quantitative method. The results of this study show partially that the quality of frontline service (Customer Service, Teller, Security) has a positive effect on third party funds. While simultaneously the quality of Customer Service services, Teller service quality, security service quality has a significant positive effect on the growth of third party funds. Future research is expected to expand the scope of research or compare variables and other factors.

Abstract

Zakat is one of the important sectors in Islamic philanthropy, currently the collection of zakat has developed quite rapidly. Along with the increasing performance of collecting zakat funds, the Zakat Management Organization (OPZ) is also growing rapidly. As an OPZ institution, it should be able to show good performance, one of which is the efficiency of financial performance. This study aims to measure the efficiency of the Dompet Dhuafa Republika Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ), to determine whether the LAZ under study has carried out its duties properly, and as an evaluation material to improve the performance of LAZ which is the object of research. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were library research and field research. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of financial reports of the Dompet Dhuafa Republika (DDR) amil zakat institution for the 2016-2017 period. The measurement of this research uses the non-parametric Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method with a production approach. The variables used in this study were divided into 2 types, namely input variables and output variables. Input variables include personnel costs, operational costs, and total assets. While the output variables include: collected funds, distributed funds, and total mustahik. The data were processed using the Banxia Frontier Analyst 4.3 computer program. Based on the research that has been done, the results of the 2016 LAZ DDR efficiency level were 100%, while in 2017 it was 98.13%. Inefficiency occurred in 2017 due to variables that did not reach the target, including: personnel costs, operational costs, total assets, funds raised and funds channeled. In general, it can be concluded that the performance of LAZ DDR in 2016 is better than 2017. The results of this study will be able to help LAZ DDR improve the level of efficiency in the next period in order to obtain good performance.

Abstract

The Corona Virus Disease (COVID19) which began to spread throughout the world from 2020 mid-2021 has become a pandemic graphically experiencing several large waves that consistently take lives and have a sharp multidimensional impact. Islam teaches to always give alms both in difficult and happy situations which until now have been embedded in people's lives to care for others to the best of their ability. The crowdfunding movement is an embodiment of social care. This study aims to analyze what factors influence people to participate in the crowdfunding movement for solidarity in the pandemic era using the Planned Behavior Theory concept approach. The sample used in this study was 250 people, but only 235 data could be processed further using multiple regression analysis. The result of data processing is that the variables of attitude, subjective norm and perceived control simultaneously have a significant positive effect on public participation in the crowdfunding movement. The hope for further research is to take steps to optimize these factors in increasing public participation in crowdfunding as a form of social awareness and deepening related to crowdfunding management itself.

Abstract

The potential of Waqf in Indonesia which is in the movement of followers of the largest Muslim religion in the World that is equal to 85% since the days of Pre-Independence. The legal order in Indonesia that underlies the management of waqf is very complete than Zakat, Infaq or Alms. This completeness is manifested in Law No. 41/2004 concerning Endowments and Government Regulation No. 42/2006 concerning Implementation of Law No. 41/2004. Both legality in the form of regulations and the Law provide a more certain legal basis for increasing public trust and guarantee of waqf assets. It became the starting point for the management of waqf and the collection of waqf funds in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative method design in identifying what factors influence people's intentions in carrying out cash waqf. Data collection is done through filling out the questionnaire then be processed the validity and reliability test of 50 people and then given to a sample of 200 people. Factors affecting the intention to fulfill cash waqf based on this research are Attitude, Subjective Norms and Behavioral Control. Third, the Attitude, Subjective Norm, and Behavioral Control variables together have a significant influence on the variables of waqf intentions on cash waqf. Attitude variable towards cash Intention variable is 4.62%, Subjective Norm variable is 2.88%, Behavioural Control variable is 8.5%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the most dominant effective contribution value influencing cash intention variable is the Behavioral Control variable that is 8.5%.

Abstract

The understanding of traditional communities about waqf is very limited, traditional paradigm only know that waqf is only in the form of fixed assets such as land and buildings. Over time cash waqf emerged. But there are still many traditional paradigm who do not know and disagree about cash waqf. Education is a very important factor to create the character of a nation. Educational Waqf is an important instrument in the development of Islamic community education. Therefore, waqf is needed for the Islamic education sector. This research seek disclosure how the management of waqf for education in Indonesia and Malaysia is able to present a perspective and model that can be used as a reference for the management of waqf in optimalizing education sector using comparative descriptive methods. The results of this study are optimization of the education sector waqf by making professional waqf management institutions, optimizing existing assets by involving stakeholders and requiring the role of government in the collection and management of waqf.
