Abstract

This study examines the strengthening of religious values in cyberspace in Indonesia and Pakistan two countries with the world’s largest Muslim populations and significant influence on contemporary Islamic discourse. The rapid advancement of digital technology and the widespread use of social media have created new arenas for religious transmission, especially among younger generations who are deeply engaged in online communication. In Indonesia, platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok are extensively used by preachers to convey Islamic teachings in creative, simplified, and engaging formats, reflecting an approach rooted in Islamic moderation (Wasathiyah). In contrast, in Pakistan, digital preaching has also flourished but tends to adopt a more conservative tone and operates under stricter government regulation due to historical sectarian tensions and concerns about extremist influence. Employing a qualitative approach with interactive analysis techniques, this study investigates the roles of governments, religious institutions, and civil society in shaping religious narratives within digital spaces. The findings reveal that while both countries acknowledge the transformative potential of cyberspace for promoting religious education and identity formation, they also face persistent challenges such as radicalization, misinformation, and online hate speech. Consequently, the study underscores the importance of strengthening digital religious literacy and fostering collaborative regulatory frameworks to ensure that cyberspace evolves into an inclusive, constructive, and peaceful environment for reinforcing Islamic values. These insights contribute to broader academic discussions on religion, media, and the transformation of Islamic education in the digital age.

Abstract

Background: Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan sempol kekinian sebagai bagian dari program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam bidang keterampilan produksi makanan ringan berbasis lokal serta strategi pemasaran kuliner secara digital. Metode: Pelatihan ini menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), yang menekankan pemanfaatan aset dan potensi lokal yang telah dimiliki oleh masyarakat. Hasil: Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta tidak hanya mampu menguasai keterampilan teknis pembuatan sempol, tetapi juga menerapkannya dalam praktik wirausaha secara mandiri maupun kelompok. Dampak dari kegiatan ini mencakup dimensi ekonomi melalui peningkatan pendapatan rumah tangga, dimensi sosial melalui penguatan partisipasi dan jejaring komunitas, serta dimensi budaya melalui inovasi produk kuliner lokal yang relevan dengan selera pasar. Pelatihan ini juga mengintegrasikan soft skills kewirausahaan, seperti pengelolaan usaha kecil dan promosi digital. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, pelatihan pembuatan sempol kekinian memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat, khususnya dalam aspek keterampilan produksi kuliner dan semangat kewirausahaan. perubahan perilaku yang positif, baik secara individu maupun kolektif, dalam membangun usaha mikro yang berorientasi pada kemandirian ekonomi keluarga. Integrasi antara keterampilan teknis dan soft skills kewirausahaan juga menjadi nilai tambah yang penting, terutama dalam mendorong adaptasi terhadap perkembangan ekonomi digital. Dengan mempertimbangkan keberhasilan pelatihan ini, program serupa sangat potensial untuk direplikasi di wilayah lain, dengan catatan perlu adanya penyesuaian berdasarkan karakteristik, kebutuhan, dan aset lokal masing-masing komunitas.

Abstract

This research explores the concept of character education for pre-school children based on the perspectives of Ki Hajar Dewantara and Maria Montessori. This research uses a qualitative approach with a comparative analysis method to highlight the similarities and differences of these two educational pioneers. Ki Hajar Dewantara emphasised the integration of local wisdom, independence, and moral values through the principles of ‘Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha’ (setting an example), ‘Ing Madya Mangun Karsa’ (building motivation), and ‘Tut Wuri Handayani’ (supporting from behind). In contrast, Maria Montessori focused on developing independence, discipline, and a sense of responsibility through structured learning environments, individualised learning plans, and the use of didactic materials. Despite their different cultural and historical contexts, both approaches share the common goal of fostering children's character as a foundation for lifelong development. The study concludes by emphasising the relevance of these two perspectives in designing a holistic character education model that addresses cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions for early childhood education.

Abstract

Tujuannya untuk mengetahui perencanaan materi aqidah akhlak menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori. Desain penelitian ini adalah kualitatif serta jenisnya studi kasus. Data diperoleh dengan interviu, pemeriksaan dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data tersebut peneliti analisis menggunakan tiga teknik, Kondensasi data, Penyajian Data, Penarikan Kesimpulan dan pengujian keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan materi aqidah akhlak menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori di MI Plus Darussa’adah Lirboyo Kota Kediri ternyata sudah berjalan maksimal. Karena semua pendidik MI Plus Darussa’adah Lirboyo Kota Kediri sudah professional. Dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori ini peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif lagi dalam belajar dan lebih mudah untuk memahami materi yang diberikan oleh pendidik dan bisa meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dalam menangkap suatu materi. Dampak menggunakan strategi ini peserta didik menjadi lebih mudah memahami materi, karena strategi pembelajaran ekspositori ini mencangkup 1) persiapan, 2) penyajian, 3) korelasi (hubungan), 4) menyimpulkan, 5) mengaplikasikan.mengkhatamkan satu kali khataman selama 41 hari, selama mengamalkan hatinya harus tadarru’ kepada allah, harus menjaga shalat fardu jangan sampai qodlo’, harus istiqomah, tidak boleh keluar dari tempat pengamalan, tidak banyak guyon dan mengobrol yang tidak penting, setelah khatam membaca do’a quran lalu ditiupkan kedalam air dan meminta hajatnya lalu diminum, (3) kecerdasan intelektual, lebih kuat (mutqin) hafalan quran yang sudah dihafalkan, tambahnya keberkahan, emosional,dan spiritual.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a form of community service activity that is special, because in KKN, education and teaching, research and community service are integrated into it and involve a number of students and a number of teaching staff plus elements of the community. KKN is an intracurricular lecturing activity in the form of community service carried out by students in an interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral manner. This activity is aimed at developing the sense of sensitivity and social cognition of students as well as assisting the development process. The PAR (Participatory Action Research) based devotional model was chosen as the team service method. Where PAR has three key variables, namely, Participatory, Action (action) and Research (research). Zainuddin et al (2014:104) state, the three variables are formulated as follows: (1) Research, this stage is the stage of research on the problems faced by the community, the problem is understood in such depth and detail, so that the problem can clearly know the causes and consequences, (2) Action (action), after knowing these problems in depth and detail, then enter the second step, namely the search for alternative solutions to solve the problem, which is then translated into several work program items. which will be implemented, and (3) Participatory, the two items above are carried out in a participatory manner, meaning by involving all components of society in identifying problems and solving techniques together. There are several results of work programs carried out by students in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic which spread in the village of Tanjungjaya, Bangunrejo District, Central Lmapung Regency, Lampung Province, including the following: 5M Education Program for Covid-19 Prevention, 5M Education Program and Distribution of PPE (Masks) and Environmental Cleanliness Service Program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in enhancing students’ discipline during the teaching and learning process.The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to illustrate how teachers perform their roles and implement strategies in shaping students’ disciplinary behavior. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that students’ discipline is developed through several strategies, including guidance, habituation, teacher role modeling, and the application of educational sanctions. Teachers play a crucial role in fostering students’ self-awareness by explaining the importance of discipline, providing character education, and regulating student behavior. Nevertheless, some students were still found to be inconsistent in completing assignments and complying with classroom rules. The discussion reveals that students’ disciplinary motivation arises from both intrinsic awareness and extrinsic factors, particularly fear of punishment. Teacher strategies oriented toward dialogue, exemplary behavior, and support from the head of the madrasah contribute significantly to the creation of an orderly and conducive learning environment. In conclusion, the success of discipline formation largely depends on the synergy between teacher strategies, exemplary conduct, student participation, and support from the school principal. A consistent and dialogical approach has proven effective in establishing a more stable and productive culture of discipline in the classroom.
