Abstract

Pengabdian ini membahas permasalahan pergaulan bebas di kalangan remaja yang menjadi fenomena sosial signifikan di Indonesia, terutama di lingkungan sekolah. Pergaulan bebas, yang sering berkaitan dengan seks bebas dan penyalahgunaan narkotika, dipicu oleh berbagai faktor, baik internal (seperti kurangnya perhatian dari orang tua) maupun eksternal (seperti pengaruh pertemanan yang negatif dan media sosial). Pengabdian bertujuan memberikan edukasi melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dampak pergaulan bebas dan penyalahgunaan narkotika bagi aktifis OSIS dan ROHIS di SMAN 12 Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan dan pembagian kuisioner untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman siswa sebelum dan setelah kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran siswa tentang dampak negatif pergaulan bebas serta pentingnya nilai-nilai agama dan moral dalam membentuk perilaku positif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pendekatan komprehensif untuk menangani masalah pergaulan bebas di kalangan remaja, dengan strategi pencegahan yang adaptif terhadap konteks budaya lokal.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic values ​​in the national curriculum is a strategic issue in the development of character education in Indonesia. Amidst the flow of globalization and technological advances, national education is faced with the challenge of maintaining national identity while responding to the needs of the times. This article aims to analyze the challenges of integrating Islamic values ​​in the national curriculum, especially in the context of the Independent Curriculum policy and the reality of multicultural education. Using a qualitative literature study approach, this article examines various national education literature and policies in the last five years. The results of the analysis show that the main challenges lie in the lack of pedagogical understanding of teachers, resistance to the integration of religious values ​​in general lessons, and limited contextual implementation guidelines. This article recommends the need for inclusive curriculum design, transformative teacher training, and strengthening collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the community.

Abstract

  This research aims to analyze Islamic teachings on morality derived from the Qur’an, Hadith, and scholarly interpretations, identify the key factors contributing to the current moral decline among youth, and evaluate how Islamic moral education can effectively address these issues.The moral crisis among adolescents is an increasingly worrying problem, marked by the increase in deviant behavior, such as bullying, promiscuity, and abuse of technology. Moral education in an Islamic perspective offers a preventive solution through instilling the values of faith, kindness, and social responsibility. This article aims to examine the strategic role of Islamic moral education in shaping the character of adolescents with noble character. Using a qualitative approach through a literature study, this article explores the concept of moral education, moral problems of adolescents, and the implementation of moral education in the context of formal and non-formal education. The results of the study show that Islamic moral education that is implemented holistically can strengthen the moral resilience of adolescents.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the strategies, teaching methods, and approaches used by IRE teachers to nurture balanced, tolerant, and inclusive religious attitudes. Generation Z is growing up in a digital era that is full of information, including diverse religious content. The biggest challenge is filtering out extreme and intolerant information. This is where the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers is needed as agents of religious moderation. This article discusses the role of PAI teachers in instilling religious moderation values such as tolerance, non-violence, and love for the country. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature studies and field observations in several junior high schools in Indonesia. The results show that teachers who can integrate moderation values in teaching materials and personal exemplars contribute significantly in shaping balanced religious understanding in students. This article offers concrete recommendations for strengthening the role of teachers in moderate religious character education.

Abstract

The moral crisis affecting Indonesia's younger generation has become a serious concern in the field of education. One of the root causes is the weak internalization of spiritual and ethical values within the learning process. Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which should play a strategic role in character building, often remains confined to a purely cognitive approach. This article aims to analyze and integrate Islamic theological values with pedagogical approaches in PAI as an effort to optimize students’ character development. This research employs a qualitative approach through library research. Data were collected from a wide range of relevant literature, including academic books, journal articles, and educational policy documents. The data analysis used a descriptive-analytical method with content analysis to explore the relationship between Islamic theological concepts and pedagogical strategies in character education. The findings reveal that the integration of theological values—such as tawhid, morality, and worship—with pedagogical approaches that are humanistic, constructivist, and contextual significantly enhances the effectiveness of PAI in shaping student character. These values serve as the moral and spiritual foundation that imbues the entire learning process. The implications of this study highlight the urgency of designing a PAI curriculum that is integrative and holistic, along with the need to train teachers in pedagogical strategies aligned with Islamic theological principles. Thus, PAI can function not only as a medium for transmitting religious knowledge but also as a transformative tool for nurturing well-rounded students who are faithful, virtuous, and competitive in the modern era.

Abstract

The character crisis among Indonesian youth poses a serious challenge in the field of education, especially in the era of globalization and digitalization that massively introduces external values. The Merdeka Curriculum emerges as an educational reform initiative emphasizing character development through flexible learning and the reinforcement of the Pancasila Student Profile. However, there remains a lack of systematic studies on practical strategies to integrate Islamic values into the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in a way that effectively supports holistic character formation. This study aims to analyze strategies for integrating Islamic values into the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum to enhance the effectiveness of character development. A qualitative descriptive approach is employed using library research methods, examining recent academic literature and education policies (2019–2024). Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis, with source triangulation to ensure validity. The findings indicate that Islamic values can be integrated through several learning strategies, such as thematic-integrative approaches, project-based learning, problem-based learning, cross-disciplinary teacher collaboration, and the use of Islamic digital technologies. These strategies enable the contextual and practical internalization of Islamic moral values while supporting the development of 21st-century competencies. The implications highlight the urgent need to enhance the capacity of Islamic education teachers (PAI) in designing holistic learning strategies aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum and Islamic values. This study provides conceptual and practical contributions to the development of Islamic education that is relevant, moderate, and transformative.

Abstract

Revitalization of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in higher education has become a strategic urgency in responding to the challenges of globalization, secularization of education, and the crisis of students' spiritual identity. This article aims to examine new approaches in PAI learning that are able to integrate students' intellectual and spiritual intelligence. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature study, this study identifies the need for curriculum transformation, contextual learning methods, and the role of lecturers as value facilitators. The results of the study indicate that PAI revitalization must include a transdisciplinary approach, the use of digital technology, and the integration of religious moderation values. These efforts will shape the character of students who are not only intellectually critical but also spiritually strong. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of PAI curriculum at the higher education level.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of information technology has driven significant transformation in learning practices in the 21st century. The integration of Blended Learning and Flipped Classroom models is one of the effective strategies to answer the demands of more flexible, interactive and 21st century skills-based learning. This article aims to analyse the effectiveness of combining the two models in encouraging learners' active engagement and improving learning outcomes. The approach used in this research is a systematic literature study that reviews various scientific articles from the last five years. The results show that the integrative application of Blended Learning - which combines face-to-face and online learning - with Flipped Classroom - which flips the role of the classroom into a space for exploration after self-learning - can create a more flexible, interactive and learner-centred learning environment. In addition, this model has been shown to increase independence, responsibility for learning, and in-depth understanding of concepts. This article recommends that educators and education policy makers consider integrating these two approaches in curriculum planning and instructional design, to facilitate contextualised and adaptive learning to future challenges. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong transformasi signifikan dalam praktik pembelajaran di abad ke-21. Integrasi model Blended Learning dan Flipped Classroom menjadi salah satu strategi efektif untuk menjawab tuntutan pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel, interaktif, dan berbasis keterampilan abad 21. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggabungan kedua model tersebut dalam mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik serta meningkatkan hasil belajar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur sistematik yang mengkaji berbagai artikel ilmiah dari lima tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan integratif antara Blended Learning—yang menggabungkan pembelajaran tatap muka dan daring—dengan Flipped Classroom—yang membalik peran kelas menjadi ruang eksplorasi setelah belajar mandiri—mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih fleksibel, interaktif, dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Selain itu, model ini terbukti meningkatkan kemandirian, tanggung jawab belajar, serta pemahaman konsep secara mendalam. Artikel ini merekomendasikan agar pendidik dan pengambil kebijakan pendidikan mempertimbangkan integrasi kedua pendekatan ini dalam perencanaan kurikulum dan desain instruksional, guna memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan adaptif terhadap tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The rapid development of information and communication technology has opened up great opportunities for educational transformation, one of which is through the implementation of an adaptive learning model based on artificial intelligence (AI). This model aims to realise personalised education by adjusting materials, learning pace, and teaching strategies according to the needs and characteristics of each student. This research uses a qualitative approach with a systematic literature study that reviews more than 50 scientific publications and reports related to the implementation of AI in adaptive education. The research stages included identification of global trends, analysis of commonly used adaptive models, and evaluation of challenges and opportunities in various educational contexts. The results show that AI-based adaptive learning can significantly improve students' motivation, active participation, and learning outcomes, especially when the system is able to adjust interventions in real-time. However, the main challenges faced include limited digital infrastructure, potential algorithm bias, and the need for teacher training in the utilisation of the technology. The conclusion of this study emphasises that the successful implementation of AI-based adaptive learning models is highly dependent on the synergy between technology, education policy and school ecosystem readiness. A cross-sector collaborative strategy is needed to make AI a tool that supports equitable education equity and quality. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat telah membuka peluang besar bagi transformasi pendidikan, khususnya melalui penerapan model pembelajaran adaptif berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI). Model ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan pendidikan yang terpersonalisasi dengan menyesuaikan materi, kecepatan belajar, dan strategi pengajaran sesuai kebutuhan serta karakteristik masing-masing siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur sistematis, yang menganalisis lebih dari 50 publikasi ilmiah dan laporan kebijakan pendidikan global. Tahapan penelitian meliputi identifikasi tren dan perkembangan AI dalam pendidikan, klasifikasi model pembelajaran adaptif yang banyak diterapkan, serta evaluasi tantangan dan peluang implementasinya di berbagai konteks pendidikan, baik di negara maju maupun berkembang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran adaptif berbasis AI secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi aktif, dan capaian akademik siswa, terutama saat sistem mampu memberikan intervensi pembelajaran secara real-time dan berbasis data. Namun, beberapa tantangan yang muncul antara lain adalah keterbatasan infrastruktur digital, potensi bias dalam algoritma AI, serta kurangnya literasi teknologi pada tenaga pendidik. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi AI dalam pendidikan adaptif sangat bergantung pada kesiapan teknologi, dukungan kebijakan yang inklusif, serta kolaborasi antara sektor pendidikan, teknologi, dan pemerintah. Pendekatan holistik dan kolaboratif diperlukan agar AI dapat berkontribusi nyata dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang merata, responsif, dan berkeadilan.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, MTs 1 Lampung Tengah faces significant challenges in enhancing its competitiveness amid increasingly tight competition. One of the primary issues is how the institution can effectively manage educational quality to meet the demands of the digital age. This study aims to analyze the implementation of madrasah quality management in efforts to improve institutional competitiveness in the digital era. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The primary respondents include the head of the madrasah, teachers, and administrative staff involved in quality management. The findings indicate that the implementation of quality management at MTs 1 Lampung Tengah encompasses several key aspects, such as enhancing the competencies of teaching staff through information and communication technology (ICT) training, utilizing an integrated information management system, and applying stringent assessment standards. This quality management implementation has proven effective in improving educational quality, as reflected in the increased student achievements and parent satisfaction with educational services. Additionally, the quality management practices allow the madrasah to be more responsive to technological changes and the dynamic demands of the education market. The implications of this study suggest that quality management in madrasahs, which focuses on enhancing digital skills and technology adaptation, plays a crucial role in boosting institutional competitiveness. As a result, MTs 1 Lampung Tengah is able to compete with other educational institutions and remain relevant in the digital era. The study recommends continuous development in quality management and the enhancement of technological infrastructure to support more effective learning processes.
