Abstract

The main problem that occurs in this service is the anxiety found around drug abuse which has touched the very foundation of life in society. The method of implementing service is carried out in the stages of preparation, coaching and counseling as well as monitoring and evaluating activities. The results obtained from this service activity are that it can foster positive values in providing constructive/constructive contributions in terms of preventing drug abuse. To measure the influence on partners (in this case the Padang Sakti Gampoeng community), several methods are applied by the service team, namely: measuring initial knowledge and attitudes, testing knowledge after the seminar, evaluating changes in attitudes and participant feedback. Measuring the influence and impact on Malikussaleh University in carrying out its service, the service team uses several indicators and evaluation methods as follows: developing networks and relationships, increasing reputation, publication and dissemination of results. Finally, to measure the influence and impact on the service team in carrying out service, the team uses several indicators and evaluation methods as follows: participation and attendance, participant satisfaction, impact of participant knowledge and attitudes, collaboration with partners, increased knowledge of the service team, increased cooperation between the service team and partners (Gampoeng Padang Sakti device), and increased reputation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Dependence of Poor Families On Government Social Assistance Programs (Case Study in Mekar Sari Hamlet, Stabat Lama Barat Village, Wampu District, Langkat Regency). The focus of this study includes social and economic dependence as well as the factors that cause poor families to rely on social assistance. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to comprehensively describe the social reality of the beneficiaries. The theory used is the Habitus theory proposed by Pierre Bourdieu. The results show that community dependence occurs not only in the economic aspect but also extends to social and structural realms. Social assistance programs such as PKH, BPNT, BLT-DD, replacing the role of work productivity and forming a passive mindset. The factors causing dependency include job and income instability, low levels of education and skills, the absence of sustainable empowerment programs, and consumer-oriented aid policies. The impact of dependence on social assistance makes people have a dependent attitude by maintaining poor status in order to continue receiving assistance. Analysis through the theory of Habitus shows that the lived experience in conditions of persistent scarcity creates habits and passive mindsets that are passed down through generations. This habitus is difficult to change without strong structural intervention from the government through comprehensive and sustainable community empowerment programs.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and digitalization, the banking industry faces increasingly complex challenges, such as intense competition, regulatory changes, and rising customer expectations for fast, secure, and high-quality services. In this context, employee performance becomes a key factor in determining the bank's ability to adapt and grow. Employee performance not only includes technical competence in carrying out banking tasks but also skills in serving customers, mitigating risks, and maintaining the institution's reputation and trust. Theoretically, this research is based on the concept of business administration, which views organizations as a series of interconnected activities to achieve objectives, including effective human resource management. In the workplace, employees' perceptions of their environment and the feedback provided by supervisors play an important role in shaping attitudes, motivation, and performance. This study employs a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation, resulting in a comprehensive understanding of employee performance dynamics in the field. The findings indicate that employees who consistently apply the principles of Amanah, Shiddiq, Fathanah, and Tabligh tend to receive constructive feedback that encourages performance improvement. Conversely, employees who are less optimal in applying these principles generally receive corrective feedback as a form of guidance. Properly delivered feedback has been shown to strengthen positive employee behavior, as explained in reinforcement theory, which states that behavior is more likely to be repeated when it results in favorable consequences. Overall, the performance of BAS Lhokseumawe Branch employees is categorized as good, as reflected in the achievement of targets and compliance with sharia principles. This study suggests that management should enhance the quality of communication in providing feedback, including through training for unit leaders to deliver objective, constructive, and empathetic feedback, thus improving employee motivation without creating psychological pressure.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Media sosial telah menjadi ruang utama generasi muda dalam berinteraksi, memperoleh informasi, dan mengekspresikan diri. Namun, penetrasi teknologi ini sering tidak diiringi literasi digital yang memadai. Hoaks, ujaran kebencian, pelanggaran etika, serta rendahnya kesadaran privasi masih menjadi masalah serius di tingkat komunitas. Artikel ini memaparkan hasil program pengabdian masyarakat berupa edukasi literasi digital bertajuk “Medsos Sehat” bagi pemuda Karang Taruna di Gampong Blang Pulo, Kecamatan Muara Satu, Kota Lhokseumawe. Metode yang digunakan mencakup ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi cek fakta, workshop pembuatan konten digital, serta evaluasi pre–post test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan peserta memilah informasi benar dan palsu, peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam memproduksi konten positif, serta kesadaran etika digital yang lebih baik. Dampak jangka panjang terlihat dari terbentuknya komunitas Medsos Sehat yang secara aktif mengelola akun media sosial Karang Taruna sebagai sarana edukasi publik. Program ini menghasilkan modul literasi digital, konten kampanye anti-hoaks, publikasi di media, serta MoU dengan gampong untuk keberlanjutan kegiatan. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa literasi digital berbasis komunitas merupakan strategi efektif untuk membangun ekosistem digital sehat di tingkat lokal, dan merekomendasikan replikasi model ini ke gampong pesisir lainnya di Aceh. Kata Kunci: Literasi Digital, Karang Taruna, Media Sosial, Edukasi, Pengabdian.  ABSTRACT Social media has become the main space for the younger generation to interact, obtain information, and express themselves. However, the penetration of this technology is often not accompanied by adequate digital literacy. Hoaxes, hate speech, ethical violations, and low privacy awareness are still serious problems at the community level. This article describes the results of a community service program in the form of digital literacy education entitled "Healthy Social Media" for youth of Karang Taruna in Gampong Blang Pulo, Muara Satu District, Lhokseumawe City. The methods used include interactive lectures, group discussions, fact-checking simulations, digital content creation workshops, and pre-post test evaluations. The results showed a significant increase in participants' ability to sort out true and false information, increased confidence in producing positive content, and better awareness of digital ethics. The long-term impact can be seen from the formation of the Healthy Social Media community which actively manages Karang Taruna's social media accounts as a means of public education. This program produces digital literacy modules, anti-hoax campaign content, publications in the media, and MoU with gampong for the sustainability of activities. This article concludes that community-based digital literacy is an effective strategy for building a healthy digital ecosystem at the local level, and recommends replicating this model to other coastal gampongs in Aceh. Keywords: Digital Literacy, Youth Organization, Social Media, Education, Service.
