Abstract

This research is a development of previous research entitled "Designing Regenerative Shock Absorber as a Vibration Energy Harvesting Tool on Vehicles" in the PUPT scheme funded by PNBP UNP 2017. In this study optimization of design oriented to energy generation was carried out while also paying attention to aspects driving comfort that might change due to the installation of a harvesting energy mechanism. One aspect of the change occurred in the type of magnet used, namely a ring type magnet with a type of neodymium material.From the test results obtained by changing the value of the efficiency of the shock absorber after the ERSA mechanism is installed by 2%, this condition also has an impact on the dissimilarity of the attenuation value obtained by 2% for the front-rear (left) and (right) wheels. In terms of generation voltage obtained the maximum generation voltage obtained is 25,600 mV. Based on the data obtained, it needs further development ERSA, especially in the aspect of the electromagnetic mechanism to optimize the generation of electrical energy.

Abstract

Car air conditioning system simulator is a tool that can be used to learn the mechanism of action and the performance of the air conditioning system with certain treatments. The purpose of this research is to be able to design, make a simulator of air conditioning system type of orifice tube car with R134a cooling fluid to determine the mechanism of action, and analyze the performance of system using R134a cooling fluid. This research is a type of Research and Development (R & D), with the ADDIE model development procedure. Based on the results of research conducted, the final product is a valid and practical Car Air Conditioning System Simulator. Coefficience Of Performance (COP) value = 4.88, and has a practical value of 93 %. Simulator sistem pengkondisian udara mobil merupakan alat yang dapat digunakan untuk mempelajari mekanisme kerja dan unjuk kerja sistem pengkondisian udara dengan perlakuan tertentu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mampu merancang, membuat simulator sistem pengkondisian udara mobil jenis orifice tube dengan fluida pendingin R134a untuk mengetahui mekanisme kerja, dan menganalisa unjuk kerja sistem dengan menggunakan fluida pendingin R134a. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Research and Development (R & D), dengan prosedur pengembangan model ADDIE. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dihasilkan produk akhir berupa Simulator Sistem Pengkondisian Udara Mobil yang valid dan praktis. Nilai Cooefficience Of Performance (COP) = 4,88, dan memiliki nilai kepraktisan 93 %.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi tersebut telah mencakup di segala bidang aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) merupakan salah satu perkembangan yang sangat pesat, di mana era ini membawa iklim yang semakin terbuka untuk saling bekerja sama dan saling melengkapi.Masalah yang paling menonjol adalah praktek pada mata pelajaran Teknik Sepeda Motor, selain kekurangan dalam alat dan bahan praktek juga dihadapkan dengan kondisi alat dan bahan praktek yang sudah using (out of date) dari sisi teknologi, akibatnya siswa ketika lulus ilmu mereka jauh ketinggalan dengan yang dibutuhkan dunia kerja.Dari kendala yang dialami oleh siswa SMKN 1 SMKN 1 Luak Kab. Lima Puluh Kota maka TIM PKM Jurusan teknik Otomotif Universitas Negeri Padang, melihat ada peluang untuk melakukan pengabdian untuk membantu memberikan solusi dengan permasalahan yang ada yakninya memeberikan pelatihan tentang Pelatihan Perawatan Sepeda Motor PGM FI (Programmed Fuel Injection), kegiatan yang di tawarkan adalah memberikan keterbaruan ilmu bagi siswa dalam menyelesaikan praktek dengan menggunakan tipe kendaraan sepeda motor yang sudah berbasis teknologi full elektronik secara komputerisasi.Metode pendekatan yang digunakan ada dua yaitu dengan metode classroom dan practice. Dimana kegiatan akan dilakukan secara tatap muka dengan beberapa kali pertemuan dan untuk tindak lanjut akan dilakukan dengan pembimbingan. Kedepannya akan di tunjuk beberapa guru yang sudah cukup mampu dan cakap dalam melakukan pembimbingan.

Abstract

This study will look for optimal results from using the type of spark plug, oil, and gasoline ethanol mixture to increase the temperature and mileage of a 4 stroke motorcycle using the Taguchi method, which this research can also be used as a reference for further researchers. The object of research in this study is a Yamaha Vega ZR 2010 modified injection system. Data collection is done directly, such as the temperature test is carried out with an engine speed of 5000 rpm with a span of 2 minutes each run, while for the mileage test using the full to full method. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the increase in temperature gets an optimal response, namely A1 (Nickel Spark Plug) SNR response (36.2803), B3 (Shell Advance Oil) SNR response (37.8012), C2 (Ethanol gasoline 75%: 25 %) SNR response (36,4388). As for the optimal response to mileage, the factors are A2 (Iridium Spark Plug) SNR response (28.5501), B2 (Federal Racing Oil) SNR response (28.5446), C3 (Ethanol Gasoline 80%:20%) SNR response (28, 5446).

Abstract

Numerous obstacles must be overcome by vocational schools, particularly in the area of developing technical and practical knowledge. The provision of skills improvement and reskilling for teachers and students, especially in the field of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) in gasoline-powered vehicles, is the most fundamental issue at SMKN 1 Lembah Melintang that needs special attention, particularly for Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering (TKRO). The program's goal is to increase teachers' and students' proficiency in the use of tools and procedures for regular maintenance of the EFI system in cars. With a portion of 30:70, the participants will receive both theoretical and practical training. The results of the pretest and posttest show that this program has increased the competence and expertise of teachers and students. This is proved by significant growth from the prior competency in the use of tools and circular work steps, with student gains of 24% and teacher gains of 14%.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to (1) describe the entrepreneurial spirit of automotive engineering students, (2) describe the motivation of the entrepreneurial spirit of automotive engineering students, and (3) see whether entrepreneurship and motivation have a relationship between For automotive engineering students This research is a descriptive analysis research. , regression and correlation, data collection was carried out using questionnaires and literature studies as additional data. In this study, the sample was 8th semester students as many as 35 students. Survey Results (1) The level of student entrepreneurship attitude for entrepreneurship is 71.36% in the "good" category. (2) while for motivation in entrepreneurship with a value of 76.64% with a level of "good" category. (3) Analyzing the relationship between entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship with product moment, obtained a score of 0.655, with a coefficient of determination of 53.40%, and it is known that the variable for attitude to entrepreneurship has an influence with the motivation variable for entrepreneurship with a value of 54.40%, and which has other influences. is the personal ability of students, environmental conditions, family and friends around them

Abstract

The student's desire to become a teacher is a factor that influences attitudes and motivation to attend lectures. High levels of interest in becoming a teacher will speed up the lecture process and influence student learning outcomes. The purpose of this correlational study is to determine the relationship between student learning outcomes in education courses and interest in becoming a teacher. The study was conducted on students from the FT UNP Automotive Engineering Education study program's 2018 class. The study was conducted on students from the FT UNP Automotive Engineering Education study program's 2018 class. The Pearson product moment correlation formula was used to analyze the data, and the t test was used to determine the significance of the correlation coefficient r. Based on the analysis of the research data, it was determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between desire to become a teacher and learning outcomes in student education courses.

Abstract

Traksi is a division of work related to transportation at PT TKA. There are cases of work accidents experienced by Traksi employees every year. This study aims to identify potential hazards from the work activities of Traksi employees. Data collection was carried out at the Koto Ubi Garden division through direct observation in the Traksi work area, and employee interviews regarding the activities carried out. The hazard identification process is carried out using the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) method. From the results of hazard identification, 26 potential hazards can occur to Traksi employees. Meanwhile, from the risk assessment, there are 35% in the extreme category, 31% in the high category, 23% in the low category, and 11% in the medium category. Traksi merupakan divisi pekerjaan yang berkaitan dengan transportasi di PT TKA. Terdapat kasus kecelakaan kerja yang dialami oleh karyawan Traksi di setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya dari aktivitas kerja karyawan Traksi. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada divisi Kebun Koto Ubi melalui pengamatan langsung di area kerja Traksi, dan melakukan wawancara pekerja mengenai aktivitas kerja yang dilakukan. Proses identifikasi bahaya dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA). Dari hasil identifikasi bahaya didapatkan 26 potensi bahaya yang dapat terjadi pada karyawan Traksi. Sedangkan dari penilaian risiko terdapat 35% pada kategori ekstrim, 31% pada kategori tinggi, 23% pada kategori rendah, dan 11% pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

Of 120 work accidents and work-related body injury reports, 75% occurred in young transporters. These are caused by young oil palm transporters' lack of understanding and ability to drive safely, especially in oil palm plantation sites with uneven road characteristics, and the vehicle specifications need to be safer to drive. This community service aims to provide knowledge and skills to the people of Persipan Ranah Melintang village, especially young oil palm transporters, regarding driving safety so that it can reduce the number of accidents in this area. The method used in the safety riding training activities uses the lecture method, question and answer, discussion, video demonstrations, and sound and proper practice of riding a motorbike following safety riding rules. The results of this activity showed the participants' enthusiasm for participating in the training, especially when practicing riding motorbikes. In addition, there was an increase in participants' awareness and understanding of the importance of safety riding when driving.

Abstract

The increasing population of motorbikes has an impact on fuel needs and the resulting increase in exhaust emissions. The electrolyzer has an effect on fuel consumption and gasoline exhaust of a modified 4-stroke motorbike. This research is experimental research, starting with designing and making the tools to be studied, then conducting research. As a result, there was a decrease in fuel consumption of 31.36% at 2000 RPM rotation, 8.73% at 4000 RPM engine speed, and 15.48% at 6000 RPM rotation. While exhausting emissions, there was a decrease in CO of 47.37%, an increase in h22o of 24.37%, and a decrease in HC of 45.11% at 2000 RPM rotation. The 4000 RPM rotation decreased CO by 89.11%, CO2 increased by 35.48%, and HC decreased by 36.98%. The 6000 RPM rotation decreased CO by 41.67%, CO2 increased by 17.26% and HC decreased by 6.92%. Semakin banyak populasi sepeda motor berdampak pada kebutuhan bahan bakar dan meningkatnya emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan. Elektroliser berpengaruh pada konsumsi bahan bakar dan gas buang sepeda motor 4 langkah modifikasi injeksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dimulai dengan merancang dan membuat alat yang akan diteliti, kemudian dilakukan penelitian. Hasilnya, terjadi penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar sebesar 31.36% pada putaran 2000 RPM, 8.73% pada putaran mesin 4000 RPM dan 15.48% pada putaran 6000 RPM. Sedangkan emisi gas buang, terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 47.37%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 24.37% dan penurunan HC sebesar 45.11% pada putaran 2000 RPM. Putaran 4000 RPM terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 89.11%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 35.48%, dan penurunan HC sebesar 36.98%. Putaran 6000 RPM terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 41.67%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 17.26% dan penurunan HC sebesar 6.92%.
