Abstract

Kegiatan berwirausaha yang dilakukan oleh ibu rumah tangga adalah bentuk partisipasi perempuan yang merupakan bagian integral dari partisipasi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini ini berlokasi di Gunung sari Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berkolaborasi dengan industry rumahan yang aktif sejak tahun 2019. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan Kreativitas yang mana mendorong peserta untuk bereksperimen dengan variasi rasa, bentuk, dan isian donat serta roti kentang serta mengembangkan inovasi produk yang dapat menarik lebih banyak konsumen dan akan menghasilkan produksi yang lebih sehat dan mampu bersaing dipasaran sehingga mampu menaikkan harga jualnya serta mendukung ketahanan pangan lokal yang artinya mengoptimalkan penggunaan bahan-bahan lokal untuk produksi makanan kemudian meningkatkan akses masyarakat terhadap produk pangan olahan berkualitas dengan harga terjangkau.

Abstract

This service activity was carried out in Kawo Village involving 15 broiler farmers. This activity has several objectives including: (1) increasing the understanding of broiler farmers in Kawo Village about the importance of financial recording and reporting; (2) providing training and socialization on simple financial reports; (3) assisting farmers in preparing financial reports directly; (4) building awareness and good habits in financial administration for business efficiency and access to funding. The steps taken in this service activity include: Initial Survey and Problem Identification, Socialization and Education, Technical Training, Individual Assistance and Evaluation and Follow-up. The results of the service showed several positive findings. First, there is an increase in farmers' knowledge about the importance of financial recording and reporting in the broiler farming business. Second, farmers began to familiarize themselves with recording finances regularly, either daily, weekly or monthly. Third, they were able to prepare simple financial reports that included records of income, expenses, profit/loss and cash flow. Finally, farmers can make better business decisions based on accurate and structured financial information.

Abstract

Abstract: This community service activity aims to improve the ability of students of the Socioeconomics Department, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram in processing research data using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. The target of this activity is final semester students who are or will be compiling their final assignments, where mastery of data analysis is a crucial aspect. The method used is training with a direct practice approach and case studies. To measure the effectiveness of the activity, a pretest and posttest were conducted related to basic statistical knowledge and the use of SPSS. The results of the training showed a significant increase (p-value = 0.000 <0.005) in the understanding and skills of participants in processing research data. This activity makes a real contribution to improving students' readiness in compiling their final assignments independently and systematically.

Abstract

The tariff war between the US and China in 2025 is a signal for Indonesia as the world's largest palm oil exporter that relies on both markets. Market diversification needs to be carried out to avoid instability and uncertain conditions. This study aims to analyze market share through the competitiveness of palm oil in 5 main export destination countries. The EPD method is used with secondary data from 2013-2023. After identifying the countries with the most potential for market penetration, the forecast of the value of Indonesian palm oil exports to these countries was carried out using the ARIMA method with monthly secondary data from January 2013 to May 2023. The EPD analysis results show that Pakistan has the highest Rising Star position, which means it has the greatest potential to be used as a destination for Indonesian palm oil exports. Meanwhile, the results of the ARIMA modelling found that the most appropriate forecasting model was ARIMA (1,1,1) without a constant. As a result, the forecast of the value of Indonesian palm oil exports to Pakistan shows a significant upward trend of 0.4% per month. This study found that the Pakistani market could be used as an export destination to diversify the market and, simultaneously, as an entry point to surrounding countries to prioritize the sustainability of the Indonesian palm oil trade.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to: (1) Analyze the income of corn farmers in the buffer zone of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ); (2) Assess the welfare levels of these farmers. The research was conducted in the buffer zone of the Mandalika SEZ, specifically in Mertak Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive research design. Data collection was carried out through interviews guided by questionnaires with 40 respondents, selected through accidental sampling. The data analysis techniques used in this study include: (1) Income analysis; (2) Household welfare level analysis. The results indicate that: (1) The average income from corn farming per planting season in the buffer zone of the Mandalika SEZ is IDR 11,928,400 per LLG or IDR 12,563,764 per hectare; (2) Based on the NTRP, Sajogyo, and BPS approaches, on average, corn farming households fall into the prosperous category. However, when considering distribution, 30% of farming households are still not prosperous according to the NTRP approach. Additionally, according to the Sajogyo criteria, 12.5% of households are categorized as poor, and 5% as extremely poor. Meanwhile, the BPS poverty analysis reveals that 47.5% of households are classified as poor.

Abstract

Food security at the farmer household level can be measured through several indicators, one of which is income and food and non-food expenditure. These factors can be a reference to see household-level food security. The greater the income, the greater the purchasing power and thus the greater the level of household welfare. One of the many agricultural products in Indonesia is cassava. In an effort to maintain the stability of food security of cassava farmers, this study aims to determine what factors affect the food security of cassava farming households in Central Lombok Regency. With the dependent variable is market share and the independent variable is the level of monthly income, participation in PKK activities, the number of dependents and age and food and non-food expenditures. And the results of this study are variables that have a significant influence on the food security of farmer households are participation in PKK activities and household expenditures of cassava farmers, with a significant value of 0.03 less than the value of 0.05, and the second variable that has a significant influence on household food security is the variable food and non-food expenditure of 0.0001.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of understanding e-commerce, entrepreneurial knowledge and the use of accounting information systems on accounting students' interest in entrepreneurship. Accounting students in 5 universities in Mataram City became the population and sample in this study with the Slovin technique used in determining the minimum sample and proportionate random sampling as a method of distributing questionnaires to respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 25 was used in testing this research. Based on the test results that have been carried out, it is found that the variables of understanding e-commerce, entrepreneurial knowledge and the use of accounting information systems have a significant effect on the interest of accounting students in entrepreneurship. It can be explained that the three variables used play an important role in strengthening the readiness and chances of student success in entrepreneurship so as to reduce unemployment in Indonesia, which means that student orientation is no longer a job seeker but instead a job creator. Based on the results of R square found that 51.6% of the variables of understanding e-commerce, entrepreneurial knowledge and the use of accounting information systems are able to contribute to the interest of accounting students in entrepreneurship, while the remaining 48.4% is explained by other variables that are not included in this research variable such as expectations.

Abstract

The sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the woodcraft industry is increasingly challenged by competition from industrial-scale composite products. This market pressure has contributed to the ongoing decline of the partner enterprise, UD Putra Meubeller. The decline in this woodcraft business can be attributed to three primary factors: production, management, and marketing. This community engagement initiative focuses specifically on addressing the production-related issues. The engagement process is conducted through five stages: socialization, training, technology implementation, evaluation and assistance, and program sustainability. The knowledge gained by the partner during the training phase has introduced new ideas for product development in wood processing. The partner has acquired new insights related to yakisugi finishing techniques, raw material control from fast-growing wood species, and the maintenance of woodcraft machinery. This initiative is expected to reinvigorate the woodcraft business by refreshing product designs to align with current market trends and preferences in the furniture sector.

Abstract

The Pade Girang Farmers Group is one of the farmer groups in Landah Village, Praya Timur District, Central Lombok Regency. The types of farming they are engaged in are tobacco and paddy. In addition to these two commodities, Landah Village also has abundant natural resources and the harvest period is not dependent on the season, namely bananas. However, partners do not have the skills to process the existing local potential, namely bananas. So this activity aims to provide skills in the form of training in processing banana fruit innovation into banana cake in order to increase the economic value of existing resources. From the results of the community service, it was concluded that: (1) The response of the female members of the Pade Girang farmer group to the material that had been provided showed positive things; (2) Partners were able to produce banana cake independently so that it could have economic value and could increase the income of farming families apart from the agricultural sector; (3) There was a significant increase in the level of knowledge and skills of the female members of the Pade Girang farmer group regarding processed banana fruit products.

Abstract

Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Nine Seru memiliki kegiatan ekonomi yang berfokus dalam mengolah pisang, talas, ubi dan singkong menjadi keripik. Usaha keripik yang dijalankan oleh KWT Nine Seru telah memiliki pelanggan tetap dan hasil usaha ini telah membantu perekonomian anggota KWT Nine Seru. Meskipun demikian, KWT Nine Seru masih menghadapi kendala dalam mengembangkan usahanya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk melakukan pendampingan pengembangan produk dari bahan baku pisang dan ubi ungu menjadi bolu kukus di KWT Nine Seru. Metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan pengabdian ini terdiri atas tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi serta keberlanjutan program. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 12 orang anggota KWT Nine Seru dan dilaksanakan di rumah sekretaris KWT Nine Seru. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan, kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berjalan dengan baik dan mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan yaitu dalam mendampingi anggota KWT Nine Seru untuk dapat membuat bolu kukus berbahan baku pisang dan ubi ungu. Secara umum, kegiatan pengabdian telah memberikan dampak kepada pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota KWT Nine Seru, sehingga kedepannya mereka dapat secara mandiri membuat bolu kukus pisang dan ubi ungu. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta melalui analisis perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan dan ekonomi anggota KWT Seru melalui kegiatan memproduksi bolu kukus dalam skala kecil.
