Abstract

A company cannot grow without high employee performance. Performance refers to actual performance, work achievements, or tangible accomplishments made by employees, which comes from the term job performance. One way to measure employee competence is by looking at their work performance. The success of an organization is directly proportional to the quality of its human resources. Conversely, poor human resource performance can lead to poor organizational performance. The results of this study indicate that financial knowledge and financial attitudes have a positive and significant effect on the financial management behavior of MSME players in West Denpasar, Denpasar City, but financial planning has a negative and significant effect on the financial management behavior of MSME players in West Denpasar, Denpasar City. Abstract

Financial behavior is defined as the manner in which an individual administers and manages their financial resources. This encompasses a wide range of actions, including the management of expenses, the regulation of income, and the execution of financial decisions that are deemed to be the most suitable. Advancements in financial technology have precipitated substantial shifts in financial management patterns, particularly among Generation Z, who are progressively more accustomed to utilizing digital financial services for transactions and acquiring financial information. This observation suggests that Gen Z's financial behavior is not yet fully established and continues to be influenced by a variety of internal and external factors. This phenomenon provides a foundational framework for investigating the factors that shape Gen Z's financial behavior, with particular attention to the distinction between positive and negative financial behaviors. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and lifestyle on Gen Z's financial behavior. The present study employs a quantitative approach, with a sample size of 140 respondents selected via purposive sampling based on the formula by Hair et al. The results indicate that financial literacy, financial inclusion, and lifestyle each have a positive and significant influence on Gen Z's financial behavior. It is anticipated that these findings will serve as a foundation for Gen Z to cultivate more judicious financial management skills and as a point of reference for future researchers to develop studies by incorporating additional variables that may influence financial behavior.

Abstract

The productivity decline and high absenteeism among employees at UD Dewa Dewi Busana Denpasar in 2024 highlight internal issues that may affect performance and job satisfaction. This study examines the influence of transformational leadership and work-life balance on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach and a census of 35 employees, data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4. Results show that transformational leadership (? = 0.216, t = 2.062, p = 0.042) and work-life balance (? = 0.298, t = 2.382, p = 0.019) significantly improve employee performance. Both also enhance job satisfaction—transformational leadership (? = 0.327, t = 4.057, p = 0.000) and work-life balance (? = 0.540, t = 5.848, p = 0.000). Job satisfaction itself positively affects performance (? = 0.534, t = 3.957, p = 0.000) and partially mediates the effects of transformational leadership (? = 0.175, p = 0.012) and work-life balance (? = 0.289, p = 0.002) on performance. These findings underscore the pivotal role of leadership and work-life balance in enhancing job satisfaction and optimizing performance, particularly in growing fashion retail businesses.

Abstract

Maintaining patient loyalty is a key challenge in public healthcare services. This study aims to examine the mediating role of patient satisfaction in the relationship between service quality, hospital image, and the Social Security Agency for Health (BPJS Kesehatan) participants' loyalty at RSUD Mangusada Badung. A quantitative method was employed by distributing questionnaires to BPJS participants who had received services at the hospital. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results show that service quality and hospital image significantly influence both patient satisfaction and loyalty. Patient satisfaction also partially mediates the relationship between service quality, hospital image, and loyalty. Numerically, service quality has a path coefficient of X, hospital image Y, and patient satisfaction Z toward loyalty, all with significant p-values (p 0.05). These findings imply that improving service quality and maintaining a strong hospital image can enhance patient satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty among BPJS participants. The study contributes to healthcare service management literature and offers practical insights for hospital administrators and BPJS policymakers in formulating strategies to strengthen patient retention and institutional trust.
